SUMMARY:Psalms 37:23
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 37:23   The steps of a man are established by the LORD\, when he delights in his way (KJV)\n \nDo you have your new walking shoes on? \nHave you seen a child when they get new shoes? He/she looks down at their feet and takes off. Happy to be walking\, excited about the new shoes. Not really looking where they are going. Not even considering the idea that they may fall. That is how the Lord wants you to walk with Him\, knowing He will be there. \nPsalm 119:133 Establish my footsteps in [the way of] Your word; Do not let any human weakness have power over me [causing me to be separated from You]. (AMP) \nYou know God has picked the right task\, the right path\, and the right time for you. The correct size and fit.  \nRomans 8:28-30 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God\, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew\, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son\, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined\, these He also called; whom He called\, these He also justified; and whom He justified\, these He also glorified. (NKJV) \nYou only need to be happy to be used by Him. You’ve got your marching orders. Make disciples (Matthew 28:1-20). You got your head down and moving. Having faith\, though you might wobble\, and possibly fall\, you will not be stopped.  \nProverbs 24:16a For the lovers of God may suffer adversity and stumble seven times\, but they will continue to rise over and over again. (TPT) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, with each day\, I feel like the child with new shoes on. I don’t have to watch where I’m going because I know You order my footsteps. I know I can trust You. How wonderful! The excitement is welling up within me even if I as I think about it. You are such an awesome God! You set my path\, called and anointed me\, and I love it. I repent for thinking I should have a say in the places You want to take me. I am sorry if I act opposed because I may not want to go\, or I think I should go. Please forgive me. You have designed a way for me to give You glory with my life. I accept Your way. I know if I just keep my eyes on You and keep putting one foot in front of the other; I’ll end up in the place You have ordained for me to be. I bless Your Holy Name!… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 73:26
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail\, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (KJV) \nWhose strength are you walking in? \nBecause your life and all you experience each day is training for you\, you may sometimes feel faint and almost unable to go on. What a refreshing thought to know that even if that happens\, God is your strength.  \nPhilippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (KJV) \nNow there is indeed a difference between knowing this and walking in it. The enemy wants to put you in a place where you throw in the towel. Don’t allow him to do it.  \nThere is a scene in the movie “Facing the Giants”\, called the Death Crawl. In the scene\, Brock\, the captain of the football team\, had to carry a teammate on his back. He understood he would start in the 0-yard line and go to the 50-yard line. However\, Coach Taylor wanted Brock to go as far as he could. Taylor put a blindfold on Brock. He did not want Brock to know where he was on the field. Taylor knew looking at the field\, and at the distance\, would have made it harder for Brock to push himself. Brock crawled and crawled. His legs were shaky. His arms were shaky. All along the way\, Brock was being encouraged by the coach. Finally\, Brock got to a place where he said he could go no further. He was going to give up. The coach told him to open his eyes. Brock was in the end zone. He had gone the entire length of the field! The Footnotes page has a link to that scene. Whether or not you watch the link\, put these scriptures in your arsenal. \nPhilippians 4:13 I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] (AMP) \nPsalm 73:26 I admit how broken I am in body and spirit\, but God is my strength\, and He will be mine forever. (TVT) \n2 Corinthians 12:9 But he answered me\, “My grace is always more than enough for you\, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses\, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. (TPT) \nLook at your life through spiritual eyes and allow the Lord to be your strength.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, God\, You are the strength of my life. I confess there are days when I feel weary. I am reminded of the words You have spoken to me so many times. “If I am weary\, I’m not walking in You; I’m not trusting You and I’m trying to do it without You”. Even though I acknowledge Your instruction and repent\, sometimes I find myself in a weary place again. Thank You for being right there with me. Thank You for encouraging me with every step\, telling me I can make it\, telling me have not gone as far as I can go\, and I need to stop feeling sorry for myself. Help me keep my focus on You and I will see through Your eyes. Continue to give me revelation and I will understand what is happening from a spiritual standpoint and stop looking at things in the natural. When I look with Your eyes and not with mine; when I allow You to be my strength and guide me\, I have many testimonies\, I overcome\, I am victorious\, and I am set for the next task You have ordained for me. Thank You for being my strength and my rock. Thank You for carrying me when I felt I could not go on. Thank You for staying with me when You saw me trying to walk in my strength instead of trusting in You. Thank You for being my Lord and my Father… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 6:40
DESCRIPTION:John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me\, that everyone which seeth the Son\, and believeth on him\, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV) \nAre living like you believe? \nAs a Christian\, your task never changes. Even though you may change jobs\, churches\, or locations in the world; you are to believe in the finished work of Jesus. That is what God requires for your salvation.  \nRomans 10:9-10 because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power\, authority\, and majesty as God]\, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead\, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is\, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly]\, resulting in and confirming [his] salvation. (AMP) \nYou must believe when things are not going your way. You must believe when you don’t understand the direction you are being taken in. You must believe when things look the worst. You must believe when the enemy tries to make you walk in fear instead of faith. You must believe when you are uncertain. You must believe when you are emotional. You must believe when things are changing more rapidly than you can keep up with. You must believe when your old habits are trying to resurface. You must believe\, though everything in you is telling you not to believe.  \nRomans 8:35-39 Who shall ever separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation\, or distress\, or persecution\, or famine\, or nakedness\, or danger\, or sword? 36 Just as it is written and forever remains written\,“FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE ARE REGARDED AS SHEEP FOR THE SLAUGHTER.” 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. 38 For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death\, nor life\, nor angels\, nor principalities\, nor things present and threatening\, nor things to come\, nor powers\, 39 nor height\, nor depth\, nor any other created thing\, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God\, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (AMP) \nYou must show you believe by standing\, despite what you see\, and praising the Lord with a humble and trusting heart.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, thank You for this reminder. I repent for thinking there is a time when I can relax my stance. My job does not change. It doesn’t matter where I am or who I am interacting with. You have ordained and sanctified the place You called me to. I am not a chameleon\, and I don’t have to fit in everywhere I go. I simply have to live the life ordered and directed by You; showing\, through my actions\, I believe You in everything. I need to humble myself and trust You. I’ve often heard people say\, “I trust You even when I can’t trace You.” I understand the statement. Father\, I want to get to the place in You where I can trace You in every situation in my life. I want to be able to see Your hand moving. I am looking forward to it and I thank You in advance… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Acts 14:22
DESCRIPTION:Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples\, and exhorting them to continue in the faith\, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. (KJV) \nAre you willing to endure tribulation? \nIn the movie Bridge of Spies\, there is a combat briefing where the pilots are told their operations manager would give them a “scratch device.” They were to keep it on them at all times. It was to be used\, if they get caught\, in order to take their own lives. Not only would it keep them from giving up any secrets\, it would also keep them from having to suffer at the hands of the enemy. You don’t have a “scratch device”. And though it may sound like a good thing to have; you don’t want one. You must go through tribulation. \nHebrews 5:7-9  When Jesus was on the earth\, a man of flesh and blood\, He offered up prayers and pleas\, groans and tears to the One who could save Him from death. He was heard because He approached God with reverence. 8 Although He was a Son\, Jesus learned obedience through the things He suffered. 9 And once He was perfected through that suffering He became the way of eternal salvation for all those who hear and follow Him. (TVT) \nThere are things you will suffer\, and that is just the way it is. The suffering is purposeful\, though.  \nJames 1:2-4 Consider it wholly joyful\, my brethren\, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.3 Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.4 But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work\, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects]\, lacking in nothing. (AMPC) \nYour tribulations work patience in you. When patience is through\, it can make you perfect. Don’t run away from your troubles; they will make you the person God intended you to be. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I was not sure\, when I began this journey with You\, what to expect. I believed all I had to do was accept Your invitation for salvation and everything would be alright. I guess I thought I would look at life through rose-colored glasses from that point on. I thought I would not have any struggles. I thought if I had problems\, You would miraculously work each one out as it came. After all\, You are God. As my journey continued\, I found a scripture that says in this life I shall have tribulation. It also encourages me to be of good cheer. That was an eye opener. For the times I murmured and demanded a release\, I repent. Now I understand my tribulations make me strong. Sometimes I am successful and sometimes I am not. In either case\, I know You are always there. I can rejoice because You have chosen me. I don’t need to step off of the path I’m on. I just need to live my life and endure whatever I have to endure\, to glorify You. Thank You for growing me up in You. I can look at my life as wonderful\, no matter what circumstances I have to face… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Romans 11:22
DESCRIPTION:Romans 11:22 Both God’s goodness as well as His decisiveness are based on His integrity; unbelief is not tolerated\, not in them\, neither will it be tolerated in you. His favor is not to be taken for granted; instead\, continue to embrace and appreciate His goodness with gratitude. (TMB) \nHow long are you going to be in time out? \nHave you been in a store\, a restaurant\, or any other place and you heard a mother or father say\, “Johnny\, stop?” Then a few minutes later\, you hear “Johnny stop.” And that goes on for a couple of minutes and then you hear: “If you don’t stop\, you are really going to be in trouble.” Meanwhile\, Johnny is still doing his thing. At this point\, you and anyone who is in the vicinity and has been witnessing the situation and listening to the parent are probably thinking\, “Johnny does not believe he is going to be in trouble. He doesn’t think anything is going to happen to him”. Actually\, you are probably in agreement with Johnny. Finally\, you hear\, “Johnny\, you are in ‘time out’.” That means Johnny does not have the liberty to move from the side of his parent. He has no freedom to do anything.  \nCan you hear God saying stop? Are you like Johnny? Have you been living as though you don’t believe there are godly consequences for your actions? Here are some things to consider. Have you noticed you are not flowing in the Spirit the way you used to? Have you noticed you don’t sense The Lord’s presence as strongly or as often as you used to? God placed you in “time out.”  \n1 Samuel 4:21a And she named the boy Ichabod\, saying\, “The glory has left Israel\,” (AMP) \nFor more signs you are in time out\, read Deuteronomy 28:15-44 and Leviticus 26:14-39. If you do not correct your behavior\, the next step after time out is the danger of being cut off because you are not bearing fruit.  \nMatthew 21:18-19 Now early in the morning\, as Jesus was coming back to the city\, He was hungry. 19 Seeing a lone fig tree at the roadside\, He went to it and found nothing but leaves on it; and He said to it\, “Never again will fruit come from you.” And at once the fig tree withered. (AMP) \nBe grateful you don’t have to stay in time out. You can cry out to the Lord to repent and ask for His mercy.  \nPsalms 51:10-11 Create in me a clean heart\, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. (KJV) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, thank You for pointing out to me I cannot do anything and everything I want to do. I repent for thinking it was okay. Thank You for the Holy Spirit\, Who makes me aware of the instructions You have given me and continually identifies what You require of me. I am sorry for deliberately disobeying You\, acting like it was an accident\, and relying on Your grace and mercy. Please forgive me. Thank You for creating consequences for my actions. You remind me of the consequences; I will reap what I have sown. If I continually disobey You\, without remorse\, I will be cutoff. I’m grateful for that reality. Thank You for chastising me. Not only does it demonstrate Your love for me\, it also means I still have a chance to get it right. Thank You for the opportunity to seek You for Your grace to choose You and Your will. I know when I choose You\, I will be excited about the results of my choices… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 3:17
DESCRIPTION:1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world’s good\, and seeth his brother have need\, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him\, how dwelleth the love of God in him? (KJV) \nDo you have a convenient excuse not to give? \nWhere does your obligation to others begin and end? Are you looking out for number one only? What do you think about when you see the guys on the side of the street with the signs and/or mothers with their children outside of the grocery store? Has the “20/20” or “Sixty Minutes” reports convinced you they are scammers and are all living in condos? Do you think the person will take your money and buy drugs? Sometimes it is hard to decide. You don’t know what to believe\, and you just don’t want to make a mistake. What do you do? Do you just keep it moving or do you listen for the Lord to direct you?  \n2 Corinthians 9:6-8 Now [remember] this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly\, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to others] will also reap generously [and be blessed]. 7 Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart\, not grudgingly or under compulsion\, for God loves a cheerful giver [and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift]. (AMP) \n1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One [you have been set apart\, specially gifted and prepared by the Holy Spirit]\, and all of you know [the truth because He teaches us\, illuminates our minds\, and guards us from error]. (AMP) \nWhat is in your heart? Are you spending enough time with the Lord\, creating a connection and increasing your discernment in order for you to obey Him when He speaks to you? Are you allowing Him to guide you? If you ask Him\, He will tell you who you should give to and how much you should give. You won’t have to leave the moment wondering if you should have given more or at all. You will also realize there are some situations that require more than just money. You may have to sacrifice your time\, talent\, skills\, and /or you may have to get involved on a deeper level. What will you do? \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for the opportunity to serve through my giving. Whether I am serving a brother or sister in Christ or someone who has not yet come to know You. You give me the provision\, gifts to the giver and seed to the sower. I give\, not because You will give back to me. I give because You identified the need\, told me what was needed\, and then gave me the means to meet the need. Father\, I thank You for keeping Your hand on my heart. I repent for any time I did not want to give; I evaluated the need\, or I judged the one in need. I thank You for trusting me with the resources to give and showing me my heart. I will obey You when You call. I ask You to keep me in Your presence\, and I will know when to give and when to do more. You changed my heart. You filled it with love\, kindness and caring and I thank You for it… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Isaiah 40:31
DESCRIPTION:Isaiah 40:31 But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (KJV\n \nAre you weary? \nWhen you are intent on success\, training is\, and should be\, hard. If you are reward oriented\, you are not as much concerned with the task as long as you know what prize or accolade you will get when you finish. As a Christian\, you already know you will be with the Lord in glory. You also know\, in this life\, you will have victories\, and you have the promise of blessings you won’t have room to hold. What about until the blessings come? Until then\, you have to wait.  \nPsalm 27:13-14 [What\, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living! 14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes\, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord. (AMPC) \nTime flies when you are having fun\, right! When you feel you are ready to receive what you have been training for\, and the blessing has not come yet; are you still having fun? What do you do? You must guard your heart\, and you won’t get tired and want to give up. Do what David did: \n1 Samuel 30:6b But David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God. (AMPC) \nPsalms 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. (KJV) \nWhen you are feeling weary\, remember it is because you have lost sight of God and you are functioning on your own. During this time\, go into your secret place and praise Him for what He has done for you in the past; worship Him for Who He is\, honor Him for the opportunity to serve. As you spend time in His presence\, God will energize\, inspire\, and encourage you. Don’t stop praising\, don’t stop worshiping\, and most of all\, don’t stop serving!  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I have not always been willing to wait. I am sorry for my impatience\, and I repent for my attitude. Now\, I give You praise because You strengthened me through my tears. Now I know You were preparing me. I didn’t know what I was going to encounter; I am so glad You did. You have taught me how to wait. Even now\, I don’t know what I am going to have to deal with next; again\, I am glad You do. As I wait\, I will continue to seek You\, worship\, pray\, and study. I know You are everywhere at the same time and You are already with me when the next appointed time comes. I am prepared because of You. The enemy cannot blindside me. He will not get the victory because You trained me\, matured me\, and equipped me in my time of waiting. Father\, I believe I can mount up on wings like an eagle. Thank You for empowering me to run and not get weary. I give You glory… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 24:43
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 24:43 But know this\, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come\, he would have watched\, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. (KJV) \nAre you living like today is the day? \nThis scripture gives you a tip. You should live each day like today is the day.  \nMatthew 24:36 Concerning that day and exact hour\, no one knows when it will arrive\, not even the angels of heaven—only the Father knows. (TPT) \nWere you one of those children whose parents showed up at school unannounced? You did not know when or what teacher they were going to talk to. You decide to be smart. You did not change into your “extra clothes” or choose to be the class clown. You were obedient\, were respectful of your teachers\, and did your class work. The same should be true for you as a child of God.  \nPhilippians 2:12 My beloved ones\, just like you’ve always listened to everything I’ve taught you in the past\, I’m asking you now to keep following my instructions as though I were right there with you. Now you must continue to make this new life fully manifested as you live in the holy awe of God—which brings you trembling into his presence. (TPT) \nPaul was talking to the church at Philippi. However\, you can treat it as an admonition from God. Work like you don’t know when Christ will return because you don’t. The old folks used to say\, “Don’t let Him catch you with your work undone.” \nEphesians 5:15-16 So be very careful how you live\, not being like those with no understanding\, but live honorably with true wisdom\, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for his purposes. (TPT) \nYou should live each day manifesting love\, joy\, peace\, longsuffering\, gentleness\, goodness\, faith\, meekness\, and temperance. That way\, when Jesus returns\, He will find you doing what you know He requires. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, help me live each day as if Jesus will return today. I can remember singing a song\, “Watch ye\, therefore\, You know not the day.” They were singing about not knowing when I would die. However\, the same applies to not knowing when it is “the day.” Even if I didn’t say I was waiting\, I repent for acting like I had plenty of time to do what You have called me to do. I don’t want to live with gifts unused\, talents untapped and assignments not completed. When Jesus comes\, I want Him to find me doing what You have purposed for me to do. Help me live every day seeking to fulfill the call You have on my life… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Titus 2:14
DESCRIPTION:Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us\, that he might redeem us from all iniquity\, and purify unto himself a peculiar people\, zealous of good works. (KJV) \nAre you peculiar? \nJesus died for your salvation\, and much more than that. His death opened the way for you to be who God designed you to be. You needed only to accept His amazing gift. Jesus died and got up from the grave. As a believer\, you can and should be zealous of good works. What does that mean? It means you have great energy and enthusiasm in pursuit of the cause of Christ. It means you live like you love being a Christian and your passion for Christ is evident!  \nPhilippians 3:7-11 I once thought these things were valuable\, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. 8 Yes\, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else\, counting it all as garbage\, so that I could gain Christ 9 and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather\, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith. 10 I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him\, sharing in his death\, 11 so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead! (NLT) \nNormally\, the first thought that comes to mind when you hear the word peculiar is strange or bizarre. However\, that is not the right thinking. Jesus died\, giving you the opportunity to be God’s own possession. That’s what makes you distinctive and special\, set aside exclusively for Him.  \nJohn 15:16 You have not chosen Me\, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you\, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing\, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting\, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you. (AMP) \nSalvation made you peculiar. It may seem strange to the rest of the world if you live like you belong to God. However\, it is not strange to you. Your excitement about your place in the Lord causes you to do things that please Him\, amazing things\, extraordinary things\, peculiar things!  \nMark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing\, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick\, and they shall recover. (KJV) \nYour passion for His work in and through you is what sustains your life. Be peculiar! \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I am peculiar\, and I thank You. Thank You for choosing me and setting me aside as Your own. I have sung “I belong to You”\, “I surrender all” and many others. I have said\, “You are my Lord and master.” As I seek You and study Your word\, I’m getting a new understanding of what those statements really mean. I repent for making my relationship with You mostly about what I need You to do for me and the problems I need You to solve. Thank You for the revelation. Your definition of our relationship means I truly belong to You. Your definition means my life is not mine to control and I repent for acting like it is. Your definition means I am available for You to do with me whatever You choose to do. I am to be salt and light\, to speak a word\, to provide encouragement\, and whatever else You may require. There is nothing I have gained\, no title or accolade that is higher than being Your servant. I want to be set aside for Your use. I thank You in advance for the times when You will have to remind me. Also\, thank You now and in advance for bringing me back to center whenever I try to live independently of You\, going the way I want to and making the choices I want… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Romans 5:21
DESCRIPTION:Romans 5:21 (Spiritual) death provided sin its platform and power to reign from\, now grace has taken over sovereignty through righteousness to introduce life under the Lordship of Jesus Christ over us. (TMB) \nAre you living a triumphant life? \nYou cannot deny the existence of sin\, neither can you deny what sin produces (1 John 1:8 and Romans 6:23). \nSometimes you might feel you are fighting a losing battle.  \nRomans 7:21-24 Here’s an important principle I’ve discovered: regardless of my desire to do the right thing\, it is clear that evil is never far away. 22 For deep down I am in happy agreement with God’s law; 23 but the rest of me does not concur. I see a very different principle at work in my bodily members\, and it is at war with my mind; I have become a prisoner in this war to the rule of sin in my body. 24 I am absolutely miserable! Is there anyone who can free me from this body where sin and death reign so supremely? (TVT) \nYou are not fighting a losing battle. You have grace.  \nTitus 2:11-12 God’s marvelous grace has manifested in person\, bringing salvation for everyone. 12 This same grace teaches us how to live each day as we turn our backs on ungodliness and indulgent lifestyles\, and it equips us to live self-controlled\, upright\, godly lives in this present age. (TPT) \nGrace is not just the unmerited favor of God that secures your place in heaven. Grace is also God’s empowerment for you to complete the task He has assigned to you. Grace is the sufficiency of God giving you victory. There is no waste of time or useless activity with Him. God uses everything you go through\, even what seems like defeat\, for your development\, maturity\, and perfection. There are no losing battles because Jesus conquered death\, hell\, and the grave (1 Corinthians 15:55 and Revelation 1:18). The battlefield is in your mind. Take authority over what you are thinking.  \n2 Corinthians 10:5 We are demolishing arguments and ideas\, every high-and-mighty philosophy that pits itself against the knowledge of the one true God. We are taking prisoners of every thought\, every emotion\, and subduing them into obedience to the Anointed One. (TVT) \nSpeak what the Father speaks about you and live in the power of His grace through obedience to His word. Then you will live victoriously and put the devil under your feet. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for Your grace. Though I am always grateful You don’t give me what I deserve when I do displeasing things; I am more grateful You empower me to do the things You are pleased with and have ordained for me to do. You placed a call on my life\, and then You began using my life experiences to equip me and sustain me. You work through me as I work to fulfill Your vision for me. I repent for thinking I’m not able and feeling like it’s too hard. You show me\, I can because You are with me and I am in You. When I feel like the task is overwhelming and I am tempted to quit\, You give me a way of escape and I can bear it. I honor You for what You do in my life. When I look at myself\, I stand in awe of what You have accomplished… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Kings 2:4
DESCRIPTION:1 Kings 2:4 so that the Lord may fulfill His promise which He spoke regarding me\, saying\, ‘If your sons are careful about their way\, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and all their soul\, you shall not be deprived of a man to occupy the throne of Israel.’ (New American Standard Bible) \nAre you seeing God’s promises come to pass? \nGod made David a promise. There were things David had to uphold if he was going to receive the promise. Do you think this scripture is only about David and not really about you? Are you wondering how this could apply to you? God’s promise to David was not for the by and by. It was something David could see come to pass in his lifetime. Do you have a “in-your-lifetime” promise the Lord has made to you? If you cannot remember any; here are a few.  \nMatthew 11:28 “Are you weary\, carrying a heavy burden? Come to me. I will refresh your life\, for I am your oasis”. (TPT) \nJeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you\,” says the Eternal\, “plans for peace\, not evil\, to give you a future and hope—never forget that”. (TVT) \nJohn 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled\, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] (AMP) \nIn order for you to see your promise\, you have the same requirements God gave to David. Take heed to your way\, walk before the Lord in truth\, and serve Him with your whole heart and soul.  \nLuke 18:29-30 “Yes\,” said Jesus\, “and you won’t regret it. No one who has sacrificed home\, spouse\, brothers and sisters\, parents\, children—whatever—will lose out. It will all come back multiplied many times over in your lifetime. And then the bonus of eternal life!” (MSG) \nHe is the same God\, yesterday\, today and forevermore. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, You are Jehovah. I have seen Your promises to me come to pass\, and I thank You! Thank You for supplying my need and even some of my wants. Thank You for giving me rest when I feel weary\, and the burdens of life seem to be too much. Thank You for being there and hearing me when I call and showing me what is really going on. Thank You for reminding me things work out for “the” good and not always what I determine to be “my good”. Thank You for the plans You have for my life. Thank You for peace. All I needed to do was stop and look over my life. I see fulfilled promises. You keep fulfilling them because You are God and Your word does not fail. I repent for those days when I did not obey You every time You spoke\, not considering how I would grieve You. I am sorry for those times I did not walk before You in truth\, as if I could hide something from You. I apologize for not serving You with my whole heart and soul because I was trying to fit You in to my plans. I confess and thank You for forgiving me because in all those times\, You helped me out of the problems and tough situations I created because of my behavior. Please continue to work on me. Keep me on the path. Let Your power flow through me. I know my part is to continue to seek Your face and acknowledge You in all of my ways. The promises that You make are yes\, and it is so… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Philippians 4:13
DESCRIPTION:Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (KJV) \nWhat is it you can’t do? \nThere is an ongoing debate whether qualifications are more important than experience. When you are looking at a position description\, what do you think? Ever said “I can’t do that\, or I don’t have that skill”? As you continue building your relationship with the Almighty\, your thinking will change. As you long for His presence\, you study\, worship\, and praise more and more. Then something happens. \nPsalm 18:28-29 God\, all at once you turned on a floodlight for me! You are the revelation-light in my darkness\, and in your brightness I can see the path ahead. 29 With you as my strength I can crush an enemy horde\, advancing through every stronghold that stands in front of me. (TPT) \nPsalm 18:29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. (KJV) \nYou wake up one day (today could be that day) and say\, “There is nothing I can’t do with Christ working for\, in and through me.” What a great mental state to have\, no matter what the situation\, to know you can do all things. It is not enough to say it\, however. Now you have to walk it out. \nPhilippians 4:6-7 Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day\, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life\, 7 then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding\, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ. (TPT) \nTake that job\, apply for that promotion or new position. Don’t allow the required qualifications\, on the paper\, to stop you. Allow God\, Who saved you\, to encourage you. By the way\, the same God will give you whatever you need to do the job. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, because of Who You are in me\, there is nothing I can’t do. The words are easy enough to say. I repent when I live like I can’t do all things with Your strength. Confessing this frailty liberates me and causes me to weep. All means all. What an amazing God You are. There is no obstacle I can’t leap over. I know Romans 8 refers to not being separated from Your love. There are many days when I ask if troubles\, pressures\, and problems stop me from accomplishing what You have ordained for my life? I agree with You and say in a loud voice\, No. You are giving me the confidence to say there is nothing I cannot do. If I really trust You and believe You\, I can manifest Your greatness in all that I do. I want to live my life like I believe. Thank You for showing me the path. Please help me walk on it… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Colossians 3:23
DESCRIPTION:Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do\, work heartily\, as for the Lord and not for men\, (KJV) \nWho are you working for?  \nHave you ever been sitting at work\, doing nothing\, and when you saw the boss coming your way\, you started to “look like you were working”? Did you convince yourself you deserved a break? Do you work harder when you know the “important people” will review your work than you do when you think they are not? Does your attitude about your boss affect how you view your job? The wonderful thing about the life of a Christian is: you don’t have to pretend you like your job; you should actually love your job!  \nEphesians 6:6-7 Don’t put on a show just because they are looking (as if you were a people pleaser); but as a slave of the Anointed\, do the will of God from your heart. 7 Serve them in good faith as if you were serving the Lord\, not men\, (TVT) \nThe job you are on and the people you work with are your assignment\, no matter where you are working. Whether you are in the permissive or perfect will of God\, you are there. If you are a believer\, God hired you; and He is in charge of Human Resources. You have heard this saying\, and it’s more true for the Lord than any other business you have worked for\, “The needs of the business come first”.  \n1 Peter 2:13-16 Submit to all the sons of men for the sake of God; to Kings\, because of their authority\, 14 And Judges\, because they are sent by him for the punishment of wrongdoers and for the praise of the workers of good. 15 For it is the will of God in this way that by your excellent works you may shut the mouths of fools – those who do not know God\, 16 As free children\, and not as persons who make their liberty a cloak for their evil\, but as Servants of God. (TAB) \nWhen you work\, your goal should be to please God. Make your work decisions based on what you know God has commanded for your life\, not on what has happened or is happening to you on the job.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for reminding me I am working for You. It doesn’t matter if someone is or isn’t watching because I know You are. It doesn’t matter if anyone appreciates or acknowledges the work I do. I’m working for You. I repent for anytime I acted like I was working for anyone else\, including myself. Help me to always see my job as an assignment. My position or title may dictate my pay. You govern how I perform. Your approval is all I seek. I know if I am listening\, You won’t allow me to get away with being mediocre\, or pass the day doing just enough. You desire excellence and I want to give You my all. Continue to use the Holy Spirit as the Facilitator of my individual development plan\, and my work will be a testimony of You\, the God I work for… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew 19:16
DESCRIPTION:Matthew 19:16 And\, behold\, one came and said unto him\, Good Master\, what good thing shall I do\, that I may have eternal life? (KJV) \nWhat are you asking God for? \nBecause you are in a war\, being refreshed and replenished is a constant need. Where do you get these needs fulfilled? You will find all you think you need and more in the secret place of the Most High God. The presence of the Lord is captivating\, overwhelming\, inspiring\, refilling\, and energizing all at the same time. When engulfed by His Spirit\, you are free. Do you know there is nothing you can’t do\, and nothing and no one can stop you\, as long as God is guiding\, covering\, and directing you? You may not have a testimony of God working things out in your life. Moses experienced God in ways that could only be described as miraculous as he took the forty-year journey from Egypt to the promised land. You can read Moses’ testimony in Psalms 91. Please take time to read it in its entirety. However\, here is an excerpt that highlights the point.  \nPsalm 91:14-15 For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: “Because you loved me\, delighted in me\, and have been loyal to my name\, I will greatly protect you. 15 I will answer your cry for help every time you pray\, and you will feel my presence in your time of trouble. I will deliver you and bring you honor.” (TPT) \nYour times of getting away to be with the Lord are most probably less frequent than they need to be. Therefore\, hold on to every one of those experiences. Do everything you can to carve out time for more of them. Those are the times when you ask God life-changing questions: “Father\, will You take me higher in You? Will You accept my offering as I surrender all of me? Will You let me know what You want me to do next?” Your passionate desire to please the Father has to ring from your heart and soul. Then you will ask for transforming things!   \nThis is what David asked of the Lord: \nPsalms 27:4 One thing I have asked of the Lord\, and that I will seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life\, To gaze upon the beauty [the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur] of the Lord And to meditate in His temple. (AMP) \nThis is what the Lord asked Solomon\, what Solomon asked of the Lord\, and the Lord’s answer: \n1 Kings 3:5\, 9\, 11-13 \n5 At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said\, “Ask! What shall I give you?”  \n9 Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people\, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?  \n11-13 Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing\, and have not asked long life for yourself\, nor have asked riches for yourself\, nor have asked the life of your enemies\, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice\, 12 behold\, I have done according to your words; see\, I have given you a wise and understanding heart\, so that there has not been anyone like you before you\, nor shall any like you arise after you. 13 And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor\, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days”. (AMP) \nLearn from the one God called a man after His own heart and the wisest man there ever was or ever will be. Make your request a good one by staying in the presence of God! \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for the joy You give me. When I come to You in prayer and when I’m in worship\, I ask You to teach me about You. I can feel Your presence. I know You bring me into Your secret place because You want to fellowship with me more than I could ever want to fellowship with You. I’m excited. I know You will show me Your way for my life. Not only do You grant me the joy of Your presence as I live\, I also have the promise that I will be with You forever. I repent for taking any of this time for granted. I want to share these experiences with the world. I want to tell everyone about my God\, who can do exceedingly and abundantly above all I can ask or think. There is nothing I can’t ask You for\, that is in Your will\, that You would withhold from me. I bless Your name… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 37:2
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 37:24 though he fall\, he shall not be cast headlong\, for the LORD upholds his hand. (KJV) \nAre you fighting scared?  \nHave you ever watched a wrestling tag-team match? The tag team comprises two or more wrestlers who are working together as a team. According to the rules\, only one competitor per team can be the ring. Also\, the only way a wrestler can change places with a partner is to “tag” him or touch him on some part of his body. Usually\, one of the team members is being beaten down to the point they are about to lose. Then the dramatic “tagging” happens. Those rules do not govern your life in Christ.  \nExodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain calm. (AMP) \nIt is not a tag-team match. God does not allow you to get all beat up and then He steps in. He is always there with you.  \nPsalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength\, an ever-present help in trouble. (NIV) \nGod is your keeper! That is a weapon you need to settle in your spirit. The devil fights hard. He may even knock you down a time to two; he cannot hold you down forever.  \nProverbs 24:16a Although a righteous person may fall seven times\, he gets up again\, (NET) \nThe Lord is holding your hand. Fight like it! He may allow you to fall when it will strengthen you. However\, He is keeping you from destruction. This reminder should change your fighting tactics.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nJehovah Nissi\, I repent for fighting like I will not win. You are teaching my hands to war and my fingers to fight\, and I won’t stand before the enemy trembling. There is no possibility where he will win. Nothing exists on the earth\, above the earth\, or beneath the earth he can use\, that You can’t stop. Because of You\, I fight like there is nothing You have ordained for my life that the devil can prevent me from attaining. This revelation allows me to tap into Your power within me. When You speak to me\, I want to stand on it. Though the enemy will try to whisper in my ear\, he will not move me. Your word is my rock and my solid foundation. You’re holding me\, fighting through me\, and bringing to pass what You have already purposed and predestined. You are omniscient; You know I’ve already won the victory. I repent for those days when I said\, “I’ll do it afraid.” I cannot walk in light and darkness at the same time. You have not given me the spirit of fear. The devil is the peddler of fear. I cannot partner with the enemy to accomplish something You have called me to do. I will never say\, “I will do it afraid again.” I also will no longer fight afraid… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Galatians 5:1
DESCRIPTION:Galatians 5:1 Christ defines your faith; he is your freedom from anything the law could never free you from! Find your firm footing in this freedom. Do not let religion trip you up again and harness you to a system of rules and obligations! (TMB) \nAre you freely giving? \nIn Maslow’s hierarchy of needs\, the need to belong comes right after the need to have food and be safe. It is pretty important in the life of every human being. As a Christian\, you often seek to fulfill that need in church or in some Christian ministry\, group\, or club. Depending on where you are in your relationship with the Lord\, your need to belong could put you in a position where you compromise what you know is true just to be accepted by a person or the group. This is such a strategic tool used by the enemy. There is a lot of damage that people who are sincere\, just sincerely wrong\, can do. \nColossians 2:16-19 So don’t put up with anyone pressuring you in details of diet\, worship services\, or holy days. All those things are mere shadows cast before what was to come; the substance is Christ. 18-19 Don’t tolerate people who try to run your life\, ordering you to bow and scrape\, insisting that you join their obsession with angels and that you seek out visions. They’re a lot of hot air\, that’s all they are. They’re completely out of touch with the source of life\, Christ\, who puts us together in one piece\, whose very breath and blood flow through us. He is the Head and we are the body. We can grow up healthy in God only as he nourishes us. (MSG) \nJust remember\, You Are Free. You don’t have to agree with anyone on every issue. You can stand on what you believe. No one can require anything of you\, not your time\, talent\, money\, allegiance\, presence at events\, obedience\, etc. You are free.  \n1 John 2:27 As for you\, the anointing [the special gift\, the preparation] which you received from Him remains [permanently] in you\, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His anointing teaches you [giving you insight through the presence of the Holy Spirit] about all things\, and is true and is not a lie\, and just as His anointing has taught you\, you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him\, knit to Him]. (Amplified Bible) \nThough you are free\, you want to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you. It is the right choice to make when you don’t want to defy the Lord. It is important that you understand\, when you disobey the Holy Spirit’s guidance\, you are only rebelling against the Lord.  \nPsalm 51:4 Against You\, You only\, have I sinned and done that which is evil in Your sight\, so that You are justified in Your sentence and faultless in Your judgment. (AMPC) \nYour Heavenly Father is the only power over your life. He has given you an unction.  \n1 John 2:20 But you have an (unction) anointing from the Holy One [you have been set apart\, specially gifted and prepared by the Holy Spirit]\, and all of you know [the truth because He teaches us\, illuminates our minds\, and guards us from error]. (AMPC\, edited) \nYou will know when you are being obedient to the Father through the local church. You also know whether you are being rebellious or if it is just an accusation. Be excited about this information and walk in the freedom Jesus died for. God loves a cheerful giver.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I want to serve You out of my love for You. I repent for not doing that. I will not allow someone to impose rules\, regulations\, and obligations on my life to fit their agenda. If what anyone requests of me doesn’t fall in line with what You’ve already spoken to me; You have given me the courage to say no. I want to do what I do\, because I love You; not because I’m trying to gain footing in some place or with certain people. You continue to guide and direct me; unveiling what You have ordained for my life. I know my obedience to You must follow what You have spoken to me. I understand I can and should show my obedience to You through my experiences in whatever ministry or local church I’m assigned to. I also know You will show me how. Thank You for giving me deeper understanding. Man-made goals cannot and will not supersede what You have ordained. I thank You for showing me I don’t have to be bound anymore. I can walk in You freely. I can love You freely. I can obey You freely. I can give freely… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 5:27
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 5:27 Christ\, the voice of God’s intimate language\, presents the church (his restored image and likeness) to himself\, to his delightful approval without any distraction or reminder of a blemished past; no wrinkle or scar of sin’s abuse remains; she stands before him in immaculate innocence. (TMB\, edited) \nAre you spreading the joy? \nWhen the enemy reminds you of your past\, take his reminder and do two things. First\, spend some time in praise and worship\, thanking God for who He is and what He did for you. Remind yourself of the times when you thought there was no hope for you. The Lord reached down\, picked you up\, and set you on a new path.  \nPsalms 118:28 You are my God\, and I will confess\, praise\, and give thanks to You; You are my God\, I will extol You. (AMPC) \nPsalm 113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised. (KJV) \nSecond\, take some time to reflect on what God has promised to be your future.  \nRevelation 21:3-4 and then I heard a loud voice from the throne\, saying\, “See! The tabernacle of God is among men\, and He will live among them\, and they will be His people\, and God Himself will be with them [as their God\,] 4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish\, or crying\, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.” (AMP) \nYou will stand washed\, clean\, without spot or blemish. You are the church Jesus is coming back for. There will be no remnants of what used to be in your life. There will not be any scars that normally remain after a wound heals\, reminding you of a past hurt. There is a burst of energy you should get just thinking about what God has prepared for you.  \nRevelation 19:1 AFTER THIS I heard what sounded like a mighty shout of a great crowd in heaven\, exclaiming\, Hallelujah (praise the Lord)! Salvation and glory (splendor and majesty) and power (dominion and authority) [belong] to our God! (AMP) \nAre you able to witness to right now? Yes\, you are. Do it. Make this truth available to as many people as you can\, and they too can experience this same joy.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nMy Father and my God\, You are Jehovah Tsidekenu\, The Lord Our Righteousness. I thank You for washing away all my blemishes. Thank You for removing every reminder of the pain I endured throughout my life. I repent for holding on for the amount of time I did. I could not spread joy because I had of all the unresolved pain. Now I have no more scars from trials\, tribulations\, persecutions\, betrayal\, grief\, or death. You are Jehovah Maccadeschem\, The Lord Who Sanctifies. You present me clean. To say I am completely amazed is not enough. I am humbled and grateful and still those words are not enough. Father\, I can’t think of any other appropriate words. I am speechless\, which is uncommon for me. Thank You for e work You’re doing in my life\, to clear away all the rubbish\, all the hurt\, and all the pain. I am the church You are returning for. It is a miracle. Thank You is the best and least I can say… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Timothy 4:12
DESCRIPTION:1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one despise you for your youth\, but set the believers an example in speech\, in conduct\, in love\, in faith\, in purity. (KJV) \nAre you letting your light shine? \nIt does not matter how long ago you got saved. If you look long enough\, you will probably find some seasoned saints\, those who have been saved for a long time. Sometimes\, the seasoned saints might inadvertently dismiss your input because of your youth. How do you and others define youth? Youth is a function of age. The time you have been alive measures age. The Bible refers to time in three different ways: \n\nChronos – meaning minutes and seconds\, or time as a measurable resource. \nHora  – meaning a certain or definite time or season fixed by natural law and returning with the revolving year. \nKairos – meaning God’s timing\, especially in terms of fulfilling the prophetic\, and completing His will and purposes.  \n\nKnow that the saints can measure your youth in Chronos\, Hora or Kairos time. They will say things like\, “when you have been on the battlefield as long as I have you will know.” Don’t let that hinder you.  \n2 Peter 3:8 Don’t imagine\, dear friends\, that God’s timetable is the same as ours; as the psalm says\, for with the Lord\, one day is like a thousand years\, and a thousand years is like one day. (TVT)  \nYou have to recognize what plot and trap the enemy is using to interfere with your passion\, and stop him. The Bible gives you instruction on what to do\, no matter how you measure your time with the Lord. \nIf Chronos: \nEphesians 5:15-16 Therefore see that you walk carefully [living life with honor\, purpose\, and courage; shunning those who tolerate and enable evil]\, not as the unwise\, but as wise [sensible\, intelligent\, discerning people]\, 16 making the very most of your time [on earth\, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence]\, because the days are [filled with] evil. (AMP)  \nIf Hora: \nEcclesiastes 3:1-8 To everything there is a season\, A time for every purpose under heaven: 2 A time to be born\, And a time to die; A time to plant\, And a time to pluck what is planted; 3 A time to kill\, And a time to heal; A time to break down\, And a time to build up; 4 A time to weep\, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn\, \nAnd a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones\, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace\, And a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to gain\, And a time to lose; A time to keep\, And a time to throw away; 7 A time to tear\, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence\, And a time to speak; 8 A time to love\, And a time to hate; A time of war\, And a time of peace. (NKJV)  \nIf Kairos: \nHabakkuk 2:3 “For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays\, wait [patiently] for it\, Because it will certainly come; it will not delay.” (AMP) \nIt’s true your unbridled passion may get you into trouble. Please know\, you can be the better for it. What the enemy means for your demise\, God can get glory from\, if you let Him. Continue to live a life that glorifies God. No matter where you go or who you are with\, redeem the time and let your light shine; then men will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, it does not matter how I am measuring my time with You\, I’ve come to a place where I can just be me. I can let my light shine. I thank You. I can speak of Your goodness. I can talk of who You are. I can lay claim to my salvation and openly proclaim that I’m excited about it. I will let no one despise it\, and I won’t despise it. Am I too young in terms of time on the earth? Am I too young in terms of the season I am in? Am I too young because someone else thinks You have not finished with my preparation and maturing yet? I am no longer concerned about what other people think when it comes to hearing Your voice. I will hold who You say I am and what You’ve done in my life to a higher esteem level. You have shown me I need to be excited about what You are doing and have done in my life. When I’m not\, I am telling and showing You I ashamed of You. It means I think You made a mistake or have left something out. I repent for evaluating Your work. I am grateful and I will act like it… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Galatians 6:1
DESCRIPTION:Galatians 6:1 Brethren\, if a man be overtaken in a fault\, ye which are spiritual\, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself\, lest thou also be tempted. (KJV) \nAre you restoring in meekness? \nHave you ever been engaged in activity you knew was not glorifying to God or edifying to the Body of Christ and a brother/sister in the Lord saw you? How did the interaction play out? Do one of these examples describe it? \nOne\, if they were truly spiritual\, they came and talked to you about it\, and you felt the love of God as they spoke. You did not feel judged or dirty. You repented to the Lord\, and He restored you. \nRomans 15:1-2 Now\, those who are mature in their faith can easily be recognized\, for they don’t live to please themselves but have learned to patiently embrace others in their immaturity. 2 Our goal must be to empower others to do what is right and good for them\, and to bring them into spiritual maturity. (TPT) \nTwo\, they were judgmental and critical. You felt even if you stopped immediately and never returned to that behavior; that person and many others would always see you the same way. In essence\, the person made you feel you would never be clean.  \nRomans 7:18-19\, 24 For I know that nothing good lives in me\, that is\, in my flesh [my human nature\, my worldliness—my sinful capacity]. For the willingness [to do good] is present in me\, but the doing of good is not. 19 For the good that I want to do\, I do not do\, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. 24 Wretched and miserable man that I am! Who will [rescue me and] set me free from this body of death [this corrupt\, mortal existence]? (AMP)  \nThree\, they said nothing to you at all. However\, you know they saw you.  \nMatthew 5:23-24 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar\, and there remember that your brother has something against you\, 24 leave your gift there before the altar\, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother\, and then come and offer your gift. (NKJV)  \nIt does not matter\, now\, how it played out then. Should you find yourself in any of these three scenarios\, again; follow the scripture. If you find yourself on the other side\, remember how you felt. Every believer has a target on his/her back. Though you may feel you are above temptation\, don’t allow the devil to fool you. Today it is them\, tomorrow it could be you.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I’ve been on both sides of the witness stand. I have been the one who saints and sinners alike have evaluated. They found me wanting and left me feeling as if there was no hope. I’ve also been the one who found someone who had erred. I want to say I always handled it right. I know I cannot. I thank You for giving me the opportunity to show Your love and mercy. I repent for those I left in a worse state. You have changed and continue to change me. Today I speak love and I speak light into the lives of those You allow to cross my path. I am grateful You find me worthy to be Your ambassador. Keep me close to You as I share the good news about You who loves no matter what. I don’t want to leave a person judged and lost because of where they are located. You are God and You can and will bring them to a new place with a new consciousness. A place where there is no condemnation\, only conviction that saves. You did it for me; I pray You can use me as a bridge to do it for others… \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Hebrews 12:12
DESCRIPTION:Hebrews 12:12 Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees\, (TMB) \nAre you pouting or praising? \nChildren often pout after their parents have punished them for something. They get silent and refuse to talk to anyone or take part in whatever activities are going on. They don’t realize the punishment is for their good. Know any adults who act the same way? How do you act when God chastises you? \n1 Thessalonians 5:18 in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. (AMP) \nWhen things don’t go the way you want them to. When God does not work out the situation the way you wanted it to be worked out. When there is no creative miracle for you. What do you do? \nJames 1:2-4 Consider it a sheer gift\, friends\, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure\, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed\, not deficient in any way. (MSG) \nAt this stage in your understanding of the spiritual war and level of your training\, the answer should ring in your heart and spring from your lips. “I am standing tall!!” Are you? The old folks used to say\, “Pull yourself up by your bootstraps”. Not sure how to do that\, however the point is\, tighten your grip on the Lord and get ready for the next round. David encouraged himself in the Lord (1Sam 30:6). You have to do the same. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, in the name of Jesus\, I hope to say\, “I know how to abound and how to be abased”. I don’t want to be Your child who throws a temper tantrum. I want to be Your child who understands You and acknowledges that You know what is best for me. I repent for trying to force You to do things my way. Keep me close as I accept Your choices for my life and align my will with Yours. Shine Your light on my thoughts and actions when I am expecting You to do what I want You to do\, when I want You to do it\, and how I want You to do it. I know You will continue to teach me\, if I allow You to. Father\, I will allow You to\, because I want to continue to grow. I am gaining clarity and I am maturing. I understand if I always got what I wanted\, my life would be a complete mess. Thank You for only giving me what You know is best for me…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:John 15:5
DESCRIPTION:John 15:5 I am the vine\, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me\, and I in him\, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (KJV) \nCan someone pick a piece of fruit from you? \nIt is fruit bearing season. There is a story in the Bible when Jesus cursed the fig tree (Mark 11:12-13\, 20-21). Now\, He did not curse it just because it did not have fruit. This was not the season for bearing fruit. He cursed it because it “looked” like it had fruit. Fruit usually comes before the leaves. When Jesus saw the leaves from a far off\, He thought there would be fruit. He was hungry and a tree with fruit would meet His need. Make sure you are not “pretending” to be someone who can meet a need. \nMatthew 23:27-28 Woe to you\, teachers of the law and Pharisees\, you hypocrites! You are like a grave that has been whitewashed. You look beautiful on the outside\, but on the inside\, you are full of moldering bones and decaying rot. 28 You appear\, at first blush\, to be righteous\, selfless\, and pure; but on the inside you are polluted\, sunk in hypocrisy and confusion and lawlessness. (TVT) \nNo matter how talented you are and how gifted you are\, without God\, you can do nothing. You can’t just appear to be full of fruit from far away. Someone is going to come to pick a piece of fruit off your tree because: \n\nThey may not understand a love that does not come with a price tag\, and they need divine love in all its varied expressions.\nThey may not know what life is like without despair\, and they need joy.\nThey may be full of conflict\, and they need peace that subdues.\nThey may not have had someone walk with them despite the life they have chosen\, and they need patience that endures.\nThey may only know cruelty and need to see kindness in action.\nThey may not know what goodness looks like\, and they need an example of a life full of virtue.\nThey may not have any faith\, or their faith wavers\, and they need to know there is a God Who provides faith that prevails.\nThey may have never experienced mercy. They can’t imagine how their life would be different and they need someone who has a gentle heart.\nThey may not have any self-control and they need someone who can show them that strength of spirit is possible.\n\nAre you that person? Can you be? Yes\, to make sure you have fruit\, you must abide. \nColossians 1:9b-10 that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [with insight into His purposes]\, and in understanding [of spiritual things]\, 10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord [displaying admirable character\, moral courage\, and personal integrity]\, to [fully] please Him in all things\, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God [with deeper faith\, clearer insight and fervent love for His precepts]; (AMP) \nSpend time in the presence of the Lord\, and when someone comes to pick a piece of fruit from your tree\, they are not disappointed. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, because I am saved\, I can have the fruit of the Spirit. It can operate in my life and I thank You. I understand I have to abide in You\, if the fruit will be available when there is a need. I don’t want to be the person who appears to be spiritual when I am really not. When the time comes for someone who needs long-suffering\, who needs temperance\, I want to provide it. Thank You for showing me this is not a some-of-the-time thing\, this is an all-of-the-time thing. You will send people into my life who will need what You have already placed inside me. I don’t want them to leave worse than they came. I want to enrich and encourage them. I know in order for rivers of living water to flow from me; I have to spend time with You. Not in fleeting moments and not when I can fit You in. I purpose to have dedicated and consecrated time with You. I need that special time to accept Your correction\, Your discipline and Your development. When I stray\, help me come back to You. You are my center. Help me abide…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Philippians 2:3
DESCRIPTION:Philippians 2:3 No hidden agenda with a compromised mixture of leaven or empty philosophical flattery can match a mind that genuinely values others above oneself (TMB) \nDo you have a hidden agenda? \nWhat’s in it for me? Isn’t that what Peter asked Jesus? (Matthew 19:27) \nMatthew 6:33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at\, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God]\, and all these things will be given to you also. (AMP) \nAre you wondering when “all those things” are going to manifest? Maybe you are at the point where you don’t ask that question anymore? Have you passed the point of thinking about what could bless you; or who could bless you if you did…\nASK THE LORD WHAT HE WANTS TO SAY TO YOU ABOUT TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL AND JOURNAL IT HERE: ? There is no shame in wanting to be blessed. Not only has God blessed you and will continue to bless you\, He also attached a promise to your giving. \nLuke 6:38 “Give generously and generous gifts will be given back to you\, shaken down to make room for more. Abundant gifts will pour out upon you with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! The measurement of your generosity becomes the measurement of your return.” (TPT) \nYou don’t always know who God will use to bless you. What you know is all blessings come from God and He has promised to bless you. You know they are coming. Why couldn’t it be because of something that you did? The thing is\, what you may or may not get can’t be the motivation for your actions. Your motivation has to come from the pure desire to be of service to someone else. \nCorinthians 9:7 Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart\, not grudgingly or under compulsion\, for God loves a cheerful giver [and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift]. (AMP) \nWhen you give from your heart\, you can “feel” nothing happened because of what you did. The good thing is\, you won’t look back on your actions with regret. As a side note\, something always happens; you reap what you sow. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, God\, I never thought I had a hidden agenda. Thank You for requiring me to evaluate my heart. Thank You for reminding me my desires and my service have to be pure and unselfish. My only agenda has to be: Your glory. I can’t choose to do or not do something based on what I think the person could do for me. I want to be an instrument of Your service. For You to use me where\, when and with whom\, is a manifestation of Your sovereignty. I want to rejoice in every service I provide. You have shown me I am not wrong for thinking my deeds might be the beginning of something. As long as I am not motivated by a reward\, I don’t run after what I think I should get\, and/or I don’t pout if what I hoped might happen does not materialize. I repent for the times when my ideas took me down the wrong path. I will diligently examine my thoughts beforehand. I want You to get the glory out of all I do…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Matthew19:22
DESCRIPTION:Matthew19:22 But when the young man heard that saying\, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. (KJV) \nHave you gone away sad? \nWhen you are inspired to go to the Lord and ask what He would have of you; be ready for the answer. To say you surrender all sounds wonderful and is the response that strong worship\, praise and prayer invoke. \nPsalm 37:4-6 Seek your happiness in the Lord\, and he will give you your heart’s desire. 5 Give yourself to the Lord; trust in him\, and he will help you; 6 he will make your righteousness shine like the noonday sun. (GNT) \nPlease understand\, it is in the next level of warfare where God gives you what you asked Him for. You get more of Him\, more insight\, more revelation\, and things change. \nJohn 14:12-13 I assure you and most solemnly say to you\, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach]\, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name [as My representative]\, this I will do\, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. (AMP) \nWill the devil just move to the side and allow you to walk in this deeper place? No\, it may even seem to you that the enemy is attacking you more often and with greater intensity. Have you convinced yourself that problems at home have doubled\, on the job have tripled\, and at church have quadrupled? When you answered God’s call\, you promised to do whatever God said. Now that you have found out only some of what God requires and what type of war you have to fight; what do you do? Do you change your mind because the battle is “more than you can bear”? Do you ask the Lord to allow you to stop and pick this up when you are better equipped to handle it? Do you strengthen your resolve\, dig in\, and see the salvation of the Lord? \nPsalm 27:13-14 I would have lost heart\, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. 14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage\, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait\, I say\, on the Lord! (NKJV) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I am often surprised at Your answer when I ask You\, “What do You want me to do?” I confess I used to hope it was something I already thought You would require. I repent for trying to direct Your process. I am older and I pray wiser now. I don’t want to go away sad when Your answer is\, “Get up early every morning and talk to Me”. “Lift My name everywhere You go\, no matter the response.” “Be encouraging to someone who is belittling or mishandling You.” “Give an extra 10% in tithes and offering today”. “Ask someone to forgive You when they are at fault.” The greatest gift I can give; the greatest response I can have to Your answer\, is to say yes. I have to “want to” allow Your love to shine through me by being obedient. I don’t want to go away sad. I want to go away rejoicing and living out Your will for my life…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Galatians 6:8
DESCRIPTION:Galatians 6:8 The flesh cannot compete with the spirit; just like with Adam\, the fruit of the DIY tree still produces death\, while faith produces the spirit fruit of the life of the ages\, the God-kind of life. (TMB) \nWhat harvest are you going to reap? \nNot sure who coined the phrase “If it feels good\, do it”. Nike took it to the next level and said\, “Just do it”. At that point\, it doesn’t matter if it feels good or not. I am sure Nike was talking about exercising in their shoes. Now the world has taken that phrase to the highest level. The phrase has taken on a life all its own. The goal is to satisfy the hunger of the flesh at any cost\, no matter the cost. What we don’t realize\, there is a cost. Doing whatever you want\, when you want\, how you want\, and with whom you want\, comes with a price. \nRomans 6:23a For the wages of sin is death; (KJV) \nIf you dance to the music\, you have to pay the piper. The price of unfettered freedom is corruption of the mind and body. Ultimately\, you spend eternity in hell. \nJames 1:14-16 But each one is tempted when he is dragged away\, enticed and baited [to commit sin] by his own [worldly] desire (lust\, passion). 15 Then when the illicit desire has conceived\, it gives birth to sin; and when sin has run its course\, it gives birth to death. 16 Do not be misled\, my beloved brothers and sisters. (AMP) \nAren’t you glad God made provision? I am. \nRomans 6:23b but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV) \nWhen you do those things that strengthen the spirit\, i.e.\, praying in the holy ghost\, worshipping\, studying the word; you are planting seeds that bring forth a harvest of life in paradise. \n2 Peter 1:5-8 For this very reason\, applying your diligence [to the divine promises\, make every effort] in [exercising] your faith to\, develop moral excellence\, and in moral excellence\, knowledge (insight\, understanding)\, 6 and in your knowledge\, self-control\, and in your self-control\, steadfastness\, and in your steadfastness\, godliness\, 7 and in your godliness\, brotherly affection\, and in your brotherly affection\, [develop Christian] love [that is\, learn to unselfishly seek the best for others and to do things for their benefit]. 8 For as these qualities are yours and are increasing [in you as you grow toward spiritual maturity]\, they will keep you from being useless and unproductive in regard to the true knowledge and greater understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ. (AMP) (Amplified Bible) \nWhen you change what you plant\, you change what you harvest. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, in this world\, I am encouraged to make my way\, to name it and claim it\, to be the captain of my ship\, and make it happen. I’ve learned I am not making my way\, even when it seems like I am. You love me enough to show me I don’t even know what my way really is. I only thought I knew. The problem with me doing what I thought was right is I ended up doing things that grieved You. I repent. You taught me not to make decisions based on what I see in the natural. You taught me not to compare my life to others that I think are successful. You taught me the world’s definition of achievement is not the same as Yours. Thank You for allowing me to change what I was planting. I don’t want to make my way. I want to spend time in Your presence and have You order my steps. I want to live a life that glorifies You. Whether the world deems my life to be prosperous is not important to me anymore. I want to live the God-kind of life. I want to make the God-kind of choices. I want to reap the God-kind of harvest…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:2 Corinthians 2:8
DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 2:8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him. (KJV) \nAre you managing forgiveness? \nThere is no way around it. If you say you love the Lord\, you have to forgive. Here is what makes it tricky. Some offenses “seem” to affect you more than others\, carry more weight\, and do more damage. No matter how you feel\, you must extend the same grace you have received. Unforgiveness can really negatively affect you because the same pattern of forgives you use\, God uses toward you. \nMark 11:25 When you pray\, if you remember anyone who has wronged you\, forgive him so that God above can also forgive you. (TVT) \nMatthew 6:14-15 If you forgive people when they sin against you\, then your Father will forgive you when you sin against Him and when you sin against your neighbor. 15 But if you do not forgive your neighbors’ sins\, your Father will not forgive your sins. (TVT) \nUnforgiveness can prove to be worse and really dangerous territory for the one you choose not to forgive. The devil can get an advantage in his/her life. He can also use your unforgiveness to cause hard thoughts toward God and religion. He could drive that person to a place of despair and have him/her think Christians are\, and therefore God is\, unforgiving. Unforgiveness causes bitterness\, which the love of God does not shine through. Therefore\, how can you witness? \nHebrews 12:15 Watch over each other to make sure that no one misses the revelation of God’s grace. And make sure no one lives with a root of bitterness sprouting within them which will only cause trouble and poison the hearts of many. (TPT) \nAre you applying the standard God set for forgiveness? Do you really want to live with unforgiveness in your heart? Do you keep in mind that you don’t want to be overindulging of sin or too severe? Only God can help you navigate the answers to these questions. Please remember\, this is how you confirm the love of God lives in you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I confess managing forgiveness is sometimes hard for me. I think I forgive most things\, however there are some things that are really tough for me. I wanted to forgive\, yet I felt as though forgiving would give leeway to more of the same behavior. I thought it would give my stamp of approval\, and/or appear as if the behavior was not wrong. This was such a struggle for me. I repent because I know thinking like this is judgement\, and I placed myself in a position that is Yours alone. I repent for affecting anyone’s life negatively. 70×7 was just an example Jesus used to denote the number of times we should forgive. I know there is no actual number. I used to be concerned about forgiving and what it would mean for someone who didn’t seem to be remorseful. Did that mean there is no need for a standard? Was it okay for them to do whatever they wanted? Would they take my kindness as weakness? Was I giving them permission to repeat the behavior? Thank You for showing me I am not the record keeper. Thank You for helping me see forgiveness is for me\, not for the one who offended me. I want to live a life where a person can come to me and find love\, forgiveness\, and understanding. I ask You for these things every day. I want to give someone what You give me. Help me choose my words and do what would bring You glory…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:2 Thessalonians 3:15
DESCRIPTION:2 Thessalonians 3:15 Yet count him not as an enemy\, but admonish him as a brother. (KJV) \nHave you given up on someone? \nHave your friend\, relative or acquaintance adapted a lifestyle you know was ungodly. What was your response? Was your first thought\, it’s their life? Did you somehow eliminate your need to speak to them? Did you convince yourself you would be nosy or pushy if you spoke to them? Did you wonder what happened to the joy of their salvation\, their relationship with the Lord\, their passion for the things of God? So many things could have happened. Here are a few\, to take into consideration\, to stop you from getting too judgmental: \n\nThey kept letting their schedule rule instead of making sure they did not use God’s time for something else.\nThey set their heart on things that really don’t matter and the enemy lured them away.\nThe trials in their life caused them to become discouraged\, and they focused on those problems and took their eyes off Christ.\nThey wanted prosperity and wealth. They sought after that first and not the Kingdom of heaven.\nThey drift away from God because they have habitual sin in their lives that causes them to feel guilt when they show up at church\, reluctant when they pray\, and hypocritical when they read their Bible.\n\nHave you ever been there? What does the Bible instruct you to do? \nGalatians 6:1-2 My spiritual brothers and sisters\, if one of our faithful has fallen into a trap and is snared by sin\, don’t stand idle and watch his demise. Gently restore him\, being careful not to step into your own snare. 2 Shoulder each other’s burdens\, and then you will live as the law of the Anointed teaches us. (TVT) \nDon’t give up on them. Do battle on their behalf. Today it’s them\, tomorrow it could be you. Keep their names in God’s ear. Ask Him to use you in their lives. If He gives you an open door\, speak to them with love. Prepare yourself to celebrate their return. Always remember\, He did not give up on you. \nLuke 15:8-10 8 Jesus gave them another parable: “There once was a woman who had ten valuable silver coins. When she lost one of them\, she swept her entire house\, diligently searching every nook and cranny for that one lost coin. 9 When she finally found it\, she gathered all her friends and neighbors for a celebration\, telling them\, ‘Come and celebrate with me! I had lost my precious silver coin\, but now I’ve found it.’ 10 That’s the way God responds every time one lost sinner repents and turns to him. He says to all his angels\, ‘Let’s have a joyous celebration\, for the one who was lost\, I have found!’” (TPT) \nGod may use you as water that softens the ground\, in order for Him to bring the increase. It doesn’t matter who they are or where they are. God’s grace and mercy can reach them. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I don’t want to write someone off. I know I don’t have a heaven or hell to put someone in. How dare I deal with someone as if You cannot help them? Maybe they are not my assignment. I repent for giving up. You never give up. You continue to send someone to speak a word. I don’t have the right to decide if a person wants You or not. How could I know? I have often quoted the Bible\, “A tree is known by the fruit that it bears.” Somehow\, I thought that gave me the right to let go. I am sorry. You are God\, not me. There is nothing You can’t do. There is no one You can’t reach. You reached me. I repent. Forgive me for not living a life that fulfills Your desire that none would perish…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Hebrews 12:13
DESCRIPTION:Hebrews 12:13 Get rid of all obstacles that could possibly cause you to stumble and sprain an ankle! Don’t let a recurrent injury force you out of the race. Recover and carry on running. Don’t allow old legalistic mind-sets to trip you up again. (TMB) \nIs your path obstruction free? \nGod has a plan for your life and a path for you to walk. You have the responsibility to make sure the path you are walking on is what God desires. \nJeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you\,” says the Lord\, “plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster\, to give you a future and a hope”. (AMP) \nAlso\, God has designed your path to be as plain and as easy to follow as possible. That is the way God does it. No hoops to jump through. \nMatthew 11:29-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (MSG) \nAlso\, keep in mind other people are watching you and trying to walk the path you are walking. \nYou cannot allow obstructions to cause you or anyone else to stumble. \nHebrews 12:1 Therefore\, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness]\, stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us\, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us\, (AMP) \nWhat are obstructions? They are addictions\, distractions\, afflictions\, distresses\, etc. Ask the Lord to show you the obstructions in your life. When He does\, whatever they are\, get rid of them. They need to go. Don’t make excuses for your wrong behavior or it will just get worse and cause you to stumble on the path and possibly cause you to fall or fail. And the sadder part is\, it could most probably cause someone else to stumble as well. \nRomans 13:14 But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)\, and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts). (AMPC) \nYou can walk the path of deliverance Jesus died for and God provided because you are strong\, healed\, and more than a conqueror. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, You have shown me the path and instructed me to walk there in. It is my responsibility to obey. I repent for the times I walked without regard to Your instructions. Thank You for always being there for me. When I am weak\, You make me strong. When I struggle\, You give me clarity. I had not thought about someone else watching my life and trying to walk my path before. I am both baffled and concerned. Knowing that someone would want to walk my path makes me even more sensitive to every time I do what I want without regard for Your word. Not only am I putting bumps\, lumps\, cracks\, and crevices on my path. I could cause someone else to fall. I can’t use the fact that the righteous man falls\, and You will help them rise again as an excuse to make provision for my flesh. I must live my life doing everything I can\, according to Your will\, and I won’t fall. Thank You for showing this to me in a clearer way. Thank You for showing me why I should desire Your path for my life. Thank You for making me realize I must choose Your path freely\, not grudgingly\, or being compelled\, or demanded. Help me continue to keep my path clear of obstacles. Please keep it is straight and level…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:James 5:19
DESCRIPTION:James 5:19 My dear friends\, if you know people who have wandered off from God’s truth\, don’t write them off. Go after them. Get them back (MSG) \nWho have you written off?   \nHave you ever lost something and thought you would not find it? Depending on how valuable it was to you\, you probably looked for it. After a while\, when you didn’t find it\, did you give up? Did you decide you were going to replace it or do without it? Well\, you can make those kinds of decisions with stuff\, not with people. What are some reasons you and your friend may have parted ways? \n\nYou have changed the way you see things\, you both have a different spiritual perspective.\nYou cannot agree to disagree because you refuse to give some validity to the other’s perspective.\nYou believe someone has to change their mind. You’re at an impasse.\nLife and choices have changed the intensity of your relationship.\n\nPlease remember\, you don’t fight against flesh and blood. The enemy thought he would separate you and make you weak. He may have used you or your friend. Know this\, you did not waste the time you invested in your friendship. During those days\, weeks\, months and/or years\, you grew and developed. What you learned will be useful for the next relationship and to encourage and strengthen someone else. \nGenesis 50:20 Even though you intended to harm me\, God intended it only for good\, and through me\, He preserved the lives of countless people\, as He is still doing today. (TVT) \nKnow that the Lord was watching and both of you will be fine. Let God dictate the ebb and flow. When He puts them on your mind\, find a way to reach out. With today’s social technology\, if you want to find them\, you will. You are not reaching out to just to rekindle what once was. You are reaching out to let them know you love them\, and they are always in your prayers. \nPhilippians 1:3-4 Whenever you cross my mind\, I thank my God for you and for the gift of knowing you. 4 My spirit is lightened with joy whenever I pray for you (and I do constantly) (TVT) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for my friendships. You have taught me how to love those who are no longer actively a part of my life. You have given me instruction on what to do when You put them on my mind and in my heart from time to time. Until now\, I’ve just said I don’t know where they are or I don’t know how to find them. I have given myself an out. I repent for that. I can reach out. I can use the tools available to me to find them. I can talk to them. I can share Your love. You were there when the separation happened\, and You are here now. Whatever happened is in the past. I know it feels good for someone to say they love and miss me. Even if I can’t find them\, I can pray for them. You have no hands; I give You mine\, no feet; I give You mine. Help me remember this the next time You place someone on my heart. Though I can pray for them\, if I can\, I should do more…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Galatians 4:7
DESCRIPTION:Galatians 4:7 Can you see how foolish it would be for a son to continue to live his life with a slave mentality? Your son-ship qualifies you to immediately participate in all the wealth of God’s inheritance which is yours because of Christ. (TMB) \nAre you having a prodigal son moment? \nHave you made some choices and found yourself in a place where you are not living the quality and standard of life God promised? That must have been what the prodigal son was thinking when he “came to himself.” He was not wondering how he could get his lavish life back. He just wanted to be in a place where he could get food\, shelter\, safety\, and security. These were the things he knew his Father provided for his slaves. He was OK to be a slave. The thing is\, there was no reason for him to live as a slave. He did not realize the relationship he had with his father did not end because he left. It was still intact. He was still his father’s son. It did not matter where he was or how he was currently living. When he returned home\, his father proved that to him (Luke 15:11–32). \nLuke 15:20 So the young son set off for home. From a long distance away\, his father saw him coming\, dressed as a beggar\, and great compassion swelled up in his heart for his son who was returning home. The father raced out to meet him\, swept him up in his arms\, hugged him dearly\, and kissed him over and over with tender love. (TPT) \nAre you living beneath your status because of choices you have made? Are you content to keep living without your blessings because you have agreed with the enemy? You can change your situation. \nIsaiah 55:1-3 Wait and listen\, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters; and he who has no money\, come\, buy and eat! Yes\, come\, buy [priceless\, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing]. 2 Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread\, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to Me\, and eat what is good\, and let your soul delight itself in fatness [the profuseness of spiritual joy]. 3 Incline your ear [submit and consent to the divine will] and come to Me; hear\, and your soul will revive; and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with you\, even the sure mercy (kindness\, goodwill\, and compassion) promised to David. (AMPC) \nIt is not a matter of what you deserve; it is a matter of who you are. You are an heir to the throne. It is your birthright. Being an “heir” is NOT a better job\, a wife\, a husband\, a better car etc. IT IS your relationship with the Father. \nRomans 8:17 If we are God’s children\, that means we are His heirs along with the Anointed\, set to inherit everything that is His. If we share His sufferings\, we know that we will ultimately share in His glory. (TVT) \nStop living beneath your promises and return to the Lord. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, when I am feeling as if I am not living the life You promised\, I know I am the one who left. I repent for those days. I am sorry; I learned my lesson. When I am thirsty\, I come to You. You are my everlasting water. When I have no money\, I can come to You\, buy and eat without cost. I can stop spinning my wheels and doing things that cannot and will not satisfy me. I will listen to You and eat of Your word. I will delight in You. You have given me access to Your presence. I will wait for You to speak to me. You can return to me the joy of Thy salvation. You have made an everlasting covenant with me. Help me be faithful to it…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 3:12
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (KJV) \nAre you being bold? \nHave you ever seen the original version of the Wizard of OZ? There is an iconic scene where the group has finally made it to the Wizard’s castle. It is time to see the great and powerful OZ. They are walking down this extremely long corridor\, shaking\, rattling\, trembling. They are almost scared to death. They have been told that OZ is the only one who can help them. Though they wanted his help\, they were almost too afraid to ask for it. \nYou are not a part of a movie. You are not looking for someone or something to solve all your problems with the wave of a hand. As a believer\, you know that in your time of need\, the Lord God Almighty is the only One who can help. You have to develop your relationship with the Father. Then you will not be afraid to come to Him. It does not matter what the need is. \nPhilippians 4:19 And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Amplified Bible\, AMP) \nAren’t you excited about Philippians 4:19? My prayer is that you are cultivating a deeper and stronger relationship with the Lord because of the training you are getting through this devotional. I pray you are without fear when you approach the Father\, and you are certain you can go before Him with whatever request you have. \nHebrews 4:16 Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is\, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear\, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing\, coming just at the right moment]. (Amplified Bible\, AMP) \nJesus made it possible for you to come to the Lord in confidence. Not only will the Lord hear you\, He will provide what you need. He will also make sure you can fulfill His call on and purpose for your life. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, You know I love movies and I thank You for using the Wizard of OZ to teach me. Thank You also for pointing out to me how You want me to be like those characters\, as I come to You\, and how You want me to be different. I repent for the times I came to You shaking\, trembling\, and afraid. I know better now. I thank You because I can come boldly before Your throne of grace. You have shown me You want me to bring every desire\, thought\, or idea to You. No matter what it is\, even though what I am asking You to do may not solve my problem\, nor be what is best for me. Like them\, I have asked You to give me what I already have; I just don’t realize it. Help me understand\, what You have given me is not over there somewhere\, and it’s not out there beyond my reach. Continue to remind me of Your word. You’ve given me everything I need. I have to walk it out. Titles\, accolades\, validations by men\, and positions cannot and will not do it for me. Help me see myself as You do\, embrace what You have placed in me\, and live my life as Your lead and direct me. Help me continue to seek You and submit to You as You cultivate the gifts and talents You have given me. Help me obey Your guidance and instruction and allow You to use it as You will. Not only does it take boldness to come before You\, it also takes boldness to hear You and obey. Please continue to cultivate boldness in me…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:
