SUMMARY:John 15:9
DESCRIPTION:John 15:9 As the Father hath loved me\, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. (KJV) \nAre you continuing in Jesus’ love? \nThere is no greater demonstration of love than Jesus’ life\, crucifixion\, and resurrection. Can you really comprehend what it means to have the capacity to love as Jesus does? When you think about the love Jesus wants the Father to share with you\, are you ready for it? The Father sent Jesus to die because of His love. You have to understand you need to die also\, if you’re going to continue in Jesus’ love and mirror your life after His. Hopefully\, you won’t be crucified on a natural cross. However\, you must take up your spiritual cross and die to yourself.  \nGalatians 5:24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires. (AMPC) \nRomans 8:13 For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh\, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct\, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body\, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever. (AMPC) \nThere are things you have to be willing to give up. There are sacrifices you are going to have to “want to” make. There is no way around it because in your flesh there is no good thing. Jesus received a reward\, and you will as well. Unfortunately\, you cannot look for your ultimate reward now. Know this\, the reward is not houses\, cars\, acclaim\, fame and the world’s definition of prosperity. What Jesus wants for you is for you to have the same relationship with the Father that He has. When Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane\, he prayed: \nJohn 17:9-11 I pray for them: I pray not for the world\, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10 And all mine are thine\, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. 11 And now I am no more in the world\, but these are in the world\, and I come to thee. Holy Father\, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me\, that they may be one\, as we are. (KJV) \nJesus wants you to continue on the path ordained for you by the Father. He wants you to continue to grow and recognize those things holding you back (which often is you and not people). Let go of any weights. Allow God to manifest His glory in your life just like He did in Jesus’ life.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for the opportunity to allow Your manifested glory to be evident in my life. Because of how much You love me\, You are teaching me how to show my love in return. I know I repent for thinking I don’t have to make sacrifices. Thank You for teaching me I need to “want to” give up those things in my life that don’t glorify You. You are showing me there are things I want that really are of no lasting benefit to me\, and I thank You. As I am saying these words\, I know it is You and You only who can help me live this out. I want to walk worthy of the prayer Jesus prayed. Father\, I appreciate and love You with all my heart. I give You all the glory\, all the honor and all the praise… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Acts 11:23
DESCRIPTION:Acts 11:23 When he arrived and saw what grace (favor) God was bestowing upon them\, he was full of joy; and he continuously exhorted (warned\, urged\, and encouraged) them all to cleave unto and remain faithful to and devoted to the Lord with [resolute and steady] purpose of heart. (AMP) \nAre you inspired by your life?  \nWhat happens when you stop and reflect on your life\, thinking about where you were in Christ a week ago\, a month ago\, or a year ago\, and where you are now? Do you recognize how He has manifested Himself in your life with material blessings and in your relationship with Him? Do you have more clarity? Are you able to discern His voice? Are you more victorious over the enemy? Do you share love in a greater way? Do you have more peace? Can you think of other ways you have changed and matured because of the time you spent in prayer\, study\, and worship? If you can answer yes to these questions\, or add to this list\, you should be excited and decide to continue seeking the Lord\, yearning for even more of Him.  \nPsalms 18:19-24 God stuck by me. He stood me up on a wide-open field; I stood there saved—surprised to be loved! 20-24 God made my life complete when I placed all the pieces before him. When I got my act together\, he gave me a fresh start. Now I’m alert to God’s ways; I don’t take God for granted. Every day I review the ways he works; I try not to miss a trick. I feel put back together\, and I’m watching my step. \nGod rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes. (MSG) \nWhen you take the time to look at what God has done\, the enemy may whisper in your ear. He may tell you of your failures and your setbacks; trying to make you feel as if you have accomplished nothing. You may not be where you want to be\, however\, you are further along than you think. It gives you hope and a reason to keep spending time with the Lord. If you want something different from what you have; do something different from what you are doing. What you see in your life should encourage you and cause you to continue to trust and believe in God. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for loving me enough to show me where and how I have matured in You. I repent for allowing the enemy to torment or discourage me by reminding me who I was\, where I was\, and how I used to act. You show me the amazing changes You have made in my life. You help me see the work You have done and where You are still working in my life. All I need to do is stop and look through Your eyes. When I do\, I can see my growth\, which causes me to desire more of You and to listen to Your voice with more clarity. I am proud of what You are doing in my life and I thank You. I thank You for hope and a future. I am excited because of what lies ahead in my life with You. I thank You for showing me I am who I am because of You. The only credit I can take for my life is my obedience to Your word. I would not be the person I see in the mirror without You. Thank You because my life serves as encouragement and inspiration for me. I pray it inspires others as well… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 4:16
DESCRIPTION:1 John 4:16 And thus we have come to know and believe the love that God has unveiled within us. God is love; love is who God is; to live in this place of conscious\, constant love\, is to live immersed in God and to feel perfectly at home in his indwelling. (TMB) \nDo you demonstrate God’s love as you live? \nHave you ever said something encouraging and uplifting to someone\, whether you knew them or not\, and you felt the love of God in the words you spoke? Did it warm your heart or bring tears to your eyes? Maybe you did not stop\, in that moment\, and say\, “I really understand God’s love.” However\, you really did! You got another level of understanding about God’s love because you felt what God was sending to the person you were speaking to. \nJohn 13:34-35 So I give you a new command: Love each other deeply and fully. Remember the ways that I have loved you\, and demonstrate your love for others in those same ways. 35 Everyone will know you as My followers if you demonstrate your love to others. (TVT) \nWhat a blessing it is to know God’s love runs through your heart and to live with the assurance He is always there because He saved you. You know yourself. You know how you responded before salvation. Isn’t it great to be perfectly at peace speaking words of love and comfort? You don’t even need to take time to think about what words you will say\, because the love of God and His Spirit is saturating your life? As you continue allowing God to develop your gifts and submitting to His call\, you will begin to think\, respond\, and/or react differently from what was the norm for you. You may even ask yourself\, “Why did I do that\, say that\, or think that?” If you truly accept God’s love\, then you live in God’s love\, and God’s love lives in you. You become an extension of God’s love because of your training. Being able to show God’s love is a necessary tool as you battle the enemy and as you seek to understand who you really are. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for Your love. I am grateful for it\, and I repent for those times when I did not show my gratitude. Your love saturates me and engulfs me. I can speak\, and I hear Your love. Your love holds back the reins of my emotions and my thoughts. Your love guides me. Your love sustains me. Your love is my weapon in battle. Your love allows me to show those\, You assigned to me\, who You are and what life in You is like. You are the one true God who loves unconditionally\, and I thank You. I know Your love is absolute because it is how You love me. I am forever grateful for Your love… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 5:18
DESCRIPTION:1 John 5:18 We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning\, for God’s Son holds them securely\, and the evil one cannot touch them. (NLT) \nIs your love for God governing your behavior? \nBeing in the presence of God causes you to continue to examine yourself. It is not the image of the little devil sitting on one shoulder and the angel sitting on the other shoulder. It is you\, every day\, looking at who you are and deciding you want to live a life that honors God. Whenever the devil whispers in your ear and tells you are failing; don’t let him lie to you and don’t believe the lies. Always know Jesus holds you securely. He understands your emotions and what motivates you to respond and/or react. He ever lives to make intercession for you. He died to take failure out of the picture for you. When you live with the assurance of God’s keeping power\, you don’t make a practice of sinning.  \nEzekiel 18:20a\, “The soul that sinneth\, it shall die” (KJV)  \nHave you noticed the King James version of the Bible uses “eth” at the end of a word? Those three letters indicate something is being done continuously\, purposefully and by design; it designates a practice. “Sinneth” means you continue to sin\, without regard for the word or anything else. 1 John 5:18 states God’s children don’t live that way. The reason you don’t make a practice of sinning is because the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you and is there to not only comfort you\, to guide you\, and instruct you as well. \nIsaiah 30:20-21 Even though the Lord may allow you to go through a season of hardship and difficulty\, he himself will be there with you. He will not hide himself from you\, for your eyes will constantly see him as your Teacher. 21 When you turn to the right or turn to the left\, you will hear his voice behind you to guide you\, saying\, “This is the right path; follow it.” (TPT) \nThe Holy Spirit will help you continually evaluate your behavior. If you adhere to His instruction and follow His guidance\, you will live as God desires.   \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, the life I live\, I live in You. As I come to You in prayer\, in worship\, and in meditation\, You show me my life\, my actions\, and my thoughts. You let me know when I am a blessing to You. I repent for the times when You showed me I was not. Thank You. You have given me the Holy Spirt Who continually teaches me how to make choices that honor You. Because You have also given me free will\, it is my choice to follow His leadings. I am no longer in the practice of doing things against Your will and against Your word because I am Your child. When I stumble\, I repent and You give me chance after chance to get it right. Every day that I open my eyes is another chance You’ve given me to honor You. As long as I am breathing\, You give me the opportunity to draw closer to You and leave the world behind. Thank You for the Holy Spirit and Thank You for Your love… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Corinthians 1:4
DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 1:4 There is no contradiction of any proportion that we can possibly face that has what it takes to exasperate us or distance us from God. Our consciousness of his inseparable nearness immediately reinforces us and we extend the same support and comfort to others that we received in our difficult times\, and together we snuggle up in the comfort of the Father’s intimate embrace! (TMB\, edited) \nAre you testifying? \nHave you ever wondered why you go through the things that you go through? If so\, here is the answer. As a Christian\, please keep in mind\, your life is not your own. Everything you experience is to give you the opportunity to share what happened\, as well as what God did for you. It may have been something good; you should testify. \nPsalm 34:1-3 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof\, and be glad. 3 O magnify the Lord with me\, and let us exalt his name together. (KJV) \nIt may have been something that you had no control over; you should testify. \nJohn 9:3 Jesus answered\, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned\, but it was so that the works of God might be displayed and illustrated in him”. (AMP) \nIt may have been a hard trial that you thought was more than you could bear; you should testify. \n1 Corinthians 10:13 No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear\, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it. (NET) \nWhatever category your situation falls into\, it’s called your testimony. You use your testimony to encourage other believers.  \nRevelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb\, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (KJV) \nIt’s one thing to sympathize. Some people are grateful for your sympathy\, and some feel looked down upon. Another truly powerful emotion is the ability to empathize. Empathy is often stronger than sympathy. When you empathize\, you show you understand what another person is feeling without them having to tell you. You can say\, “I know what you’re going through; I have been there\, and this is what God did for me”. Now there is a light at the end of that person’s dark tunnel. They receive hope. A substantial part of your responsibility as a Christian is to lift Christ. There is no better way to life Jesus than by showing His power\, His love\, His concern\, and His ability to deliver.  \n Please agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for using my life to bless someone else. I thank You for every blessing. I repent for every trial I created for myself. Thank You for bringing me through. Thank You for keeping me in those times when I had no control over the struggle. I thank You for giving me the strength to stand and give a testimony to the victories You have won in my life. I know I should take every opportunity You give me to share each victory with others; I repent when I don’t. I need to give You glory because I can look back over my life and count Your blessings. Though I would never stop counting\, I can talk about it. When I stumble; You pick me up and I can talk about it. When temptation comes\, You give me a way out and I can talk about it. When the enemy comes in\, I lift You up as a standard and I can talk about it. I just bless Your Name for everything You do in my life. I thank You for every opportunity You give me to be a blessing to others… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 27:14
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 27:14 Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes\, wait for the LORD. (NLT) \nWhat is your waiting life like? \nWhen you go to God in prayer\, and you ask Him for whatever it is you ask Him for\, you then have to wait. Sometimes it’s a brief wait. Sometimes it is a long wait which makes it a heavy weight. Sometimes it’s an eternal wait for your “desired answer” because His answer is no. While you’re waiting\, you have to be strong. You wait\, knowing there is an answer to your prayer\, because you know God heard you. You can’t allow the enemy to cause you to doubt.  \nIsaiah 40:30-31 Even the youths shall faint and be weary\, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run\, and not be weary; and they shall walk\, and not faint. (KJV) \nIt is very important to look for “God’s answer”. His answer may not be the answer you are hoping for. However\, you don’t want to miss God’s answer because it isn’t what you wanted. You don’t have the big picture\, you only have the few details that you see within your finite limitations. As a result\, unless He reveals it to you\, you can’t really know the solution that fits into God’s infinite plan. \nIsaiah 55:8-9 My intentions are not always yours\, and I do not go about things as you do. 9 My thoughts and My ways are above and beyond you\, just as heaven is far from your reach here on earth. (TVT) \nAs your situation unfolds\, you will continue to communicate with Him through prayer. You will come to know God better as you wait. Waiting brings you closer\, and more importantly\, His answer does as well. Whatever the outcome\, your relationship with the Father enables you to celebrate as you wait and also recognize and celebrate when the answer comes.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for giving me the strength to wait and the understanding of how to live while I wait. I repent for acting like I should sit and rock in a chair until You do what I want. You have taught me to wait actively. I will not miss Your response because I think I know what it should be. I will continue to put one foot in front of the other. I will continue to do what I know You have already purposed for me to do. I will continue to study\, pray\, worship and bless You with my life. Father\, I thank You because I am Your sheep and I hear You clearly. If the answer is yes\, soon or no\, I will celebrate. Not just for the answer to my prayers\, I will celebrate because I know You hear me. Thank You for a voice to cry out to You\, ears to hear to You\, a heart to love You\, and the will to wait for You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Romans 5:5
DESCRIPTION:Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (KJV) \nDo you have hope? \nAs a Christian\, your hope fuels every moment\, of every day\, of your life. Sometimes people\, who don’t know Christ or who are not running hard after Christ\, evaluate your hope as foolish. Continue to live your life and walk in the hope of God. Your strength comes because you are not ashamed. It may seem irrational. It may even seem crazy. However\, you know who covers\, keeps\, and sustains you.  \n1 Peter 3:14-15 But even if you happen to suffer for doing what is right\, you will have the joyful experience of the blessing of God. And Don’t be intimidated or terrified by those who would terrify you. 15 But give reverent honor in your hearts to the Anointed One and treat him as the holy Master of your lives. And if anyone asks about the hope living within you\, always be ready to explain your faith. (TPT) \nThe power of God is what gets you up every day. Your knowledge of God and His love for you helps you live and life that shows you have hope. Why do you to turn the other cheek; pray for those who handle you inappropriately; maintain peace while storms are raging? It is because of your hope! Thank God for the Holy Ghost as He comforts\, teaches\, guides\, and serves as a constant reminder of why you have hope and where your hope lies. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for my hope. I repent for those times I walked doubt. Because of my hope\, I show love and speak peace and encouragement\, in my life and also in the lives of others. I have hope in You. Thank You for the Holy Ghost\, Who comforts me every day. He encourages me; He gives me strength\, and He fortifies my hope as I stand on Your promises. I give You glory… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Romans 8:39
DESCRIPTION:Romans 8:39 Nor height\, nor depth\, nor any other creature\, shall be able to separate us from the love of God\, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV) \nDo you feel all alone? \nThere is nothing in the heavens above nor under the earth\, no creature\, nor demonic influence that can separate you from the love of God. This is important to understand because the spiritual warfare you encounter in your everyday life\, as a believer\, is very real. The more mature in Christ you get\, as you draw closer to the Lord\, the more aware you will be. You will even begin to discern the tricks and traps of the enemy before he can spring them. Though you see him at work\, you also have to know he won’t win. It is not you or any power or authority you have. It is the love of God and the power and authority He has.  \nRomans 8:31\, 35-37 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us\, who can be against us? 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation\, or distress\, or persecution\, or famine\, or nakedness\, or peril\, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (NKJV) \nThere is no devil\, no principality\, or no power that can surpass the love God has for you. This is important to understand and believe because life can be overwhelming. You deal with things; situations happen in your life; and often you don’t understand why the things are happening\, where the problems are coming from or what God is teaching you. The enemy will tell you lies. He wants to convince you God is angry about something you did or said\, which caused Him to leave you. It is important for you to know the word of God for yourself and you can respond to the devil\, just like Jesus did. It is written. \nMatthew 28:20b And be sure of this: I am with you always\, even to the end of the age. (NLT) \nThis is one of the most important weapons you have in your arsenal to pull out in times of trouble. You say\, “Though it may look like I am alone\, or I may feel like I am alone\, nothing can separate me from the love of God. I am not alone!” \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for the assurance that nothing can separate me from You. Your love holds me\, binds me\, and fights for me. I can hold on to You on those days when the enemy comes and tries to make me feel alone\, forsaken\, and lost. I know You are right there. I know You never moved. I repent for the time when my actions and my thoughts about my actions caused me to move. I could not or would not forgive myself\, and I acted like You would not forgive me either. I saw myself as unworthy\, as if I could possibly be worthy any other time. I give You praise\, and I am grateful because You stopped me and called me back to You. You showed me how to get back on track and return to the place I left. You sent Jesus to die and rise again. Nothing can separate You from me\, not even me. It makes me want to shout. It makes me want to sing. Thank You for reminding me of this truth. Thank You for giving this to me to use in my time of trouble. Hallelujah to Your Name!… \n  \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Thessalonians 3:5
DESCRIPTION:2 Thessalonians 3:5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God\, and into the patient waiting for Christ. (KJV) \nAre you willing to leave your work undone? \nDo you sometimes wish for the return of Christ? Do you want this earthy life to be over? Now those are tricky questions because your current relationship status\, or something overwhelming you are dealing with at the moment\, might drive the answers. Do you sometimes say\, “If Jesus comes back right now; I will be with Him in glory and I won’t have to worry about this or anything else anymore”? You are not the only person who thought about this. Christians have been contemplating going to heaven since Christianity began. Look at how Paul addressed and answered these questions:  \nPhilippians 1:21-23 My true life is the Anointed One\, and dying means gaining more of him. 22–23 So here’s my dilemma: Each day I live means bearing more fruit in my ministry; yet I fervently long to be liberated from this body and joined fully to Christ. That would suit me fine\, (TPT) \nOf course\, you want to be with the Lord\, you want the pain and the fight against the enemy to be over. However\, you also know the work God has called you to do is important.  \nPhilippians 1:24-25 but the greatest advantage to you would be that I remain alive. So you can see why I’m torn between the two—I don’t know which I prefer. 25 Yet deep in my heart I’m confident that I will be spared so I can add to your joy and further strengthen and mature your faith. (TPT) \nHow many days did you ask God to show you your purpose\, tell you His call on your life\, increase the anointing on your life as you fulfill your destiny\, etc.? Be willing to be patient for Jesus’ return. Let John 4:34 be your daily confession. \nJohn 4:34 Jesus said to them\, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work. (AMPC) \nIt’s okay to want to be in heaven. There is peace and joy there\, no more fighting\, no more anguish\, no more temptations to battle. Though that is a celebration waiting to be had\, if you have not finished the work God has assigned to you; where is the celebration in that? Paul also had words because he held to his commitment. \n2 Timothy 4:7-8a I have fought the good (worthy\, honorable\, and noble) fight\, I have finished the race\, I have kept (firmly held) the faith. 8 [As to what remains] henceforth there is laid up for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right]\, which the Lord\, the righteous Judge\, will award to me and recompense me on that [great] day (AMPC) \nYou want to touch all the people God has ordained for you to touch. You don’t want to leave your work undone. The lost\, the wounded\, the babes in Christ\, etc.\, are your assignment. Allow the Lord\, by the Holy Spirit\, to direct your heart to keep the faith. Love those who need to hear your testimony as you wait patiently for Christ’s return. Then you will hear the Father say\, “Well Done”. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, there are times when I want to come on home to be with You. Not a suicidal wish\, just a selfish one. Thank You for reminding me if I have not finished my task\, I must continue on. I must get through whatever I am dealing with. Those\, who You have assigned to my life\, need to hear my testimony\, and the words of Your victory will snatch them out of the grip of the enemy. What a great revelation of purpose and living. I repent for acting like my life is just for me. I repent for wanting to leave my work undone. What if Jesus had done the same? My humanity and the desire not to struggle were the driving force behind those feelings. Even as I am praying\, You are showing me; if I’m struggling\, then I’m not resting in You. Help me rest\, as I look with anticipation for the fulfillment of my purpose. I thank You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 3:16
DESCRIPTION:1 John 3:16 This is how we have discovered love’s reality: Jesus sacrificed his life for us. Because of this great love\, we should be willing to lie down our lives for one another. (TPT) \nAre you willing to give up your life to show the love of God? \nForeigner wrote a song entitled “I want to know what love is”. The unfortunate thing is\, the group is not asking the right person. If they really want to know what love is and if they want someone to show them; they need to ask Jesus and look at His life. If you are also wondering\, Jesus shows what genuine love is. Jesus is love personified. It is not enough to talk about love. It has to be demonstrated. Love is an action word. What actions did Jesus take? He gave up His deity and His throne in heaven\, came to earth and lived as a man\, and suffered and died the most humiliating death. He did all of this for a world who did not know or love Him.  \nJohn 3:16 For God expressed His love for the world in this way: He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not face everlasting destruction\, but will have everlasting life. (TVT) \nJohn 15:13 For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends. (TPT) \nThere is no greater expression of love. To perpetuate Jesus’ sacrifice and love\, you also have to give up your life as you understand it. Not to die physically\, though some have. You want to allow the Lord to realign your priorities. There will always be someone who wants to understand what love is\, and there will always be a need for someone to show love until Jesus returns. Someone witnessed to you. Someone guided you and showed you the love of Christ. In order for you to do the same for someone else\, you must be willing to sacrifice the life you mapped out and planned for yourself. Be willing to give up your perfect\, wonderful life and allow God to own it. Be willing to alter your career choice for the choice that God designed for you in order to save souls. Every day\, you will come across someone who needs you. He/she may or may not know the Lord. At that moment\, sharing Christ may not be on your agenda. You may pass on the opportunity because you have an appointment\, you are late for work; you have had a bad day; you are tired\, etc. However\, make the same affirmation over your life\, Paul made. \nGalatians 2:20  I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live\, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God\, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. (AMPC) \nRemember\, when God owns your life\, He sets your agenda. Choose what sacrifice you must make. It may be your time\, your talent\, your career\, or your money. Whatever it is\, be grateful for the chance and take it.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You because I can say I know what love is. Jesus showed me. I am grateful I accepted Your invitation for salvation. I am also thankful for allowing You to rule and regulate my life. I am Your servant and I live in Your love. Thank You for the opportunity to show others what love is. I understand in order to love\, in the purest sense\, I have to give up my life. I repent for trying to hold on to it. With each day that passes\, I get more excited about understanding what it means to be crucified with Christ. My life is not mine to govern. It is Yours to do with as You will. Use me and some lost man\, woman\, boy or girl might come to know Your love as well… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Revelation 12:11
DESCRIPTION:Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb\, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (KJV) \nWould you die for the faith? \nThe blood that Jesus shed saved you\, washed you\, and presents you as faultless before God. You can look at who you are and compare it to who you used to be. When you do\, you will see your saved and transformed life through the blood of Jesus\, as the Father does. He does not remember who you used to be. \n1 Corinthians 6:10-11 Do not be misled. A lot of people stand to inherit nothing of God’s coming kingdom\, including those whose lives are defined by sexual immorality\, idolatry\, adultery\, sexual deviancy\, theft\, greed\, drunkenness\, slander\, and swindling. 11 Some of you used to live in these ways\, but you are different now; you have been washed clean\, set apart\, restored\, and set on the right path in the name of the Lord Jesus\, the Anointed\, by the Spirit of our living God. (TVT) \nIt should excite you to list some things that have happened since salvation and how Jesus changed your life. This is your testimony. Please take a moment and fill in the blanks below. It is how you tell someone what the Lord has done for you. \nYou can say: I used to _ \nI used to struggle with   \nNow\, I am saved because of the blood of the Lamb. I no longer  ______________ and I have found peace. \nTitus 3:3-7 For we ourselves were once foolish\, disobedient\, and wrong. We were slaves to passions and pleasures of all kinds. We spent our lives in malice and envy; others hated us and we hated them. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior was revealed\, 5 he saved us. It was not because of any good deeds that we ourselves had done\, but because of his own mercy that he saved us\, through the Holy Spirit\, who gives us new birth and new life by washing us. 6 God poured out the Holy Spirit abundantly on us through Jesus Christ our Savior\, 7 so that by his grace we might be put right with God and come into possession of the eternal life we hope for. (GNT) \nYour testimony is what God has given you to make it through. The children of Israel used to set up altars when and where God performed miracles to help them remember what He had done. Your life is a monument to what God has done\, can do\, and will do. It’s how you overcome. Whenever and wherever you get the opportunity to talk about what God has done\, take it. Never let anyone or anything stop you. In the days of the first church\, Christians were martyred. They loved not their lives\, even to death. There are places in the world where Christians are still being killed today and yet they live for God.  \nActs 5:40 And they agreed with him\, and when they had called for the apostles and beaten them\, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus\, and let them go. 41 So they departed from the presence of the council\, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. 42 And daily in the temple\, and in every house\, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. (NKJV) \nYou may never face a situation where saying you love God means death. However\, because of what Jesus did for you\, you should be willing. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I am an overcomer and I thank You. Thank You for Your Son\, Jesus and His blood shed for me. Because of being washed in the Blood\, not only do I have a testimony\, I have testimonies. I don’t know if I will ever be in a situation where saying I love You will mean my physical death. However\, I want to believe I will be able to say so\, without pause. Even if I don’t have to die a physical death\, I know You are calling me to die to my flesh every day. I repent for the days when my flesh wins. Help me live in You\, and I will sacrifice my life for You. Father\, Your love has sustained and kept me; without it\, I would not have a testimony. I pray for strength\, as I will give my testimony no matter what. I also pray my testimony will bring You glory and will bless the lives of others… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 5:21
DESCRIPTION:1 John 5:21 We know that whoever Jesus is\, as God’s son\, we are. This knowledge defeats every image of our imagination that could possibly compete with the authentic likeness of our design! Darling children\, distance yourselves from every substitute image\, which is what idolatry is all about! (TMB\, edited) \nDo you have idols in your life?  \nKeeping yourself from idols would seem to be a simple thing to do. There are probably no statues\, dolls\, animal images etc. in your home. However\, it is important to explore the idea of what an idol is\, outside of aboriginal and witchcraft related images. \nAn idol is any person or thing that you give excessive devotion and/or reverence to. It is anything that replaces the one\, true God.  \nExodus 20:3 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” (KJV) \nIn addition to worshiping people and things\, you can also worship the activities you take part in. Just to be clear\, any person (dead or alive)\, object (car\, home\, clothing\, alcohol\, drugs) or activity (job\, ministry\, hobby\, computer\, video games\, pornography\, sex) that you give a higher priority in your life to than your relationship with God is an idol.  \nEphesians 5:15-17 Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately\, not as the unwise and witless\, but as wise (sensible\, intelligent people)\, 16 Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity]\, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish\, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is. (AMPC) \nThe devil’s ability to hide idols in your everyday life activities is a very subtle and extremely effective form of warfare. For Christians\, those activities you do “for the Lord” can also take up such an extensive amount of your time. The time you spend on activities won’t leave you any to develop your relationship with the Lord. Your desire must be to spend time in worship and in prayer.  \nPsalm 27:4 One thing I have desired of the Lord\, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life\, To behold the beauty of the Lord\, And to inquire in His temple. (NKJV) \nThe Lord Almighty will grant your desire. Also\, in your time of enquiry\, He will identify what your idols are\, where your idols are\, and deliver you from them.  \n Please agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for making me aware of my idols. There were things and people in my life I had placed before You without realizing it\, and I repent. Thank You for pointing out activities I refused to break away from because I thought I needed them or I thought they were more important. I am sorry I held on to them as long as I did. Some of them were addictions in disguise that devoured me. Others were self-serving activities that were not as important as I thought\, that consumed my time. Not only did You love me enough to identify what or who could keep me from worship\, prayer\, and study; You delivered me and I thank You. I know as I grow closer to You\, You will continue to reveal things as You transform me into Your image. Father\, I lay at Your altar and I submit to Your delivering power when You show me the hidden idols in my life. I honor You and I give You all reverence and authority. I know You have to destroy anything in my life that does not look like You and does not bring You glory. I also know I have to want to be delivered. I can’t hold on to idols in my heart\, while my lips are saying take them away. Father\, tie me to the altar just in case I start to move. Keep me close and help me live a fasted life\, as I line up my mind\, my heart\, and my will with Yours. Please have Your way in my life and continue to show me those things in my life I would allow to take precedence over You… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 24:45
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant\, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household\, to give them meat in due season? (KJV) \nAre you a faithful and wise servant? \nThere are those who are great orators. They give you goose bumps with the fire and passion of their delivery. As they thunder out their sermons\, you can get swept up. How much value is it to you if you can’t remember what the speaker said and your life has not changed.  \nWhy is this important in warfare? Because you have to hear the word and change in response to what you heard.  \nLuke 8:8 Yet some of the seeds fell into good\, fertile soil\, and they grew and flourished until they produced more than a hundredfold harvest\, a bumper crop. Then Jesus added\, shouting out to all who would hear\, “Listen with your heart and you will understand!” (TPT) \nWhen the power of God changes you\, it affects what you think\, how you act\, and what you say. The same power will rest on the words you speak to transform those who are listening to you.  \n1 Corinthians 2:4-5 And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom [using clever rhetoric]\, but [they were delivered] in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit [operating through me] and of [His] power [stirring the minds of the listeners and persuading them]\, 5 so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom and rhetoric of men\, but on the power of God. (AMP) \nAs you continue on your journey with the Lord\, you may get the opportunity to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus\, or maybe just a word of life building encouragement\, with someone. You may speak to a large\, medium-sized or small group; or maybe it will be just one person. When that opportunity comes\, what will you do? Will you be faithful to give the sincere meat of the word; will you inundate them with platitudes and spiritual slogans; or will you speak to their situation and call them from darkness to light? Sometimes you only get one opportunity to make a difference\, don’t blow it. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I want to be a good steward over the gifts and the talents You have given me. I repent for any time that I mishandled Your gifts or used them for my benefit. I pray You keep me in line\, and I will only use them for Your kingdom. I want to speak words that bring health and life. It does not matter to me if I speak before a great crowd or if I speak to only one. Filled with desire\, I respond to Your call for discipleship by shaping my life according to Your word. It is not my goal to make someone feel good\, nor for them to like me. My desire is to lift You up. If I am a good steward over the gifts\, You gave me; You will be glorified\, and not me. Father\, I receive Your gifts humbly and gratefully. I commit to use them\, according to Your will and command\, to teach\, guide\, and instruct those You have assigned to me; sharing with them in love as I practice what I teach. I pray You get a return on Your investment in me… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Timothy 4:8
DESCRIPTION:2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness\, which the Lord\, the righteous judge\, shall give me at that day: and not to me only\, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (KJV) \n Are you excited about your crown? \nYou go to work every day because on payday you want to get paid. You look forward to retirement\, when you won’t have to work\, and you will still receive pay. You probably took the job based on the benefits attached to it\, salary being a very important aspect. You also get excited that the longer you are an employee\, the more you make. What happens when there is an issue with the company you work for? They could ask you to take a pay cut. They could lay you off. You could end up not getting the retirement you worked for. If you see your position with the Lord accurately\, you work for Him. \n1 Corinthians 3:9a For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters\, laborers together) with and for God; (AMPC) \nIf you continue to work diligently\, serving the Lord\, no matter what you have to endure\, the benefits and the reward will never change. You never have to worry about an issue with the company. He will never lay you off. Isn’t it a blessing to know the God you serve will do what He has promised? \nHebrews 10:23 So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it\, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word. (AMPC) \nIsn’t it also a great blessing that the Father does not base your benefit on the time you have been on the job? Read the parable of the landowner in Matthew 20:1-16. Also\, read the discussion Jesus had with the criminals as He hung on the cross in Luke 23:39-43. The Father has reserved a crown for you and for all those who remain in the faith as you wait for Jesus’ return. \nJames 1:12 Blessed [happy\, spiritually prosperous\, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved\, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. (AMP) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I did nothing to earn my salvation. It is because of what You did for me\, and I thank You. I repent for the times I took it for granted. You have promised I will be with You in glory. And if that was not enough\, if I am a faithful servant\, I can expect to wear a crown. It does not matter what title I have or don’t have. It does not matter how long or tough the road I have to travel. It does not matter what position I hold. It does not matter if I have to walk alone. It does not matter how many mistakes I made. What matters in my faithfulness to stay the course. You give the race to the one who endures to the end. I must continue to look\, with expectancy\, for Your return with my hope based on You. I know it is only because of Your grace I can remain\, and I thank You for it… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Titus 2:13
DESCRIPTION:Titus 2:13 Everyone must welcome with open arms the outrageously blessed expectation; Jesus is what the world was waiting for! He radiates the brilliant intent of God\, engineered by his greatness to rescue the world in him. (TMB) \nDo you have an anticipation of Christ’s return? \nThe early church faced constant persecution\, and life for a Christian under Roman rule was difficult. The Romans looked upon Christians as traitors\, persecuted them\, and put them to death. Even though they lived under those adverse conditions\, the hope of the coming of the Lord lifted the believers’ morale. “Maranatha!” became the common greeting of the oppressed believers\, replacing the Jewish greeting shalom. You are not being persecuted like they were then. Still\, you should always look in anticipation and excitement for the return of Jesus.  \nTitus 2:13 Watch for His return; expect the blessed hope we all will share when our great God and Savior\, Jesus the Anointed\, appears again. (TVT) \nWhen Jesus returns\, you can live with Him in heaven. Eternity in heaven is the foundation of your hope. Until that time\, while you are still on earth\, you show the world who Jesus is through the life you live. \nColossians 1:27 Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ\, embedded within us\, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people\, and God wants everyone to know it! (TPT) \nYour life should bring others the hope of glory. You should stop to think about Jesus’ return from time to time. \n1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout\, with the voice of the archangel\, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds\, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (KJV) \nIf you don’t stop to think about Jesus’ return\, the importance of it\, the amazing manifestation\, and all of its majesty\, won’t seem real and you will lose hope.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for reminding me I should look with anticipation for Jesus’ return. I repent for not thinking about it more often\, which diminishes the reality. I need to reflect on that great day. In doing so\, I am continually enriched\, inspired\, and excited. It is my heart’s desire\, Heavenly Father\, to live a life that celebrates my hope. I pray the eyes of my understanding would continue to be enlightened\, and my relationship with You would cause me to be transformed into Your image more and more every day. Please help me in these last days\, to be always ready\, ever vigilant\, counted worthy\, and always watching for the glorious return of my Lord and Savior\, Jesus Christ\, in Whose Name I pray. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and keeping power\, Abba-Father… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:    \n

SUMMARY:Philippians 4:1
DESCRIPTION:Philippians 4:1 Therefore\, my dear brothers and sisters\, stay true to the Lord. I love you and long to see you\, dear friends\, for you are my joy and the crown I receive for my work. (NLT) \nDo you take the time to celebrate those you are mentoring?  \nSometimes\, though you may not want to admit it\, you want to get a pat on your back from your boss\, teacher\, mentor\, etc. As an adult\, the certificate you get for completing your orientation becomes something you put in a frame on your wall. It has absolutely no monetary value\, though you are still proud of it. As you train\, mentor and encourage others\, don’t forget to tell them how grateful to God you are because of them. They help you complete your assignment. When they progress and mature in the things of God\, take the same posture Paul took.  \nPhilippians 1:3-5 Whenever you cross my mind\, I thank my God for you and for the gift of knowing you. 4 My spirit is lightened with joy whenever I pray for you (and I do constantly) 5 because you have partnered with me to spread the gospel since the first day I preached to you. (TVT) \nThose you mentor should be a source of joy to you because of their faith and affection towards the Lord. They add to the stars on your crown of honor in the day you give an account of the work you have done. How do you know when you have progressed in your training? When the thoughts about the people whose lives you have touched\, bring you joy and when you see those you have touched are touching the lives of others. \n2 Timothy 2:2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others. (NLT) \nBecause you love them\, take the time to tell them; it will help in their growth as well as yours. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, thank You for those You have placed in my life for me to mentor. I repent for treating it as a job sometimes. I also thank You for reminding me I must speak with love\, speak life\, and give truth with grace. Mostly\, I am thankful for Your reminder that mentoring is not all I need to do. It is my responsibility to tell them how much I love them; how much I appreciate them; how much I am encouraged by them; how grateful I am that they listen to what You give me to say; and how grateful I am that they are staying in the faith. They received the words You placed in me for them. They believe You sent me. They are the stars in my crown\, and I thank You\, Father… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and jour

SUMMARY:John 2:25
DESCRIPTION:1 John 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us\, even eternal life. (KJV) \nDo you believe God’s promise? \nWhat is a promise? \n\nA promise is a commitment by someone.\nAs a noun\, a promise is a declaration assuring that one will or will not do something. \nAs a verb\, it means to commit oneself by a guarantee to do or give.\nA capacity for good\, similar to a value that is to be realized in the near future. \n\nAs a child\, you quickly accepted a promise as unshakable and true; as you got older\, sometimes the concept of a promise waned. As an adult\, because of life experiences\, you may have become even less likely to believe promises. How often does your reason for trusting have to be challenged before you don’t trust anymore? How many times do your expectations have to go unmet? When you reach your limit\, you might replace your ability to believe in some future activity with what you may refer to as “common sense” and “pragmatism”. Therefore\, what do you do with the promises God has made? Here are just a few of them for you to think about. \nIsaiah 41:10 ‘Do not fear [anything]\, for I am with you; Do not be afraid\, for I am your God. I will strengthen you\, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice\, of power\, of victory\, of salvation].’ (AMP) \nMatthew 11:28-29 Come to Me\, all you who labor and are heavy laden\, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me\, for I am gentle and lowly in heart\, and you will find rest for your souls. (NKJV) \nDeuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous\, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them\, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.” (AMP) \nHebrews 13:5 Don’t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have\, for you always have God’s presence. For hasn’t he promised you\, “I will never leave you\, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life!” (The Passion Translation) \nDon’t allow your experiences with human beings to dictate your trust in the promises of God. The quality of your life depends on whether you really believe them or not. \n2 Corinthians 1:20 For as many as are the promises of God\, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God. (Amplified Bible) \nIt is not enough to say you believe because you are a Christian. If you believe God’s promises\, then you have hope\, expectation\, and excitement. If you do not\, you function from a place of cynicism\, pessimism\, and depression. You chose how you will live your life based on your belief in God’s promises. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I’ve made promises I did not keep\, and I have had promises made to me that were not kept. I celebrate You because You are the Promise Keeper. I’m grateful You are not a man; You don’t lie. I don’t have to worry if You will forget\, or get sidetracked. I have no doubt You will fulfill all the promises You made. I have hope and it gives me joy. I repent when I get heavy and feel discouraged because someone did not keep a promise made to me. Thank You for Your word. It comforts and assures me You love me\, have a plan for my life and You will take care of what I need. I bless You! The promise for me to be with You in glory is yes\, and it is so. I thank You for every promise and I hold on to them every day of my life… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Lamentations 3:25
DESCRIPTION:Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him\, to the soul that seeketh him. (KJV) \nAre you able to celebrate God in tough times? \nIn church\, the Pastor says\, “God is good all the time”. Then the congregation responds\, “And all the time God is good.” Christian use this phrase across denominational lines. We have used it which such regularity\, it just rolls off the tongue with little thought. If you stop\, while you are dealing with some hardship\, trial or personal issue\, do you still say with joy “And all the time God is good.” Jeremiah\, the prophet that is attributed from writing Lamentations\, wrote almost an entire book of the bible as a passionate expression of grief and sorrow. He filled it with poems about how sad he was about the current state of Israel. In the middle of his tears\, he took time to reflect on the fact that no matter how bad things were\, they could be worse. The world would say he had an epiphany. I believe it was a rhema word from the Lord\, a revelation. God is good to those who wait.  \nIsaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run\, and not be weary; and they shall walk\, and not faint. (KJV) \nPsalms 27:14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage\, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait\, I say\, on the Lord. (KJV) \nNot only did Jeremiah get the revelation on the blessings of waiting\, Isaiah and David did as well. Hopefully\, you will get it too. Don’t jump ship in the hard times. Don’t throw in the towel and get a new god. Look for God’s blessings at all times\, especially when it seems like He is not blessing you; or He is not answering your prayers; or you can’t see Him at work. Ask the Lord to reveal to you what is really happening in your life and what He is trying to teach you.  \nJames 1:2-4 Don’t run from tests and hardships\, brothers and sisters. As difficult as they are\, you will ultimately find joy in them; if you embrace them\, your faith will blossom under pressure and teach you true patience as you endure. And true patience brought on by endurance will equip you to complete the long journey and cross the finish line—mature\, complete\, and wanting nothing. (TVT) \nRecognize the enemy is always on his job. He does not want you to live your life growing in the things of God. He certainly does not want you to fulfill the purpose God has for you. Don’t let him distract you; then you will not spend time murmuring and complaining. Confuse the enemy with celebration!!! \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for teaching me the purpose of waiting and for helping me understand better how You work. You have an assignment for me. You gave me the good and perfect gifts I need to fulfill the assignment. However\, there are some things I didn’t think about. I repent for acting like I have the complete picture. I don’t know how I will do what You have called me to do. I don’t know who else You chose to work with me. I need to learn to use Your gifts. Learning will take trial and error\, which means mistakes and difficulties. The vision will come; I must wait for it. I am sorry for getting in a hurry. No matter where my training exercises come from\, You or what You allow the enemy to do\, You are the teacher. You are in control. It is just a test You have designed for me. You must develop the gifts You have given me\, and that happens through trials. I know the race is not given to the swift\, nor to the strong. It’s given to the one who endures to the end. I want to be one of those who endures to the end. Help me endure hardness as a good soldier to please You\, the One Who chose me to be Your soldier… \n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 15:10
DESCRIPTION:John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments\, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments\, and abide in his love. (KJV) \nAre you abiding? \nTo be successful in this training\, using the gifts God has given you for His glory\, you must remain stable and fixed in a relationship of love that endures with God all your days; you must abide. Abiding gives you victory over the attacks of the enemy. When you think about abiding; what definition comes to mind? If one does not readily come to you\, here are a few:  \n\nTo act or accept under a rule or decision. \nTo comply with\, to obey\, to stick to\, to standby. \n\nThere is another definition that clearly identifies what God requires “to endure without yielding”.  \nHebrews 10:36 For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising]\, so that when you have carried out the will of God\, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised. (AMP) \nGod’s instruction to you for your success in Him is to abide. No matter what you are going through\, no matter how you feel\, you abide in Him\, without yielding. You should not deviate from the assigned path\, not looking to the left or to the right. You are to keep His commandments even when it’s not comfortable\, even when you would rather do what you want to do.  \nProverbs 4:26-27 Take care you don’t stray from the straight path\, the way of truth\, and you will safely reach the end of your road. 27 Do not veer off course to the right or the left; step away from evil\, and leave it behind. (TVT) \nBy enduring\, without yielding and keeping His commandments\, you abide in His love. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for the opportunity to evaluate whether or not I am abiding in Your love. You have shown me I must be faithful to Your will and commands if I am to use the gifts You gave me effectively. If I don’t\, I cannot be victorious against the enemy. I know sometimes my flesh wants to win\, and I want to do what I want to do. I even try to give myself excuses for what I do. Please forgive me. Father\, knowing I must endure without yielding\, has brought me to my knees. It rings in my heart. It ignites in my spirit. It lets me know there is nothing else I can do. I will cling to You. I must allow Your love to strengthen me and keep me on the straight path. Father\, continue to guide my feet. I thank You for doing it… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 24:46
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 24:46 Blessed is that servant\, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. (KJV) \nAre you working as if Jesus is coming today? \nHave you ever had the responsibility of doing something and you thought you had a lot of time? Did you get right on it or did you lose track of time? Were you ready when the assignment was due\, or were you scrambling? Do you tell yourself and others you work better under pressure? Wouldn’t it be a blessing if you are not scrambling when Jesus returns? Are there choices you make because you think you’ll have time to get it right; you know God will forgive you; you can make a better choice the next time\, etc. The truth is\, you don’t know when Jesus is returning. \nMatthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man\, no\, not the angels of heaven\, but my Father only. (KJV) \nIf you give it some thought\, is that how you want to handle the assignment God has given you? Isn’t what you really want is\, whenever He returns\, He finds you being the servant He called you to be; doing the work He created you to do. You don’t want to be found waiting for another opportunity\, or busy doing something that doesn’t give God glory. \nJohn 9:4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. (NKJV) \nGod does not run on our system of day and night\, nor of time on a 24-hour or work hours clock. As long as Jesus has not returned\, it is day and you should be at work.    \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for calling me to a place where I understand my need to be diligent in the work You have assigned to me. Because of Your grace and mercy\, I got another chance and I no longer live as if I control time. Your word says I do not know what will happen tomorrow. Which means I will not put off for tomorrow what You have purposed for me to do today. Thank You for holding me accountable and not letting me get away with the excuses I have made in the past. I ask You to forgive me again\, even as I think about the explanations I made to myself and others. Father\, I want to do the work You assigned to me on Your agenda. I am Your servant and I want to be found faithful. I thank You for the call to serve You and the ability You gave me to work efficiently and effectively. Father\, please continue to get my attention when I am busy doing other things; keep me from being distracted by what I want; and help me stay on task until Jesus’ return. Thank You for training me… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 24:42
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. (KJV) \nAre you watching? \nAs things happen\, you hear people saying\, “this is a sign of the times”. A statement made by people from hundreds of years ago until today is “Jesus is soon to return.” People will continue to make that statement a hundred years from now\, if the Lord has not yet returned. The thing is\, you are to watch. You can read the signs of the times as you watch what is going on in the world. You can also find some of them listed in Mark 13:3-13. These signs will still not give you the exact day when Jesus will return\, they will give you understanding about what is going on. The Bible gives you information to help you discern between natural realm and the spiritual realm; it will also teach you what to do in response to what you see. In Christ\, watching is not a passive activity; it is active. You are to watch\, and you are to pray\, study and seek the Lord as well. Then\, through your conversations with the Lord\, you will continue to be where God wants you to be and continue to do what God wants you to do.  \nLuke 12:35-38 “Be prepared for action at a moment’s notice. 36 Be like servants anticipating their master’s return from a wedding celebration. They are ready at a moment’s notice to unlock and open the door for him. 37 What great joy is ahead for those who stay awake and wait for their Master’s return! He himself will become their servant and wait on them. 38 He may appear at midnight or even later\, but what great joy for the awakened ones whenever he comes”! (TPT) \nYou want to be alert and prepared\, in the spirit and in the natural\, because you don’t know when Jesus is returning. You maintain the correct posture by watching. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for calling me to watch. I repent for not being as diligent as I needed to be. I thank You for a new revelation about watching. Watching not only helps me to be aware of the enemy’s devices\, it is also a sign of my maturity. Watching helps me see what’s going on in the world\, and in my life. Watching allows me to align myself with what I see and be strategic\, just like the enemy is. Watching puts me in a place where the enemy can’t catch me unaware because I am sensitive to Your prompting. You are teaching me and giving me revelation. You are guiding me and the unction You provide allows me to understand what I see in the natural and what is going on in the spirit realm. It allows me to adjust accordingly. SUMMARY:Jude 24
DESCRIPTION:Jude 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling\, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy\, (KJV) \nAre you using your liberty as an excuse to sin? \nTake a moment and rejoice. The Lord can keep you from falling. The Lord can present you without fault; and He is excited to do it. When you think about the fact that He can keep you from falling\, do you wish He would keep you from sinning as well? The thing is\, whether or not you sin\, is your choice. You have to decide whether you will please God with your choice\, before you make it.  \nJoshua 24:15a If you decide that you’re not willing to serve Him\, then today is the day for you to choose whom you will serve\, (TVT) \nEven though you have accepted salvation\, you can choose to do something that is not pleasing to the Lord. Do you make that choice because you believe He is going to keep you from falling into the pits of hell? Do you rest on the promise that in the end\, He is going to present you faultless? Salvation means all the sins you have committed or ever will commit are washed in the blood; it also means God is does not look at your sin or anyone else’s because He only sees the blood of Jesus. Does that give you the freedom to do whatever you want to do? Is that really the Christian life you want to live? Should you evaluate your heart and make sure Jesus is truly lord over your life?   \nRomans 6:1-2 So what do we do\, then? Do we persist in sin so that God’s kindness and grace will increase? 2 What a terrible thought! We have died to sin once and for all\, as a dead man passes away from this life. So how could we live under sin’s rule a moment longer? (TPT) \nBecause grace abounds\, do you sin because you know Jesus covered you under His blood? Absolutely not. Take the responsibility for your choices and your actions\, value what Jesus did for you\, and choose to live a life that glorifies God. \nDeuteronomy 30:19-20 I am now giving you the choice between life and death\, between God’s blessing and God’s curse\, and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life. (GNT) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for sending Jesus. I thank You for washing me in His blood. I know when You look at me; You don’t see the sin I committed; You see the blood that was shed for me. I thank You Father\, because of Jesus\, I won’t end up in the pit of hell. I thank You because You will present me faultless\, no matter what I’ve done. The blood of Jesus covers me. I repent\, for every time I used my freedom\, bought by Jesus’ Blood\, to live an unholy and ungodly life. I purpose to use my forgiveness as the foundation for a life that honors and glorifies You. I owe You my life for what Jesus did\, and I choose You every day. I am thankful for His death. I appreciate being washed. I live with absolute and continual gratitude and I give You praise… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Deuteronomy 31:6
DESCRIPTION:Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them\, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” (KJV)\n\nDo you feel as if you’re fighting alone? \nThough you may feel like it\, you are not alone. Actually\, if you are faithful to prayer and study\, you are growing stronger in the Lord every day. As you progress\, the information is weightier\, and the tests get harder. It’s like going through school. You’ve heard it quoted\, “New levels\, new devils.” In spiritual warfare\, it is true. However\, it really doesn’t matter whether the devils are new or whether the devils are old. You know they exist and the devil has specifically and strategically assigned them to your life. Remember\, you are not alone.  \nIsaiah 43:2 When you face stormy seas I will be there with you with endurance and calm; you will not be engulfed in raging rivers. If it seems like you’re walking through fire with flames licking at your limbs\, keep going; you won’t be burned. (TVT) \nYou don’t have to be afraid because of your desire to grow in your understanding of how the enemy works. You don’t have to say\, “I will not pray those kinds of prayers”. You don’t have to shy away from studying what the Bible says about the enemy because you don’t want the devil to attack you. He’s going to attack you\, anyway.  \n1 Peter 5:8 Most importantly\, be disciplined and stay on guard. Your enemy the devil is prowling around outside like a roaring lion\, just waiting and hoping for the chance to devour someone. (TVT) \nSince you know you are under attack\, you might as well prepare for the battle and arm yourself; put on the full armor of God! The greatest thing you have going for you is knowing this is not your battle\, it is the Lord’s. You are not fighting by yourself; He is fighting with you. The Lord God has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. When the enemy tries to make you feel like God has left you; He has not. He is right there (Hebrews 13:5\, Deuteronomy 31:6). Always remember\, just like the devil is seeking you\, the Lord is seeking you as well. \n2 Chronicles 16:9a For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth\, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. (KJV) \nContinue to grow in God and allow Him to elevate you. Stand on the word of the Lord and feel His strength because you are never alone. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for Your still small voice. You let me know even though I feel like I’m all by myself; I am not. I repent for praying prayers and speaking words over my life that don’t reflect You are right here with me. I thank You for allowing me to see what the enemy is doing. I know it is the devil because Your word tells me I don’t fight against flesh and blood. People are not my issue. I thank You\, Father\, for an intensified revelation of who the devil is and a greater understanding of how he works. I especially thank You for reassuring me of Your constant presence and protection. I am not necessarily a bigger target; I am a target. You created me to worship You. The devil’s job is to wreak havoc on the earth and to pull me to hell with him. Whether he uses an arrow or whether he uses a bazooka\, You are Jehovah Nissi. You are with me and You are my banner. I know the Holy Spirit will stand up inside me. I know You cover me. I’m excited about what You are teaching me and the understanding I have gained about this warfare. I’m excited about what You are doing in my life. I’m excited about what You are teaching me and the training I am getting. I am inspired by what You are showing me about me and what You are showing me about You… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 3:6
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 3:6 I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around. (KJV)\n\nAre you giving up on your revelation? \nHave you ever taken a position where you had to stand by yourself or opposite of what most people were choosing? Have they picked you last\, or not at all\, because everyone knew your position?  \nJeremiah 1:8-9 “Do not be afraid of them [or their hostile faces]\, For I am with you [always] to protect you and deliver you\,” says the Lord. 9 Then the Lord stretched out His hand and touched my mouth\, and the Lord said to me\, “Behold (hear Me)\, I have put My words in your mouth”. (Amplified Bible) \nWhen you have a revelation from God\, it doesn’t matter if no one else understands it or believes it. If you stay in His presence\, God will continue to speak to you and give you clarity. He will help you fine tune your understanding of what He is saying.  \n1 John 2:27 You have an anointing. You received it from Him\, and His anointing remains on you. You do not need any other teacher. But as His anointing instructs you in all the essentials (all the truth uncontaminated by darkness and lies)\, it teaches you this: “Remain connected to Him.” (The Voice) \nYou don’t have to be afraid. You don’t have to say\, I will not stand by this because it’s probably not God. You don’t have to be validated by what everyone else around you is saying. You don’t have to be validated by what the heroes in the faith are saying. You don’t have to be validated by friends and loved ones. It does not matter if you cannot find anyone who will agree with your position. As an encouraging tip\, don’t look for someone who will agree with you. It might prove very discouraging.  \nGalatians 1:10 I’m obviously not trying to flatter you or water down my message to be popular with men\, but my supreme passion is to please God. For if all I attempt to do is please people\, I would fail to be a true servant of Christ. (TPT) \n1 Thessalonians 2:4 but we have been approved by God to be those who preach the gospel. So our motivation to preach is not pleasing people but pleasing God\, who thoroughly examines our hearts. (TPT) \nIf you believe you have truly heard from God\, don’t let go of it; don’t be afraid of it. Just allow God to continue to speak to you and guide you. Even if you find you must adjust a bit. You may even find that you missed Him. That is Ok too. If you are not willing to miss Him\, you won’t fine tune your ear. All of this is testing\, training\, and maturing you. God loves you and wants to see you develop into the person He called you to be. He will let you know how everything fits. Be free and stay in His presence.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, as I come into Your presence\, as I am still before You\, as I listen\, You speak. Sometimes I get an understanding that is not common. In those times\, I repent for giving up on my revelation. You have taught me I must trust what I believe I heard You say. I must speak what You say\, when You tell me to speak and not sooner. Even if I feel as if I am standing against an army. Is this what the disciples\, Martin Luther\, the priest\, and other non-traditional believers felt when they decided they would move from what was acceptable to a new way of doing things? Father\, they excommunicated Martin Luther; the entire church was against him. He fought for what he believed was a revelation from You. Because he did\, I have the freedom to pray to You directly\, right now. I may not have a world changing revelation from You\, however I want to have the fortitude and faith to stand on whatever You speak to me. Jesus died for me to have access to You. Father\, help me use the strength You have given me to stand on every word You have spoken and will speak to me\, whether it be popular or unpopular. Help me understand\, because I am Your sheep; I hear Your voice and I can believe what You say to me. I know sometimes I process what I hear through my emotions. I am open for You and You alone to make adjustments and to clear up whatever mess I make with my understanding. I want to accept Your pure word and I want to maintain its purity. I feel myself growing stronger as I pray this prayer and I thank You… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Corinthians 14:5
DESCRIPTION:1 Corinthians 14:5 I am happy for all of you to speak in tongues\, but I desire even more that each one of you will also speak revelation knowledge for the benefit of the whole church. So please do not speak in tongues in the church unless you can also interpret what you have just said. (TMB) \nWhich is your choice: to be edified or to edify others?  \nThere are those who place a great deal of spiritual weight on speaking in tongues. I recommend you seek the Lord for yourself on this matter. Paul teaches it would be better to prophesy.  \n1 Corinthians 14:12-14 So it is with you\, since you are so very eager to have spiritual gifts and manifestations of the Spirit\, strive to excel in ways that will build up the church [spiritually]. 13 Therefore let one who speaks in a tongue pray that he may [be gifted to] translate or explain [what he says]. 14 For if I pray in a tongue\, my spirit prays\, but my mind is unproductive [because it does not understand what my spirit is praying]. (AMP) \nWhen a person gives a prophecy\, they “speak forth” or declare the divine will of God. The purpose is to make known the desires God has for the person\, the place\, or the situation in any way they can. As they speak the heart of God\, the sole purpose is obedience. God sends the prophet to bring people clarity\, where they understand what God wants them to do and they do it. I will use the plight of Nineveh and the prophet Jonah to explain. \n    *  Prophecy shows God’s justice – Because we understand God is a just God\, we should repent. It is why God sent Jonah to Nineveh.  \nNahum 1:9 – Futile are the plots you devise against the Eternal One\, Nineveh\, because He will put a stop to them. Evil will not have a second chance to rise up. (TVT) \n    *  Prophecy shows God’s power – Because we understand God is almighty\, we know He always wins. This should create awe and also be encouraging.  \nJonah 3:4  Jonah started through the city\, and after walking a whole day\, he proclaimed\, “In forty days Nineveh will be destroyed!” (Good News Translation) \n    *  Prophecy shows God’s love – Because God loves us\, He gives us warning. If we obey\, we avoid destruction.  \nJonah 3:10 When God saw their deeds\, that they turned from their wicked way\, then God [had compassion and] relented concerning the disaster which He had declared that He would bring upon them. And He did not do it. (AMP) \nWhat an honor it would be to be used by God in this manner! It is wonderful to spend time in the presence of God\, being washed over by His Spirit\, speaking in tongues\, and having your spirit man edified. You feel strong and close to the Father\, and that is a good thing. What about your service to others? The enemy will try to stop you from submitting yourself to be used by God. Don’t allow him to. You have to decide what is more important to you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I don’t need a title or a position to be used by You to speak into someone’s life\, and I am grateful. I only need to be willing and available. I will continue to sit at Your feet\, studying and learning more about You. Being in Your presence to be edified by You is the greatest joy I have ever experienced. It is all I want. I repent for those days when I need to give\, and I just wanted to get. I want You to trust me with the lives of Your beloved. I know Your desire is for all to come to the knowledge of the truth. I also know You will send a word of prophecy to reveal the truth. I want to be used by You for the edification of the body and for Your glory… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 1:17
DESCRIPTION:John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses\, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (KJV) \nAre you being condemned by religion? \nThere is a quote by Michael Douglas in the movie\, The American President\, where he talks about the person who is running against him.  \n“And whatever your particular problem is\, I promise you\, Bob Rumson is not the least bit interested in solving it. He is interested in two things and two things only\, making you afraid of it and telling you who is to blame for it”.  \nPeople bound by religion are not interested in helping you. They also have two things they do:  \n\nIdentify what is wrong with you (judgement) \nTreat you as if there is no hope for you (condemnation). \n\nIf judgement and condemnation are not enough\, they also don’t tell you or show you the way to a better life. They hold on to your deliverance as if it’s a reward you have to earn. They make salvation some closed group or secret society you have to pledge to get in to. They make sure you feel you are doomed. Thank God\, He does not work that way.  \nEphesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation\, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ! 9 So no one will ever be able to boast\, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving. (TPT) \nAlso\, He won’t leave you broken\, ashamed\, and feeling as if all is lost.  \nRomans 8:1-2 Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict\, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death. (AMP) \nYour Lord and Father positioned you\, through salvation\, to accept the transforming work of the cross and become the image He designed. \nEphesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work\, a work of art]\, created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed\, renewed\, ready to be used] for good works\, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set]\, so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. (AMP) \nYou want to always remember salvation shines a light on your need for the Father\, and allows Him to create a new you with His love and compassion. God will tell you what you need to do to move to a closer place in Him. That’s a glorious thing for you and for every believer. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for the access I have to You. Because of Your grace\, I am no longer held in bondage by the law. I am covered by the blood of Jesus. I thank You! I am no longer interested in listing the wrongs I have done and what they mean. I will not allow others to list my wrongs without helping me do what is right. I repent for walking in condemnation. It is my responsibility to stand\, not someone else to make me stand. I thank You for moving me from the place of sin-consciousness to a place where I am heavenly minded in my choices. I will not continue to waste my time thinking about and talking about what the devil has done. I will concentrate on what Jesus did and what that means for my life. I want to access the power available to me as a believer to be transformed into Your image. I thank You for the blood of Christ… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Romans 6:23
DESCRIPTION:Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV) \nAre you working or are you receiving? \nWhat is the difference between wages and gifts? What is the definition of gift? \n\nSomething given voluntarily without payment in return\, as to show favor toward someone\, honor an occasion\, or make a gesture of assistance.\nA direct or indirect transfer in which the giver doesn’t expect an equal amount of consideration in return. \n\nFor clarity\, if someone gives you money or any other asset\, and they are not asking for goods or services in exchange; it’s a gift.  \nA wage\, on the other hand\, is:  \n\nA fixed regular payment\, typically paid on a daily or weekly basis\, made by an employer to an employee\, especially to a manual or unskilled worker. The payment is usually on an hourly\, daily\, weekly\, or monthly basis.\nAll remuneration for services performed by an employee for his employer.\n\nWhen you sin\, you are an employee of the enemy. He gives you a wage\, it’s death.  \nGalatians 6:7-8 Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned\, disdained\, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions\, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows\, that and that only is what he will reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature\, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction\, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.\n(AMPC) \nThat’s just the truth of the matter. Every time you sin\, you punch your timecard. Isn’t it a wonderful thing Jesus gave you the gift of salvation?  \nRomans 3:23-24 since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God\, 24 and are being justified [declared free of the guilt of sin\, made acceptable to God\, and granted eternal life] as a gift by His [precious\, undeserved] grace\, through the redemption [the payment for our sin] which is [provided] in Christ Jesus\, (AMP) \nYou could not work for it even if you wanted to. You know it is a gift because He was not looking for you to give anything back. Actually\, He knew you were not even considering giving anything back at the time He gave it. Though He wants you to pay it forward\, that was not even a prerequisite to His giving. He died to give you the gift of life and it more abundantly.  \nRomans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore\, brethren\, by the mercies of God\, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice\, holy\, acceptable to God\, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world\, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind\, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (New King James Version) \nHis desire is for you to accept His gift and live like you’re grateful for it.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, because of Jesus\, I have turned in my letter of resignation to the enemy. I will no longer work for him and I thank You. I repent for all the times I took part-time work for the devil when I should have been working full time for You. I have received what Jesus did for me. I did not have to work for it and what I do now is not drudgery and is not labor. I can not earn what I You have already given me. All I had to do was open my heart\, allow Jesus to come in and acknowledge Him as my Lord and savior. I am excited because there were no other requirements. I am humbled and filled with gratitude just thinking about that. The world tells You nothing in life is free. Jesus said. I give myself freely\, come and receive. Now I will live a life that speaks of the free gift that not only was available for me\, is available for all… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Joshua 23:11
DESCRIPTION:Joshua 23:11 Take good heed therefore unto yourselves\, that ye love the Lord your God. (KJV) \nAre you being mindful of your choices? \nBeing a part of a group can be fun. If you’re not careful\, the group could influence your activity more than your stance as a Christian does.  \n1 Corinthians 15:33 33 So stop fooling yourselves! Evil companions will corrupt good morals and character. (TPT) \nProverbs 13:20 If you want to grow in wisdom\, spend time with the wise. Walk with the wicked and you’ll eventually become just like them. (TPT) \nIn your workplace\, social group\, club\, etc. do you choose to conform to the culture of the environment you are in? Do you go with the flow and blend in with everyone because of your job? Are there times when you do things because it is what everyone else is doing\, even though it is not a requirement or policy of the company you work for or club you are a member of? Do you make compromising decisions because you want to be in the running for the next promotion\, get picked by the popular people\, be the boss’s favorite\, etc.  \nGalatians 5:13a Brothers and sisters\, God has called you to freedom! Hear the call\, and do not spoil this gift by using your liberty to engage in what your flesh desires; (TVT) \nWeakening and/or reducing your principles and standards for personal reasons will damage to you spiritually. There is a checklist for what is OK and what is not. It’s called the Bible. Along with reading and studying the word\, go to God for clarity in application as you make your choices every day.  \n1 Corinthians 10:23 All things are legitimate [permissible—and we are free to do anything we please]\, but not all things are helpful (expedient\, profitable\, and wholesome). All things are legitimate\, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life]. (AMPC) \nWalk in the liberty Christ made for you. Don’t fall prey to the traps the enemy will set for you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for providing a way for me to interact with different people\, at all times\, in my life\, everywhere I go. The people I meet are not just members of a church. I interact at the grocery store\, at the movie theater\, at social and networking venues\, and at my job. I want every decision I make and every choice and offer I take to be godly. I know that is not always the case. Sometimes I make decisions because I am thinking strategically for my self-preservation or my stance in whatever environment I am in. I repent for doing that. I want to rest in You for all I am and in everything I will ever accomplish. I don’t want to compromise my standard with You to meet some standard with people who have absolutely no control over my life or my destiny. Thank You for the revelation\, for the instruction and the rebuke… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 13:5
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 13:5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. (KJV) \nWho are you trusting? \nIsn’t it a good thing that going to heaven has nothing to do with how you respond to situations in your life? You have thoughts about what you should do\, and you also have guidance from The One who knows all.  \nProverbs 3:5-7 Trust in the Lord completely\, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you\, and he will lead you in every decision you make. 6 Become intimate with him in whatever you do\, and he will lead you wherever you go. 7 Don’t think for a moment that you know it all\, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. (TPT) \nYour faith\, hope\, and attitude towards God has to grow from whining and complaining to gratitude and thankfulness. You cast your cares on the Lord\, knowing and believing He is working things out for “the” good. How can you speak of the power of God one day and cry about what is going on in your life the next? When your words and your actions don’t match\, you are showing your lack of trust in Him. It also makes it hard for you to witness effectively.  \nPhilippians 2:14 Do everything without murmuring or questioning [the providence of God]\, 15 so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and guileless\, innocent and uncontaminated\, children of God without blemish in the midst of a [morally] crooked and [spiritually] perverted generation\, among whom you are seen as bright lights [beacons shining out clearly] in the world [of darkness]\, 16 holding out and offering to everyone the word of life\, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to rejoice greatly because I did not run [my race] in vain nor labor without result. (AMP) \nStop trusting in yourself and what you know about your situation; and what you think about your faithfulness\, righteousness\, and merits. Put all of your trust in the Lord\, who has a plan for your life. He is the gave you life and purchased your salvation. You have a countless list of reasons to rejoice and trust.  \nNumbers 23:19 “God is not a man\, that He should lie\, Nor a son of man\, that He should repent. Has He said\, and will He not do? Or has He spoken\, and will He not make it good”? (NKJV) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for my salvation. I would not have a chance if I had to work in order to be with You in heaven. When I stop to think about my life\, I know I am sustained by Your grace\, Your mercy\, and the fact that You love me enough to look beyond my faults and see my needs. I should stay in a continual state of celebration. I repent for the times instead of celebrating; I was complaining. I know it meant I did not trust You to work everything out. For those times\, I am sorry. I need to spend more time on my knees. I have access to You and entrance into Your kingdom because Jesus died for me\, even when I wasn’t thinking about Him. If I had 10\,000 tongues\, I couldn’t thank You enough. I want to live my life in constant gratitude for what You’ve done for me… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Proverbs 16:17
DESCRIPTION:Proverbs 16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul. (KJV) \nWhat path are you on? \nThe Road Not Taken \nTwo roads diverged in a yellow wood\,\nAnd sorry I could not travel both\nAnd be one traveler\, long I stood\nAnd looked down one as far as I could\nTo where it bent in the undergrowth; \n  \nThen took the other\, as just as fair\,\nAnd having perhaps the better claim\,\nBecause it was grassy and wanted wear;\nThough as for that the passing there\nHad worn them really about the same\, \n  \nAnd both that morning equally lay\nIn leaves no step had trodden black.\nOh\, I kept the first for another day!\nYet knowing how way leads on to way\,\nI doubted if I should ever come back.  \n  \nI shall be telling this with a sigh\nSomewhere ages and ages hence:\nTwo roads diverged in a wood\, and I—\nI took the one less traveled by\,\nAnd that has made all the difference.  \nThe blood of Jesus made you right. It is not because of anything you did; He did it for you. Now you have to choose to walk in the righteousness Jesus died for. If you choose the righteous path\, you are also choosing to live a life that displays the holiness God commands.  \nMatthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate\, and broad is the way\, that leadeth to destruction\, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate\, and narrow is the way\, which leadeth unto life\, and few there be that find it. You will set your face like flint to seek the Lord\, not looking to the right or the left. You will think about the steps that you take and walk circumspectly. (KJV) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for the opportunity to choose You every day. I realize I don’t have to choose You and I repent for those times that I didn’t. Jesus died for me. He made a way for me to be saved. I could not have saved myself. Help me to always remember that\, and I will choose You every time. The devil is strategic and cunning as he does his job. He tries to make the choice to choose You hard. I understand sometimes the road I choose will be lonely. I am comforted to know I am never without You. I will continue to examine my activities and my thoughts. If they do not line up with Your word\, I will allow You to change me. My goal is to live my life in such a way that You are pleased… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:
