SUMMARY:Corinthians 10:4
DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 10:4 The dynamic of our strategy is revealed in God’s ability to disengage mindsets and perceptions that have held people captive in pseudo fortresses for centuries! (TMB) \nHas God destroyed all of your strongholds? \nWhen you have on your armor\, you look at a situation from all sides. Sometimes it feels as if a person is the problem. You wonder why he or she acted that way. However\, the problem could be you. Truth demands you to separate the action from the person. It does not matter how hard you think it may be.  \nEphesians 6:12 Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings\, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. (TPT) \nIf you don’t\, stand on the word\, realizing it is not flesh and blood at work\, hurt and unforgiveness will take you to a dark place. The enemy will use your feelings as reinforcement for your pain every time you think about what happened. Your emotions fortify and protect your feelings and create what believers call a stronghold. The stronghold has you trapped because: \n\nYou have not forgiven\, and God will not forgive you.\n\nMatthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive men their trespasses\, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses\, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (NKJV) \n\nYou are bitter and toxic.\n\nHebrews 12:14-15 Pursue peace with all people\, and holiness\, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble\, and by this many become defiled. (NKJV) \n\nYou are hurting\, and you often knowingly and unknowingly hurt other people.\n\n1 Corinthians 10:32 Do not let yourselves be [hindrances by giving] an offense to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God [do not lead others into sin by your mode of life]; (AMPC) \n\nYou can’t let it go\, and you can’t see what new things God is doing in your life. \n\nIsaiah 43:18-19 “Stop dwelling on the past. Don’t even remember these former things. 19 I am doing something brand new\, something unheard of. Even now it sprouts and grows and matures. Don’t you perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and open up flowing streams in the desert.” (TPT) \nTo your knees you go\, and you remember who you are. You don’t focus on how you “feel or felt”. You realize the soulish realm of your existence is not where you meet with the Father. Instead of allowing the enemy to build a stronghold\, allow the Lord to be your stronghold. \nPsalm 9:9-10 The Lord also will be a refuge and a high tower for the oppressed\, a refuge and a stronghold in times of trouble (high cost\, destitution\, and desperation). 10 And they who know Your name [who have experience and acquaintance with Your mercy] will lean on and confidently put their trust in You\, for You\, Lord\, have not forsaken those who seek (inquire of and for) You [on the authority of God’s Word and the right of their necessity]. (AMPC) \nYou go to El Shaddai\, the All-Sufficient God\, and get everything you need. He will give you the strength to forgive\, to let go\, and to move forward in Him. You wait in His presence for direction on your next step\, and you have peace. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, in the name of Jesus\, I have on the whole armor of God. I come to thank You for holding me in a place where I am prompted to walk in love and forgiveness. It is not enough to know I need to forgive; I must forgive. I repent for not forgiving sooner. I realize all I was doing was hurting myself and damaging my witness. Thank You for reminding me again. I don’t fight against flesh and blood. You are my strong tower. I can and should run to You. I know I can’t come to You in the flesh. I must come by the Holy Spirit. I don’t have all the pieces to the puzzle. I don’t know why anyone does what they do. Sometimes I don’t even know why I do the things I do. Why do I respond to one person one way and someone else a different way? Thank You for the assurance that You can cleanse my heart. You can set me free. You can destroy the strongholds that the past has built. I submit them to You\, and I thank You for destroying them… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:14
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:14a Stand therefore\, having your loins girt about with truth\, (KJV) \nIs your integrity obvious? \n“I’m telling the truth; I cross my heart and hope to die”. Did you say that when you were a child? Isn’t it great you don’t have to do that as an adult? You don’t have to convince a person you are not lying. It is because you have lived a life that shows you have integrity. People watch how you handle problems\, if you say when you are wrong\, if you cut corners and someone else’s expense\, etc. The Bible substantiates this premise. \nMatthew 7:20 Yes\, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit\, so you can identify people by their actions. (NLT) \nIf you are a believer\, who has on the whole armor of God\, these things should be true about you: \n\nYou speak the truth even when it might appear to be more beneficial not to. \n\n1 Peter 3:10 It is written in the psalms\, If you love life and want to live a good\, long time\, Then be careful what you say. Don’t tell lies or spread gossip or talk about improper things. (TVT) \n\nYou serve God rather than men. \n\nActs 5:29 Then Peter and the apostles replied\, “We must obey God rather than men [we have no other choice]”. (AMP) \n\nYou keep our word.  \n\nJames 5:12 Above all we must be those who never need to verify our speech as truthful by swearing by the heavens or the earth or any other oath. But instead we must be so full of integrity that our “Yes” or “No” is convincing enough and we do not stumble into hypocrisy. (TPT) \n\nYou love those around you in both word and deed.\n\n1 John 3:17-18 But whoever has this world’s goods\, and sees his brother in need\, and shuts up his heart from him\, how does the love of God abide in him? 18 My little children\, let us not love in word or in tongue\, but in deed and in truth. (NKJV) \n\nYou believe in God and therefore to follow Him in all our ways.\n\nPsalm 37:23-24The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord\, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. (AMP) \n\nYour life lines up with your belief and trust in God that His ways are best. \n\nProverbs 3:5-6 Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him\, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. (AMP) \nThis is what your actions say about you. It shows your integrity. You don’t take it off and put it on. It is continuously a part of you.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for requiring me to live a life founded on Your word. I repent for those times I went my way. You are the Truth. I have to live a life where the truth makes me\, and those I come in contact with\, free. I thank You because I must represent You at all times\, even when doing what the world dictates would be an easy way out. I know there are no white lies\, black lies\, blue lies etc. Lies don’t have a color making them OK to tell\, they are just lies. There is no behavior that is Ok just this one time. Either it lines up with Your word or it does not. I thank You that the Holy Spirit is there to bring conviction even in my thought process\, before a lie comes out of my mouth or I make the wrong decision. There is no way for me to convince myself anything other than what glorifies You would be better. Thank You for helping me live a life free of lies\, bad choices\, and poor excuses. I live a life that gives You glory… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Luke 8:13
DESCRIPTION:Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they\, which\, when they hear\, receive the word with joy; and these have no root\, which for a while believe\, and in time of temptation fall away. (KJV) \nHow deep do your roots go? \nWhen you hear a word that truly ministers to you; it is the enemy’s job to steal it. Your job is to fight to hold on to it. You cannot allow situations in your life to make you think the word is not true\, or it is not true for you.  \nJames 1:12 If your faith remains strong\, even while surrounded by life’s difficulties\, you will continue to experience the untold blessings of God! True happiness comes as you pass the test with faith\, and receive the victorious crown of life promised to every lover of God! (TPT) \nYou have an arsenal of weapons available to you. Your study\, prayer\, and worship have rooted you in the word. You are not ignorant of satan’s devices\, specifically the ones he uses against you. He can’t catch you unaware unless you have not fully armed yourself.  \nJeremiah 17:7-8 “Blessed [with spiritual security] is the man who believes and trusts in and relies on the Lord And whose hope and confident expectation is the Lord. 8 For he will be [nourished] like a tree planted by the waters\, That spreads out its roots by the river; And will not fear the heat when it comes; But its leaves will be green and moist. And it will not be anxious and concerned in a year of drought Nor stop bearing fruit”. (AMP) \nArm yourself! Not for the day\, stay armed forever\, and hold on to the truth!    \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for rooting me and grounding me in Your truth. I thank You because Your word does not change based on my situation. I repent for acting as if it did. When the enemy comes to steal the word\, to whisper doubt\, and cause me to struggle; I can stand on the truth. I can cast down the imaginations the enemy tries to place in my mind. I can reject the image the devil shows me of myself based on a mistake. I am who You say I am. Thank You for Your word\, because it arms me and gives me strength. Jesus died for and provided the connection in my spirit\, allowing the word to take root and to grow in me. That same connection causes me to grow in You. I will continue to cultivate my roots as they grow stronger and sink deeper and deeper into You word… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 5:6
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 5:6 Avoid any association with those who employ hollow words to entice you; unbelief only produces a breed of people that distorts the pattern of their design as image bearers of God; this certainly does not please God. (TMB) \nWho is influencing you? \nWhen you have “friends\,” associates\, people you know and interact with who don’t know Jesus Christ\, you must be careful. As you listen to them\, make sure the “logic” of their conversation\, choices\, behavior\, and recommendations do not influence you. What union has light with darkness?  \n2 Corinthians 6:14-15 Don’t develop partnerships with those who are not followers of Jesus’ teachings. For what real connection can exist between righteousness and rebellion? How can light participate in darkness? 15 What harmony can exist between the Anointed and Satan? Do the faithful and the faithless have anything in common? (TVT) \nWhen your associations do not name the name of Christ\, they have no problem with being manipulative\, con artists\, ditch diggers\, and bone carriers. They would encourage you to be the same.  \n1 Corinthians 15:33 So stop fooling yourselves! Evil companions will corrupt good morals and character. (TPT) \nDo not be one of those “Christians” who stretch themselves to the edge and beyond if it fulfilled a wish\, got them what you wanted\, and/or got them something they convinced themselves they are “entitled” to. You should make it your practice to stay away from them.  \nAmos 3:3 Can two walk together\, except they be agreed? (KJV) \nAlways remember\, you cannot get good from doing evil. Using ungodly measures to get a good thing is not a blessing from God.  \nRomans 3:8a Is it proper for us to sin\, just so good things may come? May it never be! (TPT) \nBecause you read your word continually\, it arms you with truth. Then you are careful\, and you will not choose advice that only sounds good; you will discern if it is also spiritually detrimental to you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I know my primary reason for associating with those who don’t love You is because I can witness to them. I repent for the times that I gave myself a pass. Thank You for putting a hedge of protection around me\, helping me not to allow negative influences to alter my path. Please continue to cover me. Please choose my friends for me. I don’t want to allow anyone who doesn’t honor You into my inner circle. Help me hide the word in my heart and I will refuse ungodly counseling that “sounds” right. I am aware manipulation\, being sneaky or being the smartest one in the room\, in order to get what I want is not Your way. Help me continue to wait on You for the blessings You’ve already ordained for me to have. Guide me and the lust of the flesh\, the lust of the eye and the pride of life won’t cause me to sin against You. Thank You for keeping me… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:14b
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:14b Righteousness covers your heart like a bulletproof breastplate. (TMB) \nDo you have on your breastplate? \nThis question is necessary because of your heart. Your feelings and emotions can take you on a ride\, only the presence of God can get you off of. \nJeremiah 17:9-10a “The heart is deceitful above all things And it is extremely sick; Who can understand it fully and know its secret motives? 10 I\, the Lord\, search and examine the mind\, I test the heart”. (AMP) \nYou are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! Salvation made you right\, not because of anything you did. You are right because of what Jesus did. It is your responsibility to put on the breastplate to guard your heart.  \nProverbs 4:23 Guard your heart above all else\, for it determines the course of your life. (NLT) \nThe heart is the soulish realm where all your desires reside\, both good and bad. You don’t have to give in to fleshly desires that lead you astray.  \nPhilippians 4:8-9 Finally\, believers\, whatever is true\, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect\, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word\, whatever is pure and wholesome\, whatever is lovely and brings peace\, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence\, if there is anything worthy of praise\, think continually on these things [center your mind on them\, and implant them in your heart]. 9 The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me\, practice these things [in daily life]\, and the God [who is the source] of peace and well-being will be with you. (AMP) \nGod promises He will be with you. If you find you are spending too much time meditating on the wrong things\, you can say what David said. \nPsalm 51:10 Keep creating in me a clean heart. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires\, ready to please you. (TPT) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for giving me what I need to guard my heart. I repent for not wearing my breastplate at all times. My emotions have ruled me\, and I know I cannot afford to live that life ever again. How I feel can affect my actions if I allow it. However\, You have taught me\, my feelings cannot govern my response to the situations in my life. What does the Lord require? What does the Lord desire? What would bring the Lord glory? I must ask myself these questions before I act. It does not matter what I feel. What I know by the spirit\, though it is not always easy\, is what will bring me life… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Revelation 3:10
DESCRIPTION:Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience\, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation\, which shall come upon all the world\, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (KJV) \nAre you ready for the test? \nIn school\, at the end of the semester\, quarter or year\, there is a final. The teacher gives the test to see if you will pass the course\, qualify for the next semester/quarter\, or promote to the next year of education. A lot of times\, the teacher gives a study guide; the students know exactly what was going to be on the test. If you studied for it\, you were fine\, and you knew you would pass.  \nThis is how it is with your walk with the Lord. A time of testing is coming. Not just a personal test for you\, one the entire world will take. You don’t have to be afraid. God gave you a study guide and told you to use it. The Bible is the study guide the Lord gave you. \n2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction\, for conviction [of sin]\, for correction [of error and restoration to obedience]\, for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will\, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]. (AMP) \nHe also armed you with His promise.  \n2 Peter 2:9 If the Lord Yahweh rescued Lot\, he knows how to continually rescue the godly from their trials and to reserve the ungodly for punishment on the day of judgment. (TPT) \nIn the time of testing\, when others are falling away or yielding to temptation\, The Father will keep you. You have secured the study guide and His promise because of your salvation. Now\, you don’t worry about the test and if you will pass when He returns. You can wait actively doing the will of the Father and with expectancy because you are using the study guide to live a life that pleases God.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for teaching me\, through Your word\, how to be prepared for Your return and how to wait. I repent for not living my life\, every day\, as if today is the day Jesus will return. Please help me. The wait produces hope because it gives me one more day to align my life with Your word. I have Your promise that You will keep me when others are falling away and when everyone else is giving up. I am armed with Your word and I study it daily to keep me from deciding I will live my life anyway I want to. You keep me now and I know You will keep me until then. I stand on Your promise and I wait with hope… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Romans 5:2
DESCRIPTION:Romans 5:2 Because of our faith\, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand\, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. (NLT) \nAre you sharing your joy? \nBecause you understand your faith in Jesus gives you grace; you are powerful. Grace is not only unmerited favor\, it is also God’s supernatural empowerment. He called you\, anointed you\, and equipped you.  \n1 Corinthians 15:10 Today I am who I am because of God’s grace\, and I have made sure that the grace He offered me has not been wasted. I have worked harder\, longer\, and smarter than all the rest; but I realize it is not me—it is God’s grace with me that has made the difference. (TVT) \nTherefore\, you can do what God ordained for you to do.  \nPhilippians 4:12-13 I know how to get along and live humbly [in difficult times]\, and I also know how to enjoy abundance and live in prosperity. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret [of facing life]\, whether well-fed or going hungry\, whether having an abundance or being in need. 13 I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength (gives me grace) and confident peace.] (AMP\, edited) \nDoesn’t this truth fill you with joy? It should and you should want to tell someone about it. \nPsalm 34:3\,8 Join me\, everyone! Let’s praise the Lord together. Let’s make him famous! Let’s make his name glorious to all. 8 Drink deeply of the pleasures of this God. Experience for yourself the joyous mercies he gives to all who turn to hide themselves in him. (TPT) \n“Joy is not an occasional happy feeling; we are positioned there\, in an immovable\, unthreatened union!” (Francois Du Toit\, author of the Mirror Bible) \nThe joy you feel\, because of God’s grace\, never goes away. It fuels your hope and strengthens your resolve as you wait for Christ’s return. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I have joy unspeakable and full of glory. I thank You for it. Each day that I live\, You give me joy I don’t deserve. Your joy preserves me and sustains me in the time of trial and testing. It brings me excitement as I anticipate the return of Jesus. Just like Your comfort and Your peace\, Your joy is always there. Sometimes I allow the difficult circumstances in my life to overshadow my joy and I repent. It just lets me know I need to talk about You more. Talking about You and Your goodness brings me into Your presence. Being in Your presence brings me back to the center of my joy\, and that is You. I thank You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:15
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:15 You wear your eagerness and passion to communicate the good news like soldier’s shoes. Announce peace; the battle has already been fought and won! (TMB) \nDo you have on your “gospel shoes”? \nDon’t you just love shoes? I certainly do! You can’t count all the many kinds and styles\, work shoes\, play shoes\, casual shoes\, dress shoes\, etc. There are shoes for every activity\, every sport and even different shoes to play the same sport. As a soldier in the army of God\, you have on “gospel shoes” and they make your feet beautiful. \nHabakkuk 3:19 The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage\, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility] (AMP) \nRomans 10:15 And how can men [be expected to] preach unless they are sent? As it is written\, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings! [How welcome is the coming of those who preach the good news of His good things!]  \nThese shoes compel you to bring the good news. These shoes part the way for peace.  \nIsaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings\, who publishes peace\, who brings good tidings of good\, who publishes salvation\, who says to Zion\, Your God reigns! (AMPC) \nThe shoes never wear out\, and they always fit. In these shoes\, the answer to every problem is always Jesus.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for my “gospel shoes”. You know I love shoes. There is no pair of shoes I love more than these. They make my feet beautiful. They allow me to bring You into everyplace I go. I repent for the days and the times when I felt like they didn’t fit\, or didn’t go with my outfit. To be honest with You\, they probably didn’t go with my outfit. I have learned that I needed to change my clothes\, not Your shoes. I can tell everyone You are the answer\, no matter where I am or what the situation is. These shoes can be whatever color I need them to be. They can be whatever style I need them to be. They always match my outfit. I thank You. It’s good to be reminded my job is to tell the world they can have peace because Jesus is the answer… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Ephesians 5:16
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 5:16 Wisdom converts time into opportunity and frees your day from slog. (TMB) \nAre you giving a tithe of your time? \nIn the workforce\, time management and the ability to multitask are critical qualities for success. The Bible is clear about how you should spend your time as well. \nProverbs 16:27 Idle hands are the devils workshop (KJV)  \nEphesians 5:16 Making the very most of your time [on earth\, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence]\, because the days are [filled with] evil. (AMP) \nTime is available for you to do what you want with it. You can live like you have plenty of time to invest in your relationship with God\, and you do the “fun things” now. You can also choose to live your life as if you don’t know when Jesus is going to return (in point of fact you don’t).  \nJames 4:13-15 Come now [and pay attention to this]\, you who say\, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city\, and spend a year there and carry on our business and make a profit.” 14 Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen in your life tomorrow. [What is secure in your life?] You are merely a vapor [like a puff of smoke or a wisp of steam from a cooking pot] that is visible for a little while and then vanishes [into thin air]. 15 Instead you ought to say\, “If the Lord wills\, we will live and we will do this or that.” (AMP) \nEvery second is a precious opportunity to press into God. Your tithe is a 10th\, 2.4 hours per day. Are you robbing God? \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, in the name of Jesus\, I thank You for the opportunity to live my life giving You glory. I know I don’t know when Jesus is going to return. I repent for acting like I do. You give me time and allow me to do whatever I want to do with it. I can spend my time doing a lot of things I believe would benefit me in the natural. I can also spend my time doing fun things. I choose to spend my time giving You what is due You. The legalistic amount of time I should give You is 2.4 hours in a day. You are worth much more than 10%. The end of the tithe is the beginning of the sacrifice. I want to live my life in the sacrifice and offering portion of time. I don’t want to just give what I should give; I desire to give out of the abundance and overflow. You give me out of Your abundance. You are my God and I love You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Thessalonians 3:8
DESCRIPTION:1 Thessalonians 3:8 Your strong standing in the Lord gives us such zest for life. (TMB) \nIs your excitement for your life in Christ evident?  \nWhen you talk about your salvation experience\, do you get excited all over again? Is the smile on your face bigger than you can contain? Do you run to serve? Do you answer questions before a person can ask them? Do you give your testimony ever chance you get? The Psalmist had one way of sharing it. \nPsalm 34: 1-3 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof\, and be glad. 3 O magnify the Lord with me\, and let us exalt his name together. (KJV) \nWe also used to sing a song in church. Here are the lyrics: \nWhen I think of His goodness\, and what He’s done for me. When I think of His goodness\, and how He set me free\, I can dance\, dance\, dance\, dance\, dance\, dance\, dance\, all night long. We would exchange the word dance for praise\, sing\, shout\, spin\, etc.   \nThinking of who God is and what He has done should cause an abundance of joyous emotions to overflow. You should celebrate and have an enthusiasm for your life in Christ.  \n1 Peter 1:8 You love him passionately although you have not seen him\, but through believing in him you are saturated with an ecstatic joy\, indescribably sublime and immersed in glory. (TPT) \nYour excitement should show in how you live your life and be encouragement believers and non-believers alike. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, when I think about Your mercy\, Your goodness\, Your blessings\, and Your favor towards me; I am overwhelmed and excited. I want the excitement I feel to be like the clothes I wear. Please forgive me for showing my excitement sometime\, when I should show it all the time. I want to show Your glory when people see me; when they talk to me; and when they watch how I deal with situations. I want Your love to shine through me as evidence and acknowledgment of Your existence in this world and in my life. I want to show my gratitude\, in the way I live\, for all You have done\, all that You are doing and all You will do. My appreciation comes from the things I know about You and what You’ve done for me. I could fill a library with the things You have done for me\, I know nothing about; You know\, and I am grateful for those as well. You designed and ordained my life. I want to live every day like a student waiting for graduation: excited and grateful… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:16
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:16 It is most important to engage your faith as a man-size shield that covers your whole person and empowers you to extinguish the flame in every arrow of contradiction that you might face. The only visible part of you is your faith! (TMB) \nDo you have faith?  \nFaith is what you hope for when you think about what the Lord has promised for your eternity.  \nHebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for\, the evidence of things not seen. (NKJV) \nYou don’t have to hope for houses\, cars\, money\, etc. The Father has promised them if you seek the kingdom first.  \nMatthew 6:31\, 33 Therefore do not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy\, distracted)\, saying\, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ 33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at\, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God]\, and all these things will be given to you also. (AMP) \nYour faith is the assurance of things you can’t and don’t see. It is the protection you have against the enemy when he throws fiery darts. Your faith assures you the trials of life are just temporary\, no matter how devastating they may be. There is a song by that provides words you can say when you are in a time of testing and trying.  \n“Wind stop blowing; Flood stop flowing; Lightening stop flashing; Breakers stop dashing; Darkness go away; Clouds move away. That’s what I told the storm.”  \nIt is vital to speak to your situation in faith. However\, you must firmly plant your faith in God. Otherwise\, you will not command authority and your words will not have power. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, when I was younger\, I wanted to understand what it meant to have faith. My Sunday school teacher gave me “the chair example”. Faith was sitting in a chair without checking to see if it would hold me or if it was broken. That was the simplest explanation\, and it has stuck with me from that day to this one. I repent for moving from that explanation and acting as if my faith is in what I can see or what I can do. My faith is in You. You are the Almighty God. You are Alpha and Omega. There is no reason not to have faith in You. I don’t have to test it or wait for You to answer a prayer before I get excited. If You said it\, that settles it for me. I can endure and be victorious over whatever comes my way because I know You love me\, and I have faith in You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Malachi 3:2
DESCRIPTION:Malachi 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner’s fire\, and like fullers’ soap. (KJV) \nAre you counted as one who will abide? \nMost people understand what the refiner’s fire is and how it works. What about the fuller’s soap? A fuller’s job was to cleanse and make the cloth white. They removed dirt and oils from wool in order to make it pure white. The process the fuller used was first to soak the cloth in a soap that contained alkaline substances such as sodium carbonate or potassium (acids). Then\, with the cloth soaking in soap and water\, the fullers beat or stamped it to remove the impurities.  \nYou are being refined like oil and cleaned like cloth with every trial and test.  \nPsalm 66:10-12 O Lord\, we have passed through your fire; like precious metal made pure\, you’ve proved us\, perfected us\, and made us holy. 11 You’ve captured us\, ensnared us in your net. Then\, like prisoners\, you placed chains around our necks. 12 You’ve allowed our enemies to prevail against us. We’ve passed through fire and flood\, yet in the end you always bring us out better than we were before\, saturated with your goodness. (TPT) \nOne trial you will face continually is knowing who to believe. The Bible says:   \nMatthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs\, and false prophets\, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that\, if it were possible\, they shall deceive the very elect. (KJV) \nIf it were possible. That is an important phrase. How do you make sure the enemy will not deceive you? You are being refined in the fire. You spend in the presence of God\, and He will burn all the impurities out of you. You are being cleansed like the fuller cleans\, washed by the word\, and transformed from glory to glory. Your past is in the sea of forgetfulness and your instructions are\, “Go\, and sin no more”. How will you maintain your relationship with the Father and abide? You have been learning since you became a Christian and certainly in each day of this devotional\, from January until today. You must spend dedicated time in study\, in prayer and in sincere worship. You can’t forget who God is\, just because of what you see and/or experience. You walk by faith and not by sight. You must believe whether you rise first\, or you are caught up (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)\, you have God’s provision for you. From today until Jesus comes\, be steadfast. You are the church Jesus is coming back for. Be the one who abides until the end. \nAccept and act a lifestyle according to the Beatitudes (Matthew 5).\nBuild a treasure chest of God’s promises by memorizing one or more scriptures a week.\nInto the Bible. Take time alone in morning and evening.\nDaily walking and talking with Him.\nEeating and drinking according to first Corinthians 10:31…whatever you do\, do all to the Glory of God.   \nDoreice Denson 7/20/21 \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for the refiner’s fire and the fuller’s soap. As I remain in Your presence\, You are burning off everything that does not look like You in my life. You are cleaning me up every day. I thank You for deliverance. You continue to wash me. You are getting me ready because of how much You love me. I am grateful You’re not leaving it up to me to get myself ready. I repent for allowing the situations and circumstances in my life to hold me down. I know You require me to let go of anything not like You and anyone who stands between me and You. You care more about me than I will ever know; You keep me from falling. Because You love me as much as You do\, You chastise me\, and You correct me. I will abide in You\, and Your word will abide in me and hold me. When Jesus comes back\, I will be without spot or wrinkle. I am the church You are coming for. I bless Your name… \n  \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Colossians 4:12
DESCRIPTION:Colossians 4:12 Epahras\, who is also fruit of your ministry\, salutes you. What a diligent worker of Christ he is\, always laboring on your behalf with great intensity in his prayers. His desire for you is to stand strong in the full accomplishment of Christ and to be fully persuaded in God’s purpose for your lives. (TMB) \nWhat does your work evaluation say?  \nWhen you are working\, your employer designates times when you get evaluated. When you apply for a job\, you often need a letter of reference. Evaluations happen\, via tests\, surveys\, observations etc.\, all throughout your life. As a Christian\, you are constantly being evaluated by other believers and by non-believers. The Father evaluates you as well. \nYour basic and most important duty as a believer is to represent God on earth\, and men will want to be saved. You have to fulfill His set qualifications in order to be an effective ambassador/representative. Here is a short position description. The ambassador/representative of the Lord Almighty must:  \n\nHave a disciplined life. (Romans 12:1-2)\nStudy the Bible regularly\, and you will not only speak the word\, you will live it. (2 Timothy 2:15)\nPray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)\nCommit yourself to the body of Christ. (1 Thessalonians 3:12)\nDeal with everyone in a way that glorifies God. (John 13:35)\nHelp others learn who God is. (Hebrews 13:16)\nLive an upright moral life. (Galatians 5:19-21)\nHonor order and do God’s will. (1 Corinthians 14:33)\nAny other duties as assigned. (You can find all other duties in the 66 books of the Bible.) \n\nIf you got an evaluation or letter of recommendation\, what would it say? Ask Him. \nPsalm 26:1-2 Judge me\, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide. 2 Examine me\, O Lord\, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. (KJV) \nIf you don’t like His response\, change how you are living. People\, who speak about you to others or mention you in their prayers\, should talk about at least one of those qualities.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I seek to live my life as a stellar representative of You on the earth. I repent for thinking it was enough to wear the decorative pins and put banners in my car window saying\, “What Would Jesus Do”. I want people to look at my life and say\, “I see what Jesus would do”. I want my light to shine brightly in order that men\, women\, boys and girls will see my works and glorify You\, Who orders my steps. I’m reminded of the passage when Jesus said\, “Whom do men say that I am?” If I asked that question about me\, my prayer is the world would recognize Christ in me… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Peter 2:9
DESCRIPTION:2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations\, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. (KJV) \nAre you confident in God’s plan? \n“I got this.” That is the phrase used when a person is confident in their ability to handle the problem at hand. The Lord God says “I got this” all day\, every day.  \nPhilippians 2:13 For it is [not your strength\, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you\, both to will and to work [that is\, strengthening\, energizing\, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure. (AMP) \nHe has a plan for you\, and He always provides a way of escape. God knows you better than you know yourself. He knows what to allow for your making and what to hold back to prevent your demise.  \nJeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you\,” says the Lord\, “plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster\, to give you a future and a hope.” (AMP) \nHis plan also extends to the unjust. Though it may seem they are getting away with misdeeds\, not reaping what they have sown\, laughing in the face of God and living beyond consequences\, the Bible says\,  \nPsalms 27:1-2 Fret not thyself because of evildoers\, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass\, and wither as the green herb. (KJV) \nAlways ask the Lord to help you be confident in His plan for your life\, not yours. Refuse to let anything move you. Live a fixed and committed life and ask God for the strength\, power\, and conviction to stand by His plan until you see it come to pass. Be at peace knowing “God’s got this!” \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, to say I am glad You promised to keep me and bring me into Your presence faultless\, is an understatement. It’s not my job to do it\, it is my job to stay out of Your way and allow You to do it. I don’t have to look around me\, compare myself to others. I repent for the times I did\, and it made me feel like I was failing. You showed me how that attitude meant I was diminishing Your sovereignty\, trusting what I saw\, and not trusting You. You knew the end at the beginning. You have a purpose for my life. The work You began in me\, You will perform. These are truths I am armed with\, stand on\, and hold on to. I don’t have to fix myself. I must trust in You. I must allow You to correct me. I must heed Your word and do what You say do. If I do\, it shows I am confident in Your plan. I don’t have to know all the details about what You’re doing. I know You love me… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 26:41
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray\, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing\, but the flesh is weak. (KJV) \nAre you watching and praying? \nWhen Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane\, He told the disciples to watch and pray. He did not want them to fall into temptation. Jesus knew the devil would test them. Just like them\, He knows you are going to be tested every day of your life until He returns.  \n1 Corinthians 10:13  No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy]\, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist]\, but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well\, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding\, and will overcome temptation with joy]. (AMP) \nSince the Father knew the devil would tempt you\, He gave you a way to escape the temptation. You want to “take the way of escape” when others are falling away or yielding to temptation. How do you make the cut? Glad you asked.  \nFirst\, you accept what Jesus died for.  \nRomans 8:3 For God has done what the Law could not do\, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin\, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued\, overcame\, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice]. (AMPC) \nSecond\, you recognize the enemy for who he is and what he does\, and pray. \n1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined]\, be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours\, the devil\, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry]\, seeking someone to devour. 9 But resist him\, be firm in your faith [against his attack—rooted\, established\, immovable]\, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being experienced by your brothers and sisters throughout the world. [You do not suffer alone.] (AMP) \nYou cannot take this posture some-of-the-time. It has to be your lifestyle. Why? Because\, like the disciples\, your spirit is willing\, however\, your flesh is weak. Bring your flesh under subjection to the will of God. Be on guard and ready for battle when it is comfortable and when it is not. Be on guard and ready for battle when it is convenient and when it is not. Have the habit of being on guard and ready for battle. God has paved your escape route; all you need do is watch and pray.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I can remember many times when I made a resolution to accomplish something\, correct something in my life or fulfill a task I believed You gave me. In some of those times\, I was successful. However\, in some of those times I meant well; I just didn’t get it done. I repent for those times and I remain grateful. I will continue to watch and pray. You are showing me what I call my frailties and my failures are opportunities for You to stand up stronger and taller within me. I have to change what I say about what I see. I know how the enemy attacks me. I have to continue to stay in Your presence and continue to seek Your face. If I don’t\, I close the free-flowing provision You make available to me to help me succeed. I also miss the opportunity for You to adjust my view of my situation when I look through Your eyes. You look beyond my faults and You see my need. Then You provide for my need and I thank You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:17
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:17a And take the helmet of salvation. (KJV) \nAre you saved? \nIf we look at the armor\, determining the most important piece could be a matter of great discussion. It would be like trying to decide which fruit of the Spirit is best or which supernatural gift is the most essential. From purely a spiritual/logical standpoint\, the helmet of salvation is the first piece you need. These weapons are spiritual. The only way you can use them is by the spirit. \n2 Corinthians 10:3-4 For although we live in the natural realm\, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons\, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead\, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. (TPT) \nIf you are not saved\, you live according to the flesh and not according to the spirit. When you live according to the flesh\, you cannot use spiritual weapons. More importantly\, you cannot please God.  \nRomans 8:8-9a So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God\, or be acceptable to Him. 9 But you are not living the life of the flesh\, you are living the life of the Spirit\, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. (AMPC) \nBecause you are saved\, God empowers you to use the other pieces of armor to work in your life. It is through salvation\, God-given and pure: \nYou can stand your ground when the devil attacks. (1 John 4:4)\nYou can speak the truth. (Ephesians 4:15)\nYou are the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:21)\nYou preach the gospel of peace. (2 Timothy 4:2)\nYou have faith. (Romans 10:17)\nYou have power. (2 Timothy 1:7)\nYou can hear the Lord speaking. (John 10:27) \nNo man enters a battle without understanding the war and knowing how he can win. You need the proper gear if you will be effective and victorious. Salvation gives you access to the gear. Without salvation\, your path is set; you cannot win.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for saving me. For a long time\, I thought the only thing salvation did for me was keep me from going to hell. I repent for not spending more time with You to get a deeper understanding. Now I know salvation did more for me than I realized. Because I am saved\, I have victory over the enemy. Salvation gives me the power to walk in love\, and I have joy. Because You saved me\, my peace is not up for grabs. I have fond memories of my father saying from the pulpit\, “It is the power to walk right\, talk right and live right.” Thank You for the power. More importantly for me\, thank You for teaching me how to access it and use it effectively in my life… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 4:3
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 4:3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. (KJV) \nAre you set apart? \nYou are chosen. God picked you.  \n1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation\, a royal priesthood\, a holy nation\, His own special people\, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; (NKJV) \nAs you stand armed for battle\, know you are not alone. The choosing was a covenant. You have your part to uphold the things of God\, and God will uphold His word without wavering.  \nHebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days\, says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon their minds\, even upon their innermost thoughts and understanding\, and engrave them upon their hearts; and I will be their God\, and they shall be My people. (AMPC) \nHe entered this agreement with you\, knowing exactly who you are. Because He knows who you are and what you will do\, He made a way for you to call to Him. He has promised to answer. Not because you won’t make mistakes\, not because you are always obedient; He answers because He loves you. \nProverbs 24:16a For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again. (NKJV) \nHe examines your heart\, not your actions. He sees you when you pray and study. \n1 Kings 8:39 then hear in heaven Your dwelling place\, and forgive and act and give to each according to his ways\, whose heart (mind) You know\, for You and You alone know the hearts of all the children of men. (AMP) \nYour pure worship and praise go up to Him as a sweet savor. Know this\, because God set you apart\, you can run to the Rock who is higher than you\, and find refuge from the storm.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I just don’t know why You would pick me\, thank You. If I was doing the choosing\, I probably wouldn’t have picked me. Even right now\, I repent for the things I have done that should have disqualified me. Not because I am worse than anyone else\, it’s just that when I look in Your word\, I don’t measure up. Yet\, You didn’t disqualify me; You picked me. I don’t say I would not pick me to second guess Your choice. I say it to make sure I stay humble. Not only did You desire me\, You set me apart. You knew every decision I would make\, the good ones and the bad ones. You knew when I would obey You and when I would reject You. You knew when I would allow Your word to transform me into Your image and when I would try to make provision for my flesh. Yet\, You chose me anyway. Because You know all about me\, You also know exactly what needs to happen in my life in order to buff out the rough places and fix the dents. I thank You for loving me. Your love for me takes me through situations and allows certain things to happen because You know exactly what I need. I am assured because I can call to You when I see myself stumbling and You answer\, every time… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Corinthians 1:12
DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 1:12 The testimony of our conscience is the source of our joy! We are intertwined together in transparent innocence; there is no trace of a hidden agenda for the flesh to glory in. God’s grace is our conversation in the world and is amplified in our oneness with you. Grace abounds! (TMB) \nWhat kind of lifestyle do you have? \nHave you ever heard someone say\, “God knows my heart”? Often a person uses that excuse when she/he has done or said something they know was displeasing. In that time and in all times\, God does know your heart.  \nPsalm 139:1-4 Lord\, you know everything there is to know about me. 2 You perceive every movement of my heart and soul\, and you understand my every thought before it even enters my mind. 3–4 You are so intimately aware of me\, Lord. You read my heart like an open book and you know all the words I’m about to speak before I even start a sentence! You know every step I will take before my journey even begins. (TPT) \nThere probably have been times when someone told you they felt misunderstood\, misquoted and/or mistreated by you (and there will be more). Maybe because of something you said or did. It was not your intent for your actions to be received the way they were. Isn’t it a wonderful thing to acknowledge God’s omniscience and feel a sense of peace sweep over you? As you stand fully clothed in the armor of God\, you can say with confidence\, “God knows my heart”. It is not a pass for sin\, it is God’s covering grace. Your lifestyle attests not only to God withholding what you deserve\, it also shows how He empowers you to live as He wills. \n1 Peter 3:10-11 For let him who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good—whether apparent or not] keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from guile (treachery\, deceit). 11 Let him turn away from wickedness and shun it\, and let him do right. Let him search for peace (harmony; undisturbedness from fears\, agitating passions\, and moral conflicts) and seek it eagerly. [Do not merely desire peaceful relations with God\, with your fellowmen\, and with yourself\, but pursue\, go after them!] (AMPC) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I desire for You to be glorified in how I live. I thank You because I can honestly say I want to please You. Whether or not I say it\, You search and know my heart. You see exactly what’s in it. When it is time for me to make choices\, You remind me what You want and desire for me. I repent for those times when I chose me and not You. I’m grateful I can’t fool You. Others may look at me and draw their own conclusions\, judge my actions or misinterpret my intentions\, but You know. Sometimes my hands make mistakes\, but my heart is pure before You. It is the heart You saved and the heart You hold. As submit to You\, please mold and shape my attitude and my feelings. You are such an awesome God. I pray my life is a testament to how awesome You are… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Corinthians 6:7
DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 6:7 We are sheltered in the word\, entwined in unveiled truth\, in the dynamic of God’s power\, because righteousness empowers us with every necessary weapon in our right and left hand to daily live undefeated by any of these onslaughts and contradictions! (TMB) \nHave you accepted your assignment? \nWhen the military has what they consider an almost impossible mission to accomplish\, they call in the Special Forces Units (i.e.\, Green Berets\, Delta Force\, Force Recon and Navy Seals). They know the special forces are going to be successful. These are the people who make it happen. Whoever they are going against is also aware of what and who they are. They understand the special forces’ training and what it means for them to be called in.  \nBecause of the word\, the same word that raised Jesus from the dead\, you can live a “special forces” life.  \nEphesians 4:1-2 So I\, the prisoner for the Lord\, appeal to you to live a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called [that is\, to live a life that exhibits godly character\, moral courage\, personal integrity\, and mature behavior—a life that expresses gratitude to God for your salvation]\, 2 with all humility [forsaking self-righteousness]\, and gentleness [maintaining self-control]\, with patience\, bearing with one another in [unselfish] love. (AMP) \nIf you are “special forces\,” you find your marching orders in 2 Corinthians 6:3-10. \n\nYou do not cause anyone to stumble\, and your ministry will not be discredited. \nYou live\, demonstrating endurance\, through troubles\, hardships and distresses. \nYou stay committed when the work is hard and through sleepless nights. \nYou show understanding\, patience\, kindness\, sincere love and truth in your speech. \nYou wield the weapons of righteousness in your right hand to attack and your left hand to defend. \nYou live for God whether you receive praise or dishonor\, a bad report or an excellent report. \nYou don’t stop whether the world sees you as genuine or regards you as an impostor. \nYou don’t stop even when those who know you act like they don’t. \nThough you feel as if you are dying\, you live on; not killed when beaten\, always rejoicing even when sad\, poor\, yet making many rich; having nothing and yet possessing everything. \n\nThis is the job of the Christian special forces.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I am grateful I can look at my past because I am still here. My past could be as recent as last week\, yesterday or five minutes ago; I’m still standing. There were times when I thought I wouldn’t make it. I repent because in those times I was not resting in You. There were times when I wanted to give up. I repent because in those times; I made it about me and not about the assignment. However\, I give You all the glory. I’m still here\, still seeking You\, still loving You. I don’t know if that makes me special forces; I would like to believe it makes me a special forces recruit. I live my life wanting You to count me as one who can stand\, one who is faithful and one You can depend on. I want You to say to the enemy\, “Have You considered my servant Pam?” I know You want me to be ready for what comes my way\, and I do as well… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 2:22
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 2:22 In him you are co-constructed together as God’s permanent spiritual residence. You are God’s address! (TMB) \nAre you God’s address? \nOne of the major ways you validate residency is with your address. You can’t get a driver’s license\, social security card\, passport or any other legal document until you can prove where you live. It is not enough to say you live there; you have to show official mail with your name and address on it. There has to be evidence of your residence.  \nSometimes you see a house and you wonder does anyone live there. You wonder because someone boarded the house up; windows are cracked\, shutters broken\, etc. You may even see a house that has a well-kept yard\, an immaculate paint job\, was just built or fully renovated and still you can wonder if anyone lives there. \n1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you\, whom you have [received as a gift] from God\, and that you are not your own [property]? (AMP) \nWhat kind of house do you have? If someone was driving through your neighborhood\, could they tell who is living there. \n\nWould he wonder if God is living there?\n\nRomans 1:29-31Their sinful lives became full of every kind of evil\, wicked schemes\, greed\, and cruelty. Their hearts overflowed with jealous cravings\, and with conflict and strife\, which drove them into hateful arguments and murder. They are deceitful liars full of hostility. They are gossips 30 who love to spread malicious slander. With inflated egos they hurl hateful insults at God\, yet they are nothing more than arrogant boasters. They are rebels against their parents and totally immoral. 31 They are senseless\, faithless\, ruthless\, heartless\, and completely merciless. (TPT) \n\nWould she be able to see that God is living there?\n\n 2 Peter 1:5-8 For this very reason\, adding your diligence [to the divine promises]\, employ every effort in exercising your faith to develop virtue (excellence\, resolution\, Christian energy)\, and in [exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge (intelligence)\, 6 And in [exercising] knowledge [develop] self-control\, and in [exercising] self-control [develop] steadfastness (patience\, endurance)\, and in [exercising] steadfastness [develop] godliness (piety)\, 7 And in [exercising] godliness [develop] brotherly affection\, and in [exercising] brotherly affection [develop] Christian love. 8 For as these qualities are yours and increasingly abound in you\, they will keep [you] from being idle or unfruitful unto the [full personal] knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah\, the Anointed One). (AMPC) \n\nWould they think God is there when He really isn’t?\n\nMatthew 23:27-28 “Woe to you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly\, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men\, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. (NKJV) \nWhen you give instead of taking\, forgive instead of holding a grudge\, bless instead of curse\, love instead of hate; your lifestyle is evidence of God’s habitation. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, You have made me Your habitation. You live in me. I became Your residence when I accepted Your invitation to salvation. My lifestyle\, my desire and my heart are to please You. I repent for those days I fall short. If I’m the only Bible someone will ever read\, I want the text to be accurate. I want people to come to me and find You. It is not enough for me to say I’m a Christian. It is not enough for me to carry a Bible and have Scriptures on my wall or my desk at work. Banners\, pins\, and stickers mean nothing if my life does not line up. The words have to ring true in my thoughts\, my speech and my actions. I have to be believable for those who don’t know You. My life has to say\, “God lives in me”… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:17
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:17b and the sword of the Spirit\, which is the word of God. (KJV) \nHow are you using the word? \nArmed with the word of God\, there is nothing you cannot do.  \n2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction\, for conviction [of sin]\, for correction [of error and restoration to obedience]\, for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will\, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; 17 so that the man (servant) of God may be complete and proficient\, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work. (AMP\, edited) \nHaving your assignment\, from the Father\, stopped is not even a consideration. Just as Jesus used the word when the enemy came to tempt Him\, you have to do the same. You must say with confidence\, “it is written.” You cannot get that kind of confidence just by reading the Bible. You have to study it\, memorize it and apply it to your life.  \n2 Timothy 2:15 Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial)\, a workman who has no cause to be ashamed\, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth. (AMPC) \nIt is not enough to go to church and listen to the revelations God gave to pastors and elders. You have to get your own. The word has many purposes in the life of the Christian. In addition to what we read in 2 Timothy 3:16-17\, it also lights your path (Psalm 119:105); gives you wisdom (Colossians 3:16)\, increases your faith (Romans 10:17)\, and sustains your joy (Jeremiah 15:16). The word will bless you (Luke 11:28).  \nThe word is your foundational for what you believe\, your principles\, and your education. Use the weapon God gave you to establish everything you think\, do\, and say. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, You are the Word. I thank You\, I can run to the word. I know I will find answers to any and every problem\, dilemma\, or situation I will ever face. Whether the concern is spiritual\, family related\, about relationships\, or concerning business; the answer is in the Word. I thank You for it. I don’t have to guess what to do. I don’t have to figure out how to respond. I repent for those times when I tried to move according to my wisdom. Experiences\, whether I saw them as tough or easy\, have taught me to go to Your Word. I thank You because I use Your Word to lift and not tear down. You guide my tongue to make sure I bless and enrich those I speak to. I thank You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Peter 4:7
DESCRIPTION:1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober\, and watch unto prayer. (KJV) \nAre you ready for the end of all things? \nHow often do you hear the statement “The end is near” or “The Lord is soon to return”? What does it mean to you? How does it affect you? People have been saying one or both statements for 100’s of years. They will continue to say them for 100’s more\, unless Jesus returns. Believers often use those statements when something morally\, ethically and/or socially degrading happens (a sign of the times). Whether or not you are marking events\, the end is coming.  \nJames 5:8-9 You also be patient. Establish your hearts\, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 9 Do not grumble against one another\, brethren\, lest you be condemned. Behold\, the Judge is standing at the door! (NKJV) \nReflecting on the time of Jesus’ return should bring a sense of joy. It marks the end of suffering\, hurting\, pain\, sinning\, and needing to repent. The battle will be over\, and the victory will be won. Heaven is in view. \nRevelation 21:3-5 I heard a loud shout from the throne\, saying\, “Look\, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them\, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes\, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” 5 And the one sitting on the throne said\, “Look\, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me\, “Write this down\, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” (NLT) \nTo prepare for this time\, you should be self-controlled in all things\, showing forgiveness\, loving at a greater dimension\, and continuing in prayer.  \nHebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider and give attentive\, continuous care to watching over one another\, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities\, 25 Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers]\, as is the habit of some people\, but admonishing (warning\, urging\, and encouraging) one another\, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching. (AMPC) \nYou are still the only bible some will read. As you prepare\, help someone else prepare as well. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I look forward to the return of Jesus and to coming home to be with You. I repent for those days when I allowed the state of the world and the things happening in it to make me sad. I have finally come to the place where I no longer get depressed over what I see. I have joy. I look until I see Your hand at work\, and I have peace. What I feel is not morbid or suicidal\, it’s just true. This world will end\, and I will be with You forever. I love the life You have given me. I will work and serve until You return. My divine purpose is to reconcile the world to You and we all will spend eternity in heaven. This change in perspective and attitude is such a relief. I am no longer holding on to this life like it is all I have. I will do what You sent me to do until Jesus returns. I am filled with unspeakable joy. I wait in confident anticipation. I have a blessed assurance of His return.… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 3:18
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth\, and length\, and depth\, and height. (KJV) \nDo you understand God’s love? \nWhat is your response to the question? Most believers would say\, “Of course I understand God’s love”. Can you explain it to someone who does not understand love at all? In the movie\, Meet Joe Black\, William Parish tries to explain what love is: \nWilliam Parrish: Trust\, responsibility\, taking the weight for your choices and feelings\, and spending the rest of your life living up to them. And above all\, not hurting the object of your love. \nJoe Black: So that’s what love is\, according to William Parrish? \nWilliam Parrish: Multiply it by infinity\, and take it to the depth of forever\, and you will still have barely a glimpse of what I’m talking about. \nThat is a pretty good definition. However\, there is still much more. If you tried to give an explanation\, how would you do it? Would you give them a scripture? \nJohn 3:16 For God so loved the world\, that he gave his only begotten Son\, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish\, but have everlasting life. (KJV) \nHow would you make the definition personal? Would you begin with your experiences with the love of God? Would you share how He demonstrated His love in your life? Would you talk about some pivotal encounters with Him that deepened your understanding of His love? Would you testify to how much more you show your love for Him and to others because of those encounters? Would you say they would understand better if they read the Bible and talked to other believers? While explaining God’s love\, it is important to make sure you let them know that is not like the love human beings give. It does not come and go depending on feeling and trials and tribulations of life. \nTrying to explain the love of God can be a daunting task because His love is so overwhelming. A person could read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. By some miracle\, they could speak to every Christian\, past\, present\, and future\, to hear their experiences with Him. Even then\, even then\, they would only get a fragment of the knowledge needed to explain and understand the vastness of God’s love. Paul tried to provide a deeper understanding.  \nRomans 8:38-39 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death\, life’s troubles\, fallen angels\, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. 39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love\, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus\, the Anointed One! (TPT) \nBefore you end the explanation\, here is a quote you can use: \nGod’s love goes beyond what you were and what you have done; who you are and what you are doing; and who you will be and what you might do. It covers you completely and presents you\, without a single flaw\, before the Father. Dr. Pamela Russell \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I can talk about Your love. I can write about Your love\, preach about it\, and teach on it. When it really gets down to it\, I only have a glimpse. What I know is only the tip of the iceberg. Even in this lesson\, I repent if I left the reader thinking I had “the” answer. I only have the best answer I can give up to this point. The magnitude of Your love for me\, and the entire universe\, goes beyond my ability to comprehend or express\, yet I try. However\, I don’t leave it as the last try. I search for a deeper understanding of Your love\, every day. In my quest\, I fall more in love with You. When I think about what You do because You love me and what You do because You love the world\, there is nothing to compare it to. There is no frame of reference. There is nothing I have or ever will experience that would help me make sense of it. To say that I am in awe of Your love; I am overwhelmed by Your love; and I am consumed by Your love are just words that my intellect can understand\, though my heart struggles to. It is full to the bursting point. I do my best to accept Your love\, embrace Your love\, and show You my gratitude for Your love… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 6:5
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest\, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets\, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you\, they have their reward. (KJV) \nWhat type of prayers are you praying? \nArmor with holes\, kinks\, rust spots\, etc. does not work well. Prayer is the oil\, the mender\, the forge and blacksmith keeping the armor working. Because of prayer\, which is your communication with God\, you can miss the pitfalls\, the stumbling blocks\, and any other things that can damage your armor.  \nPsalms 107:6-7 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble\, And He delivered them out of their distresses. 7 And He led them forth by the right way\, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place. (NKJV) \nYou want your prayers to build a relationship between you and God. When you spend time worshiping\, praying\, and sitting in the presence of Lord\, you transition from servant to friend.  \n2 Corinthians 13:9b We also pray for this\, that you be made complete [fully restored\, growing and maturing in godly character and spirit—pleasing your heavenly Father by the life you live]. (AMP) \nGod is always trying to show you the pitfalls and cause you to learn from what you have already experienced. However\, when you are far from Him\, you don’t listen\, and you don’t see.  \nMark 8:17b-18 Do you not yet discern or understand? Are your hearts in [a settled state of] hardness? 18 Having eyes\, do you not see [with them]\, and having ears\, do you not hear and perceive and understand the sense of what is said? And do you not remember? (AMPC) \nGod is always speaking. If you don’t talk to Him regularly\, His sound becomes white noise.  \nIsaiah 28:23 Listen and hear my voice; pay attention and hear what I say. (NIV) \nIsaiah 30:21 Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say\, “This is the way you should go\, whether to the right or to the left.” (NLT) \nEffectual and fervent prayer\, coming from a pure heart\, brings you close and opens your ears. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I want my armor to be in full working condition. I repent for allowing it to get in disrepair. I know it has to be in mint condition if I am going to be effective for You. Thank You for showing me how to clean off the rust\, patch the holes\, and smooth out the kinks. It brings me joy to spend time in Your presence. You open my ears of understanding. You point out to me what I need to do and where I need to go. You show me the obstacles I wouldn’t see without You. I thank You for loving me and caring about me. I want You to call me friend. It means You can trust me with information\, knowing I will do the God-like thing with it. I believe You want to call me friend as well. I am submitting myself to You. Please do in me what needs to be done. Teach me how to pray character building and life transforming prayers that will cause You to call me friend… \n  \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Mark 10:48
DESCRIPTION:Mark 10:48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal\, Thou Son of David\, have mercy on me. (KJV) \nWho is holding on to the end of your rope? \nWhen you are truly desperate\, no one can stop you from getting the help you need. Why is it you have to do everything you know to do\, first? Do you find the answer when you read self-help and inspirational books\, watch motivational videos\, talk to the spiritual people you respect\, and even talk to non-spiritual people you think are wise? Usually\, the answer is no. Finally\, you say\, “I give up”. Then you go to God. It is unfortunate that most of the time\, you have to get to the end of your rope. When you’ve exhausted yourself\, which\, by the way\, is the best place to be. He is there. \n2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And He said to me\, “My grace is sufficient for you\, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities\, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities\, in reproaches\, in needs\, in persecutions\, in distresses\, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak\, then I am strong. (NKJV) \nSpend more time in presence of the Lord. You will talk to Him about everything\, seek Him for answers\, and wait to hear what He has to say. Then\, when you have a problem\, you will go to Him first\, without all the detours. \nProverbs 3:5-7 Lean on\, trust in\, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 In all your ways know\, recognize\, and acknowledge Him\, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. 7 Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. (AMPC) \nWhether you go to Him first or after trying to fix it on your own\, you need to be at the end of you. Otherwise\, you will still try to “help” God resolve your situation. God is your answer and you know it. Why is it\, a good bit of the time\, you don’t act like it? However\, when you are in an extreme place\, you are like a fanatic. You won’t allow anything to get in your way. It is sad you have to be overwhelmed before you call on God. He is there\, at the end of your rope. What a powerful weapon.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I repent for thinking there was a way I could fix any problem without Your guidance. I know You are the ultimate and complete answer to everything even though I don’t always act like it. Thank You for bringing me back from wherever I was and reminding me my desperation for You should be continual; not just when I am overwrought with anxiety. I should seek You\, for Your answers\, for Your love\, and Your guidance. I don’t have all the information needed to make the best decision unless I get them from You. I don’t want to be at the end of my rope when I come to You. I want to come to You\, at all times\, for all things… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 1:1
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly\, nor standeth in the way of sinners\, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. (KJV) \nAre you blessed? \nYou serve an amazing God. He chose you\, knowing who you were and what you would and would not do. He made a way for you to be blessed. He gave you the key. When you want to be blessed: \n\nYou don’t ask for advice from people who don’t love God. \n\nProverbs 4:19 The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble. (NKJV) \n\nWhy? Because you know they will not use God’s truth and love to help solve a problem. \n\nProverbs 14:12 You can rationalize it all you want and justify the path of error you have chosen\, but you’ll find out in the end that you took the road to destruction. (TPT) \n\nYou also don’t ask for advice from people who say they love God\, but don’t live like it. \n\nPsalms 64:2 Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked\, From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity. (NKJV) \n\nWhy? Because you may make the mistake of having a best friend who is unsaved or carnal. Their motivation is self-serving (refer to item 1.)\n\nMatthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other\, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon”. (NKJV) \n\nYou don’t frequent places where sinners congregate and fellowship. \n\nEphesians 5:11 Take no part in and have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds and enterprises of darkness\, but instead [let your lives be so in contrast as to] expose and reprove and convict them. (AMPC) \n\nWhy? Because you don’t want to damage your witness. I know you go to the club to evangelize. How many have you led to the Lord? Birds of a feather flock together. \n\n2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them\, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? (AMPC) \n\nYou don’t join with those who see life from a place of disdain and criticism. \n\nJeremiah 15:17 I did not sit in the assembly of the mockers\, Nor did I rejoice; I sat alone because of Your hand\, For You have filled me with indignation. (NKJV) \n\nWhy? Because you know God has provided peace and an expected end for the best life you can have. There is no place for negative talk in the life of a believer. \n\nColossians 4:6 Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation\, not put them down\, not cut them out. (MSG) \nPsalms 1:1 arms you with what you need for the blessings of God to flow continually. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, thank You for blessing me. Thank You for giving me the key to receive Your blessings without end. I repent when I did not get my advice from You and You alone. I know it should not come from those who do not have respect for You and Your way. I don’t want You to always see me in places with people who don’t love You. I don’t want to cause anyone to stumble\, thinking my love for You is not real. I don’t want to look at life from a perspective of anger and disappointment. Your word says: all things work together for the good\, to those who love You and are the called according to Your purpose. I love You and I am called according to Your purpose. “All things” means my life and everything I encounter as I live it. I bless Your name… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Kings 19:21
DESCRIPTION:1 Kings 19:21 So Elisha returned to his oxen and slaughtered them. He used the wood from the plow to build a fire to roast their flesh. He passed around the meat to the townspeople\, and they all ate. Then he went with Elijah as his assistant. (NKJV) \nDo you still have your own provision made? \nIn 1 Kings 19: 19-21\, Elisha destroyed all that he associated with his former life when he heeded God’s call. He did not want to leave anything behind to go back to if things got hard. Your commitment to God has to be complete. If you try to do this halfway\, it will not work.  \nLuke 14:33 “Simply put\, if you’re not willing to take what is dearest to you\, whether plans or people\, and kiss it good-bye\, you can’t be my disciple”. (MSG) \nEven with full commitment\, the enemy is always looking for ways to trip you up. If he gets in a good hit\, don’t turn back. Take the provision God has provided and keep moving forward.  \n1 Corinthians 10:13 We all experience times of testing\, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity\, nature\, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more\, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously. (TPT) \nDestroy your ties to those things you feel will be your comfort zone to return to. That means relationships\, habits\, places you frequented\, etc. Don’t give yourself a way out. \nJohn 6:67-68 Then said Jesus unto the twelve\, will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him\, Lord\, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. (KJV) \nWhen all you have is what God provides for you\, you are in the right place. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for teaching me to get rid of anything I think I might\, even if only possibly\, use as a crutch or a Plan B. I don’t want an easy path back to my comfort zone. I want to be in Your perfect will and under Your provision. I know sometimes I don’t understand what’s going on. I repent for being like the children of Israel\, thinking it would be better if I had just stayed in Egypt. I know those are thoughts the enemy plants in my mind. I have to bring them under subjection to Your authority. There’s nowhere else for me to go\, as Simon Peter said. If I’m not with You\, where am I going to be. I know who You are. I know I cannot make it without You. Help me cast down every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of Your amazing power and will for my life. Help me stand strong when it gets hard and commit myself to You wholeheartedly… \n  \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 4:18
DESCRIPTION:1 John 4:18 Fear cannot co-exist in this love realm. The perfect love union that we are talking about expels fear. Fear holds on to an expectation of crisis and judgment [which brings separation] and interpret it as due punishment [a form of karma!] It echoes torment and only registers in someone who does not realize the completeness of their love union [with the Father\, Son and Spirit and with one another.] (TMB) \nWhat is your heart filled with? \nBeing stifled by fear can become a habit. You can also make a habit of allowing self-pity\, defeat\, anxiety\, despair\, hopelessness\, and resignation to govern your response to life. You can eliminate all of these negative habits by walking in the love of God. Though this statement may sound insensitive and impossible\, it is true. All you have to do is choose. There is only space for one choice in your heart. You will either fill it with fear or the peace God has provided. There will be times when the enemy will try to make you feel fear. Here is another acronym for fear: \n\nF-Favored\n\nRomans 1:5-6 It is through Him that we have received grace (God’s unmerited favor) and [our] apostleship to promote obedience to the faith and make disciples for His name’s sake among all the nations\, 6 And this includes you\, called of Jesus Christ and invited [as you are] to belong to Him. (AMPC) \n\nE-Empowered\n\n1 Corinthians 12:11 All these things [the gifts\, the achievements\, the abilities\, the empowering] are brought about by one and the same [Holy] Spirit\, distributing to each one individually just as He chooses. (AMP) \n\nA-Accepted\n\nEphesians 1:6 to the praise of the glory of His grace\, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. (NKJV) \n\nR-Renewed\n\nEphesians 4:22-24 that\, regarding your previous way of life\, you put off your old self [completely discard your former nature]\, which is being corrupted through deceitful desires\, 23 and be continually renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh\, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude]\, 24 and put on the new self [the regenerated and renewed nature]\, created in God’s image\, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth [living in a way that expresses to God your gratitude for your salvation]. (AMP) \nDon’t accept the sense of fear\, the enemy sent. Say to yourself\, “I am not afraid; I am favored; I am empowered; I am accepted; and I am renewed”. Arm yourself with the truth. Your heavenly Father is with you always. He will never leave you\, nor forsake you. Stand against destructive words and defeating thoughts. \n2 Corinthians 10:5 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture\, like prisoners of war\, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. (TPT) \nReplace destructive emotions with cheerfulness\, gratitude\, inspiration\, confidence\, excitement\, hope\, joy\, optimism\, boldness\, and any other positive emotion you can name. \n2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power\, and of love\, and of a sound mind. (KJV) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for teaching me to walk in Your truth and Your love. I don’t have to be afraid. I have to stop making room for anxiety and anguish. I repent for every time I allowed those feelings to overtake me. I know they show up because I allow them to. They stay because I do not fight them. Help me cast down every imagination\, word\, argument\, idea\, philosophy\, thought\, and emotion that stands in opposition to Your word. Please continue to remind me to stand on the truth\, not on what I feel. There is no room in my mind for both negativity and Your love. Help me choose You always. Your love gets rid of my tendency to see things from the wrong perspective. Your love allows me to look at what seems like a damaging thing\, and see how You can change the outcome to make me better. What the enemy means for my destruction\, You can use to be a blessing to me and bring glory to Your name. I am the only one who stands in the way. I must change my attitude about the circumstances and situations I encounter. If I do\, I will see and receive Your blessings. You are the source of my joy and of my peace. You give me the assurance of a life full of blessings from You. Thank You for this instruction and revelation… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Luke 21:36
DESCRIPTION:Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore\, and pray always\, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass\, and to stand before the Son of man. (KJV) \nWill you be ready? \nThe Bible encourages\, admonishes\, and commands you to be ready at all times. You can read the signs of the times that speak of Jesus’ return\, just like the disciples could.  \n1 Thessalonians 5:4 But you\, believers\, [all you who believe in Christ as Savior and acknowledge Him as God’s Son] are not in spiritual darkness [nor held by its power]\, that the day [of judgment] would overtake you [by surprise] like a thief. (Amplified Bible\, AMP) \nYou should be aware of what is going on around you. However\, you should not lose sight of your assignment. If you are not careful\, you can get entangled with life and all of its affairs. You can spend such an enormous amount of time fighting in the natural. Which means you will spend less and less time in the presence of the Lord\, where you learn to fight in the spirit.  \n2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier in active service gets entangled in the [ordinary business] affairs of civilian life; [he avoids them] so that he may please the one who enlisted him to serve. (Amplified Bible\, AMP) \nThere are some additional affects to being concerned with the affairs of life. You pray less\, only when it is convenient\, and/or when you are in distress. You use church as your Bible study\, worship time\, praise time\, etc. because you have convinced yourself you don’t have any other time available. Your goals\, your job\, and what you want to accomplish in life become your priority. \nMark 4:19 Then the cares and anxieties of the world and distractions of the age\, and the pleasure and delight and false glamour and deceitfulness of riches\, and the craving and passionate desire for other things creep in and choke and suffocate the Word\, and it becomes fruitless. (AMPC) \nIf this is a description of your current walk\, you will not be ready. There is nothing wrong with discerning the times. However\, don’t just look at what is going on around you. Look at what is going on within you. \n2 Corinthians 13:5 Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don’t drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need firsthand evidence\, not mere hearsay\, that Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out. If you fail the test\, do something about it. (MSG) \nBe diligent in your pursuit of God. Then you will know\, with assurance\, you will be ready when Christ returns. The world would like to convince you all you believe is a myth. Do you want to still be here after the rapture? \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I want to be ready when Jesus returns. I know He is soon to return because I look at the things happening every day. While looking at the world\, I also take time to look at my life. I ask myself what I have accomplished. I tell myself it is natural for me to set personal goals that I want to achieve and be proud of. I repent for those times when my desire to fulfill my personal goals caused me to risk not fulfilling Your spiritual ones. I am sorry I was not spending enough time; I was not spending dedicated time; and I was not spending consecrated time with You. I don’t want to fit You in or talk to You whenever I get a chance. That is a dangerous way to live. I will set aside time to be in Your presence. I will set aside time to study Your word. I want You to count me worthy. You reward the diligent. I will be diligent in seeking You. I want to hear You and know it’s You speaking\, because we have a relationship. Thank You for the command. Help me heed it… \n\nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:11
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God\, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (KJV) \nAre you in your foxhole? \nA foxhole is a Defensive Fighting Position (DFP) used by the military when soldiers are at war. The DFP serves as protection when attacking and being attacked. Developing and maintaining the DFP is a constant and ongoing task for soldiers deployed in combat areas. The soldiers don’t take off their gear and only put it on when they hear gunfire. They wear it constantly until they are no longer in the foxhole.  \nAs a believer\, you should have the same way of living. You will be in a DFP until Jesus returns. You are to develop and maintain your armor. There is no time to “lay your religion to the side”\, no time to take it off and put it back on for whatever reason you think you should. You put it on\, and it stays on. As God’s servant\, a soldier in His army\, you are to remain in the foxhole. Let’s use 2 Corinthians 6:4-10 (The Passion Translation TPT) to identify what that means. \n\nYou don’t lose courage in a time of stress and calamity. \nYou stand when beaten by life\, imprisoned by your fears and struggles\, and during the battles you fight in your mind.\nYou endure many troubles\, sleepless nights\, and even hunger. \nYou prove yourselves by your lifestyle of purity\, by your spiritual insight\, by your patience\, and by showing kindness. \nYou have uncritical love. \nYou make yourself known because of your truthful teachings\, validated by the power of God working through you.\nYou wear the whole armor of God and use the mighty weapons of righteousness—a sword in one hand and a shield in the other. \nYou remain steadfast and true whether honored or dishonored\, slandered or praised\, called deceitful or honest\, and recognized as a Christian or an imposter.\nYou are an unknown whom everyone knows. \nYou are frequently at death’s door\, yet you are still alive.\nYou have been severely punished yet not executed. \nYou may suffer\, yet in every season\, they always find you rejoicing. \nYou may be poor\, yet you give great riches to many. \nYou seem to have nothing\, yet in reality you possess all things.\n\n  \nAlways remember\, you are in the foxhole because the devil is unrelenting and your part in the spiritual war does not end until Jesus returns. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I know I have said many times\, “the enemy is always on his job”. I have often followed that comment with\, “we’re not always on our job”. I repent for every time I was not on my job. I want to be on the job\, period. I don’t want You to grant me leave\, furlough\, or time off. I certainly don’t want to be discharged. I don’t want my armor to be something I take off and put on\, depending on what’s going on in my life. I want to live in it. Thank You for the revelation that I am in a foxhole. I am fully armed\, at all times\, completely ready for whatever the next situation is. The enemy will not catch me unaware. Being in a defensive fighting position gives me the ability to see the enemy from afar off. Then\, I can use the strategy You have given me. Having on my armor gives me the ability to stop him or prevent him from doing any permanent damage. I know what to do and I can be victorious. Thank You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:
