SUMMARY:Ephesians 2:22
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 2:22 In him you are co-constructed together as God’s permanent spiritual residence. You are God’s address! (TMB) \nAre you God’s address? \nOne of the major ways you validate residency is with your address. You can’t get a driver’s license\, social security card\, passport or any other legal document until you can prove where you live. It is not enough to say you live there; you have to show official mail with your name and address on it. There has to be evidence of your residence.  \nSometimes you see a house and you wonder does anyone live there. You wonder because someone boarded the house up; windows are cracked\, shutters broken\, etc. You may even see a house that has a well-kept yard\, an immaculate paint job\, was just built or fully renovated and still you can wonder if anyone lives there. \n1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you\, whom you have [received as a gift] from God\, and that you are not your own [property]? (AMP) \nWhat kind of house do you have? If someone was driving through your neighborhood\, could they tell who is living there. \n\nWould he wonder if God is living there?\n\nRomans 1:29-31Their sinful lives became full of every kind of evil\, wicked schemes\, greed\, and cruelty. Their hearts overflowed with jealous cravings\, and with conflict and strife\, which drove them into hateful arguments and murder. They are deceitful liars full of hostility. They are gossips 30 who love to spread malicious slander. With inflated egos they hurl hateful insults at God\, yet they are nothing more than arrogant boasters. They are rebels against their parents and totally immoral. 31 They are senseless\, faithless\, ruthless\, heartless\, and completely merciless. (TPT) \n\nWould she be able to see that God is living there?\n\n 2 Peter 1:5-8 For this very reason\, adding your diligence [to the divine promises]\, employ every effort in exercising your faith to develop virtue (excellence\, resolution\, Christian energy)\, and in [exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge (intelligence)\, 6 And in [exercising] knowledge [develop] self-control\, and in [exercising] self-control [develop] steadfastness (patience\, endurance)\, and in [exercising] steadfastness [develop] godliness (piety)\, 7 And in [exercising] godliness [develop] brotherly affection\, and in [exercising] brotherly affection [develop] Christian love. 8 For as these qualities are yours and increasingly abound in you\, they will keep [you] from being idle or unfruitful unto the [full personal] knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah\, the Anointed One). (AMPC) \n\nWould they think God is there when He really isn’t?\n\nMatthew 23:27-28 “Woe to you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly\, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men\, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. (NKJV) \nWhen you give instead of taking\, forgive instead of holding a grudge\, bless instead of curse\, love instead of hate; your lifestyle is evidence of God’s habitation. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, You have made me Your habitation. You live in me. I became Your residence when I accepted Your invitation to salvation. My lifestyle\, my desire and my heart are to please You. I repent for those days I fall short. If I’m the only Bible someone will ever read\, I want the text to be accurate. I want people to come to me and find You. It is not enough for me to say I’m a Christian. It is not enough for me to carry a Bible and have Scriptures on my wall or my desk at work. Banners\, pins\, and stickers mean nothing if my life does not line up. The words have to ring true in my thoughts\, my speech and my actions. I have to be believable for those who don’t know You. My life has to say\, “God lives in me”… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:17
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:17b and the sword of the Spirit\, which is the word of God. (KJV) \nHow are you using the word? \nArmed with the word of God\, there is nothing you cannot do.  \n2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction\, for conviction [of sin]\, for correction [of error and restoration to obedience]\, for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will\, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; 17 so that the man (servant) of God may be complete and proficient\, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work. (AMP\, edited) \nHaving your assignment\, from the Father\, stopped is not even a consideration. Just as Jesus used the word when the enemy came to tempt Him\, you have to do the same. You must say with confidence\, “it is written.” You cannot get that kind of confidence just by reading the Bible. You have to study it\, memorize it and apply it to your life.  \n2 Timothy 2:15 Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial)\, a workman who has no cause to be ashamed\, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth. (AMPC) \nIt is not enough to go to church and listen to the revelations God gave to pastors and elders. You have to get your own. The word has many purposes in the life of the Christian. In addition to what we read in 2 Timothy 3:16-17\, it also lights your path (Psalm 119:105); gives you wisdom (Colossians 3:16)\, increases your faith (Romans 10:17)\, and sustains your joy (Jeremiah 15:16). The word will bless you (Luke 11:28).  \nThe word is your foundational for what you believe\, your principles\, and your education. Use the weapon God gave you to establish everything you think\, do\, and say. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, You are the Word. I thank You\, I can run to the word. I know I will find answers to any and every problem\, dilemma\, or situation I will ever face. Whether the concern is spiritual\, family related\, about relationships\, or concerning business; the answer is in the Word. I thank You for it. I don’t have to guess what to do. I don’t have to figure out how to respond. I repent for those times when I tried to move according to my wisdom. Experiences\, whether I saw them as tough or easy\, have taught me to go to Your Word. I thank You because I use Your Word to lift and not tear down. You guide my tongue to make sure I bless and enrich those I speak to. I thank You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Peter 4:7
DESCRIPTION:1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober\, and watch unto prayer. (KJV) \nAre you ready for the end of all things? \nHow often do you hear the statement “The end is near” or “The Lord is soon to return”? What does it mean to you? How does it affect you? People have been saying one or both statements for 100’s of years. They will continue to say them for 100’s more\, unless Jesus returns. Believers often use those statements when something morally\, ethically and/or socially degrading happens (a sign of the times). Whether or not you are marking events\, the end is coming.  \nJames 5:8-9 You also be patient. Establish your hearts\, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 9 Do not grumble against one another\, brethren\, lest you be condemned. Behold\, the Judge is standing at the door! (NKJV) \nReflecting on the time of Jesus’ return should bring a sense of joy. It marks the end of suffering\, hurting\, pain\, sinning\, and needing to repent. The battle will be over\, and the victory will be won. Heaven is in view. \nRevelation 21:3-5 I heard a loud shout from the throne\, saying\, “Look\, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them\, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes\, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” 5 And the one sitting on the throne said\, “Look\, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me\, “Write this down\, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” (NLT) \nTo prepare for this time\, you should be self-controlled in all things\, showing forgiveness\, loving at a greater dimension\, and continuing in prayer.  \nHebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider and give attentive\, continuous care to watching over one another\, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities\, 25 Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers]\, as is the habit of some people\, but admonishing (warning\, urging\, and encouraging) one another\, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching. (AMPC) \nYou are still the only bible some will read. As you prepare\, help someone else prepare as well. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I look forward to the return of Jesus and to coming home to be with You. I repent for those days when I allowed the state of the world and the things happening in it to make me sad. I have finally come to the place where I no longer get depressed over what I see. I have joy. I look until I see Your hand at work\, and I have peace. What I feel is not morbid or suicidal\, it’s just true. This world will end\, and I will be with You forever. I love the life You have given me. I will work and serve until You return. My divine purpose is to reconcile the world to You and we all will spend eternity in heaven. This change in perspective and attitude is such a relief. I am no longer holding on to this life like it is all I have. I will do what You sent me to do until Jesus returns. I am filled with unspeakable joy. I wait in confident anticipation. I have a blessed assurance of His return.… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 3:18
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth\, and length\, and depth\, and height. (KJV) \nDo you understand God’s love? \nWhat is your response to the question? Most believers would say\, “Of course I understand God’s love”. Can you explain it to someone who does not understand love at all? In the movie\, Meet Joe Black\, William Parish tries to explain what love is: \nWilliam Parrish: Trust\, responsibility\, taking the weight for your choices and feelings\, and spending the rest of your life living up to them. And above all\, not hurting the object of your love. \nJoe Black: So that’s what love is\, according to William Parrish? \nWilliam Parrish: Multiply it by infinity\, and take it to the depth of forever\, and you will still have barely a glimpse of what I’m talking about. \nThat is a pretty good definition. However\, there is still much more. If you tried to give an explanation\, how would you do it? Would you give them a scripture? \nJohn 3:16 For God so loved the world\, that he gave his only begotten Son\, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish\, but have everlasting life. (KJV) \nHow would you make the definition personal? Would you begin with your experiences with the love of God? Would you share how He demonstrated His love in your life? Would you talk about some pivotal encounters with Him that deepened your understanding of His love? Would you testify to how much more you show your love for Him and to others because of those encounters? Would you say they would understand better if they read the Bible and talked to other believers? While explaining God’s love\, it is important to make sure you let them know that is not like the love human beings give. It does not come and go depending on feeling and trials and tribulations of life. \nTrying to explain the love of God can be a daunting task because His love is so overwhelming. A person could read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. By some miracle\, they could speak to every Christian\, past\, present\, and future\, to hear their experiences with Him. Even then\, even then\, they would only get a fragment of the knowledge needed to explain and understand the vastness of God’s love. Paul tried to provide a deeper understanding.  \nRomans 8:38-39 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death\, life’s troubles\, fallen angels\, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. 39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love\, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus\, the Anointed One! (TPT) \nBefore you end the explanation\, here is a quote you can use: \nGod’s love goes beyond what you were and what you have done; who you are and what you are doing; and who you will be and what you might do. It covers you completely and presents you\, without a single flaw\, before the Father. Dr. Pamela Russell \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I can talk about Your love. I can write about Your love\, preach about it\, and teach on it. When it really gets down to it\, I only have a glimpse. What I know is only the tip of the iceberg. Even in this lesson\, I repent if I left the reader thinking I had “the” answer. I only have the best answer I can give up to this point. The magnitude of Your love for me\, and the entire universe\, goes beyond my ability to comprehend or express\, yet I try. However\, I don’t leave it as the last try. I search for a deeper understanding of Your love\, every day. In my quest\, I fall more in love with You. When I think about what You do because You love me and what You do because You love the world\, there is nothing to compare it to. There is no frame of reference. There is nothing I have or ever will experience that would help me make sense of it. To say that I am in awe of Your love; I am overwhelmed by Your love; and I am consumed by Your love are just words that my intellect can understand\, though my heart struggles to. It is full to the bursting point. I do my best to accept Your love\, embrace Your love\, and show You my gratitude for Your love… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 6:5
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest\, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets\, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you\, they have their reward. (KJV) \nWhat type of prayers are you praying? \nArmor with holes\, kinks\, rust spots\, etc. does not work well. Prayer is the oil\, the mender\, the forge and blacksmith keeping the armor working. Because of prayer\, which is your communication with God\, you can miss the pitfalls\, the stumbling blocks\, and any other things that can damage your armor.  \nPsalms 107:6-7 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble\, And He delivered them out of their distresses. 7 And He led them forth by the right way\, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place. (NKJV) \nYou want your prayers to build a relationship between you and God. When you spend time worshiping\, praying\, and sitting in the presence of Lord\, you transition from servant to friend.  \n2 Corinthians 13:9b We also pray for this\, that you be made complete [fully restored\, growing and maturing in godly character and spirit—pleasing your heavenly Father by the life you live]. (AMP) \nGod is always trying to show you the pitfalls and cause you to learn from what you have already experienced. However\, when you are far from Him\, you don’t listen\, and you don’t see.  \nMark 8:17b-18 Do you not yet discern or understand? Are your hearts in [a settled state of] hardness? 18 Having eyes\, do you not see [with them]\, and having ears\, do you not hear and perceive and understand the sense of what is said? And do you not remember? (AMPC) \nGod is always speaking. If you don’t talk to Him regularly\, His sound becomes white noise.  \nIsaiah 28:23 Listen and hear my voice; pay attention and hear what I say. (NIV) \nIsaiah 30:21 Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say\, “This is the way you should go\, whether to the right or to the left.” (NLT) \nEffectual and fervent prayer\, coming from a pure heart\, brings you close and opens your ears. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I want my armor to be in full working condition. I repent for allowing it to get in disrepair. I know it has to be in mint condition if I am going to be effective for You. Thank You for showing me how to clean off the rust\, patch the holes\, and smooth out the kinks. It brings me joy to spend time in Your presence. You open my ears of understanding. You point out to me what I need to do and where I need to go. You show me the obstacles I wouldn’t see without You. I thank You for loving me and caring about me. I want You to call me friend. It means You can trust me with information\, knowing I will do the God-like thing with it. I believe You want to call me friend as well. I am submitting myself to You. Please do in me what needs to be done. Teach me how to pray character building and life transforming prayers that will cause You to call me friend… \n  \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Mark 10:48
DESCRIPTION:Mark 10:48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal\, Thou Son of David\, have mercy on me. (KJV) \nWho is holding on to the end of your rope? \nWhen you are truly desperate\, no one can stop you from getting the help you need. Why is it you have to do everything you know to do\, first? Do you find the answer when you read self-help and inspirational books\, watch motivational videos\, talk to the spiritual people you respect\, and even talk to non-spiritual people you think are wise? Usually\, the answer is no. Finally\, you say\, “I give up”. Then you go to God. It is unfortunate that most of the time\, you have to get to the end of your rope. When you’ve exhausted yourself\, which\, by the way\, is the best place to be. He is there. \n2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And He said to me\, “My grace is sufficient for you\, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities\, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities\, in reproaches\, in needs\, in persecutions\, in distresses\, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak\, then I am strong. (NKJV) \nSpend more time in presence of the Lord. You will talk to Him about everything\, seek Him for answers\, and wait to hear what He has to say. Then\, when you have a problem\, you will go to Him first\, without all the detours. \nProverbs 3:5-7 Lean on\, trust in\, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 In all your ways know\, recognize\, and acknowledge Him\, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. 7 Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. (AMPC) \nWhether you go to Him first or after trying to fix it on your own\, you need to be at the end of you. Otherwise\, you will still try to “help” God resolve your situation. God is your answer and you know it. Why is it\, a good bit of the time\, you don’t act like it? However\, when you are in an extreme place\, you are like a fanatic. You won’t allow anything to get in your way. It is sad you have to be overwhelmed before you call on God. He is there\, at the end of your rope. What a powerful weapon.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I repent for thinking there was a way I could fix any problem without Your guidance. I know You are the ultimate and complete answer to everything even though I don’t always act like it. Thank You for bringing me back from wherever I was and reminding me my desperation for You should be continual; not just when I am overwrought with anxiety. I should seek You\, for Your answers\, for Your love\, and Your guidance. I don’t have all the information needed to make the best decision unless I get them from You. I don’t want to be at the end of my rope when I come to You. I want to come to You\, at all times\, for all things… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 1:1
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly\, nor standeth in the way of sinners\, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. (KJV) \nAre you blessed? \nYou serve an amazing God. He chose you\, knowing who you were and what you would and would not do. He made a way for you to be blessed. He gave you the key. When you want to be blessed: \n\nYou don’t ask for advice from people who don’t love God. \n\nProverbs 4:19 The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble. (NKJV) \n\nWhy? Because you know they will not use God’s truth and love to help solve a problem. \n\nProverbs 14:12 You can rationalize it all you want and justify the path of error you have chosen\, but you’ll find out in the end that you took the road to destruction. (TPT) \n\nYou also don’t ask for advice from people who say they love God\, but don’t live like it. \n\nPsalms 64:2 Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked\, From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity. (NKJV) \n\nWhy? Because you may make the mistake of having a best friend who is unsaved or carnal. Their motivation is self-serving (refer to item 1.)\n\nMatthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other\, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon”. (NKJV) \n\nYou don’t frequent places where sinners congregate and fellowship. \n\nEphesians 5:11 Take no part in and have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds and enterprises of darkness\, but instead [let your lives be so in contrast as to] expose and reprove and convict them. (AMPC) \n\nWhy? Because you don’t want to damage your witness. I know you go to the club to evangelize. How many have you led to the Lord? Birds of a feather flock together. \n\n2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them\, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? (AMPC) \n\nYou don’t join with those who see life from a place of disdain and criticism. \n\nJeremiah 15:17 I did not sit in the assembly of the mockers\, Nor did I rejoice; I sat alone because of Your hand\, For You have filled me with indignation. (NKJV) \n\nWhy? Because you know God has provided peace and an expected end for the best life you can have. There is no place for negative talk in the life of a believer. \n\nColossians 4:6 Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation\, not put them down\, not cut them out. (MSG) \nPsalms 1:1 arms you with what you need for the blessings of God to flow continually. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, thank You for blessing me. Thank You for giving me the key to receive Your blessings without end. I repent when I did not get my advice from You and You alone. I know it should not come from those who do not have respect for You and Your way. I don’t want You to always see me in places with people who don’t love You. I don’t want to cause anyone to stumble\, thinking my love for You is not real. I don’t want to look at life from a perspective of anger and disappointment. Your word says: all things work together for the good\, to those who love You and are the called according to Your purpose. I love You and I am called according to Your purpose. “All things” means my life and everything I encounter as I live it. I bless Your name… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Kings 19:21
DESCRIPTION:1 Kings 19:21 So Elisha returned to his oxen and slaughtered them. He used the wood from the plow to build a fire to roast their flesh. He passed around the meat to the townspeople\, and they all ate. Then he went with Elijah as his assistant. (NKJV) \nDo you still have your own provision made? \nIn 1 Kings 19: 19-21\, Elisha destroyed all that he associated with his former life when he heeded God’s call. He did not want to leave anything behind to go back to if things got hard. Your commitment to God has to be complete. If you try to do this halfway\, it will not work.  \nLuke 14:33 “Simply put\, if you’re not willing to take what is dearest to you\, whether plans or people\, and kiss it good-bye\, you can’t be my disciple”. (MSG) \nEven with full commitment\, the enemy is always looking for ways to trip you up. If he gets in a good hit\, don’t turn back. Take the provision God has provided and keep moving forward.  \n1 Corinthians 10:13 We all experience times of testing\, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity\, nature\, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more\, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously. (TPT) \nDestroy your ties to those things you feel will be your comfort zone to return to. That means relationships\, habits\, places you frequented\, etc. Don’t give yourself a way out. \nJohn 6:67-68 Then said Jesus unto the twelve\, will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him\, Lord\, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. (KJV) \nWhen all you have is what God provides for you\, you are in the right place. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for teaching me to get rid of anything I think I might\, even if only possibly\, use as a crutch or a Plan B. I don’t want an easy path back to my comfort zone. I want to be in Your perfect will and under Your provision. I know sometimes I don’t understand what’s going on. I repent for being like the children of Israel\, thinking it would be better if I had just stayed in Egypt. I know those are thoughts the enemy plants in my mind. I have to bring them under subjection to Your authority. There’s nowhere else for me to go\, as Simon Peter said. If I’m not with You\, where am I going to be. I know who You are. I know I cannot make it without You. Help me cast down every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of Your amazing power and will for my life. Help me stand strong when it gets hard and commit myself to You wholeheartedly… \n  \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 4:18
DESCRIPTION:1 John 4:18 Fear cannot co-exist in this love realm. The perfect love union that we are talking about expels fear. Fear holds on to an expectation of crisis and judgment [which brings separation] and interpret it as due punishment [a form of karma!] It echoes torment and only registers in someone who does not realize the completeness of their love union [with the Father\, Son and Spirit and with one another.] (TMB) \nWhat is your heart filled with? \nBeing stifled by fear can become a habit. You can also make a habit of allowing self-pity\, defeat\, anxiety\, despair\, hopelessness\, and resignation to govern your response to life. You can eliminate all of these negative habits by walking in the love of God. Though this statement may sound insensitive and impossible\, it is true. All you have to do is choose. There is only space for one choice in your heart. You will either fill it with fear or the peace God has provided. There will be times when the enemy will try to make you feel fear. Here is another acronym for fear: \n\nF-Favored\n\nRomans 1:5-6 It is through Him that we have received grace (God’s unmerited favor) and [our] apostleship to promote obedience to the faith and make disciples for His name’s sake among all the nations\, 6 And this includes you\, called of Jesus Christ and invited [as you are] to belong to Him. (AMPC) \n\nE-Empowered\n\n1 Corinthians 12:11 All these things [the gifts\, the achievements\, the abilities\, the empowering] are brought about by one and the same [Holy] Spirit\, distributing to each one individually just as He chooses. (AMP) \n\nA-Accepted\n\nEphesians 1:6 to the praise of the glory of His grace\, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. (NKJV) \n\nR-Renewed\n\nEphesians 4:22-24 that\, regarding your previous way of life\, you put off your old self [completely discard your former nature]\, which is being corrupted through deceitful desires\, 23 and be continually renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh\, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude]\, 24 and put on the new self [the regenerated and renewed nature]\, created in God’s image\, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth [living in a way that expresses to God your gratitude for your salvation]. (AMP) \nDon’t accept the sense of fear\, the enemy sent. Say to yourself\, “I am not afraid; I am favored; I am empowered; I am accepted; and I am renewed”. Arm yourself with the truth. Your heavenly Father is with you always. He will never leave you\, nor forsake you. Stand against destructive words and defeating thoughts. \n2 Corinthians 10:5 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture\, like prisoners of war\, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. (TPT) \nReplace destructive emotions with cheerfulness\, gratitude\, inspiration\, confidence\, excitement\, hope\, joy\, optimism\, boldness\, and any other positive emotion you can name. \n2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power\, and of love\, and of a sound mind. (KJV) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for teaching me to walk in Your truth and Your love. I don’t have to be afraid. I have to stop making room for anxiety and anguish. I repent for every time I allowed those feelings to overtake me. I know they show up because I allow them to. They stay because I do not fight them. Help me cast down every imagination\, word\, argument\, idea\, philosophy\, thought\, and emotion that stands in opposition to Your word. Please continue to remind me to stand on the truth\, not on what I feel. There is no room in my mind for both negativity and Your love. Help me choose You always. Your love gets rid of my tendency to see things from the wrong perspective. Your love allows me to look at what seems like a damaging thing\, and see how You can change the outcome to make me better. What the enemy means for my destruction\, You can use to be a blessing to me and bring glory to Your name. I am the only one who stands in the way. I must change my attitude about the circumstances and situations I encounter. If I do\, I will see and receive Your blessings. You are the source of my joy and of my peace. You give me the assurance of a life full of blessings from You. Thank You for this instruction and revelation… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Luke 21:36
DESCRIPTION:Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore\, and pray always\, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass\, and to stand before the Son of man. (KJV) \nWill you be ready? \nThe Bible encourages\, admonishes\, and commands you to be ready at all times. You can read the signs of the times that speak of Jesus’ return\, just like the disciples could.  \n1 Thessalonians 5:4 But you\, believers\, [all you who believe in Christ as Savior and acknowledge Him as God’s Son] are not in spiritual darkness [nor held by its power]\, that the day [of judgment] would overtake you [by surprise] like a thief. (Amplified Bible\, AMP) \nYou should be aware of what is going on around you. However\, you should not lose sight of your assignment. If you are not careful\, you can get entangled with life and all of its affairs. You can spend such an enormous amount of time fighting in the natural. Which means you will spend less and less time in the presence of the Lord\, where you learn to fight in the spirit.  \n2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier in active service gets entangled in the [ordinary business] affairs of civilian life; [he avoids them] so that he may please the one who enlisted him to serve. (Amplified Bible\, AMP) \nThere are some additional affects to being concerned with the affairs of life. You pray less\, only when it is convenient\, and/or when you are in distress. You use church as your Bible study\, worship time\, praise time\, etc. because you have convinced yourself you don’t have any other time available. Your goals\, your job\, and what you want to accomplish in life become your priority. \nMark 4:19 Then the cares and anxieties of the world and distractions of the age\, and the pleasure and delight and false glamour and deceitfulness of riches\, and the craving and passionate desire for other things creep in and choke and suffocate the Word\, and it becomes fruitless. (AMPC) \nIf this is a description of your current walk\, you will not be ready. There is nothing wrong with discerning the times. However\, don’t just look at what is going on around you. Look at what is going on within you. \n2 Corinthians 13:5 Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don’t drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need firsthand evidence\, not mere hearsay\, that Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out. If you fail the test\, do something about it. (MSG) \nBe diligent in your pursuit of God. Then you will know\, with assurance\, you will be ready when Christ returns. The world would like to convince you all you believe is a myth. Do you want to still be here after the rapture? \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I want to be ready when Jesus returns. I know He is soon to return because I look at the things happening every day. While looking at the world\, I also take time to look at my life. I ask myself what I have accomplished. I tell myself it is natural for me to set personal goals that I want to achieve and be proud of. I repent for those times when my desire to fulfill my personal goals caused me to risk not fulfilling Your spiritual ones. I am sorry I was not spending enough time; I was not spending dedicated time; and I was not spending consecrated time with You. I don’t want to fit You in or talk to You whenever I get a chance. That is a dangerous way to live. I will set aside time to be in Your presence. I will set aside time to study Your word. I want You to count me worthy. You reward the diligent. I will be diligent in seeking You. I want to hear You and know it’s You speaking\, because we have a relationship. Thank You for the command. Help me heed it… \n\nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:11
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God\, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (KJV) \nAre you in your foxhole? \nA foxhole is a Defensive Fighting Position (DFP) used by the military when soldiers are at war. The DFP serves as protection when attacking and being attacked. Developing and maintaining the DFP is a constant and ongoing task for soldiers deployed in combat areas. The soldiers don’t take off their gear and only put it on when they hear gunfire. They wear it constantly until they are no longer in the foxhole.  \nAs a believer\, you should have the same way of living. You will be in a DFP until Jesus returns. You are to develop and maintain your armor. There is no time to “lay your religion to the side”\, no time to take it off and put it back on for whatever reason you think you should. You put it on\, and it stays on. As God’s servant\, a soldier in His army\, you are to remain in the foxhole. Let’s use 2 Corinthians 6:4-10 (The Passion Translation TPT) to identify what that means. \n\nYou don’t lose courage in a time of stress and calamity. \nYou stand when beaten by life\, imprisoned by your fears and struggles\, and during the battles you fight in your mind.\nYou endure many troubles\, sleepless nights\, and even hunger. \nYou prove yourselves by your lifestyle of purity\, by your spiritual insight\, by your patience\, and by showing kindness. \nYou have uncritical love. \nYou make yourself known because of your truthful teachings\, validated by the power of God working through you.\nYou wear the whole armor of God and use the mighty weapons of righteousness—a sword in one hand and a shield in the other. \nYou remain steadfast and true whether honored or dishonored\, slandered or praised\, called deceitful or honest\, and recognized as a Christian or an imposter.\nYou are an unknown whom everyone knows. \nYou are frequently at death’s door\, yet you are still alive.\nYou have been severely punished yet not executed. \nYou may suffer\, yet in every season\, they always find you rejoicing. \nYou may be poor\, yet you give great riches to many. \nYou seem to have nothing\, yet in reality you possess all things.\n\n  \nAlways remember\, you are in the foxhole because the devil is unrelenting and your part in the spiritual war does not end until Jesus returns. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I know I have said many times\, “the enemy is always on his job”. I have often followed that comment with\, “we’re not always on our job”. I repent for every time I was not on my job. I want to be on the job\, period. I don’t want You to grant me leave\, furlough\, or time off. I certainly don’t want to be discharged. I don’t want my armor to be something I take off and put on\, depending on what’s going on in my life. I want to live in it. Thank You for the revelation that I am in a foxhole. I am fully armed\, at all times\, completely ready for whatever the next situation is. The enemy will not catch me unaware. Being in a defensive fighting position gives me the ability to see the enemy from afar off. Then\, I can use the strategy You have given me. Having on my armor gives me the ability to stop him or prevent him from doing any permanent damage. I know what to do and I can be victorious. Thank You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:
