SUMMARY:Hebrews 6:1
DESCRIPTION:Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ\, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works\, and of faith toward God. (KJV) \nAre you willing to allow God to grow you up? \nA trick of the devil is to pull you into a moment where you reminisce about who you used to be and how you used to feel when you first got saved. Now\, he doesn’t want you to give glory to God for that event. His strategy is diabolical. What he wants to do is make you compare what you currently feel with what you once felt. If he’s able to show you a difference in how you feel\, he will also try to convince you there is something wrong with you. Ultimately\, he wants you to question your salvation. You’ll try to do things to prove God saved you. If you are not continually maturing in Christ\, the devil can be successful in convincing you did not get saved and you need to do the process over again. Stop him!  \n\nEither you are saved\, or you are not.\n\n1 John 5:11-13 And the testimony is this: God has given us eternal life [we already possess it]\, and this life is in His Son [resulting in our spiritual completeness\, and eternal companionship with Him]. 12 He who has the Son [by accepting Him as Lord and Savior] has the life [that is eternal]; he who does not have the Son of God [by personal faith] does not have the life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God [which represents all that Jesus Christ is and does]\, so that you will know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have eternal life. (AMP) \n\nEither you believe in God\, or you do not.\n\n1 John 5:10 The one who believes in the Son of God [who adheres to\, trusts in\, and relies confidently on Him as Savior] has the testimony within himself [because he can speak authoritatively about Christ from his own personal experience]. The one who does not believe God [in this way] has made Him [out to be] a liar\, because he has not believed in the evidence that God has given regarding His Son. (AMP) \n\nEither you are ready to move to develop a stronger walk in Christ\, or you are not.\n\nHebrews 5:12  For though by this time you ought to be teachers [because of the time you have had to learn these truths]\, you actually need someone to teach you again the elementary principles of God’s word [from the beginning]\, and you have come to be continually in need of milk\, not solid food. (AMP) \nNo matter how much you liked elementary school; you had to move on; it is the same with Christ. To be victorious in this war\, mature in the things of God. Do not allow your emotions to rule you. Your salvation is not a feeling\, it is a fact. Stand on it. With each new level in Christ\, the enemy intensifies the warfare. It can sometimes make you forget the joy you felt when your salvation was new and you first believed. There is a remedy. At any moment you can say to God like David did\, “restore unto me the joy of thy salvation”. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I remember when I surrendered my will to You. I remember the joy I felt and the peace. Each day looked and felt new; I felt new. I wanted to continue to feel that way. I realize I can’t go back to that place; I repent for trying to recreate that moment and the distractions that pursuit caused. Thank You for forgiving me and letting me know You don’t want me to move backwards. You want me to use that moment as a launching pad and an altar. I can have the joy of Your salvation renewed in me. All I have to do is ask. I can spend more time with You and grow closer to You. I can experience new levels in You\, higher heights and deeper depths. I will not allow the memories of the moment of my salvation to overshadow new moments with You. My salvation experience will always be in my memory. Thinking about it will always make me smile. I am continually looking forward to new memories You will make with me and I am excited… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 139:17
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 139:17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me\, O God! how great is the sum of them! (KJV) \nDo you understand how much God loves you? \nWhen you are fighting in a war\, you often don’t think about how much God loves you. You reflect on the war. In order to put everything in perspective you have to retreat\, to rest a bit\, to reflect and regroup. The greatest way to retreat is to meditate on the word and think about what the Father thinks about you. It’s a wonderful thing to know and feel the love of God. Walk in this realization: The God of all god’s\, the Lord of lords and the King of kings\, is concerned about you. Knowing He thinks about you should give you rest and peace.  \n“For man is experiencing a new awakening\, and he is searching for My Truth more than ever\, and I must speak through My prophets; and if they be not separated unto Me\, how can I instruct them? Yea\, I shall nourish thee by the brook as I nourished Elijah; I shall speak to thee out of the bush as I spoke to Moses and reveal My glory on the hillside as I did to the shepherds. Come away\, My beloved\, and be as the doe upon the mountains; yea\, we shall go down together to the gardens.”  \nHe knows the number of hairs on your head. He sees and counts your tears. How refreshing that knowledge is! Not only does the Lord want you to take a time of rest and reflection\, you must realize you need this time with the Lord as well. \nMark 6:31-32  And He said to them\, [As for you] come away by yourselves to a deserted place\, and rest a while—for many were [continually] coming and going\, and they had not even leisure enough to eat. 32 And they went away in a boat to a solitary place by themselves. (AMPC) \n\nGod rested\, not because He was tired. He was leading by example. \n\nGenesis 2:2-3 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy\, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. (NIV) \nExodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth\, the sea\, and all that is in them\, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. (NIV) \n\nGod demonstrated the need for rest because your body is weak and needs to recharge.\n\nMatt. 8:24b But Jesus was sleeping. (NIV) \nMark 14:38b “The spirit indeed is willing\, but the flesh is weak.” (NKJV) \n\nGod demonstrated the need for rest because He understands that you make poor decisions when you’re tired/stressed/ exhausted.\n\nGenesis 25:29-33 Once when Jacob was cooking some stew\, Esau came in from the open country\, famished. 30 He said to Jacob\, “Quick\, let me have some of that red stew! I’m famished!” (That is why he was also called Edom.) 31 Jacob replied\, “First sell me your birthright.” 32 “Look\, I am about to die\,” Esau said. “What good is the birthright to me?”33 But Jacob said\, “Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him\, selling his birthright to Jacob. (NIV) \nMatthew 26:69-75 Moses hit the rock instead of speaking to it. \nGod demonstrated the need for rest because rest enables you to think\, calibrate and recalibrate\, and get clarity and focus on what is important. \nProv. 14:8 The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways\, but the folly of fools is deception. (NIV) \nThe rest God is wants for you is not the normal rest you take from your daily work or relief from physical exhausted when you have worked hard. It is that profound peace that God gives to those who love and obey Him regardless of circumstances. It is peace that involves the whole faculty as the Bible Dictionary stipulates. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I have come away to be with You. I did not come to ask for anything. I simply want to rest in Your arms. I am taking time to reflect on the pivotal moments in my life. I repent for not always seeing them through the eyes of a loving God. Now\, I when I look at the ups\, I praise You. When I look at the downs\, I thank You. I know You ordered each step\, covered\, and protected me. Thank You for holding me up when I thought I could not go on. Thank You for rejuvenating me. I have heard Your call to “come away”. Thank You for calling me and I rest in You… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Titus 3:3
DESCRIPTION:Titus 3:3 Do not be harsh on others. Remember that we\, too\, were typically foolish; we were stubborn and indifferent to spiritual things\, our addiction to the central and sexual kept us running around in circles\, we were engaged in malice and spiteful jealousies\, we were bored and lonely\, often utterly disliking ourselves and hating one another! (TMB) \nAre you loving with the love of God? \nDo you sometimes evaluate someone else’s life\, picking out their flaws\, indiscretions\, and mistakes? Are you sometimes really critical? You may not be willing to accept this\, however\, you are actually being judgmental. It’s a terrible thing. This is yet another trap from the devil. Don’t fall into it. Remember who you used to be and how you used to act. Your memories should not give the enemy fuel to torment you. They should serve as a reality check. Though you may think so\, everything you did and everything you said did not come up smelling like roses.  \n1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you [before you believed]. But you were washed [by the atoning sacrifice of Christ]\, you were sanctified [set apart for God\, and made holy]\, you were justified [declared free of guilt] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God [the source of the believer’s new life and changed behavior]. (AMP) \nBefore Jesus\, and a time or two after Jesus\, you probably did some of the same things you are judging someone else for doing. You said little ugly things\, and you stirred up foolishness. Not because you wanted to\, not even because you tried to. You did it because you hadn’t relinquished complete control over to the Lord. You were still making choices without regard for the consequences of your actions. The trick of the enemy is to judge\, put away your magnifying glass and pick up a mirror. The power of Christ is to love. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, in the name of Jesus\, forgive me for being judgmental and critical. Forgive me for not remembering\, or pretending to forget\, the person I used to be. You found me\, rescued me\, and drew me closer to You. You showed me who I was\, but\, more importantly\, You showed me who You designed me to be. You changed me and are continuing to change me. Though I might be proud of who I am today\, I know I am not the finished product. You are still working on me\, and I am grateful. I know You are doing the same in others. I’m not sure what made me think I could see the behind-the-scenes work You’re doing. It is a wonderful thing You keep that work hidden. I repent for putting myself in a place of judgment. I ask You to forgive me. Please\, Father\, continue to prick me when I lose my compassion. I want to show love. I pray You can use me to be a bridge to the restoration You have provided for others\, just like You did for me… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Hebrews 4:12
DESCRIPTION:Hebrews 4:12 The message God spoke to us in Christ\, is the most life-giving and dynamic influence in us\, cutting like a surgeon’s scalpel\, sharper than a soldier’s sword\, piercing to the deepest core of human conscious\, to the dividing of soul and spirit; ending the dominance of the sense realm and its neutralizing effect upon the human spirit. In this way man’s spirit is free to become the ruling influence again in the thoughts and intentions of the heart. The scrutiny of this word detects every possible disease\, discerning the bodies deepest secrets were joint and bone-marrow meet. (TMB) \nWho is fooling who? \nYou may be able to fool others\, and sadly yourself. The word of God\, because it is God\, cannot be fooled. Your mind is incredibly fascinating. It can create defense mechanisms and intricate unrealistic self-images. It even allows you to act like the image is real\, even though you know it is not. That’s why it’s extremely important for you to stay in the word. You need the word to wash over you\, to examine you\, and to show you who you really are. \nJames 1:23-25 If some fail to do what God requires\, it’s as if they forget the word as soon as they hear it. One minute they look in the mirror\, and the next they forget who they are and what they look like. 25 However\, it is possible to open your eyes and take in the beautiful\, perfect truth found in God’s law of liberty and live by it. If you pursue that path and actually do what God has commanded\, then you will avoid the many distractions that lead to an amnesia of all true things and you will be blessed. (TVT) \nYou want the cleansing and correction of the word\, not for you to feel bad. You want to be cleansed to get excited. You can\, finally\, get off the roller coaster of saying one thing and really thinking and doing something else. You can stop trying to live a life you’ve said was you and falling short. You can stop appearing to be a liar or just duplicitous.  \nMatthew 5:37 A simple ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ will suffice. Anything beyond this springs from a deceiver. (TPT) \nYou can simply be who you are. You can say\, “love me or hate me\, take me or leave me.” Then you can let God do what He had already planned to do in you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather God\, I am grateful You are omniscient. You see right through me into my heart. I repent for not acknowledging my need for You to show me what’s there\, as well as what’s not there every day. As long as I try to make myself into something I’m not and change myself to be someone other than who You created me to be\, I am a target. Help me not to function in such a place of insecurity that I am fodder for the enemy. Help me embrace who I am\, all of who I am. Your word says I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I have to believe it. I don’t have to re-create an image of myself in order to please someone or make myself fit in. I can just be me and allow You to shape me like clay on a potter’s wheel. I’m sorry for tampering with Your creation. I thank You for cleaning up the mess I’ve made. I submit myself into Your hands… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 119:11
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart\, that I might not sin against thee. (KJV) \nHave you hidden the word in your heart? \nYou may attend church “religiously.” You may also participate in Bible study every Wednesday or Thursday or whichever day the ministry/church has it. However\, that is not enough. You also have the responsibility to store the word in your heart. Read the Bible for yourself. When you read\, seek God for revelation. When you get revelation\, make sure your actions and your attitude line up with what you read and what God has revealed. It is your responsibility to use the word as a guide. You don’t want to commit acts of sin because you don’t know better. The word will help you distinguish between sins of commission and sins of omission. In the world there is a saying\, “ignorance of the law is no defense.” The same is true with the Father. There is no reason for you not to know. The word is there\, read it\, understand it and apply it. \n1 John 2:24-27 So you must be sure to keep the message burning in your hearts; that is\, the message of life you heard from the beginning. If you do\, you will always be living in close fellowship with the Son and with the Father. 25 And he himself has promised us the never-ending life of the ages to come! 26 I’ve written these things about those who are attempting to lead you astray. 27 But the wonderful anointing you have received from God is so much greater than their deception and now lives in you. There’s no need for anyone to keep teaching you. His anointing teaches you all that you need to know\, for it will lead you into truth\, not a counterfeit. So just as the anointing has taught you\, remain in him. (TPT) \nThe Father loves you too much to leave you at the whims of someone else\, even if they mean well. He will teach you Himself if you allow Him to; if you submit to Him; and if you will spend time with Him and in His word. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, in the name of Jesus\, please draw me closer to You. As I carve out time for our communion\, I ask You speak to my heart\, show me Your word and give me revelation knowledge. I want to understand You more\, then I can live a life that is pleasing to You. I know I have to store the word in my heart. It will not happen accidentally. I repent for not making it a greater priority sooner. Each day as I study\, I will hide Your word in my heart. It is not enough to be knowledgeable of the enemy’s devices; I also have to know Your word. Please help me make it a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Proverbs 16:3
DESCRIPTION:Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD\, and thy thoughts shall be established. (KJV) \nAre you discouraged and disappointed? \nIf you’ve ever dealt with a teenager or a young adult\, you know they feel like they have all the answers. They want you to support their choices and decisions\, whether or not you believe they are good ones. They even want you to turn their terrible choice into something usable when they discover it was a terrible choice. If you are unwilling to accommodate them\, they feel discouraged and disappointed. You don’t want to take the same position with the Father. It does not matter what your plans may be. The warfare you are in requires you to submit your life to the Father. Do you quote Proverbs 3:5-7 regularly?  \nProverbs 3:5-7 Trust in the Lord with all your heart\, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him\, And He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; \nFear the Lord and depart from evil. (NKJV) \nDo you actually acknowledge God in all your ways? Are there things you run headlong into without pause and then expect God to give you “your” expected end? Do you get discouraged when things don’t turn out the way you planned? Though it may have seemed like a good idea\, at the time\, quite possibly it was not a “God” idea. You want to submit yourself\, your thoughts\, and your ideas to the Father. Here is the better thing: you also want Him to say no when it is not what He wants for your life. Most importantly\, you want to be excited when He says no\, not disappointed or discouraged. You do not know what He saved you from or what better plans He has for you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, in the name of Jesus\, I recognize I am in a war. I understand\, though You have already gotten the victory\, I must walk out the path You have set for my life. Please forgive me for not taking full advantage of the provision Jesus bought for me. He made it possible for me to be an overcomer because of the authority and power given to me because I am saved. All I have to do is allow You to show me Your plan for my life and accept it. Father\, I know I shouldn’t create plans\, without You\, and expect You to bless them. I recognize my destiny rests in You. You have all knowledge. You have already worked out the plan for my life. I must come to You. I must seek You. I have to wait on and rest in You. Help me live my life Your way\, every day. I will be the person You created me to be and walk in joy like I have never done before. Father\, I am willing\, and I submit to You… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \nhttps://yourvisionwriters.com//wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Reasonable.mp3
