(TMB) \nDoes it take all that? \nThere is a story that has been told for a long time: \nThe Ant works hard performing his tasks all summer long\, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The Grasshopper thinks he is a fool and laughs\, dances and plays the summer away. Come winter\, the Ant is warm and well fed. The Grasshopper has no food or shelter\, so he dies out in the cold. (Aesop’s Fable) \nYou must live your life as God has commanded. It may seem foolish to others. You spend time in prayer instead of watching a movie. You worship instead of gossip. You choose to live your life for the Lord now instead of having fun and giving Him the scraps. You may be referred to as radical\, extra\, or over the top. \n1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation\, a royal priesthood\, an holy nation\, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. (KJV) \nIf you are living as if Christianity is not fun\, stop it. \nJohn 10:10b I came that they may have and enjoy life\, and have it in abundance (to the full\, till it overflows). (AMPC) \nThe excitement about where you will be when winter comes should show in your life and in your worship. Don’t allow anyone to interfere with it. Your worship is not just how you respond to music in a church service; it is how you live your life. God created you to worship Him. It takes all you have to give and more. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for leading me to recognize it takes all I have and more to live my life according to Your word and give You the worship You are due. I will continue to “do the most”. I repent when I allowed myself to be swayed by the conversation and commentary of others regarding my life. I will always stand up for my actions. It does not matter who thinks I do too much. I don’t care if I am seen as “way over the top”. I will say thank You when I am called a holy roller. I will live my life as directed by You\, whatever it takes. If You require me to be “extra”\, then I will be extra for You.
