DESCRIPTION:1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say\, brethren\, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (KJV) \nAre you still trying to win a fleshly war? \nIn this warfare\, he who has the most toys does not win. This is not a battle for you to take the spoils. The victory is not getting what you want.  \n1 John 2:15-17 Don’t set the affections of your heart on this world or in loving the things of the world. The love of the Father and the love of the world are incompatible. 16 For all that the world can offer us—the gratification of our flesh\, the allurement of the things of the world\, and the obsession with status and importance—none of these things come from the Father but from the world. 17 This world and its desires are in the process of passing away\, but those who love to do the will of God live forever. (TPT) \nYou are a soldier in the army of God. The victory is God’s and God’s alone. God’s victory is souls being saved\, the broken being healed\, and the bound being set free. You have to fight against the flesh and what it desires. How? I’m glad you asked.  \n\nDedicate time to study and meditate every single day.\n\nJoshua 1:8a This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth\, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night\, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it. (AMP) \n\nPray at all times until it becomes a habit.\n\nEphesians 6:18 Pray at all times (on every occasion\, in every season) in the Spirit\, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance\, interceding in behalf of all the saints (AMPC). \n\nMake sure your mind is on the right thing. \n\nPhilippians 4:8 Finally\, believers\, whatever is true\, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect\, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word\, whatever is pure and wholesome\, whatever is lovely and brings peace\, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence\, if there is anything worthy of praise\, think continually on these things [center your mind on them\, and implant them in your heart].(AMP) \n\nRemember\, you don’t have the power to resist the enemy; it is the God in you.\n\n1 Corinthians 15:56-57 It is sin that gives death its sting and the law that gives sin its power. 57 But we thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus\, the Anointed One. (TPT) \n\nDon’t validate yourself\, get help. \n\nProverbs 11:14 Where there is no [wise\, intelligent] guidance\, the people fall [and go off course like a ship without a helm]\, But in the abundance of [wise and godly] counselors there is victory. (AMP) \nYour flesh will return to the dust God created you from. Your spirit will be with the Lord. You have to fight like you understand that. Stop trying to amass “treasures” here on earth.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, in the name of Jesus\, I repent for trying to win a spiritual war in my flesh. Thank You for showing me I don’t need victory the way the world sees victory. I need victory in You. I am grateful to be a part of Your army. I no longer seek something for myself\, prizes\, treasures\, things and stuff. Father God\, I seek You and You alone. My only desire is to dwell in Your house all the days of my life\, to gaze upon Your beauty and to seek You in Your temple… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:
