DESCRIPTION:Hebrews 12:1 So now the stage is set for us: all these faith-heroes cheer us on\, as it were\, like a great multitude of spectators in the amphitheater. This is our moment. As with an athlete who is determined to win\, it would be silly to carry any baggage of the old law-system that would weigh one down. Make sure you do not get your feet clogged up with sin-consciousness. Become absolutely streamlined in faith. Run the race of your spiritual life with total persuasion. (TMB) \nAre you asking the Father to teach your hands to war? \nDo you ever stop to think about your life and make sense of all you have experienced? Did you realize you are in a war? However difficult it may be to grasp\, it is still true. Whether or not you are asking God\, He is still teaching you to war effectively. He spells it out in scripture. \n\nHe is teaching you who you are at war with\, not people.\n\nEphesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood\, but against principalities\, against powers\, against the rulers of the darkness of this world\, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (KJV) \n\nHe is teaching you what the enemy uses against you\, your own desires.\n\n1 John 2:16 Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way\, wanting everything for yourself\, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. (MSG) \n\nHe is teaching you when you should be ready. Not after being attacked\, you should be ready always.\n\n1 Peter 5:8 Be well balanced (temperate\, sober of mind)\, be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours\, the devil\, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger]\, seeking someone to seize upon and devour. (AMPC) \n\nHe is teaching you where the battle is. It is in your understanding of who God is and what He says.\n\nGenesis 3:1\, 4-5 Now the serpent was more crafty (subtle\, skilled in deceit) than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And the serpent (Satan) said to the woman\, “Can it really be that God has said\, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” 4 But the serpent said to the woman\, “You certainly will not die! 5 For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened [that is\, you will have greater awareness]\, and you will be like God\, knowing [the difference between] good and evil.” (AMP) \n\nHe is teaching you how.\n\nEphesians 6:13-18 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God\, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day\, and having done all\, to stand.14 Stand therefore\, having your loins girt about with truth\, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all\, taking the shield of faith\, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation\, and the sword of the Spirit\, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit\, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. (KJV) \nThe enemy’s job is to steal what God has for you; kill your faith; and destroy all your hopes to receive God’s promises for your life. Your job is to understand where the battle is\, and fight with the weapons God has provided. Engage! Live a life that sets someone else free. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \n\nFather\, in the name of Jesus\, I come before You\, thanking You for making me aware of my responsibilities. I repent for the days when I shirked them to do what I wanted. I ask You to reorder my life\, my thoughts\, and my actions\, as I can engage in the war for my soul and the souls of others. (KJV) \nAre you controlling your emotions? \nThere are many things you battle with. But the root of all of your battles is in your thoughts\, feelings\, and emotions. If emotions rule your mind\, you are self-centered and have little regard for anyone else. Living an ego-centric life makes it almost impossible to minister to anyone else. You base the struggles you have on your assessment of your life. When things don’t go the way you want them to\, you think something or someone is against you\, has hurt you\, has caused you some offense\, etc. You rarely look at the situation and find that you may be at the root of your discomfort. However\, you can and just might be.  \n\nAs the Lord to help you see what is in your heart.\n\nJeremiah 17:9-10 The heart is deceitful above all things\, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely\, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive\, understand\, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]? 10 I the Lord search the mind\, I try the heart\, even to give to every man according to his ways\, according to the fruit of his doings. (AMPC) \n\nBe aware of what causes you to behave other than how God would want.\n\nRomans 7:17-20 But I need something more! For if I know the law but still can’t keep it\, and if the power of sin within me keeps sabotaging my best intentions\, I obviously need help! I realize that I don’t have what it takes. I can will it\, but I can’t do it. I decide to do good\, but I don’t really do it; I decide not to do bad\, but then I do it anyway. My decisions\, such as they are\, don’t result in actions. Something has gone wrong deep within me and gets the better of me every time. (MSG) \n\nTake responsibility for what you feel.\n\nGalatians 6:5 For every person will have to bear [with patience] his own burden [of faults and shortcomings for which he alone is responsible]. (AMP) \nThen go to the Lord in prayer. \nPsalms 26:2 Put me on trial and examine me\, O Eternal One! Search me through and through—from my deepest longings to every thought that crosses my mind. (TVT) \nAs you are being taught to war\, the Lord will identify what is in your heart and help you control your emotions if you allow Him to.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \n\nFather\, in the name of Jesus\, I will submit my heart and my mind to You. DESCRIPTION:Psalms 139:23-24  Search me\, O God\, and know my heart: try me\, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me\, and lead me in the way everlasting. (KJV) \nAre you allowing the Father to search your heart? \nOften you have thoughts you feel are perfectly okay. You follow those thoughts through to actions\, interactions\, and decisions. Sometimes\, when you look back\, the end results of your actions\, interactions and/or decisions are not what you thought they would be. Do you say “it seemed like a good idea at the time”?  \nProverbs 14:12 You can rationalize it all you want and justify the path of error you have chosen\, but you’ll find out in the end that you took the road to destruction. (TPT) \nIt is great to have the Heavenly Father help you see what really lies in your thoughts and where your thoughts will take you. When He looks into your heart\, what will He find? Will He find a heart that: \n\nLoves Him (Deuteronomy 30:6\, Matthew 22:37).\nKeeps His Word (Deuteronomy 26:16).\nServes Him (Deuteronomy 11:13-14).\nFollows Him (1 Kings 14:8).\nSeeks Him (2 Chronicles 15:12).\nPraises Him (Psalm 86:12).\nTrusts Him (Proverbs 3:5).\nBelieves Him (Romans 10:9\,10).\n\nYou want the Lord to search your heart and find these attributes. If He does\, He guarantees your victory in this spiritual warfare. He will take care of you. \nJames 1:25 But if you look closely into the perfect law that sets people free\, and keep on paying attention to it and do not simply listen and then forget it\, but put it into practice—you will be blessed by God in what you do. (GNT) \nWhen God\, through His word\, is the basis for your thoughts\, you won’t make decisions without guidance; you will ask. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nHeavenly Father\, I ask You to search me through and through. Please expose those secret and hidden things in me that drive my behavior. Shine the light on those emotional habits that end in my disappointment and hurt. I repent for not asking You to search my heart every day. I know I need You to show me what is not like You. Please lead me to a place in You that stands above anything else in my life. For you didn’t learn this truth from your friends or from teachers or from sages you’ve met on the way. You learned it from My Father in heaven. (TVT) \nYou will know it is not “somebody” who showed it to you. God the Father showed you. Before\, you were not willing or able to see. Now\, your love of God and for God shows you. You have become one who is searching for Him with all of your heart.  \nHebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him\, for he who comes to God must believe that He is\, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. You will find Him. \nJohn 15:15 I do not call you servants any longer\, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you [My] friends\, because I have revealed to you everything that I have heard from My Father. (AMP) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather God\, I repent for not diligently seeking You for more understanding. Thank You for giving me deeper revelation\, despite who I am. You are endowing me with the ability to understand things I didn’t understand before. Continue to call me and draw me as I seek You.
