SUMMARY:Romans 5:5
DESCRIPTION:Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (KJV) \nDo you have hope? \nAs a Christian\, your hope fuels every moment\, of every day\, of your life. Sometimes people\, who don’t know Christ or who are not running hard after Christ\, evaluate your hope as foolish. Continue to live your life and walk in the hope of God. Your strength comes because you are not ashamed. It may seem irrational. It may even seem crazy. However\, you know who covers\, keeps\, and sustains you.  \n1 Peter 3:14-15 But even if you happen to suffer for doing what is right\, you will have the joyful experience of the blessing of God. And Don’t be intimidated or terrified by those who would terrify you. 15 But give reverent honor in your hearts to the Anointed One and treat him as the holy Master of your lives. And if anyone asks about the hope living within you\, always be ready to explain your faith. (TPT) \nThe power of God is what gets you up every day. Your knowledge of God and His love for you helps you live and life that shows you have hope. Why do you to turn the other cheek; pray for those who handle you inappropriately; maintain peace while storms are raging? It is because of your hope! Thank God for the Holy Ghost as He comforts\, teaches\, guides\, and serves as a constant reminder of why you have hope and where your hope lies. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for my hope. I repent for those times I walked doubt. Because of my hope\, I show love and speak peace and encouragement\, in my life and also in the lives of others. I have hope in You. Thank You for the Holy Ghost\, Who comforts me every day. He encourages me; He gives me strength\, and He fortifies my hope as I stand on Your promises. I give You glory… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Romans 8:39
DESCRIPTION:Romans 8:39 Nor height\, nor depth\, nor any other creature\, shall be able to separate us from the love of God\, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV) \nDo you feel all alone? \nThere is nothing in the heavens above nor under the earth\, no creature\, nor demonic influence that can separate you from the love of God. This is important to understand because the spiritual warfare you encounter in your everyday life\, as a believer\, is very real. The more mature in Christ you get\, as you draw closer to the Lord\, the more aware you will be. You will even begin to discern the tricks and traps of the enemy before he can spring them. Though you see him at work\, you also have to know he won’t win. It is not you or any power or authority you have. It is the love of God and the power and authority He has.  \nRomans 8:31\, 35-37 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us\, who can be against us? 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation\, or distress\, or persecution\, or famine\, or nakedness\, or peril\, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (NKJV) \nThere is no devil\, no principality\, or no power that can surpass the love God has for you. This is important to understand and believe because life can be overwhelming. You deal with things; situations happen in your life; and often you don’t understand why the things are happening\, where the problems are coming from or what God is teaching you. The enemy will tell you lies. He wants to convince you God is angry about something you did or said\, which caused Him to leave you. It is important for you to know the word of God for yourself and you can respond to the devil\, just like Jesus did. It is written. \nMatthew 28:20b And be sure of this: I am with you always\, even to the end of the age. (NLT) \nThis is one of the most important weapons you have in your arsenal to pull out in times of trouble. You say\, “Though it may look like I am alone\, or I may feel like I am alone\, nothing can separate me from the love of God. I am not alone!” \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for the assurance that nothing can separate me from You. Your love holds me\, binds me\, and fights for me. I can hold on to You on those days when the enemy comes and tries to make me feel alone\, forsaken\, and lost. I know You are right there. I know You never moved. I repent for the time when my actions and my thoughts about my actions caused me to move. I could not or would not forgive myself\, and I acted like You would not forgive me either. I saw myself as unworthy\, as if I could possibly be worthy any other time. I give You praise\, and I am grateful because You stopped me and called me back to You. You showed me how to get back on track and return to the place I left. You sent Jesus to die and rise again. Nothing can separate You from me\, not even me. It makes me want to shout. It makes me want to sing. Thank You for reminding me of this truth. Thank You for giving this to me to use in my time of trouble. Hallelujah to Your Name!… \n  \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Thessalonians 3:5
DESCRIPTION:2 Thessalonians 3:5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God\, and into the patient waiting for Christ. (KJV) \nAre you willing to leave your work undone? \nDo you sometimes wish for the return of Christ? Do you want this earthy life to be over? Now those are tricky questions because your current relationship status\, or something overwhelming you are dealing with at the moment\, might drive the answers. Do you sometimes say\, “If Jesus comes back right now; I will be with Him in glory and I won’t have to worry about this or anything else anymore”? You are not the only person who thought about this. Christians have been contemplating going to heaven since Christianity began. Look at how Paul addressed and answered these questions:  \nPhilippians 1:21-23 My true life is the Anointed One\, and dying means gaining more of him. 22–23 So here’s my dilemma: Each day I live means bearing more fruit in my ministry; yet I fervently long to be liberated from this body and joined fully to Christ. That would suit me fine\, (TPT) \nOf course\, you want to be with the Lord\, you want the pain and the fight against the enemy to be over. However\, you also know the work God has called you to do is important.  \nPhilippians 1:24-25 but the greatest advantage to you would be that I remain alive. So you can see why I’m torn between the two—I don’t know which I prefer. 25 Yet deep in my heart I’m confident that I will be spared so I can add to your joy and further strengthen and mature your faith. (TPT) \nHow many days did you ask God to show you your purpose\, tell you His call on your life\, increase the anointing on your life as you fulfill your destiny\, etc.? Be willing to be patient for Jesus’ return. Let John 4:34 be your daily confession. \nJohn 4:34 Jesus said to them\, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work. (AMPC) \nIt’s okay to want to be in heaven. There is peace and joy there\, no more fighting\, no more anguish\, no more temptations to battle. Though that is a celebration waiting to be had\, if you have not finished the work God has assigned to you; where is the celebration in that? Paul also had words because he held to his commitment. \n2 Timothy 4:7-8a I have fought the good (worthy\, honorable\, and noble) fight\, I have finished the race\, I have kept (firmly held) the faith. 8 [As to what remains] henceforth there is laid up for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right]\, which the Lord\, the righteous Judge\, will award to me and recompense me on that [great] day (AMPC) \nYou want to touch all the people God has ordained for you to touch. You don’t want to leave your work undone. The lost\, the wounded\, the babes in Christ\, etc.\, are your assignment. Allow the Lord\, by the Holy Spirit\, to direct your heart to keep the faith. Love those who need to hear your testimony as you wait patiently for Christ’s return. Then you will hear the Father say\, “Well Done”. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, there are times when I want to come on home to be with You. Not a suicidal wish\, just a selfish one. Thank You for reminding me if I have not finished my task\, I must continue on. I must get through whatever I am dealing with. Those\, who You have assigned to my life\, need to hear my testimony\, and the words of Your victory will snatch them out of the grip of the enemy. What a great revelation of purpose and living. I repent for acting like my life is just for me. I repent for wanting to leave my work undone. What if Jesus had done the same? My humanity and the desire not to struggle were the driving force behind those feelings. Even as I am praying\, You are showing me; if I’m struggling\, then I’m not resting in You. Help me rest\, as I look with anticipation for the fulfillment of my purpose. I thank You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 3:16
DESCRIPTION:1 John 3:16 This is how we have discovered love’s reality: Jesus sacrificed his life for us. Because of this great love\, we should be willing to lie down our lives for one another. (TPT) \nAre you willing to give up your life to show the love of God? \nForeigner wrote a song entitled “I want to know what love is”. The unfortunate thing is\, the group is not asking the right person. If they really want to know what love is and if they want someone to show them; they need to ask Jesus and look at His life. If you are also wondering\, Jesus shows what genuine love is. Jesus is love personified. It is not enough to talk about love. It has to be demonstrated. Love is an action word. What actions did Jesus take? He gave up His deity and His throne in heaven\, came to earth and lived as a man\, and suffered and died the most humiliating death. He did all of this for a world who did not know or love Him.  \nJohn 3:16 For God expressed His love for the world in this way: He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not face everlasting destruction\, but will have everlasting life. (TVT) \nJohn 15:13 For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends. (TPT) \nThere is no greater expression of love. To perpetuate Jesus’ sacrifice and love\, you also have to give up your life as you understand it. Not to die physically\, though some have. You want to allow the Lord to realign your priorities. There will always be someone who wants to understand what love is\, and there will always be a need for someone to show love until Jesus returns. Someone witnessed to you. Someone guided you and showed you the love of Christ. In order for you to do the same for someone else\, you must be willing to sacrifice the life you mapped out and planned for yourself. Be willing to give up your perfect\, wonderful life and allow God to own it. Be willing to alter your career choice for the choice that God designed for you in order to save souls. Every day\, you will come across someone who needs you. He/she may or may not know the Lord. At that moment\, sharing Christ may not be on your agenda. You may pass on the opportunity because you have an appointment\, you are late for work; you have had a bad day; you are tired\, etc. However\, make the same affirmation over your life\, Paul made. \nGalatians 2:20  I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live\, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God\, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. (AMPC) \nRemember\, when God owns your life\, He sets your agenda. Choose what sacrifice you must make. It may be your time\, your talent\, your career\, or your money. Whatever it is\, be grateful for the chance and take it.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You because I can say I know what love is. Jesus showed me. I am grateful I accepted Your invitation for salvation. I am also thankful for allowing You to rule and regulate my life. I am Your servant and I live in Your love. Thank You for the opportunity to show others what love is. I understand in order to love\, in the purest sense\, I have to give up my life. I repent for trying to hold on to it. With each day that passes\, I get more excited about understanding what it means to be crucified with Christ. My life is not mine to govern. It is Yours to do with as You will. Use me and some lost man\, woman\, boy or girl might come to know Your love as well… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Revelation 12:11
DESCRIPTION:Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb\, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (KJV) \nWould you die for the faith? \nThe blood that Jesus shed saved you\, washed you\, and presents you as faultless before God. You can look at who you are and compare it to who you used to be. When you do\, you will see your saved and transformed life through the blood of Jesus\, as the Father does. He does not remember who you used to be. \n1 Corinthians 6:10-11 Do not be misled. A lot of people stand to inherit nothing of God’s coming kingdom\, including those whose lives are defined by sexual immorality\, idolatry\, adultery\, sexual deviancy\, theft\, greed\, drunkenness\, slander\, and swindling. 11 Some of you used to live in these ways\, but you are different now; you have been washed clean\, set apart\, restored\, and set on the right path in the name of the Lord Jesus\, the Anointed\, by the Spirit of our living God. (TVT) \nIt should excite you to list some things that have happened since salvation and how Jesus changed your life. This is your testimony. Please take a moment and fill in the blanks below. It is how you tell someone what the Lord has done for you. \nYou can say: I used to _ \nI used to struggle with   \nNow\, I am saved because of the blood of the Lamb. I no longer  ______________ and I have found peace. \nTitus 3:3-7 For we ourselves were once foolish\, disobedient\, and wrong. We were slaves to passions and pleasures of all kinds. We spent our lives in malice and envy; others hated us and we hated them. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior was revealed\, 5 he saved us. It was not because of any good deeds that we ourselves had done\, but because of his own mercy that he saved us\, through the Holy Spirit\, who gives us new birth and new life by washing us. 6 God poured out the Holy Spirit abundantly on us through Jesus Christ our Savior\, 7 so that by his grace we might be put right with God and come into possession of the eternal life we hope for. (GNT) \nYour testimony is what God has given you to make it through. The children of Israel used to set up altars when and where God performed miracles to help them remember what He had done. Your life is a monument to what God has done\, can do\, and will do. It’s how you overcome. Whenever and wherever you get the opportunity to talk about what God has done\, take it. Never let anyone or anything stop you. In the days of the first church\, Christians were martyred. They loved not their lives\, even to death. There are places in the world where Christians are still being killed today and yet they live for God.  \nActs 5:40 And they agreed with him\, and when they had called for the apostles and beaten them\, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus\, and let them go. 41 So they departed from the presence of the council\, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. 42 And daily in the temple\, and in every house\, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. (NKJV) \nYou may never face a situation where saying you love God means death. However\, because of what Jesus did for you\, you should be willing. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I am an overcomer and I thank You. Thank You for Your Son\, Jesus and His blood shed for me. Because of being washed in the Blood\, not only do I have a testimony\, I have testimonies. I don’t know if I will ever be in a situation where saying I love You will mean my physical death. However\, I want to believe I will be able to say so\, without pause. Even if I don’t have to die a physical death\, I know You are calling me to die to my flesh every day. I repent for the days when my flesh wins. Help me live in You\, and I will sacrifice my life for You. Father\, Your love has sustained and kept me; without it\, I would not have a testimony. I pray for strength\, as I will give my testimony no matter what. I also pray my testimony will bring You glory and will bless the lives of others… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 5:21
DESCRIPTION:1 John 5:21 We know that whoever Jesus is\, as God’s son\, we are. This knowledge defeats every image of our imagination that could possibly compete with the authentic likeness of our design! Darling children\, distance yourselves from every substitute image\, which is what idolatry is all about! (TMB\, edited) \nDo you have idols in your life?  \nKeeping yourself from idols would seem to be a simple thing to do. There are probably no statues\, dolls\, animal images etc. in your home. However\, it is important to explore the idea of what an idol is\, outside of aboriginal and witchcraft related images. \nAn idol is any person or thing that you give excessive devotion and/or reverence to. It is anything that replaces the one\, true God.  \nExodus 20:3 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” (KJV) \nIn addition to worshiping people and things\, you can also worship the activities you take part in. Just to be clear\, any person (dead or alive)\, object (car\, home\, clothing\, alcohol\, drugs) or activity (job\, ministry\, hobby\, computer\, video games\, pornography\, sex) that you give a higher priority in your life to than your relationship with God is an idol.  \nEphesians 5:15-17 Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately\, not as the unwise and witless\, but as wise (sensible\, intelligent people)\, 16 Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity]\, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish\, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is. (AMPC) \nThe devil’s ability to hide idols in your everyday life activities is a very subtle and extremely effective form of warfare. For Christians\, those activities you do “for the Lord” can also take up such an extensive amount of your time. The time you spend on activities won’t leave you any to develop your relationship with the Lord. Your desire must be to spend time in worship and in prayer.  \nPsalm 27:4 One thing I have desired of the Lord\, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life\, To behold the beauty of the Lord\, And to inquire in His temple. (NKJV) \nThe Lord Almighty will grant your desire. Also\, in your time of enquiry\, He will identify what your idols are\, where your idols are\, and deliver you from them.  \n Please agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for making me aware of my idols. There were things and people in my life I had placed before You without realizing it\, and I repent. Thank You for pointing out activities I refused to break away from because I thought I needed them or I thought they were more important. I am sorry I held on to them as long as I did. Some of them were addictions in disguise that devoured me. Others were self-serving activities that were not as important as I thought\, that consumed my time. Not only did You love me enough to identify what or who could keep me from worship\, prayer\, and study; You delivered me and I thank You. I know as I grow closer to You\, You will continue to reveal things as You transform me into Your image. Father\, I lay at Your altar and I submit to Your delivering power when You show me the hidden idols in my life. I honor You and I give You all reverence and authority. I know You have to destroy anything in my life that does not look like You and does not bring You glory. I also know I have to want to be delivered. I can’t hold on to idols in my heart\, while my lips are saying take them away. Father\, tie me to the altar just in case I start to move. Keep me close and help me live a fasted life\, as I line up my mind\, my heart\, and my will with Yours. Please have Your way in my life and continue to show me those things in my life I would allow to take precedence over You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 24:45
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant\, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household\, to give them meat in due season? (KJV) \nAre you a faithful and wise servant? \nThere are those who are great orators. They give you goose bumps with the fire and passion of their delivery. As they thunder out their sermons\, you can get swept up. How much value is it to you if you can’t remember what the speaker said and your life has not changed.  \nWhy is this important in warfare? Because you have to hear the word and change in response to what you heard.  \nLuke 8:8 Yet some of the seeds fell into good\, fertile soil\, and they grew and flourished until they produced more than a hundredfold harvest\, a bumper crop. Then Jesus added\, shouting out to all who would hear\, “Listen with your heart and you will understand!” (TPT) \nWhen the power of God changes you\, it affects what you think\, how you act\, and what you say. The same power will rest on the words you speak to transform those who are listening to you.  \n1 Corinthians 2:4-5 And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom [using clever rhetoric]\, but [they were delivered] in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit [operating through me] and of [His] power [stirring the minds of the listeners and persuading them]\, 5 so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom and rhetoric of men\, but on the power of God. (AMP) \nAs you continue on your journey with the Lord\, you may get the opportunity to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus\, or maybe just a word of life building encouragement\, with someone. You may speak to a large\, medium-sized or small group; or maybe it will be just one person. When that opportunity comes\, what will you do? Will you be faithful to give the sincere meat of the word; will you inundate them with platitudes and spiritual slogans; or will you speak to their situation and call them from darkness to light? Sometimes you only get one opportunity to make a difference\, don’t blow it. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I want to be a good steward over the gifts and the talents You have given me. I repent for any time that I mishandled Your gifts or used them for my benefit. I pray You keep me in line\, and I will only use them for Your kingdom. I want to speak words that bring health and life. It does not matter to me if I speak before a great crowd or if I speak to only one. Filled with desire\, I respond to Your call for discipleship by shaping my life according to Your word. It is not my goal to make someone feel good\, nor for them to like me. My desire is to lift You up. If I am a good steward over the gifts\, You gave me; You will be glorified\, and not me. Father\, I receive Your gifts humbly and gratefully. I commit to use them\, according to Your will and command\, to teach\, guide\, and instruct those You have assigned to me; sharing with them in love as I practice what I teach. I pray You get a return on Your investment in me… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Timothy 4:8
DESCRIPTION:2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness\, which the Lord\, the righteous judge\, shall give me at that day: and not to me only\, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (KJV) \n Are you excited about your crown? \nYou go to work every day because on payday you want to get paid. You look forward to retirement\, when you won’t have to work\, and you will still receive pay. You probably took the job based on the benefits attached to it\, salary being a very important aspect. You also get excited that the longer you are an employee\, the more you make. What happens when there is an issue with the company you work for? They could ask you to take a pay cut. They could lay you off. You could end up not getting the retirement you worked for. If you see your position with the Lord accurately\, you work for Him. \n1 Corinthians 3:9a For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters\, laborers together) with and for God; (AMPC) \nIf you continue to work diligently\, serving the Lord\, no matter what you have to endure\, the benefits and the reward will never change. You never have to worry about an issue with the company. He will never lay you off. Isn’t it a blessing to know the God you serve will do what He has promised? \nHebrews 10:23 So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it\, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word. (AMPC) \nIsn’t it also a great blessing that the Father does not base your benefit on the time you have been on the job? Read the parable of the landowner in Matthew 20:1-16. Also\, read the discussion Jesus had with the criminals as He hung on the cross in Luke 23:39-43. The Father has reserved a crown for you and for all those who remain in the faith as you wait for Jesus’ return. \nJames 1:12 Blessed [happy\, spiritually prosperous\, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved\, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. (AMP) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I did nothing to earn my salvation. It is because of what You did for me\, and I thank You. I repent for the times I took it for granted. You have promised I will be with You in glory. And if that was not enough\, if I am a faithful servant\, I can expect to wear a crown. It does not matter what title I have or don’t have. It does not matter how long or tough the road I have to travel. It does not matter what position I hold. It does not matter if I have to walk alone. It does not matter how many mistakes I made. What matters in my faithfulness to stay the course. You give the race to the one who endures to the end. I must continue to look\, with expectancy\, for Your return with my hope based on You. I know it is only because of Your grace I can remain\, and I thank You for it… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Titus 2:13
DESCRIPTION:Titus 2:13 Everyone must welcome with open arms the outrageously blessed expectation; Jesus is what the world was waiting for! He radiates the brilliant intent of God\, engineered by his greatness to rescue the world in him. (TMB) \nDo you have an anticipation of Christ’s return? \nThe early church faced constant persecution\, and life for a Christian under Roman rule was difficult. The Romans looked upon Christians as traitors\, persecuted them\, and put them to death. Even though they lived under those adverse conditions\, the hope of the coming of the Lord lifted the believers’ morale. “Maranatha!” became the common greeting of the oppressed believers\, replacing the Jewish greeting shalom. You are not being persecuted like they were then. Still\, you should always look in anticipation and excitement for the return of Jesus.  \nTitus 2:13 Watch for His return; expect the blessed hope we all will share when our great God and Savior\, Jesus the Anointed\, appears again. (TVT) \nWhen Jesus returns\, you can live with Him in heaven. Eternity in heaven is the foundation of your hope. Until that time\, while you are still on earth\, you show the world who Jesus is through the life you live. \nColossians 1:27 Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ\, embedded within us\, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people\, and God wants everyone to know it! (TPT) \nYour life should bring others the hope of glory. You should stop to think about Jesus’ return from time to time. \n1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout\, with the voice of the archangel\, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds\, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (KJV) \nIf you don’t stop to think about Jesus’ return\, the importance of it\, the amazing manifestation\, and all of its majesty\, won’t seem real and you will lose hope.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for reminding me I should look with anticipation for Jesus’ return. I repent for not thinking about it more often\, which diminishes the reality. I need to reflect on that great day. In doing so\, I am continually enriched\, inspired\, and excited. It is my heart’s desire\, Heavenly Father\, to live a life that celebrates my hope. I pray the eyes of my understanding would continue to be enlightened\, and my relationship with You would cause me to be transformed into Your image more and more every day. Please help me in these last days\, to be always ready\, ever vigilant\, counted worthy\, and always watching for the glorious return of my Lord and Savior\, Jesus Christ\, in Whose Name I pray. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and keeping power\, Abba-Father… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Philippians 4:1
DESCRIPTION:Philippians 4:1 Therefore\, my dear brothers and sisters\, stay true to the Lord. I love you and long to see you\, dear friends\, for you are my joy and the crown I receive for my work. (NLT) \nDo you take the time to celebrate those you are mentoring?  \nSometimes\, though you may not want to admit it\, you want to get a pat on your back from your boss\, teacher\, mentor\, etc. As an adult\, the certificate you get for completing your orientation becomes something you put in a frame on your wall. It has absolutely no monetary value\, though you are still proud of it. As you train\, mentor and encourage others\, don’t forget to tell them how grateful to God you are because of them. They help you complete your assignment. When they progress and mature in the things of God\, take the same posture Paul took.  \nPhilippians 1:3-5 Whenever you cross my mind\, I thank my God for you and for the gift of knowing you. 4 My spirit is lightened with joy whenever I pray for you (and I do constantly) 5 because you have partnered with me to spread the gospel since the first day I preached to you. (TVT) \nThose you mentor should be a source of joy to you because of their faith and affection towards the Lord. They add to the stars on your crown of honor in the day you give an account of the work you have done. How do you know when you have progressed in your training? When the thoughts about the people whose lives you have touched\, bring you joy and when you see those you have touched are touching the lives of others. \n2 Timothy 2:2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others. (NLT) \nBecause you love them\, take the time to tell them; it will help in their growth as well as yours. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, thank You for those You have placed in my life for me to mentor. I repent for treating it as a job sometimes. I also thank You for reminding me I must speak with love\, speak life\, and give truth with grace. Mostly\, I am thankful for Your reminder that mentoring is not all I need to do. It is my responsibility to tell them how much I love them; how much I appreciate them; how much I am encouraged by them; how grateful I am that they listen to what You give me to say; and how grateful I am that they are staying in the faith. They received the words You placed in me for them. They believe You sent me. They are the stars in my crown\, and I thank You\, Father… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and jour

SUMMARY:John 2:25
DESCRIPTION:1 John 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us\, even eternal life. (KJV) \nDo you believe God’s promise? \nWhat is a promise? \n\nA promise is a commitment by someone.\nAs a noun\, a promise is a declaration assuring that one will or will not do something. \nAs a verb\, it means to commit oneself by a guarantee to do or give.\nA capacity for good\, similar to a value that is to be realized in the near future. \n\nAs a child\, you quickly accepted a promise as unshakable and true; as you got older\, sometimes the concept of a promise waned. As an adult\, because of life experiences\, you may have become even less likely to believe promises. How often does your reason for trusting have to be challenged before you don’t trust anymore? How many times do your expectations have to go unmet? When you reach your limit\, you might replace your ability to believe in some future activity with what you may refer to as “common sense” and “pragmatism”. Therefore\, what do you do with the promises God has made? Here are just a few of them for you to think about. \nIsaiah 41:10 ‘Do not fear [anything]\, for I am with you; Do not be afraid\, for I am your God. I will strengthen you\, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice\, of power\, of victory\, of salvation].’ (AMP) \nMatthew 11:28-29 Come to Me\, all you who labor and are heavy laden\, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me\, for I am gentle and lowly in heart\, and you will find rest for your souls. (NKJV) \nDeuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous\, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them\, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.” (AMP) \nHebrews 13:5 Don’t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have\, for you always have God’s presence. For hasn’t he promised you\, “I will never leave you\, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life!” (The Passion Translation) \nDon’t allow your experiences with human beings to dictate your trust in the promises of God. The quality of your life depends on whether you really believe them or not. \n2 Corinthians 1:20 For as many as are the promises of God\, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God. (Amplified Bible) \nIt is not enough to say you believe because you are a Christian. If you believe God’s promises\, then you have hope\, expectation\, and excitement. If you do not\, you function from a place of cynicism\, pessimism\, and depression. You chose how you will live your life based on your belief in God’s promises. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I’ve made promises I did not keep\, and I have had promises made to me that were not kept. I celebrate You because You are the Promise Keeper. I’m grateful You are not a man; You don’t lie. I don’t have to worry if You will forget\, or get sidetracked. I have no doubt You will fulfill all the promises You made. I have hope and it gives me joy. I repent when I get heavy and feel discouraged because someone did not keep a promise made to me. Thank You for Your word. It comforts and assures me You love me\, have a plan for my life and You will take care of what I need. I bless You! The promise for me to be with You in glory is yes\, and it is so. I thank You for every promise and I hold on to them every day of my life… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Lamentations 3:25
DESCRIPTION:Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him\, to the soul that seeketh him. (KJV) \nAre you able to celebrate God in tough times? \nIn church\, the Pastor says\, “God is good all the time”. Then the congregation responds\, “And all the time God is good.” Christian use this phrase across denominational lines. We have used it which such regularity\, it just rolls off the tongue with little thought. If you stop\, while you are dealing with some hardship\, trial or personal issue\, do you still say with joy “And all the time God is good.” Jeremiah\, the prophet that is attributed from writing Lamentations\, wrote almost an entire book of the bible as a passionate expression of grief and sorrow. He filled it with poems about how sad he was about the current state of Israel. In the middle of his tears\, he took time to reflect on the fact that no matter how bad things were\, they could be worse. The world would say he had an epiphany. I believe it was a rhema word from the Lord\, a revelation. God is good to those who wait.  \nIsaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run\, and not be weary; and they shall walk\, and not faint. (KJV) \nPsalms 27:14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage\, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait\, I say\, on the Lord. (KJV) \nNot only did Jeremiah get the revelation on the blessings of waiting\, Isaiah and David did as well. Hopefully\, you will get it too. Don’t jump ship in the hard times. Don’t throw in the towel and get a new god. Look for God’s blessings at all times\, especially when it seems like He is not blessing you; or He is not answering your prayers; or you can’t see Him at work. Ask the Lord to reveal to you what is really happening in your life and what He is trying to teach you.  \nJames 1:2-4 Don’t run from tests and hardships\, brothers and sisters. As difficult as they are\, you will ultimately find joy in them; if you embrace them\, your faith will blossom under pressure and teach you true patience as you endure. And true patience brought on by endurance will equip you to complete the long journey and cross the finish line—mature\, complete\, and wanting nothing. (TVT) \nRecognize the enemy is always on his job. He does not want you to live your life growing in the things of God. He certainly does not want you to fulfill the purpose God has for you. Don’t let him distract you; then you will not spend time murmuring and complaining. Confuse the enemy with celebration!!! \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for teaching me the purpose of waiting and for helping me understand better how You work. You have an assignment for me. You gave me the good and perfect gifts I need to fulfill the assignment. However\, there are some things I didn’t think about. I repent for acting like I have the complete picture. I don’t know how I will do what You have called me to do. I don’t know who else You chose to work with me. I need to learn to use Your gifts. Learning will take trial and error\, which means mistakes and difficulties. The vision will come; I must wait for it. I am sorry for getting in a hurry. No matter where my training exercises come from\, You or what You allow the enemy to do\, You are the teacher. You are in control. It is just a test You have designed for me. You must develop the gifts You have given me\, and that happens through trials. I know the race is not given to the swift\, nor to the strong. It’s given to the one who endures to the end. I want to be one of those who endures to the end. Help me endure hardness as a good soldier to please You\, the One Who chose me to be Your soldier… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:
