SUMMARY:2 Timothy 4:17
DESCRIPTION:2 Timothy 4:17 But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me\, so that through me the [Gospel] message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was delivered out of the jaws of the lion. (AMP) \nPsalms 144:2 My Steadfast Love and my Fortress\, my High Tower and my Deliverer\, my Shield and He in Whom I trust and take refuge\, Who subdues my people under me. (AMP) \nDo you have God’s guarantee? \nThere is a guarantee given to the righteous. You might ask\, what does it mean to be righteous? It denotes one who is holy in heart\, and observant of God’s divine commands in thought and in practice. It means you submit to God’s divine will\, without pause\, debate\, or negotiating. It means you are acceptable. Even in submission\, righteousness is not about what you have done\, it is what Jesus did. Isn’t it a wonderful thing that even if you don’t do your part\, righteousness remains available to you because of Jesus’ sacrifice? He did it all. \n2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us\, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (New King James Version NKJV) \nJesus made the way for you to give God glory with your life\, to put away all sin\, and to live in righteousness. \nRomans 3:22a This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son]. (Amplified Bible AMP) \nHe died for your guarantee of deliverance\, power\, and life eternal. All you have to do is follow His plan. \nRomans 10:9-10 And what is God’s “living message”? It is the revelation of faith for salvation\, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead\, you will experience salvation. 10 The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God—and then the mouth confesses\, resulting in salvation. (The Passion Translation TPT) \nHave you responded to the drawing of the Holy Spirit; accepted His invitation to salvation; and submitted yourself to God? If you answered yes\, you have His guarantee. \n2 Corinthians 1:21-22 It is God himself who makes us\, together with you\, sure of our life in union with Christ; it is God himself who has set us apart\, 22 who has placed his mark of ownership upon us\, and who has given us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the guarantee of all that he has in store for us. (Good News Translation GNT) \nBeing in right standing with the Lord (righteous) guarantees He will hear you. It also guarantees He will bring you out of whatever problem you are facing. \nGive God praise for He is Jehovah Tsidekenu [ja-hō-va tish-kā-new]  (The LORD our Righteousness). \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, because of Jesus\, I can ask You whatever I want. Whether or not You grant my request rests with You and if I have done what You require. I felt Your pull on my life and I accepted Your invitation to salvation. I live my life with one desire: to be completely submitted to You. There are days when I believe I make You proud. However\, there are other days when I am sure I don’t and I repent. The wonderful thing for me is that whether I think I have done well or I have not done well\, my place with You does not change. Thank You for being there as I continually ask You to cleanse my heart. Thank You for reminding me I am righteous because of what You did for me\, not because of those days when I think I made You proud. I have Your guarantee. I am acceptable. I know You are there to deliver me out of every situation. I have come to understand You base my right standing; my place in You\, on who You are and what Jesus did\, not on what I want or what I might do. Your guarantee does not mean I will not have problems. However\, it does promise You will solve them and bring me out. I can’t dictate what method You will use. I have to stand with my guarantee stamped in my heart and believe. This is the faith walk that I take every day. I accept whatever each day brings because You accepted me. You are Jehovah Tsidekenu\, my Righteousness…\n \nASK THE LORD WHAT HE WANTS TO SAY TO YOU ABOUT TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL AND JOURNAL IT HERE:

SUMMARY:Matthew 9:38
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest\, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. (KJV) \nPsalms 20:9 Save\, Lord: let the king hear us when we call. (KJV) \nAre you a laborer? \nWhether you know it or not\, if you are saved\, you are a laborer. \n1 Corinthians 3:8-9 He who plants and he who waters are one [in importance and esteem\, working toward the same purpose]; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God’s fellow workers [His servants working together]; you are God’s cultivated field [His garden\, His vineyard]\, God’s building. (Amplified Bible AMP) \nThis decree/commandment applies to every believer: \nMatthew 28:19-20 Go then and make disciples of all the nations\, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit\, 20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you\, and behold\, I am with you all the days (perpetually\, uniformly\, and on every occasion)\, to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be). ( Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \n\nYou are to witness to the world.\nYou are to pray for the salvation of the lost.\nAfter salvation\, you are to make disciples of the Lord.\nYou are to teach believers to observe all the things the Lord has commanded.\n\nFulfilling this commission is a battle all its own. The enemy is fighting furiously to take as many to hell as he can deceive. This is a spiritual battle\, and you need the Spirit of God to stand. \n1 Peter 5:8-9 Be well balanced (temperate\, sober of mind)\, be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours\, the devil\, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger]\, seeking someone to seize upon and devour. 9 Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted\, established\, strong\, immovable\, and determined]\, knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world. ( Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \nForce does not win the battle\, for the souls of the lost. You win it by living the life that says you are not afraid of death. If you look at the lost\, with the eyes of God\, you will see a soul; you won’t judge a sinner. \nZechariah 4:6  Then he answered and spake unto me\, saying\, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel\, saying\, Not by might\, nor by power\, but by my spirit\, saith the Lord of hosts. (KJV) \nIf you look at the lost\, with the eyes of God\, you will see a soul; you won’t judge a sinner. Because of your relationship with the Lord\, the “new-you” can be a blessing as you live on this earth. Your testimony will change the lives of others. As a laborer\, you cry out to the Lord for their salvation\, and He will save. He is Elohe Tishuathi [ē-lō-hē  tish-oo-ath-ī) (God of My Salvation) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, throughout my life\, I have always had great respect for evangelists. I never saw myself as one\, though. I’m willing to talk about You to anyone who asks. I repent for thinking that was enough. I am so sorry I thought I needed a title or permission. I got in my own way. I was reluctant\, concerned about being rejected\, and even a  little fearful. Thank You for correcting me. Waiting for someone to ask me\, it’s not enough. What if no one asks? I got out of my way. I am no longer reluctant. You told me not to concern myself with being rejected; I should concern myself with the souls of the lost. You reminded me You have not given me a spirit it of fear\, not even a little bit. Then You reminded me of what we used to say at church when we would go out canvassing. They will not seek; they must be sought. They will not come; they must be brought. They will not study; they must be taught. You have called me as a co-laborer with Christ. I have to witness as I go and as I live. My response\, to life’s questions\, has to be one that brings the direction and the attention to You. It’s Your command. I repent for thinking I should be a witness\, as if there is a choice. I am a witness. My life is speaking because someone is watching whether I realize it or not. I have to stay in Your presence\, and my life will speak of the God I serve. My life has to tell a dying world Elohe Tishuathi is here to save and You will hear them when they call…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:2 Corinthians 10:5
DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 10:5 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy[a] that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture\, like prisoners of war\, every thought[b] and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. (The Passion Translation TPT) \nIsaiah 26:3 He will keep you in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on him. (KJV) \nDo you really want peace? \nHave you ever said\, “I just want some peace.”? Sometimes life can be really hectic. You have problems to solve. You have children to attend to. You have church services to attend. You have ministries to lead. You have to go to work. The world has equated peace to “me time”. When you get your “me time”; do you really have peace? Or do you spend your “me time” thinking about the things you are not getting done or will have to do when this “me time” is over. \nJohn 16:33 “And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows\, but you must be courageous\, for I have conquered the world!” (The Passion Translation TPT) \nHow do you access and maintain the peace that God provides? How do you keep your mind on the Father continually? Though it may seem like it\, it’s not easier said than done. You just have to do it. \nThere is no set formula or 5\, 10\, or 15 step process  to seeking peace. You have to find what works for you. Here are some things you can do: \n\nDefine peace.\n\nThe first thought that may come to you is peace is where there is no fighting\, all is quiet and there is nothing you have to do. \nJohn 14:27 “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world\, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead\, be courageous! (The Passion Translation TPT) \n\nSeparate lies from the truth.\n\nOften when you are going through you allow the enemy to whisper in your ears. The worst-case scenario is what he brings. Destructive self-talk adds to the fears and rules your heart. \n2 Corinthians 10:5 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture\, like prisoners of war\, every thought[b] and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. (The Passion Translation TPT) \n\nStop trying to control everything\, surrender control to the Lord.\n\nAre you preventing your peace because you are trying to control the situation? You being in control is an illusion created by the enemy. You cannot and will not ever be in control\, only God is. \nPhilippians 4:6-7 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything\, but in every circumstance and in everything\, by prayer and petition (definite requests)\, with thanksgiving\, continue to make your wants known to God. 7 And God’s peace [shall be yours\, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ\, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is\, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \nYou have to run hard after peace. \nPsalms 34:14 Depart from evil\, and do good; seek peace\, and pursue it. (KJV) \nDecide you are going to keep your mind on God and do it. Evaluate your words and your deeds all day\, every day. Peace is available for you because you live continually in prayer and you praise Jehovah Shalom [ja-hō-va sha-lōm ]   (The LORD our Peace). \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I want peace; I never thought I had to pursue it. I just thought\, if I asked for peace\, You would give it to me. The reality is You’ve already given it to me. Now I have to get rid of the things in my life keeping me from accepting it. This is where the battle is\, in my actions\, words\, deeds\, and thoughts. I repent for allowing the enemy to keep me from running hard after the peace You provided for me. I repent for thinking if I did not have peace; it was someone else’s fault. Thank You for teaching me I have to pursue Your peace by rejecting thoughts that don’t speak of Your peace. I have to cast down the imaginations\, of the enemy and my own\, trying to exalt themselves above the knowledge of You. I have to praise You and always speak of Your goodness and Your glory. You know what’s best. I have to rest in You and look for Your hand in every situation. I have to stop trying to figure things out\, work things out and make things happen without You. Then I will have the peace that has always been available to me. I accept Your peace and I praise Your Holy Name…\n \nASK THE LORD WHAT HE WANTS TO SAY TO YOU ABOUT TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL AND JOURNAL IT HERE:

SUMMARY:Colossians 2:15
DESCRIPTION:Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers\, he made a shew of them openly\, triumphing over them in it. (KJV) \nPsalms 24:8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty\, the Lord mighty in battle. (KJV) \nDo you believe God can finish His work in you? \nHave you ever been told you would not fulfill your destiny? Have you ever felt like what God has for you is too lofty? Does it seem like it will not happen or maybe you misunderstood what God said? Do you think the human part of Jesus Christ had similar thoughts a time or two? Noah\, Moses\, Paul\, Martin Luther King\, Nelson Mandela\, and many others probably did as well. They all understood their walk was by faith and not by sight. The time came when the fulfillment of God’s vision for their lives put all the naysayers\, doubters and those who purposed to stand in the way of success to shame. \n1 Peter 3:14-16 Even if you should suffer for doing what is right\, you will receive a blessing. Don’t let them frighten you. Don’t be intimidated\, but exalt Him as Lord in your heart. Always be ready to offer a defense\, humbly and respectfully\, when someone asks why you live in hope. Keep your conscience clear so that those who ridicule your good conduct in the Anointed and say bad things about you will be put to shame. (The Voice \nTVT) \nPlease know\, God is the same yesterday\, today and forevermore. What He’s promised to do with and in your life\, He will do. \nPhilippians 1:6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing\, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return]\, developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \nNo one can stand in the way. God is not a respecter of persons. What He’s done for others\, He will do for you. Your success in this battle is not yours\, it’s the Lord’s. Though these seem like a list of religious slogans or nifty clichés you have heard over and over in your life\, they are still true. \n1 Peter 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while\, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor]\, Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus\, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be\, establish and ground you securely\, and strengthen\, and settle you. \nGive praise\, glory and honor as you pray to Elohei Ma’uzzi [ē-lō-hī  my-ū-zē] (The God of My Strength). The footprints in the sand belong to Him as He fights for\, with\, and through you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I know the enemy tosses this question in the ring and whispers it in my ear to gain ground in my life. I repent for giving it more than a second of thought. My flesh would cause me to spend more time because things may not be going the way I was expecting them to. Do I believe You can finish the work You’ve begun in me? Yes\, I believe You can. You are God and You can do all things. I gave the question some weight because I thought I had to know what Your completed work looked like on me. How would I know when I got to the completion point? Would it be when I accomplished my goals? Would it be when I accomplished what others said I should do? Would it be when I accomplished what I believed You directed me to do? I know You want my life transformed into Your image. What does Your image look like on me? It is never a matter of whether You can complete the transformation work You desire to do in me. I repent for making it a matter of how and when You will complete the work. I may not get knocked to my knees and blinded like Apostle Paul. I may not have a dream like Dr. King. There may not be fiery bush in my past\, my present\, or my future\, like Moses. I may not really be sure what Your completed work looks like for me. Heaven may be my only certainty about Your “expected end” for my life. However\, there are some things I do know and I am certain of\, You know what finished looks like in me; You have a plan for me; and You will keep working in me until it’s done. When You e finish\, I will be perfect and entire; I will want for nothing; and You will say\, “Well done”. I will not stop moving forward in You. I will continue to seek You and allow my life to unfold before my eyes. I thank You for fighting for me. Thank You for keeping me from straying from You\, in search of a goal I laid out. My prayer is for You to help me accept Your path\, wherever it leads\, knowing that You will finish because it’s Your will…\nFinished means I look like you \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Luke 6:48
DESCRIPTION:Luke 6:48 He is like a man which built an house\, and digged deep\, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose\, the stream beat vehemently upon that house\, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. (KJV) \nPsalms 61:2  From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee\, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (KJV) \nWho do you run to in time of trouble? \nDo you have friends in your life you call whenever something happens that hurts\, upsets\, or devastates you? There is a song that was sung in my church when I was little. The lyrics are: \nWhere do I go\, when there’s nobody else to turn to? Who do I talk to\, when nobody wants to listen? Who do I lean on\, when there’s no foundation stable? I go to the rock. I know He’s able. I go to the rock. I go to the rock of my salvation. I go to the stone that the builders rejected. I run to the mountain and the mountain stands by me. When the earth all around me is sinking sand. On Christ the solid rock I stand. When I need a shelter. When I need a friend\, I go to the rock. (I Go to The Rock\, Dottie Rambo) \nYou may want to call your friends\, however\, you need to call on the Lord. To get to the place where you call on the Lord first\, you must be diligent in your pursuit of Him. Here are some things you must do to seek Him and find Him. If you do these things\, He will bring them back to your memory in times of trouble. \n\nSpend worship and celebration time with the Lord\, don’t just go to Him when there is something wrong.\n\nHebrews 13:15 Through Him\, therefore\, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise\, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name. \n\nTalk to Him about His faithfulness; as you remind Him\, you will remind yourself.\n\nLamentations 3:22-23 How enduring is God’s loyal love; the Eternal has inexhaustible compassion. 23 Here they are\, every morning\, new!  Your faithfulness\, God\, is as broad as the day. (The Voice TVT) \n\nTell Him how you see Him in all of your circumstances\, especially the difficult ones.\n\nRomans 8:35a\, 38-39 For nothing in the universe has the power to diminish his love toward us. Troubles\, pressures\, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven’s love. What about persecutions\, deprivations\, dangers\, and death threats? No\, for they are all impotent to hinder omnipotent love\, 38 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death\, life’s troubles\, fallen angels\, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. 39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love\, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus\, the Anointed One! (The Passion Translation TPT) \n\nEstablish the habit of spending consistent\, dedicated time with God. You will keep your appointment with Him when times are good and continue to go to Him when things get tough.\n\nPsalm 119:148 My eyes anticipate the night watches and I awake before the call of the watchman\, \nThat I may meditate on Your word. (Amplified Bible AMP) \n\nPrayerfully read His Word. This time is in addition to the time you have set aside.\n\n2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God\, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed\, rightly dividing the word of truth. (KJV) \n\nYou are building a relationship\, and that takes sacrifice.\n\nMatthew 16:24-25 Then Jesus said to his disciples\, “If you truly want to follow me\, you should at once completely reject and disown your own life. And you must be willing to share my cross and experience it as your own\,[a] as you continually surrender to my ways. 25 For if you choose self-sacrifice and lose your lives for my glory\, you will continually discover true life. But if you choose to keep your lives for yourselves\, you will forfeit what you try to keep”. (The Passion Translation TPT) \nThe more you understand who God is; your expectations of God will be more accurate. As you make every attempt to keep your mind on God\, the days when you feel overwhelmed will be fewer and fewer. You will instinctively draw near to God and tell Him your troubles. \nPsalms 91:14-15 “If you’ll hold on to me for dear life\,” says God\, “I’ll get you out of any trouble. I’ll give you the best of care if you’ll only get to know and trust me. Call me and I’ll answer\, be at your side in bad times; I’ll rescue you\, then throw you a party”. (The Message) \nIsn’t it great to tell the Divine Problem Solver your problems? If you’re like me\, He will show you at what point you started working in your own strength and bring you back to center. He is an ever-present help. \nGive praise as you pray to Jehovah Nissi [ja-hō-va nee-see ] (The LORD our Banner). He gives you victory in battle. When the enemy comes in like a flood\, He raises a banner of His love over you and covers you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I am guilty of running to friends\, family\, mentor\, or pastor in the time of trouble. I repent because that was the wrong thing to do. I am sorry for insulting You. That I would ask anyone but You what I should do is immature on my part. Though I was grateful they were there\, often they simply could not help me. Sometimes they didn’t want to hear it because they have heard it all before or they were dealing with their own problems. Most times they didn’t have a solution for me\, just a listening ear. Father\, thank You for teaching me the minutes/hours I spent thinking about an issue or rehearsing a conversation\, did not make things better. You are Jehovah Nissi. I should and will come to the One who gives me victory. You have the solutions. You help me stand. Though storms of life will rage\, I have hope because You cover me and sustain me. The banner of Your power waves around me. My soul is anchored in You. No matter how dark a day has been or may be\, You are the light of my life. Even when the situations passes\, You will continue to sustain me because You are my Banner. It gives me great comfort…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:1 Timothy 4:10
DESCRIPTION:1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach\, because we trust in the living God\, who is the Saviour of all men\, specially of those that believe. (KJV) \nDeuteronomy 33:29 “How blessed you are\, O Israel! Who else is like you\, a people saved by the LORD? He is your protecting shield and your triumphant sword! Your enemies will cringe before you\, and you will stomp on their backs!” (KJV) \nAre you allowing the enemy to quiet your voice? \nYour responsibility\, to carry the gospel everywhere you go\, is your labor of love for the Lord. You carry the good news of Jesus in everything you do: your personality\, your stand on issues\, your willingness to stand up for what you believe in (even when you are standing alone)\, your refusal to go with the flow just because everyone else is doing it\, etc. The enemy will try to stop you and make you conform. One of his most useful weapons is rejection and criticism. \nJohn 15:18-19 If you find that the world despises you\, remember that before it despised you\, it first despised Me. 19 If you were a product of the world order\, then it would love you. But you are not a product of the world because I have taken you out of it\, and it despises you for that very reason. (The Voice TVT) \nThe devil will come against you with everything in his arsenal. How does he do it? \nJohn 10:10a  The thief does not come except to steal\, and to kill\, and to destroy. (New King James Version \nNKJV) \nWhat is his methodology? He will start at the outer circle of your life and make his way all the way to the inner circle\, using people to create circumstances and problems. It is not flesh and blood you are fighting against; it is spiritual wickedness manifesting in people who allow themselves\, knowingly or unknowingly\, to be used. Initially\, the damage won’t be as much because he is using people whose opinions don’t really matter to you: new acquaintances\, short-time associates\, long-lost relatives\, co-workers\, etc. As he makes his way to the inner circle\, he enlists the help of long-time friends\, mentor\, pastor\, husband\, wife\, and children. The hurt gets more and more painful the closer the person is to you. You tell yourself\, it’s one thing for an almost stranger to say or do something to you. It’s another thing when it’s your child\, your spouse\, or your friend from kindergarten. \n“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” -Victor Frank (Holocaust survivor\, neurologist\, psychiatrist) \nWhat intensifies the hurt you feel and causes you to back down? You take it personally. The Bible tells you\, nothing will by any means hurt you; but you have to believe it and choose your response. (Yes\, you choose how you will respond to any situation.) \nProverbs 19:11 Good sense and discretion make a man slow to anger\, And it is his honor and glory to overlook a transgression or an offense [without seeking revenge and harboring resentment]. (Amplified Bible \nAMP) \nMaybe you have not mastered that level of self-control yet\, or you do not have the strength\, on your own\, to stand up to criticism or rejection. Because God is He your way\, He will give you what you need to keep going. You will not stop because of the hurt and one day you will choose not to hurt. You are an example of the power of God\, in what you say\, in how you respond\, and in the love you share\, in spirit\, and in faith. \n2 Corinthians 12:9-10 But he answered me\, “My grace is always more than enough for you\, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses\, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. 10 So I’m not defeated by my weakness\, but delighted! For when I feel my weakness and endure mistreatment—when I’m surrounded with troubles on every side and face persecution because of my love for Christ—I am made yet stronger. For my weakness becomes a portal to God’s power. (The Passion Translation TPT) \nTake advantage of the opportunity to raise your voice on behalf of the Lord. As you pray\, ask Him to grant you the wisdom and grace to speak His truth by faith every day. He will not allow His word to return unto him void and He will cause it to accomplish His will in all that you think\, say\, and do. Take time to give Him praise now and forevermore because he is Jehovah Chereb [ja-hō-va cher-reb] (The LORD the Sword) and He is with you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather God\, I smile when I think about how much I didn’t really know about my Christian walk and what it would be like when I started. I also repent because I should have come to You. I smile because as I read the word and begin to spend time with You; I saw it was not a cakewalk. It wasn’t for the prophets of old. It wasn’t for Jesus. It wasn’t for the apostles. I also repent for complaining because I thought it should be easy for me. For some reason\, I thought things would always be great; I would always be happy; and there would never be any contention. That was just crazy. You taught me I needed to change my perspective on what it means to be a Christian. If I did\, I would walk with more power. You send me to speak to people\, churches\, and ministries on assignment. The enemy has an assignment also; to kill\, steal\, and destroy what You have placed in me. You are my sword. When he tells me what You have given me to say will not be heard; I’ll say it\, anyway. When he tells me I am being disregarded because of my temperament or tone; I’ll say it\, anyway. When he tells me I am being mistreated; I’ll say it\, anyway. When he tells me\, I will be alone; I’ll say it\, anyway. When he tells me to leave without completing my assignment\, I will not allow him to stop me from being a vessel You can use. You are my strength and my sword. You are Jehovah Chererb…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Romans 12:19
DESCRIPTION:Romans 12:19 Do not bother yourselves to get even\, dear ones. Do not let anger or irritation distract you; that which we have in common with one another (righteousness) must set the pace. Scripture confirms that the Lord himself is the revealer of righteousness. (TMB) \nPsalms 89:18 For the Lord is our defense; and the Holy One of Israel is our king. (KJV) \nAre you seeking to get revenge? \nRevenge is a practice for someone who is not mature in God. If you choose to feel hurt\, you will most probably forget the fight is not against flesh and blood. Your choice can sometimes reveal an enormous amount of pain\, which will cause you to lose your ability to think constructively. Your decision to “be hurt” can create a snowball effect that ends in more pain for you. The word of God is true. You can choose not to be hurt. \nLuke 10:19 Behold\, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions\, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you. (American Standard Version ASV) \nNothing means nothing. When you choose to feel hurt\, you also look for someone to blame. The enemy convinces you revenge will cause the person\, you blame for your “hurt\,” will feel the same hurt you feel or felt. He will make you think you can get even. The devil is a liar. In those times\, you must believe the word of God. \n1 Peter 3:9 And never return evil for evil or insult for insult [avoid scolding\, berating\, and any kind of abuse]\, but on the contrary\, give a blessing [pray for one another’s well-being\, contentment\, and protection]; for you have been called for this very purpose\, that you might inherit a blessing [from God that brings well-being\, happiness\, and protection]. (Amplified Bible AMP) \nHe will even tell you to ignore the word\, and Luke 10:19 does not apply to your current situation. He will try to assure you revenge will reduce or even make your pain go away. None of what the devil says is true. What actually happens is the desire for revenge pulls you into a vicious cycle of planning and plotting\, which results in you indulging your flesh and not obeying the Spirit of God living on the inside of you. \nProverbs 27:20 Just as Death and Destruction are never satisfied\, so human desire is never satisfied. (New Living Translation NLT) \nYou will never satisfy your flesh. You can’t. What you will do is keep trying to come up with something else to do. You will have wasted energy and time. All the while\, your heart is being darkened\, and your spirit is being drained. \nMatthew 6:22-23  “The eye is the lamp of the body; so if your eye is clear [spiritually perceptive]\, your whole body will be full of light [benefiting from God’s precepts]. 23 But if your eye is bad [spiritually blind]\, your whole body will be full of darkness [devoid of God’s precepts]. So if the [very] light inside you [your inner self\, your heart\, your conscience] is darkness\, how great and terrible is that darkness!” (Amplified Bible AMP) \nWhatever happened is over. Rehearsing it and playing it like a movie in your mind just causes you to relive the pain continuously. \nRomans 12:17-19 Never hold a grudge or try to get even\, but plan your life around the noblest way to benefit others. 18 Do your best to live as everybody’s friend.19 Beloved\, don’t be obsessed with taking revenge\, but leave that to God’s righteous justice. For the Scriptures say: “If you don’t take justice in your own hands\, I will release justice for you\,” says the Lord. (TPT) \nThe Lord will handle what happens for you and for them. As you pray\, He will provide answers and solutions\, and you will grow. You don’t have to defend yourself; just give praise to Jehovah Maginnenu [ja-hō-va mig-a-nū-nū] (The LORD Our Defense). \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I confess\, when I was young\, I wanted to get revenge. I would think about getting even with someone. Surprisingly enough\, because I spend a great deal of time thinking\, analyzing and rethinking\, I could never figure out something to do that actually made sense. I repent for the time I wasted. Thank You for revelation and guidance. I could never come up with anything because I am not You and whoever I wanted to get revenge on was not me. No one could or would not feel the way I felt. There was no need to try. You showed me if someone could feel the way I do about things\, there would be no need for revenge. They would not have done it. In addition to the time I spent plotting\, I wasted even more time trying to understand how to stop feeling what I felt. I would try to see if it was my fault. I would try to analyze my actions. I would rehearse the interaction in my mind to see if there was something I could’ve done differently. I thought that was the best thing to do as I prepared myself for the possibility of a next time or a next person. I did not want to do the same thing. The whole thing was exhausting. Also\, I had no guarantee that what I came up with would work. I repent for not spending that time with You and waiting in Your presence for what You wanted me to do . Thank You for stopping me and reminding me I have You. You let me know You use every experience to teach me. If I let You\, I will learn either what to do or what not to do. If I was in the wrong; I can ask for forgiveness\, and You will forgive me. If I wasn’t in the wrong; I can forgive whoever was. The point is\, You delivered me from being stuck in those moments\, then and now. Thank You! I am no longer tied to past situations\, stuff\, and junk. My heart is no longer heavy\, and my spirit is no longer drained. You are my defense. You will do what needs to be done\, and provide the recompense needed everytime…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Luke 11:1
DESCRIPTION:Luke 11:1 And it came to pass\, that\, as he was praying in a certain place\, when he ceased\, one of his disciples said unto him\, Lord\, teach us to pray\, as John also taught his disciples. (KJV) \nPsalms 4:1 Hear me when I call\, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me\, and hear my prayer. (KJV) \nHow do you approach the Lord? \nThere are many ways to pray. You can journal as you spend time with the Lord\, writing what He says. You can pray the scripture. You can pray alone or with a prayer partner. You can be still before the Lord and allow your mind to be clear. The disciples wanted to know how to approach God. They were asking Jesus to give them instruction on how to pray\, when to pray\, and what to pray for. They wanted Him to teach them what they should say. Because of Jesus’ death\, burial\, and resurrection\, you have a free path to the Lord. \nHebrews 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace\, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (New King James Version NKJV) \nAs you submit your requests to the Lord\, both for others and for yourself\, remember you are coming before your heavenly Father\, confiding in Him and trusting in His power and goodness. Please remember\, you are still approaching THE Almighty God. He is holy and does not look on sin. You can come\, not because of anything that you are doing or have done. You come because of faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. \nPhilippians 3:9 And be found in Him\, not having my own righteousness\, which is from the law\, but that which is through faith in Christ\, the righteousness which is from God by faith. (New King James Version NKJV) \nYou approach Him in prayer because you acknowledge God’s love and mercy. However\, do not ever forget His power and authority. \nNehemiah 1:5 And I said\, O Lord God of heaven\, the great and terrible God\, Who keeps covenant\, loving-kindness\, and mercy for those who love Him and keep His commandments. \n(Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \nGod wants us to come to Him just as Jesus did. He wants us to pray for ourselves and for others. As you humble your heart\, your prayers rise as a sweet-smelling incense that pleases Him. Don’t stop with prayer\, give Him praise. Bless the Lord for He is El Elyon [el el-yan]  (The Most High God). \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, though You are El Elyon\, I can come to You. You are listening every time I come to You when I’m in distress and when my loved ones are in distress. You show mercy. I know You hear my prayers. I trust You will answer them as You see fit. I repent when I allow my confidence to dictate how You should answer me. It is not my job to give You the solution as if I have some information You don’t have. You don’t have to figure it out. You were there before we got there. You don’t have to work things out; You have already worked them out. You know how things are going to work because You have a plan for my life. If I got to the place\, I am in because of Your plan or my free will; You have already resolved it. Jesus taught me how and when to come to You. He also taught me what to say. He even taught me my job is to believe I can ask You and know\, because of Him\, You hear me and will answer…\nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:James 4:3
DESCRIPTION:James 4:3 You have asked\, but God seems reluctant to give it to you\, you may say. But when your motivation is to get something just so that you can squander it on yourself\, you are doing it all wrong! (TMB) \nPsalms 96:13 Before the Lord: for he cometh\, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness\, and the people with his truth. (KJV) \nAre you asking amiss? \nAre there times when you ask God for something in particular that you want? If you are being honest with yourself\, are all of your requests purely for the advancement of the kingdom? Do you sometimes make a request to fulfill the lust of your flesh\, the lust of your eyes\, or pride in your life? Now\, you might be able to justify to yourself the possibility that God could get some glory. You may even have a conversation with your friends\, your prayer partner\, your family members\, etc. and convince them it would be such a blessing. However\, you know the real reason for the request. God also knows what is in your heart. He will judge every request on its merit. There is no sense in trying to make your request into something other than what it is. Rather than trying to pretty up your wish\, know that God has already given you permission to ask for whatever you want. \nPhilippians 4:6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything\, but in every circumstance and in everything\, by prayer and petition (definite requests)\, with thanksgiving\, continue to make your wants known to God. (Amplified Bible AMP) \nYes\, you can ask what you will. However\, you have to keep in mind there is a part you play in making your requests. Your request should be what God wants for you. If you abide in the Lord\, the requests you make will glorify Him. \nJohn 15:7 If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is\, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart]\, ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you. (Amplified Bible AMP) \nWhen you abide in Him\, you spend time learning what He wants. You allow Him to show you what is best for you\, even if it is contrary to what you want. Your desires stop being what gratifies your flesh and they become what edifies your spirit. \nPsalms 37:4 Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh\, and he will give you what you desire the most. (The Passion Translation TPT) \nYou don’t have to ask amiss. God has given you the path to prayers that reverence Him. \n1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask\, we receive of him\, because we keep his commandments\, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. (KJV) \nHonor your promise when you accepted the gift of salvation. You confessed Him as Lord. Lord means He takes preeminence over your life\, over your decisions and over your desires. You no longer belong to you. Everything you do and all you obtain is to be used for the glory of God. As you continue your walk with the Lord\, you may make a selfish request now and again. The Holy Spirit will convict you\, not condemn you\, and your prayers will change. \nGive God praise because He is Jehovah–Adon [ja-hō-va a-dōn ]  (LORD of lords our judge) and He will help you purify your requests. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather God\, I am amused with myself sometimes. I am sure sometimes You are and other times You are not. You have given me the ability to influence; I know it. I know it’s possible for me to have a convincing conversation with almost anyone. I can present my prayer request in such a way; they will believe and agree with me about the magnitude of the blessing. I cannot convince You. I repent for trying to. Even as I am writing\, I have such conviction. You see what was in my heart\, though others may not. I am forever grateful You say ‘no’ to fleshly requests. You taught me and continue to teach me; all my ideas are not spiritual ones. You have shown me when my requests don’t honor You\, they will not turn out the way I envisioned and most probably will cause me pain. Often I don’t take into consideration the consequences of my requests. You showed me I can’t because I don’t have all the parts to the picture. Because I don’t have enough information\, I often asked for the wrong thing and for the wrong reason. As You were teaching me\, I know You will grant some of my requests. I also know You will not do what I requested because You know what’s best. Thank You for judging every petition and requiring me to ask what the ultimate goal for the desire is\, why I want it\, and who will benefit from it.? If I see myself at the end of my request\, it is not what You would have for me. I need to make requests that honor and glorify You\, the Almighty\, Most High God…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:2 Corinthians 1:3
DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ\, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort\, (NKJV) \nPsalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (KJV) \nAre you worrying or praying? \nThere can be times in your life when there’s a lot going on. Your cares may pull your focus\, or you may be so exhausted you can barely muster the energy to pray. This is the time when you need to pray the most. You should encourage yourself to pray because the Lord wants to hear from you; and if you don’t find rest and comfort in His presence\, you will worry. \nPsalm 46:1 God\, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you. (The Passion Translation TPT) \nWhy do you worry? Because: \n\nYou have forgotten; you don’t have to be uncertain about your future (Jeremiah 29:11).\nYou don’t know how to wait (Isaiah 40:31).\nYou think you have to do something instead of giving full control to the Lord (Philippians 4:6–7).\nYou are allowing your thoughts to control you instead of the other way around (2 Corinthians 10:5).\n\nThe Lord calls to you and tells you\, come and speak freely. You do not have to fear your request is unimportant. You don’t have to worry about your request being rejected. \nSong of Solomon 2:14 [So I went with him\, and when we were climbing the rocky steps up the hillside\, my beloved shepherd said to me] O my dove\, [while you are here] in the seclusion of the clefts in the solid rock\, in the sheltered and secret place of the cliff\, let me see your face\, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet\, and your face is lovely. (Amplified Bible AMP) \nThe sound of pure and sincere prayer is sweet and acceptable to God. You will be like a child who raises his arms for the love and comfort of his daddy. Whatever a father could give to his child\, God can and does give more. \nMatthew 7:11 If ye then\, being evil\, know how to give good gifts unto your children\, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? (KJV) \nHe created you\, and He knows exactly what you need. There is nothing too hard for Him. If you are worrying you’re not praying. If you are praying; you don’t have to worry. You are taking your problems to El Shaddai [el- sha-di] (God almighty\, the many breasted one). He completely nourishes\, satisfies\, and supplies you as a mother would her child. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, You are Elohim\, my Creator and my God. I can make any request to You. Many times\, I have said I directly model how I relate to You after how I relate to my Dad. I love him\, and I know he loves me. People would always say he spoiled me. It is debatable whether or not that is completely true. I just know there were times when I needed him\, and he was there for me as much as he could be. When he thought I was wrong; he did what he thought was best. When he thought I was right; he cheered me on. After I grew up and married; he was still there. Father\, You showed me that same way I would go to him\, I should come to You. As limited as my earthly Dad was; he showed me love. I repent for limiting Your love to the love my Dad gave me. You can and You do show me infinitely more love because of Your immeasurable power and wisdom and because You are love. I will remember that when my thoughts try to make me anxious again. I will come to You about anything. I will crawl into Your lap\, just like I have done time and time again with my earthly Dad\, lay my head on Your chest and tell You all about it. Thank You for being El Shaddai…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Jude 25
DESCRIPTION:Jude 25  to the only God our Savior\, through our Lord Jesus Christ\, be endless glory and majesty\, great power and authority—from before he created time\, now\, and throughout all the ages of eternity. Amen! (TPT) \nPsalms 48:14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death. (KJV) \nAre you constantly talking to God? \nIsaiah 9:6 For a child will be born to us\, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor\, Mighty God\, Eternal Father\, Prince of Peace. (New American Standard Bible NASB) \nGod is your Wonderful Counselor; He is there to listen to every concern you have and give you guidance. He is Almighty; there is nothing He cannot do. He is your Eternal Father; the Daddy you call on like a little child running to the only one that makes you feel safe. He is the Prince of Peace; The One who can calm you no matter what is going on in your life. Why wouldn’t you need to talk to God\, constantly? \nThe average adult\, according to the USA Today\, makes about 35\,000 decisions each day. Most of them rather simple ones. Where will I sit\, what will I have to eat at each feeding\, how much will I pay\, am I thirsty\, should I call to let them know I’m late. Along with driving a car and what lane to be in\, looking for other drivers\, etc. (John Reitmeier) \nBecause you are continually making choices\, both instinctively and because of intense thought\, it makes sense you would pray without ceasing. You want to consult God in all things. \nProverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him\, and he shall direct thy paths. (KJV) \nRealistically\, you cannot spend every waking moment with your head bowed and your eyes-closed in prayer. The goal here is to have an attitude of prayer continuously. \n\nLive your life aware of God; what He requires; what He desires (Romans 10:8\, Psalm 119:11).\nKeep in mind His love for you is unchangeable (James 1:17\, Hebrews 13:8).\nStand on the fact that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6\, Matthew 28:20).\nSubmit all your decisions to Him\, not just the major decisions you have to make (Psalm 37:5\, Isaiah 30:21).\nAccept the path God has laid out for your life. He knows what is best (Matthew 6:8\, Romans 8:26).\nLive your life trusting what the word says and don’t doubt (James 1:5-7\, Matthew 21:21).\nDon’t give up on the Lord\, no matter what is looks like (Luke 18:1-8\, 1Thessalonians 5:17\, Acts 16:23-25).\nLive your life motivated by the right thing (1Kings 3:6-9\, Galatians 6:9).\nDesire for God’s will to be done\, not yours (Matthew 26:39\, Matthew 6:10).\nKeep the commandments of God\, obey (John 14:15\, 1John 3:22).\nLive a life of thanksgiving (1 Thessalonians 5:18\, Hebrews 13:15\, Ephesians 5:20).\n\nIf you make the adjustments necessary to have an attitude of prayer at all times\, you will live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. Meditate on Proverbs 3:5-6 again. If all does not mean all for you\, how much of the time will you acknowledge God? Start some place; as you continue to seek him more and more\, you will live in a higher level of spiritual awareness. He is with you. Your thoughts and actions are His concern; they involve and engage Him actively. More importantly\, He will be your guide when you are making decisions. \nDeuteronomy 4:29 But if from there you will seek (inquire for and require as necessity) the Lord your God\, you will find Him if you [truly] seek Him with all your heart [and mind] and soul and life. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \nHere is another thing to remember: He is Lord when you pray for His guidance and when you don’t; when you do what He says and when you don’t. He is everlasting. He is always there. You praise God because He is Elohenu Olam [el-a-hū-nū  ō-lim]  (Your Everlasting God). \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, it never occurred to me I made thousands of decisions every day. When I realized I did\, I had to repent because I know I was not acknowledging You in all of them. In all my ways\, means in every decision I make. Do You really care what dress I wear? You have shown me You care about anything and everything concerning me. Contrary to what I might have thought\, the answer to my question is\, yes. Does that mean I should spend hours in prayer to see what I am supposed to wear to work tomorrow? I don’t think so. If I am wrong\, please show me. What I do know is: every detail of my life concerns You\, what I consider to be the minor issues as well as what I consider to be the most important problem. The choice that is insignificant or significant; could have repercussions I do not know of. I repent for not acknowledging You in every decision I make. I purpose to from now on. I don’t want to be flaky in how I acknowledge You; yet I want You to be in my thoughts continuously. I want You to be my confidant\, my guide\, my conscious\, my border\, and my doorkeeper. I need You to be whatever word in any language that describes the everlasting God Who makes sure I make the right choices. I don’t have to want You to be Elohenu Olam\, all I have to do is allow You to…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 6:7
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray\, use not vain repetitions\, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. (KJV) \nDeuteronomy 10:17 For the Lord your God is God of gods\, and Lord of lords\, a great God\, a mighty\, and a terrible\, which regardeth not persons\, nor taketh reward: (KJV) \nDo you know God is listening to you when you pray? \nWhen there is altar call at church\, are you willing for someone other than the pastor to pray for you? If the pastor is not available\, and several other altar workers are standing there to pray\, do you have a preference? If so\, why? Do you think one person’s prayer will get through\, and someone else’s won’t. Do you think one elder has a greater connection to God than another? Have you heard the deacon pray the same prayer\, often enough\, you could recite it with him? None of that matters because God does not have a pecking order. \nActs 10:34-35 Peter fairly exploded with his good news: “It’s God’s own truth\, nothing could be plainer: God plays no favorites! It makes no difference who you are or where you’re from—if you want God and are ready to do as he says\, the door is open”. (The Message MSG) \nThe truth is\, God is there\, listening for your prayers. \nPsalm 34:15 The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to their cry. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \nGod answers your prayers based on the condition of your heart… \nMatthew 9:29 Then He touched their eyes\, saying\, “According to your faith let it be to you.” (NKJV) \n…and what aligns with His will and His plan. \nProverbs 19:21 A person may have many ideas concerning God’s plan for his life\, but only the designs of God’s purpose will succeed in the end. (The Passion Translation TPT) \nThe Bible says God looks on the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). He hears you and He can see what is in your heart\, no matter who is praying for you or if you go to Him on your own. He is not looking for a loud prayer or a perfect prayer. God desires your prayer to come from an intense desire and unwavering faith to see His will manifested in your life. \nGive God praise because He is Elohei Haelohim [ē-lō-hī  hī-lō-him] (The God of gods). \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I can remember many times when I wanted the pastor to pray for me. I had respect for the pastor because\, after all\, “the pastor\,” is Your chosen one. The thought never occurred to me it wasn’t the person. I am sorry for the creating a pecking order that I thought You adhered to. I repent for making it someone else’s responsibility to pray for me. You hear the cries of Your people. I fall into the category of “Your People”. I am to live in a way that shows the degree or the intensity of my relationship with You. I am Your child\, and You hear all my prayers. You teach me to come to You because You are my God; You love me\, and You want what’s best for me. I can’t have faith in someone else. My faith must be in You. I remember when I was a child. Because I was the baby\, my sisters would tell me to ask Dad or Mom for what they wanted. They thought I could get a “yes” when they would get a “no.” I can’t get someone else to ask for me because I think You will cater to them or I think You will respond to them and not me. There is no person who has better words to say; no matter how long they have been walking with You or how You use them. You are the same God for me as You are for them. If I am humble and sincere in the request\, I make to You; You hear me. According to Your will\, You’ll answer…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 21:13
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 21:13 And said unto them\, It is written\, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. (KJV) \nGenesis 35:7 And he built there an altar\, and called the place El-beth-el: because there God appeared unto him\, when he fled from the face of his brother. (KJV) \nWhy do you fellowship with other believers? \nYour fellowship may be in a virtual meeting\, on a conference call\, or in a building. You may have many reasons for participating; out of duty or obligation\, to get your needs met\, to feel good\, to be inspired\, because you have a function to perform during the service you are attending\, etc. Because the rules\, regulations\, environment\, and etiquette for Christian fellowship have become more causal\, believers often use it as a networking venue. If asked\, would you say you are going to meet with the Lord or “Meet Up”? Do you have an expectation to encounter the presence of God? Do you anticipate hearing the Lord speak to you? Do you look for God to transform your life\, or do you come and leave the same? Do you really want to be changed or do you just want to be able to say you fellowshipped today? Here are some reasons for you to consider. \n\nTo learn and better understand Scripture. It increases your growth on your walk of faith.\n\nColossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ live in you richly\, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the Scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the Psalms\, and with festive praises\, and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit\, so sing to God with all your hearts! (The Passion Translation TPT) \n\nTo get wise counsel.\n\nProverbs 11:14 Where there is no [wise\, intelligent] guidance\, the people fall [and go off course like a ship without a helm]\, But in the abundance of [wise and godly] counselors there is victory. (Amplified Bible AMP) \n\nTo create the right atmosphere for the presence of your Lord.\n\nMatthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered in My name [meeting together as My followers]\, I am there among them.” (Amplified Bible AMP) \n\nTo share with\, encourage\, teach\, love\, help\, etc. other believers.\n\nHebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider and give attentive\, continuous care to watching over one another\, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities\, 25 Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers]\, as is the habit of some people\, but admonishing (warning\, urging\, and encouraging) one another\, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \n\nTo keep from being isolated and becoming easy prey.\n\nProverbs 18:1 He who [willfully] separates himself [from God and man] seeks his own desire\, \nHe quarrels against all sound wisdom. (Amplified Bible AMP) \nDon’t allow your time to be some sort of non-spiritual activity where you get a temporary lift until the next time. Jacob built an altar (Genesis 35:7) because he had an experience with the Lord that changed his life forever. In fellowship with believers\, you can have the same type of transformation. The next time you decide to take part in a time of fellowship with other believers\, prepare your heart. \nGive God praise and ask Him to meet you because He is Ruach Elohim [roo-auk el- ō-hēm] (The Spirit of God) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, in Your infinite wisdom\, You have taught us that coming together to fellowship with believers does not have to happen in a building. I have many reasons for participating in fellowship. Sometimes I have to sing\, intercede\, or someone asked me to preach the word. There are times when I have had a responsibility in the service as an altar worker\, a greeter\, or usher. Anyone could ask me why I was taking part in fellowship or going to church. My answer would have been one of those reasons. I never got up and said I’m going to the house of prayer to meet the Lord; I’m going for my life to be transformed; I’m going because I expect to be changed and never be the same. I repent because those should have been my answer. I give You praise\, glory\, and honor because they are my answer now. I want to go to fellowship to meet You with my brothers and sisters. I want You to change me every time. Add something that I don’t have\, develop something that is weak\, remove something that is not like You. When I am in Your presence\, I never want my life to remain the same. If I am changed every time I am in fellowship with other believers; I will see a manifestation of Your glory in my life and as I live on this earth. Your presence\, fortified by other believers\, will ultimately transform me into the person You ordained for me to be…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ecclesiastes 5:2
DESCRIPTION:Ecclesiastes 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth\, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter anything before God: for God is in heaven\, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. (KJV) \nIsaiah 40:25 To whom then will ye liken me\, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. (KJV) \nAre you mindful of what you say to God? \nYou have the liberty to talk to God. Do you sometimes forget that you’re actually talking “to God”? Or do you say things as if you were talking to a friend or relative? You can do anything you want. However\, not everything you do is beneficial. You can say whatever you want\, again\, not everything you say is edifying. \n1 Corinthians 10:23 All things are legitimate [permissible—and we are free to do anything we please]\, but not all things are helpful (expedient\, profitable\, and wholesome). All things are legitimate\, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life]. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \nWithout knowing it\, you may say disrespectful and dishonorable things to God. Here are some examples: \nYou say:  If you get me out of this mess\, I’ll never do this again. \nEcclesiastes 5:4-5 If you make a promise to God\, do not be slow to keep it; for He takes no pleasure in fools. So do what you have promised. 5 In fact\, it would be better not to make a vow in the first place than to make it and not fulfill it. (The Voice TVT) \nGod is saying: I know you. I know if you really mean what you are promising. Also\, please keep in mind\, I know if you are going to keep this promise. \n**** \nYou say:  I do everything I can for others. It is not the same for me. It’s as if nobody loves me. \nRomans 5:7-8 Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to willingly give his life even for an upright man\, though perhaps for a good man [one who is noble and selfless and worthy] someone might even dare to die. 8 But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us\, by the fact that while we were still sinners\, Christ died for us. (Amplified Bible AMP) \nGod is saying: My love for you isn’t enough because you don’t spend enough time with Me to get to know Me and experience My love. If you did\, you would see that I love you more than you can even contain. \n**** \nYou say: At the end of another day\, and I’m all alone. I want someone to share my life with. The people in my life don’t understand me. \nHebrews 13:5b-6a For He [God] Himself has said\, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not\, [I will] not\, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] 6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say\, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \nGod is saying: Though you may feel alone\, you are not. Sit down with Me right now\, quiet your mind. Take out your journal and tell Me what you wanted to share with the people in your life. Then\, and this is very important\, wait until I speak to you about all you have shared. I understand you. \n**** \nYou say: I purchase clothes; I buy makeup\, I even learn how to put it all together and still I don’t feel beautiful. When I look in the mirror\, I don’t like what I see. \nPsalm 139:13-15 For You shaped me\, inside and out. You knitted me together in my mother’s womb long before I took my first breath. 14 I will offer You my grateful heart\, for I am Your unique creation\, filled with wonder and awe. You have approached even the smallest details with excellence; Your works are wonderful; I carry this knowledge deep within my soul. 15 You see all things; nothing about me was hidden from You As I took shape in secret\, carefully crafted in the heart of the earth before I was born from its womb. (The Voice TVT) \nGod is saying: If you looked at yourself through My eyes\, you would change what you see and what you say. I made you in My image. You are comparing yourself to the wrong things. It is your human nature that causes you to feel this way. I want you to live in the divine nature I created you in. I want you to look in the mirror and see Me. \n**** \nYou say: There are so many things I have done in my life. How could God forgive me? I am unforgivable. \nPsalm 103:10-12 Thankfully\, God does not punish us for our sins and depravity as we deserve.     In His mercy\, He tempers justice with peace. 11 Measure how high heaven is above the earth; God’s wide\, loving\, kind heart is greater for those who revere Him. 12 You see\, God takes all our crimes—our seemingly inexhaustible sins—and removes them. As far as east is from the west\, He removes them from us. (The Voice TVT) \nGod is saying: I forgave you before you sinned. I forgave you before you were even born. I am not you. I don’t handle things how you do. There are two things I want you to remember. One\, you don’t think you are forgivable because you harbor unforgiveness in your heart. I sent my son to die for your sins and the sins of those you are carrying a grudge against. Accept what Jesus did for you. Two\, if you set others free\, you can set yourself free. If you accept all of what Jesus did for you\, you will live without guilt and shame. \n**** \nYou say: I have been told often enough that I did not lie up to my potential. I made some choices that caused people to look down on me. I keep messing up. I take a step forward and then something happens\, and I am pushed two steps back. I am just not worth anything. \n1 John 3:1-2 Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that he has lavished on us! He has called us and made us his very own beloved children. The reason the world doesn’t recognize who we are is that they didn’t recognize him. 2 Beloved\, we are God’s children right now; however\, it is not yet apparent what we will become. But we do know that when it is finally made visible\, we will be just like him\, for we will see him as he truly is. (The Passion Translation TPT) \nGod is saying: I don’t determine value the way you do\, nor the way the world does. I chose you as My child. You are priceless. You are heir to my throne. Look to Me to tell you what your worth is. I created you with purpose and a specific plan. Spend time with me and you will see in unfold. Stop determining your value by what you do. Determine your value by what you allow Me to do through you. \n**** \nGod is a spirit\, the Holy Spirit. He is not a human being. He does not respond to things the way human beings do (so grateful He does not). It is important to remember He is omniscient\, omnipresent and all-powerful. You must realize\, when you pray prayers out of emotion and insincerity\, you are not helping yourself. You don’t have to use vain repetitions or a multitude of words in prayer. It is not a sales pitch; you are talking to the creator of the universe. You have been granted audience with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords; keep in mind He is Kadosh [ kā-dosh] (The Holy One). Reflect on who He is and spend more of your prayer time listening rather than talking. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather God\, there have been times when I was told\, “You better check yourself before You wreck yourself.”  Whoever I was talking to felt I was out of order because of who they were. I have also been guilty of saying things to You without keeping in mind who I was talking to and I repent for not giving You the honor You are due. When I got out of line\, my father used to ask me\, “Who do you think you are talking to?” You deserve that same respect and more. You are Holy. I temper my conversation when I’m talking to my pastor or to the boss. Though I can ask You anything I want; I need to remember You are GOD. If I got the opportunity to speak to the president; I wouldn’t say any ole thing. I will give You greater respect. I can tell You what I want without disrespecting Your Holiness and the Glory of who You are. I can ask You for what I need without asking You to a pity party that compromises my understanding of Your Majesty. I don’t have the right to try to handle You\, order You around\, or demand anything from You. It is enough for me to say thank You for what You have already done. I will spend less of my time talking and more of my time listening. Thank You for giving me a continual audience with You. You are the King of Glory\, the Holy One and I will honor You…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 6:9-13
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 6:9-13 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven\, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come\, Thy will be done in earth\, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts\, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation\, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom\, and the power\, and the glory\, for ever. Amen. (KJV) \nPsalms 18:2 The Lord is my rock\, and my fortress\, and my deliverer; my God\, my strength\, in whom I will trust; my buckler\, and the horn of my salvation\, and my high tower. (KJV) \nHow do you pray? \nThe Lord’s prayer (Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:1-4) is the model Jesus gave for prayer. A.C.T.S. is an easy way to remember the key elements of prayer. It’s simply prayer in four parts: \nA-Adoration \nTell God how much you appreciate Him. Express your love for Him. Praise His power and majesty. \n\n1 Chronicles 29:11 Yours\, O Lord\, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty\, for all that is in the heavens and the earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom\, O Lord\, and Yours it is to be exalted as Head over all. (AMPC)\nJude 25 To the one only God\, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord\, be glory (splendor)\, majesty\, might and dominion\, and power and authority\, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it). (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC)\n\nC-Confession \nTell Him where you have fallen short. Be specific. Thank Him for the forgiveness you have in Christ\, and ask for help and strength to turn away from future temptations. \n\nProverbs 28:13 He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper\, But whoever confesses and turns away from his sins will find compassion and mercy. (Amplified Bible AMP)\n1 John 1:9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins\, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose\, thought\, and action]. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC)\n\nT-Thanksgiving \nYou have plenty of reasons to be thankful. Thank God for His love\, His faithfulness\, His patience. Take the time to think about what God has done and then take the time to thank Him. \n\nPsalm 107:1 O give thanks unto the Lord\, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. (KJV)\n1 Thessalonians 5:18 Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be\, be thankful and give thanks]\, for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC)\n\nS-Supplication \nTell God what you want\, no matter how small it seems to you. \n\nPsalm 116:1-2 I love the Lord\, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. 2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me\, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. (KJV)\nPhilippians 4:6-7 Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day\, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life\, 7 then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding\, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ. (The Passion Translation TPT)\n\nThere is no one greater to talk about your life with. In prayer you will find a confidant\, a teacher\, refuge\, strength\, a burden bearer and much more. He is Elohim Bashamayim [el- ō-hēm bash-a-may-him] (God in Heaven). You can run to Your Father\, Who is in heaven above\, and be safe. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, for a long time\, I didn’t think that it should excite me to talk to You. I knew I should talk to You. You also taught me I should want to talk to You. You never stop teaching me and now I am excited to talk to You. When I have good news\, I can’t wait to tell my friends and loved ones. It never occurred to me to come to You with the same enthusiasm. I repent for taking You for granted. I repent for not running to You with the good news like I do when the news is bad. I would not have any news at all if it were not for You. Now I come to thank You because I recognize whatever happened would never have happened without You. I also come because I am excited to hear what You have to say. I am motivated in the time I spend with You. I can remember\, years ago\, I wrote my prayers\, and I used the A.C.T.S. model to talk to You. It was important for me to follow the model\, step by step. I wanted to make sure I approached You the right way\, and I said the right things to You. It was the answer Jesus gave the disciples when they asked Him to teach them to pray; so\, it was the one for me. Though I still use this model\, in some form\, I have come to know prayer does not have to be regimented. Prayer is having a conversation with You. I understand we’re not peers and I’m glad about it. I come to You\, honoring You for Your Majesty\, confessing all the things I’ve done\, asking for forgiveness when needed\, thanking You for Your blessings\, and sharing my life. The most important thing I do is listen to You for guidance. When I both listen and obey\, I can continue to honor You. I thank You for Your grace and Your mercy. Please continue to draw me closer to You\, my Father Who art in Heaven…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Romans 10:14
DESCRIPTION:Romans 10:14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? (NLT) \nExodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses\, I AM THAT I AM: and he said\, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel\, I AM hath sent me unto you. (KJV) \nAre you fulfilling the Great Commission? \nDo you ever talk to people who seem to have strayed from God or do not know God at all? Do you wonder what to say? You can give reasons for not witnessing. Is that really what you want to do. You want to find your motivation to witness. Here are some things to consider: \n\nSomeone loved you enough to tell you about Jesus. There is someone waiting for you to do the same for them.\n\nActs 1:8 But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea\, and Samaria\, and even to the ends of the earth.” (Amplified Bible AMP) \n\nIt’s not about you; whether you are eloquent or are not; what your socioeconomic status is; nor what your profession is. There are those who need to hear about Jesus who you can relate to.\n\n1 Corinthians 2:1-2\, 4 My brothers and sisters\, I did not pose as an expert with all the answers. I did not pretend to explain the mystery of God with eloquent speech and human wisdom. 2 I claimed to know nothing with certainty other than the reality that Jesus is the Anointed One\, the Liberating King\, who was crucified on our behalf. 4 The sermons I preached were not delivered with the kind of persuasive elegance some have come to expect\, but they were effective because I relied on God’s Spirit to demonstrate God’s power. (The Voice TVT) \n\nYour job is to preach the gospel (present the birth\, death\, burial\, and resurrection of Jesus Christ). You don’t have to convince someone; you just need to witness to them.\n\nActs 20:24 But I do not consider my life as something of value or dear to me\, so that I may [with joy] finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus\, to testify faithfully of the good news of God’s [precious\, undeserved] grace [which makes us free of the guilt of sin and grants us eternal life]. \n\nThe Father will work through you.\n\nEphesians 3:20 Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request\, your most unbelievable dream\, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all\, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. (The Passion Translation TPT) \nSpend time in prayer\, listening for the Lord to show you how to let “your” light shine. \nMatthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy\, noble\, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \nIf you do\, someone will recognize the presence of God in you\, see how the Lord has changed you\, and want the same for themselves. \nActs 16:28-30 But Paul shouted\, saying\, “Do not hurt yourself\, we are all here!” 29 Then the jailer called for torches and rushed in\, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas\, 30 and after he brought them out [of the inner prison]\, he said\, “Sirs\, what must I do to be saved?” (Amplified Bible AMP) \nYour approach may differ from someone else’s and that’s okay. \n1 Corinthians 3:6-7 I have planted\, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing\, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. (KJV) \nYou have the Holy Spirit as your guide. Your testimony is all the power needed. \nRevelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb\, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (KJV) \nThe greatest weapon in your arsenal is you are sent by Ehyeh asher Ehyeh [ā-ya a-ser ā-ya] (The eternal\, all-sufficient God). He is able to meet every need\, yours and theirs. Whether you are the one who is planting\, or the one who is watering\, God will get the increase. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, when I was younger\, I thought the Great Commission was for those who were a part of the fivefold ministry gift only. I repent for every opportunity I passed on because I disqualified myself. Thank You for teaching me. Now I know every believer is to be a witness to who You are. I am to speak to those I meet and introduce them to a God who can save them from a life of sin and death. I know You will give me the words to say at the appointed time because Your word says You will. I know I don’t have to be eloquent. I don’t need finesse or panache. I am not required to make them understand. All I need is Your love in my heart and my testimony on my lips. Your word says they overcame by the word of their testimony. As I share my life\, people will see where I was and appreciate where I am today. Then they will know You can do the same for them. You are an all-sufficient God. Everything we all need\, we can find in You. Help me live my life seeing Your new mercies every day. I pray my testimony will keep being rewritten because You continue to transform me. I pray what You have done in my life is evident in my talk and in my walk and You get the glory for it…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 18:20
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name\, there am I in the midst of them. (KJV) \nJoshua 3:10 And Joshua said\, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you\, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites\, and the Hittites\, and the Hivites\, and the Perizzites\, and the Girgashites\, and the Amorites\, and the Jebusites. (KJV) \nAre you in agreement? \nThroughout this year\, I asked you to agree with me as I prayed. The conditions for God to be in the midst of the prayer are clear. \n\nFirst\, it cannot be just any two or three people together\, the people have to be believers; those who have accepted the invitation to salvation and walk in the power of God’s promises.\n\nRevelation 21:3 Then I heard a mighty voice from the throne and I perceived its distinct words\, saying\, See! The abode of God is with men\, and He will live (encamp\, tent) among them; and they shall be His people\, and God shall personally be with them and be their God. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \n\nIt does not matter whether you have an official capacity in the church or not. If you are a believer\, you can stand in agreement with any other believer as they pray. Thank you for extending your faith and standing in agreement.\n\n1 Corinthians 5:4 When you gather in the name of the Lord Jesus and I am present with you in spirit\, and the infinite power of our Lord Jesus is present also. (The Voice TVT) \n\nSecond\, in order for you to agree\, you must believe you are gathered in the name of Christ\, trusting His intercession.\n\nColossians 3:17 And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed\, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person\, giving praise to God the Father through Him. (Amplified Bible\, Classic Edition AMPC) \n\nEach time you read the devotional\, be it daily or as you think about it\, you are showing agreement. You are saying you believe the information provided is God sent. If you did not believe it\, you would not read it. In all of your interactions\, try the word and see if God is in it. You don’t want to attach yourself to something that “looks” good. You only want to be attached God\, Who is good.\n\n1 John 4:4 Beloved\, believe not every spirit\, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (KJV) \n\nLastly\, you must believe the prayers we pray are not to fulfill some fleshly desire. You must believe the spirit man is asking\, in entire submission\, to the will of the Father in heaven.\n\nHebrews 10:22 We come closer to God and approach him with an open heart\, fully convinced that nothing will keep us at a distance from him. For our hearts have been sprinkled with blood to remove impurity\, and we have been freed from an accusing conscience. Now we are clean\, unstained\, and presentable to God inside and out! (The Passion Translation TPT) \n\nAsk the Lord to assist you as you discern your motivation. As you continue to spend time with the Lord and try the spirit\, He will expose His and your purpose for fellowshipping with believers. Not just for this devotional\, He will show you who to pray with\, when to pray with them\, and why you are praying and standing in agreement.\n\nMark 10:37-38 They said to Him\, “Grant that we may sit [with You]\, one on Your right and one on Your left\, in Your glory [Your majesty and splendor in Your kingdom].” 38 But Jesus said to them\, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink\, or to be baptized with the baptism [of suffering and death] with which I am baptized?” (Amplified Bible AMP) \nIf you meet all the conditions\, Elohei Mikkarov [el- ō-hē mick-a-rove] (God who is near) is in the midst. He is the very present help and employs all of His power and majesty to empower you as you intercede. He is right there to answer prayer. As you continue to stand in agreement\,  He will also continue to teach your hands to war and your fingers to fight. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather God\, every morning I have asked those who have joined me in this devotional to agree with me in prayer. I believe they did exactly what I asked. I felt their strength throughout this year\, and I really needed it. When people read this devotional year after year\, I will continue to be fortified by their agreement and I will still need it. What a wonderful thing to live in a world where I can be gathered together with other believers and not be in the same building. We gathered in our hearts and in our minds. As they meditate on the devotional\, we are gathered. I believe the prayers written for each day will affect the reader. I also believe the reader will internalize the prayers. As they see themselves in the prayer\, they will be in agreement because they show my desire to submit to Your will\, not to bring any fleshly desire. Each prayer has been a request for You to change me\, to make me better\, to show me what I need to stop doing; and to show me what I need to start doing. All to be done for Your glory and not for mine. I repent for being concerned about what the readers would think about me as they read the prayers. Thank You for showing me these prayers are my testimony and my light. Thank You for those who are standing in agreement with me. I pray You will do the work in them You have done in me. I thank You for being in the midst of us as we prayed…\n \nASK THE LORD WHAT HE WANTS TO SAY TO YOU ABOUT TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL AND JOURNAL IT HERE:
