Galatians 3:14 This act of Christ released the blessing of Abraham upon the Gentiles! Now we are free to receive the blessing of the Spirit. (TMB)
Are you passing your test of endurance?
As you walk along, living your life day by day, sometimes your days can seem to be full of struggles. When that happens, you must always keep in your mind, the blessings of Abraham rest on your life.
Galatians 3:6-9 Abraham, our father of faith, led the way as our pioneering example. He believed God and the substance of his faith released God’s righteousness to him. 7 So those who are the true children of Abraham will have the same faith as their father! 8 God’s plan all along was to bring this message of salvation to the nations through the revelation of faith. Long ago God prophesied over Abraham, as the Holy Scriptures say: “Through your example of faith all the nations will be blessed!” 9 And so the blessing of Abraham’s faith is now our blessing too! (TPT)
Abraham’s promise is for you as well. God grafted you in. That may not seem like much when you are dealing with impossible problems. However, Jesus’ life, crucifixion, and resurrection is a part of the promise God gave to Abraham. The results of Jesus’ obedience unto death are your justification and the gift of the Spirit through faith. You walk this walk, deal with the things you deal with, and stand on the promises of God through faith. You claim victory; you don’t cower before the enemy; and you don’t walk as if God won’t fulfill His promises to you and for your life. Because of your faith, you will be a blessing to someone who is watching you. Your rejoicing does not stop, there is more to the promise to Abraham and his descendants. When this time is over, you will be with God in glory. These minor blips of hardship you deal with: having to crucify your flesh, denying yourself, and turning down what the world offers, only last for a moment, compared to the endless time you would spend in glory.
Please agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response:
Father, I thank You for making a way for me to be with You in glory. I thank You for enabling me to hold on to Your promise. I thank You, Father God, for the hope I have to be with You in paradise. You are my desire and I seek after You. I want to dwell in Your house all the days of my life. I want to behold Your beauty and to enquire of Your temple. I repent for wanting You to take away the trials You have ordained for me to go through. It does not matter how difficult the training I must endure, the hardships I may or may not experience, the betrayals or anything else, I want You. I realize whatever I must go through is nothing compared to what Jesus did for me on the cross. I thank You for this opportunity…
