SUMMARY:Matthew 17:21
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. (KJV) \nIs fasting and praying your religion or your lifestyle? \nYou can choose to live a mediocre life in Christ\, or you can choose to live a powerful one. There is a cost for a powerful life in Christ. The cost dedicated time spent in prayer and fasting. Please keep in mind\, you don’t determine the level of God’s power that works in you\, no matter how much you pray and fast; God does. He gives you what you need based on your relationship with Him and the assignment He has given you. Jesus explained this principle to the disciples.  \nMatthew 17:19-20 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked\, “Why could we not drive it out?” 20 He answered\, “Because of your little faith [your lack of trust and confidence in the power of God]; for I assure you and most solemnly say to you\, if you have [living] faith the size of a mustard seed\, you will say to this mountain\, ‘Move from here to there\,’ and [if it is God’s will] it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” (AMP) \nIn order to be used by God to heal certain sickness and cast out persistent and horrible demons; you need to build your relationship with the Father\, and you need faith\, developed through much prayer and fasting.  \nJude 20 But you\, beloved\, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress\, rise like an edifice higher and higher]\, praying in the Holy Spirit; (AMPC) \nYes\, you fast when you are sleeping; that cannot be the only time. Also\, you should fast more than once a week/month or whatever the church schedule dictates.  \nJoel 2:12 Therefore also now\, says the Lord\, turn and keep on coming to Me with all your heart\, with fasting\, with weeping\, and with mourning [until every hindrance is removed and the broken fellowship is restored]. (AMPC) \nLuke 18:11-12 The religious leader stood apart from the others and prayed\, “How I thank you\, O God\, that I’m not wicked like everyone else. They’re cheaters\, swindlers\, and crooks—like that tax collector over there. God\, you know that I never cheat or commit adultery; I fast from food twice a week and I give you a tenth of all I earn”. (TPT) \nYou have to pray more than a couple of minutes before you fall asleep and couple more when you wake up.  \n1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 Pray without ceasing\, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (NKJV) \nThis is the point where you decide if you are going to have a lifestyle\, not just a religion\, of prayer and fasting. You must have personal communion with the Father\, and a discipline of fasting the Lord has called you to\, not religious practices.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You because fasting and praying are not just something I do; they are both a part of who I am. I repent for the times when I only fasted when instructed\, and I only prayed when I was in distress. I know I need to crucify my flesh. I know I have to deny what I want. When I do\, I can hear what You want. I thank You for correcting me and teaching me. My prayer time is no longer a laundry list of things I want You to take care of. Now it is a peaceful time of waiting and listening to hear Your voice. I want to know what You desire of me and from me. I thank You because though I can set aside time to spend with You\, I cannot schedule every precious and powerful moment. I have to be sensitive to You summoning me. I am grateful You call me to You. I am honored You create those moments. Help me to always respond with willing obedience and anticipation. Thank You for our time together… \nAsk the Lord what He wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Philippians 2:12
DESCRIPTION:Philippians 2:12 Wherefore\, my beloved\, as ye have always obeyed\, not as in my presence only\, but now much more in my absence\, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (KJV) \nDo you still need a babysitter? \nIn the early years of your life\, your parent\, your teacher\, your babysitter\, or whomever was always watching to make sure you did what you were told. As you got older\, even though you should have needed less supervision\, there was still someone there to make sure you did not get out of line. The responsibility for your actions did not completely rest on you. However\, there came a time when expectations changed. You needed to show you knew what to do when you were on your own. Were you able to? Are you able to\, whether or not you were being watched? The same principle applies with your God-given assignment. \nPhilippians 1:27 Only [be sure to] lead your lives in a manner [that will be] worthy of the gospel of Christ\, so that whether I do come and see you or remain absent\, I will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit [and one purpose]\, with one mind striving side by side [as if in combat] for the faith of the gospel. (AMP) \nBeing on assignment means you are mature. It means you don’t need someone else to tell you what God requires of you. You don’t need someone else to tell you when you have done something right or wrong.  \n1 John 2:27 But as for you\, the anointing (the sacred appointment\, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood\, so you must abide in (live in\, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him\, knit to Him]\, just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do]. (AMPC) \nYou can go to God for yourself\, actually He wants and expects you to. You can hear God when He speaks (refer to the information in the Devotional Helps).  \nJohn 10:27 The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them\, and they follow Me. (AMPC) \nYou work with “reverential fear” and awe. God holds you responsible. You will answer for yourself. You will answer to Him alone. Be encouraged. God will let you know when you have done wrong. Why? Because He loves you. How? He will also chastise you (Hebrews 12:6). He wants you to fulfill your assignment. He desires for you to represent Him on the earth correctly.  \nTitus 2:7-8 And in all things show yourself to be an example of good works\, with purity in doctrine [having the strictest regard for integrity and truth]\, dignified\, 8 sound and beyond reproach in instruction\, so that the opponent [of the faith] will be shamed\, having nothing bad to say about us. (AMP) \nDon’t forget\, you are to be the image of an all-powerful and all-mighty God; you speak for the creator of the universe (you should tremble at the idea of it). Take off your shoes. The place where you stand is holy.  \n2 Corinthians 1:12 This is our [reason for] proud confidence: our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world [in general]\, and especially toward you\, with pure motives and godly sincerity\, not in human wisdom\, but in the grace of God [that is\, His gracious lovingkindness that leads people to Christ and spiritual maturity]. (AMP) \nYour responsibility is higher\, and therefore the cost of needing a babysitter is too. Do you remember the priest\, in the temple of old\, with the bells on the bottom of his clothing? What happened when they stopped ringing? If you don’t know\, you can read it in Exodus 28:35. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, You have called me to the place where I don’t need anyone to oversee my actions. You have provided my assignment. My actions should glorify You. My love for You and my relationship with You should govern what I say and what I do. I repent for every time I misrepresented You. I don’t have to get approval from any man; Jesus’ death tore the veil. I can come to You for myself and by myself. I am grateful for the Holy Spirit. He is ever present. He serves as my conscious and guide. He will prick me when necessary. I want to know more about You. I don’t want You to have to prick me constantly. Help me submit to Your word and His guidance\, as I walk closer and closer to You every day. I want to be close enough to You. I want to choose what is right\, because I know it’s right. I want to respond appropriately\, because I know it is appropriate. Please chastise me\, because I am Yours. I want to walk in reverential fear\, and I tremble at the thought of disobeying You. Help me embrace this life You have designed for me\, as I come to You for direction. Keep me humble\, yet bold… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 63:8
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 63:8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. (KJV) \nAre you obedient? \nWhen soldiers are in the middle of a war\, they fight. They do not stop to ask the commander if he is sure. They don’t do part of what they were told. Soldiers follow orders\, or they die. You are a soldier of the Lord. You are in a war\, on assignment. Your instructions are explicit; follow hard after the Lord.  \nMatthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples\, If anyone desires to be My disciple\, let him deny himself [disregard\, lose sight of\, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me\, conform wholly to My example in living and\, if need be\, in dying\, also]. (AMPC) \nYour obedience has to be without question. There is a blessing in being obedient: God protects you.  \nExodus 23:22 But if you will indeed listen to and obey His voice and all that I speak\, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. (AMPC) \nDo you realize you walk out of the divine protection of God when you don’t do what He commands? Do you understand what happens when you disobey? Read Leviticus 26:14-39.  \nHebrews 12:25 Make very sure that you never refuse to listen to God when he speaks! For the God who spoke on earth from Sinai is the same God who now speaks from heaven. Those who heard him speak his living Word on earth found nowhere to hide\, so what chance is there for us to escape if we turn our backs on God and refuse to hear his warnings as he speaks from heaven? (TPT) \nIf you were wondering if you could do some of what God says and not all; there is no such thing as partial obedience. Saul learned that in 1 Samuel 15.  \n1 Samuel 15:13-14\, 22 When Samuel reached him\, Saul said\, “The LORD bless you! I have carried out the LORD’s instructions.” But Samuel said\, “What then is this bleating of sheep in my ears? What is this lowing of cattle that I hear?”… But Samuel replied: “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice\, and to heed is better than the fat of rams”. (NIV) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I can remember times when I told my mom or my dad that I did almost all of what I was told to do. Somehow\, I felt like I could have some level of pride attached to that “almost” accomplishment. Though they may have spared me\, I repent for thinking I could do the same thing with You. I understand\, when I obey You\, there is no almost\, there is no most of it\, there is no gray. I have either been obedient or I have been disobedient. That’s just the way it is. Please forgive me for presenting half of what You told me and thinking it was OK. For the times I almost loved everyone; I almost turned the other cheek; I almost showed kindness and mercy when needed. Help me follow through and see each assignment to the end. Thank You for the Holy Spirit\, who always lets me know if I have completed the task… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 3:2
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 3:2 And saying\, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (KJV) \nAre you asking for forgiveness?  \nBelievers have shared a lot about why you should repent. God is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)\, forgive me as I forgive others (Matthew 6:14)\, etc. Are there times when you don’t want to say\, “I’m sorry”? If so\, what do you do? Do you remember what you were taught to do? Do you think about the times when you wanted forgiveness and will probably want it again? Do you want God to forgive you thinking unforgiveness will keep Him from forgiving you\, and you won’t go to heaven? However you answer those questions\, you are the focus; what you want\, what you feel\, what you need. Here is a perspective that is worth thinking about.  \nIs saying the words “I’m sorry\, or forgive me” causing you an issue? It could very well be you did nothing “you feel” you should be sorry for. However\, that does not fix the problem. Shouldn’t confronting the issue and owning your part in it be about who God is?  \nMatthew 5:23-24 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar\, and there remember that your brother has something against you\, 24 leave your gift there before the altar\, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother\, and then come and offer your gift. (NKJV) \nIt could be you acted or spoke intentionally. You could have been misunderstood or misinterpreted. It does not matter whether you feel you have done anything that requires forgiveness or not\, you may have. Only a conversation\, with the one who has something against you\, will clear that up. To reconcile\, you may have to admit what you did or said was wrong.   \nJames 4:17 So if you know the right way to live and ignore it\, it is sin—plain and simple. (TVT) \nGod does not look on sin\, no flesh can be in His presence. The only way He can see you is through the blood of His Son\, Jesus\, because you have repented. You can make “legitimate” excuses for your behavior. Just remember\, if you excuse yourself\, you have no need for God to do it. That is a scary place to be in. When you make provision for your flesh\, you place yourself outside of the presence of God.  \nProverbs 28:13 Whoever tries to hide his sins will not succeed\, but the one who confesses his sins and leaves them behind will find mercy. (TVT) \nCan you really afford to live there? David pleaded with God not to banish him from His presence. Please think about these things: \n\nHow much humility does it take to ask for forgiveness? \nDo you think you are humble enough not to struggle when God directs you to ask for forgiveness? \nDo I understand the opposite of humbleness is pride?\nDo you realize no one cannot humiliate you if there is no pride left in you? \nWill you agree God ordained or allowed those “humiliating moments”?\nIf you agree\, do you believe God will continue to orchestrate those moments until all pride is destroyed and His light can shine through you?\n\n Psalms 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. (KJV) \nWhen you see God for who He is\, Holy\, Majestic\, Omniscient\, Alpha and Omega; you know you don’t deserve to be in His presence. He is willing. Do what you need to do to. Take advantage of the fact that He wants to spend time with you. Make your decision about Him and not about you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, thank You for understanding and revelation. Asking for forgiveness is about my relationship with You. I had never thought about it that way before. I repent for making every situation about me and what I felt. You have taught me; it doesn’t matter if I think I had a good reason for doing what I did or saying what I said. Your word says if I think my brother or sister has an ought against me; I should go to them. It is not contingent upon who I am or who they are; it is all about You. I don’t want to leave my gift at the altar. When I bring it\, I pray You will receive it as a sweet savor. I want nothing to keep me from being in Your presence. I don’t want to be sorry because I got caught and confronted by the Holy Spirit. I will gladly apologize to whomever I need to apologize to. Not out of vanity or to make myself look like the “bigger person\,” I will apologize simply because I need to\, and I love You… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Corinthians 9:26
DESCRIPTION:1 Corinthians 9:26 I therefore so run\, not as uncertainly; so fight I\, not as one that beateth the air: (KJV) \nAre you certain? \nHow long have you been running this Christian race\, moving from one person’s perspective about what you should do and how you should do it\, to the next person’s perspective? It’s time to stop. \nEphesians 4:14 And then our immaturity will end! And we will not be easily shaken by trouble\, nor led astray by novel teachings or by the false doctrines of deceivers who teach clever lies. (TPT) \nIs this the path you have taken because you really haven’t chosen to spend time with God? He can and will tell you who you are\, then you can know for yourself.  \nJeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me and I will answer you\, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things\, [things which have been confined and hidden]\, which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.” (AMP) \nNot knowing who you are\, causes you to waiver. It makes you seem double-minded and\, therefore\, untrustworthy.  \nJames 1:8 [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating\, dubious\, irresolute)\, [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks\, feels\, decides]. (AMPC) \nThe worst thing you can do is allow someone else\, who doesn’t know who they are and did not create you; give you instruction on how to be you. There is a book called The Richest Man in Babylon. His name was Arkad. Arkad learned to go to the subject-matter expert when he needed something done. It was a great lesson learned for him because he got rich. Not only was he rich\, he was the richest man in Babylon. You can use that same lesson and apply it to your life. \nWho is the subject-matter expert on you? Where do you go to get the information you need to be effective in your life? You go to The Creator. You go to The One who shaped and formed you. \nPsalm 139:13-16 Oh yes\, you shaped me first inside\, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you\, High God\, your works are wonderful! Body and soul\, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out; you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made\, bit by bit\, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book\, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you. The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. (MSG\, edited) \nGod knew what He called you into being to do. He also knew what you needed to complete the task. He began the work in you before the foundation of the world. There’s no need to vacillate. He will complete the work He started.  \nPhilippians 1:6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing\, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return]\, developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you. (AMPC) \nAsk the heavenly Father to help you make your calling and election sure. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for settling in my heart and in my actions who I am. I repent for all the time I spent asking everyone else when I should have been asking You. Now\, when I lack the wisdom to work effectively\, to live effectively\, to represent You effectively as I live on this earth; I come to You. You give me wisdom. You won’t withhold any good thing from me. I can get everything I need from You. It is Your desire for me to prosper; to be who You designed me to be; to fulfill the thought in Your mind when You created me. You want nothing\, other than the task You created for me to complete\, to be my focus. I desire for You to be glorified with my life. I want to hear You say\, “Well done”. When I want to know how I can bless You\, You tell me. I must continually come to You to get the guidance and instruction I need. I must be sure of who You are\, then I can be sure of who I am. When I am confident\, I can be all You’ve created me to be… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Luke 13:24
DESCRIPTION:Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many\, I say unto you\, will seek to enter in\, and shall not be able. (KJV) \nWhat is your goal? \nFor many Christians\, the long-range purpose and ultimate goal is to get into heaven. What they do between the time they are saved and when they enter heaven varies. Some of them find purpose and some don’t. When you spend time\, in the presence of the Almighty\, you get His purpose for you. You will also understand the assignment He designed for you. During those precious moments\, you will realize the importance of how you live your life every day. Your daily choices are as important as fulfilling His call. Actually\, it is how you fulfill His call.  \nPsalm 16:11 Because of you\, I know the path of life\, as I taste the fullness of joy in your presence. At your right side I experience divine pleasures forevermore! (TPT) \nTime in the Lord’s presence will remind you not to only think about you; what you need to do; and what is best for you. You should also be concerned about others.  \nPhilippians 2:3-4 Be free from pride-filled opinions\, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts\, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. 4 Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests. (TPT) \nSometimes it is tough to think about anyone else. It might be because you are\, or you have become\, consumed with living your life. It might be because you are doing what you believe would please God. You should want to do what pleases God. However\, the only way you can is to broaden your understanding of what “pleasing God” means. Read Romans 12:9-21. You will find pleasing God takes more than you thought.  \nColossians 1:10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord [displaying admirable character\, moral courage\, and personal integrity]\, to [fully] please Him in all things\, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God [with deeper faith\, clearer insight and fervent love for His precepts]. (AMP) \nIt is God’s will for all to come to know Him (2 Peter 3:9). In your efforts to please God\, shouldn’t your goal be to touch lives with the love of God? Shouldn’t you want the power of redemption\, deliverance and all that Jesus offers to be the foundation of what you communicate with your life? Those\, who have been assigned to you\, should see your life and desire salvation and a closer walk with God.  \n1 Thessalonians 2:13 And we also [especially] thank God continually for this\, that when you received the message of God [which you heard] from us\, you welcomed it not as the word of [mere] men\, but as it truly is\, the Word of God\, which is effectually at work in you who believe [exercising its superhuman power in those who adhere to and trust in and rely on it]. (AMPC) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I can remember hearing the statement\, “It’s not the means\, it’s the end.” I repent for accepting that statement as a way to live. You have taught me\, the means to the end is important as the end\, often more so. I want to live my life as an example of You. I want anyone who interacts with me to see You. If they are not saved\, I pray they will desire salvation. If they are saved\, I pray they will want to develop a closer walk with You. I don’t want to be so focused on heaven that I miss the assignments that will make me productive for You on earth. I know You have placed in me the desire to show Your love. Thank You for broadening my understanding and showing me how to do that. My life is not about me; it never was and it never will be. How can I say I love You\, Whom I have not seen and not take the time to show love to my brother and sister who I see every day? With every person I meet; I must show Your love. Thank You for making my goal clear… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:13
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:13 It is most important therefore to acquaint yourself with every aspect of God’s armor. You are fully fit to powerfully defeat any onslaught or contradiction on any day of confrontation\, triumphantly standing your ground. The days where the law of hardships\, annoyances and labor dictated your life are over! (TMB) \nDo you understand your weapons? \nTo make sure soldiers are confident in themselves and how to use their weapons\, the military implemented the weapons immersion program. It is used to pair a soldier with his/her weapon. Soldiers eat\, sleep and train with their weapons\, reinforcing the importance of the weapon(s) as well as increasing the skill level with them. The soldiers learn to break them down and put them back together again with speed and precision. They understand which weapon is more effective than the other\, depending on the situation.  \nYou need the same level of understanding with your weapons. Though you may not have realized it\, your heavenly Father\, with the help of the Holy Spirit\, has you in a spiritual weapons immersion program. He uses the trials of life and the temptations the enemy brings. As you fight this spiritual warfare\, if you are listening and obedient\, they train you at a deeper level about your weapons. You learn which one to use\, how to use them\, when to use them\, where to use them\, etc. One way to look at the armor is to see it in four separate areas: body\, mind\, and spirit and the connector.  \nThe body-pieces are the belt of truth and the shoes of peace.  \nThe body pieces help you fight against the enemy as you relate to others. You use them\, in accordance with the word\, as the Spirit leads you. The Holy Spirit prompts you to choose to use those weapons in your everyday life.  \n1 Corinthians 9:19\, 22b For although I am free in every way from anyone’s control\, I have made myself a bond servant to everyone\, so that I might gain the more [for Christ]. I have [in short] become all things to all men\, that I might by all means (at all costs and in any and every way) save some [by winning them to faith in Jesus Christ]. (AMPC) \nThe mind-pieces are the breastplate of righteousness and the shield of faith.  \nThe mind-pieces help you fight against the enemy as you relate to yourself. The battlefield is in the mind. The Holy Spirit reminds us to cast down every thought and imagination that exalts itself against what the word of God says. It does not matter what things look like. It only matters what the Bible says.  \n2 Corinthians 10:5 [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah\, the Anointed One) (AMPC) \nThe spirit-pieces are the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit\, which is the word of God.  \nThe spirit-pieces help you fight against the enemy as you relate to God. It does not matter if you choose them or not\, or if you believe them or not\, they are still available and true. Salvation is available\, not because of anything you did or will do\, it is available because of who God is and what Jesus did on the cross (Ephesians 2:8). God is His word (John 1:1). It does not change; the word is the same yesterday\, today and forevermore (Isaiah 40:8). It does not fail because He does not fail (Matthew 24:35). It is always true (Psalm 119:142).  \n1 John 2:3-6  And this is how we know [daily\, by experience] that we have come to know Him [to understand Him and be more deeply acquainted with Him]: if we habitually keep [focused on His precepts and obey] His commandments (teachings). 4 Whoever says\, “I have come to know Him\,” but does not habitually keep [focused on His precepts and obey] His commandments (teachings)\, is a liar\, and the truth [of the divine word] is not in him. 5 But whoever habitually keeps His word and obeys His precepts [and treasures His message in its entirety]\, in him the love of God has truly been perfected [it is completed and has reached maturity]. By this we know [for certain] that we are in Him: 6 whoever says he lives in Christ [that is\, whoever says he has accepted Him as God and Savior] ought [as a moral obligation] to walk and conduct himself just as He walked and conducted Himself. (AMP) \nThe connection piece is praying in the Spirit. \nThere are those who say praying in the Spirit is part of your weaponry. There are also those who say praying in the Spirit is not a part of your weaponry. I believe it is\, and it is the connector that makes the armor work.  \nWhen you put on each part of the armor\, you remain connected to God through prayer. You can prepare to fight every battle that comes your way. However\, the victory comes because you fight in faith. You build your faith by praying in the Spirit (Jude 1:20). In addition\, through prayer\, you understand what it means to fight in a way that is honorable to God. \nPhilippians 4:6-7 Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day\, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life\, 7 then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding\, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ. (TPT) \nYou will be in the spiritual weapons immersion program until Jesus returns. However\, until then\, you are always fully dressed in your armor\, and ready to do battle at any time.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I repent for all the times I used my weapons incorrectly. I know I often did more damage than good. I am sorry. Thank You for giving me a revelation about my weapons and requiring me to understand them. Thank You for prompting me and urging me\, by the Holy Spirit\, to learn to use them more effectively. Thank You for creating a spiritual weapons immersion program\, uniquely and specifically designed for me. You are teaching me which weapon You designed and suited for every task. When the enemy comes\, I want to choose the most effective weapon to do battle against him. I want to use the right weapon\, at the right time for me\, for one of my brothers and sisters in Christ\, and for someone who has yet to come to You. Keep me in a spiritual immersion program where I have put on my armor\, and I will not take it off again and I will increase my effectiveness for the kingdom… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:
