DESCRIPTION:Matthew 19:16 And\, behold\, one came and said unto him\, Good Master\, what good thing shall I do\, that I may have eternal life? (KJV) \nWhat are you asking God for? \nBecause you are in a war\, being refreshed and replenished is a constant need. Where do you get these needs fulfilled? You will find all you think you need and more in the secret place of the Most High God. The presence of the Lord is captivating\, overwhelming\, inspiring\, refilling\, and energizing all at the same time. When engulfed by His Spirit\, you are free. Do you know there is nothing you can’t do\, and nothing and no one can stop you\, as long as God is guiding\, covering\, and directing you? You may not have a testimony of God working things out in your life. Moses experienced God in ways that could only be described as miraculous as he took the forty-year journey from Egypt to the promised land. You can read Moses’ testimony in Psalms 91. Please take time to read it in its entirety. However\, here is an excerpt that highlights the point.  \nPsalm 91:14-15 For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: “Because you loved me\, delighted in me\, and have been loyal to my name\, I will greatly protect you. 15 I will answer your cry for help every time you pray\, and you will feel my presence in your time of trouble. I will deliver you and bring you honor.” (TPT) \nYour times of getting away to be with the Lord are most probably less frequent than they need to be. Therefore\, hold on to every one of those experiences. Do everything you can to carve out time for more of them. Those are the times when you ask God life-changing questions: “Father\, will You take me higher in You? Will You accept my offering as I surrender all of me? Will You let me know what You want me to do next?” Your passionate desire to please the Father has to ring from your heart and soul. Then you will ask for transforming things!   \nThis is what David asked of the Lord: \nPsalms 27:4 One thing I have asked of the Lord\, and that I will seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life\, To gaze upon the beauty [the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur] of the Lord And to meditate in His temple. (AMP) \nThis is what the Lord asked Solomon\, what Solomon asked of the Lord\, and the Lord’s answer: \n1 Kings 3:5\, 9\, 11-13 \n5 At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said\, “Ask! What shall I give you?”  \n9 Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people\, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?  \n11-13 Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing\, and have not asked long life for yourself\, nor have asked riches for yourself\, nor have asked the life of your enemies\, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice\, 12 behold\, I have done according to your words; see\, I have given you a wise and understanding heart\, so that there has not been anyone like you before you\, nor shall any like you arise after you. 13 And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor\, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days”. (AMP) \nLearn from the one God called a man after His own heart and the wisest man there ever was or ever will be. Make your request a good one by staying in the presence of God! \nPlease agree with me as I pray. When I come to You in prayer and when I’m in worship\, I ask You to teach me about You. I can feel Your presence. I know You bring me into Your secret place because You want to fellowship with me more than I could ever want to fellowship with You. I’m excited. I know You will show me Your way for my life. Not only do You grant me the joy of Your presence as I live\, I also have the promise that I will be with You forever. I repent for taking any of this time for granted. I want to share these experiences with the world. I want to tell everyone about my God\, who can do exceedingly and abundantly above all I can ask or think. There is nothing I can’t ask You for\, that is in Your will\, that You would withhold from me. The tag team comprises two or more wrestlers who are working together as a team. According to the rules\, only one competitor per team can be the ring. Also\, the only way a wrestler can change places with a partner is to “tag” him or touch him on some part of his body. Usually\, one of the team members is being beaten down to the point they are about to lose. Then the dramatic “tagging” happens. Those rules do not govern your life in Christ.  \nExodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain calm. (AMP) \nIt is not a tag-team match. God does not allow you to get all beat up and then He steps in. He is always there with you.  \nPsalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength\, an ever-present help in trouble. (NIV) \nGod is your keeper! That is a weapon you need to settle in your spirit. The devil fights hard. He may even knock you down a time to two; he cannot hold you down forever.  \nProverbs 24:16a Although a righteous person may fall seven times\, he gets up again\, (NET) \nThe Lord is holding your hand. Fight like it! He may allow you to fall when it will strengthen you. However\, He is keeping you from destruction. This reminder should change your fighting tactics.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. You are teaching my hands to war and my fingers to fight\, and I won’t stand before the enemy trembling. There is no possibility where he will win. Nothing exists on the earth\, above the earth\, or beneath the earth he can use\, that You can’t stop. Because of You\, I fight like there is nothing You have ordained for my life that the devil can prevent me from attaining. This revelation allows me to tap into Your power within me. When You speak to me\, I want to stand on it. Though the enemy will try to whisper in my ear\, he will not move me. Your word is my rock and my solid foundation. You’re holding me\, fighting through me\, and bringing to pass what You have already purposed and predestined. You are omniscient; You know I’ve already won the victory. I repent for those days when I said\, “I’ll do it afraid.” I cannot walk in light and darkness at the same time. You have not given me the spirit of fear. The devil is the peddler of fear. I cannot partner with the enemy to accomplish something You have called me to do. DESCRIPTION:Galatians 5:1 Christ defines your faith; he is your freedom from anything the law could never free you from! Find your firm footing in this freedom. Do not let religion trip you up again and harness you to a system of rules and obligations! (TMB) \nAre you freely giving? \nIn Maslow’s hierarchy of needs\, the need to belong comes right after the need to have food and be safe. It is pretty important in the life of every human being. As a Christian\, you often seek to fulfill that need in church or in some Christian ministry\, group\, or club. Depending on where you are in your relationship with the Lord\, your need to belong could put you in a position where you compromise what you know is true just to be accepted by a person or the group. This is such a strategic tool used by the enemy. There is a lot of damage that people who are sincere\, just sincerely wrong\, can do. \nColossians 2:16-19 So don’t put up with anyone pressuring you in details of diet\, worship services\, or holy days. All those things are mere shadows cast before what was to come; the substance is Christ. 18-19 Don’t tolerate people who try to run your life\, ordering you to bow and scrape\, insisting that you join their obsession with angels and that you seek out visions. They’re a lot of hot air\, that’s all they are. They’re completely out of touch with the source of life\, Christ\, who puts us together in one piece\, whose very breath and blood flow through us. He is the Head and we are the body. We can grow up healthy in God only as he nourishes us. (MSG) \nJust remember\, You Are Free. You don’t have to agree with anyone on every issue. You can stand on what you believe. No one can require anything of you\, not your time\, talent\, money\, allegiance\, presence at events\, obedience\, etc. You are free.  \n1 John 2:27 As for you\, the anointing [the special gift\, the preparation] which you received from Him remains [permanently] in you\, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His anointing teaches you [giving you insight through the presence of the Holy Spirit] about all things\, and is true and is not a lie\, and just as His anointing has taught you\, you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him\, knit to Him]. (Amplified Bible) \nThough you are free\, you want to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you. It is the right choice to make when you don’t want to defy the Lord. It is important that you understand\, when you disobey the Holy Spirit’s guidance\, you are only rebelling against the Lord.  \nPsalm 51:4 Against You\, You only\, have I sinned and done that which is evil in Your sight\, so that You are justified in Your sentence and faultless in Your judgment. (AMPC) \nYour Heavenly Father is the only power over your life. He has given you an unction.  \n1 John 2:20 But you have an (unction) anointing from the Holy One [you have been set apart\, specially gifted and prepared by the Holy Spirit]\, and all of you know [the truth because He teaches us\, illuminates our minds\, and guards us from error]. (AMPC\, edited) \nYou will know when you are being obedient to the Father through the local church. You also know whether you are being rebellious or if it is just an accusation. Be excited about this information and walk in the freedom Jesus died for. God loves a cheerful giver.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I want to serve You out of my love for You. I repent for not doing that. I will not allow someone to impose rules\, regulations\, and obligations on my life to fit their agenda. If what anyone requests of me doesn’t fall in line with what You’ve already spoken to me; You have given me the courage to say no. I want to do what I do\, because I love You; not because I’m trying to gain footing in some place or with certain people. You continue to guide and direct me; unveiling what You have ordained for my life. I know my obedience to You must follow what You have spoken to me. I understand I can and should show my obedience to You through my experiences in whatever ministry or local church I’m assigned to. I also know You will show me how. Thank You for giving me deeper understanding. Man-made goals cannot and will not supersede what You have ordained. I thank You for showing me I don’t have to be bound anymore. First\, spend some time in praise and worship\, thanking God for who He is and what He did for you. Remind yourself of the times when you thought there was no hope for you. The Lord reached down\, picked you up\, and set you on a new path.  \nPsalms 118:28 You are my God\, and I will confess\, praise\, and give thanks to You; You are my God\, I will extol You. (AMPC) \nPsalm 113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised. (KJV) \nSecond\, take some time to reflect on what God has promised to be your future.  \nRevelation 21:3-4 and then I heard a loud voice from the throne\, saying\, “See! The tabernacle of God is among men\, and He will live among them\, and they will be His people\, and God Himself will be with them [as their God\,] 4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish\, or crying\, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.” (AMP) \nYou will stand washed\, clean\, without spot or blemish. You are the church Jesus is coming back for. There will be no remnants of what used to be in your life. There will not be any scars that normally remain after a wound heals\, reminding you of a past hurt. There is a burst of energy you should get just thinking about what God has prepared for you.  \nRevelation 19:1 AFTER THIS I heard what sounded like a mighty shout of a great crowd in heaven\, exclaiming\, Hallelujah (praise the Lord)! Salvation and glory (splendor and majesty) and power (dominion and authority) [belong] to our God! (AMP) \nAre you able to witness to right now? Yes\, you are. Do it. Make this truth available to as many people as you can\, and they too can experience this same joy.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nMy Father and my God\, You are Jehovah Tsidekenu\, The Lord Our Righteousness. I thank You for washing away all my blemishes. Thank You for removing every reminder of the pain I endured throughout my life. I repent for holding on for the amount of time I did. I could not spread joy because I had of all the unresolved pain. Now I have no more scars from trials\, tribulations\, persecutions\, betrayal\, grief\, or death. You are Jehovah Maccadeschem\, The Lord Who Sanctifies. You present me clean. DESCRIPTION:1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one despise you for your youth\, but set the believers an example in speech\, in conduct\, in love\, in faith\, in purity. (KJV) \nAre you letting your light shine? \nIt does not matter how long ago you got saved. If you look long enough\, you will probably find some seasoned saints\, those who have been saved for a long time. Sometimes\, the seasoned saints might inadvertently dismiss your input because of your youth. How do you and others define youth? Youth is a function of age. The time you have been alive measures age. The Bible refers to time in three different ways: \n\nChronos – meaning minutes and seconds\, or time as a measurable resource. \nHora  – meaning a certain or definite time or season fixed by natural law and returning with the revolving year. \nKairos – meaning God’s timing\, especially in terms of fulfilling the prophetic\, and completing His will and purposes.  \n\nKnow that the saints can measure your youth in Chronos\, Hora or Kairos time. They will say things like\, “when you have been on the battlefield as long as I have you will know.” Don’t let that hinder you.  \n2 Peter 3:8 Don’t imagine\, dear friends\, that God’s timetable is the same as ours; as the psalm says\, for with the Lord\, one day is like a thousand years\, and a thousand years is like one day. (TVT)  \nYou have to recognize what plot and trap the enemy is using to interfere with your passion\, and stop him. The Bible gives you instruction on what to do\, no matter how you measure your time with the Lord. \nIf Chronos: \nEphesians 5:15-16 Therefore see that you walk carefully [living life with honor\, purpose\, and courage; shunning those who tolerate and enable evil]\, not as the unwise\, but as wise [sensible\, intelligent\, discerning people]\, 16 making the very most of your time [on earth\, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence]\, because the days are [filled with] evil. Even though it delays\, wait [patiently] for it\, Because it will certainly come; it will not delay.” (AMP) \nIt’s true your unbridled passion may get you into trouble. Please know\, you can be the better for it. What the enemy means for your demise\, God can get glory from\, if you let Him. Continue to live a life that glorifies God. No matter where you go or who you are with\, redeem the time and let your light shine; then men will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, it does not matter how I am measuring my time with You\, I’ve come to a place where I can just be me. I can let my light shine. I thank You. I can speak of Your goodness. I can talk of who You are. I can lay claim to my salvation and openly proclaim that I’m excited about it. I will let no one despise it\, and I won’t despise it. Am I too young in terms of time on the earth? Am I too young in terms of the season I am in? Am I too young because someone else thinks You have not finished with my preparation and maturing yet? I am no longer concerned about what other people think when it comes to hearing Your voice. I will hold who You say I am and what You’ve done in my life to a higher esteem level. You have shown me I need to be excited about what You are doing and have done in my life. When I’m not\, I am telling and showing You I ashamed of You. It means I think You made a mistake or have left something out. I repent for evaluating Your work. DESCRIPTION:Galatians 6:1 Brethren\, if a man be overtaken in a fault\, ye which are spiritual\, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself\, lest thou also be tempted. (KJV) \nAre you restoring in meekness? \nHave you ever been engaged in activity you knew was not glorifying to God or edifying to the Body of Christ and a brother/sister in the Lord saw you? How did the interaction play out? Do one of these examples describe it? \nOne\, if they were truly spiritual\, they came and talked to you about it\, and you felt the love of God as they spoke. You did not feel judged or dirty. You repented to the Lord\, and He restored you. \nRomans 15:1-2 Now\, those who are mature in their faith can easily be recognized\, for they don’t live to please themselves but have learned to patiently embrace others in their immaturity. 2 Our goal must be to empower others to do what is right and good for them\, and to bring them into spiritual maturity. (TPT) \nTwo\, they were judgmental and critical. You felt even if you stopped immediately and never returned to that behavior; that person and many others would always see you the same way. In essence\, the person made you feel you would never be clean.  \nRomans 7:18-19\, 24 For I know that nothing good lives in me\, that is\, in my flesh [my human nature\, my worldliness—my sinful capacity]. For the willingness [to do good] is present in me\, but the doing of good is not. 19 For the good that I want to do\, I do not do\, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. 24 Wretched and miserable man that I am! Who will [rescue me and] set me free from this body of death [this corrupt\, mortal existence]? (AMP)  \nThree\, they said nothing to you at all. However\, you know they saw you.  \nMatthew 5:23-24 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar\, and there remember that your brother has something against you\, 24 leave your gift there before the altar\, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother\, and then come and offer your gift. (NKJV)  \nIt does not matter\, now\, how it played out then. Should you find yourself in any of these three scenarios\, again; follow the scripture. If you find yourself on the other side\, remember how you felt. Every believer has a target on his/her back. Though you may feel you are above temptation\, don’t allow the devil to fool you. Today it is them\, tomorrow it could be you.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I’ve been on both sides of the witness stand. I have been the one who saints and sinners alike have evaluated. They found me wanting and left me feeling as if there was no hope. I’ve also been the one who found someone who had erred. I want to say I always handled it right. I know I cannot. I thank You for giving me the opportunity to show Your love and mercy. I repent for those I left in a worse state. You have changed and continue to change me. Today I speak love and I speak light into the lives of those You allow to cross my path. I am grateful You find me worthy to be Your ambassador. Keep me close to You as I share the good news about You who loves no matter what. I don’t want to leave a person judged and lost because of where they are located. You are God and You can and will bring them to a new place with a new consciousness. A place where there is no condemnation\, only conviction that saves. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed\, not deficient in any way. (MSG) \nAt this stage in your understanding of the spiritual war and level of your training\, the answer should ring in your heart and spring from your lips. “I am standing tall!!” Are you? The old folks used to say\, “Pull yourself up by your bootstraps”. Not sure how to do that\, however the point is\, tighten your grip on the Lord and get ready for the next round. David encouraged himself in the Lord (1Sam 30:6). You have to do the same. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Now\, He did not curse it just because it did not have fruit. This was not the season for bearing fruit. He cursed it because it “looked” like it had fruit. Fruit usually comes before the leaves. When Jesus saw the leaves from a far off\, He thought there would be fruit. He was hungry and a tree with fruit would meet His need. Make sure you are not “pretending” to be someone who can meet a need. \nMatthew 23:27-28 Woe to you\, teachers of the law and Pharisees\, you hypocrites! You are like a grave that has been whitewashed. You look beautiful on the outside\, but on the inside\, you are full of moldering bones and decaying rot. 28 You appear\, at first blush\, to be righteous\, selfless\, and pure; but on the inside you are polluted\, sunk in hypocrisy and confusion and lawlessness. (TVT) \nNo matter how talented you are and how gifted you are\, without God\, you can do nothing. You can’t just appear to be full of fruit from far away. Someone is going to come to pick a piece of fruit off your tree because: \n\nThey may not understand a love that does not come with a price tag\, and they need divine love in all its varied expressions.\nThey may not know what life is like without despair\, and they need joy.\nThey may be full of conflict\, and they need peace that subdues.\nThey may not have had someone walk with them despite the life they have chosen\, and they need patience that endures.\nThey may only know cruelty and need to see kindness in action.\nThey may not know what goodness looks like\, and they need an example of a life full of virtue.\nThey may not have any faith\, or their faith wavers\, and they need to know there is a God Who provides faith that prevails.\nThey may have never experienced mercy. Your motivation has to come from the pure desire to be of service to someone else. \nCorinthians 9:7 Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart\, not grudgingly or under compulsion\, for God loves a cheerful giver [and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift]. (AMP) \nWhen you give from your heart\, you can “feel” nothing happened because of what you did. The good thing is\, you won’t look back on your actions with regret. Doing whatever you want\, when you want\, how you want\, and with whom you want\, comes with a price. \nRomans 6:23a For the wages of sin is death; (KJV) \nIf you dance to the music\, you have to pay the piper. The price of unfettered freedom is corruption of the mind and body. DESCRIPTION:2 Corinthians 2:8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him. (KJV) \nAre you managing forgiveness?  \nThere is no way around it. If you say you love the Lord\, you have to forgive. Here is what makes it tricky. Some offenses “seem” to affect you more than others\, carry more weight\, and do more damage. No matter how you feel\, you must extend the same grace you have received. Unforgiveness can really negatively affect you because the same pattern of forgives you use\, God uses toward you. \nMark 11:25 When you pray\, if you remember anyone who has wronged you\, forgive him so that God above can also forgive you. (TVT) \nMatthew 6:14-15 If you forgive people when they sin against you\, then your Father will forgive you when you sin against Him and when you sin against your neighbor. 15 But if you do not forgive your neighbors’ sins\, your Father will not forgive your sins. (TVT) \nUnforgiveness can prove to be worse and really dangerous territory for the one you choose not to forgive. The devil can get an advantage in his/her life. He can also use your unforgiveness to cause hard thoughts toward God and religion. He could drive that person to a place of despair and have him/her think Christians are\, and therefore God is\, unforgiving. Unforgiveness causes bitterness\, which the love of God does not shine through. Therefore\, how can you witness? \nHebrews 12:15 Watch over each other to make sure that no one misses the revelation of God’s grace. And make sure no one lives with a root of bitterness sprouting within them which will only cause trouble and poison the hearts of many. (TPT) \nAre you applying the standard God set for forgiveness? Do you really want to live with unforgiveness in your heart? Do you keep in mind that you don’t want to be overindulging of sin or too severe? Only God can help you navigate the answers to these questions. Please remember\, this is how you confirm the love of God lives in you. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I confess managing forgiveness is sometimes hard for me. I think I forgive most things\, however there are some things that are really tough for me. I wanted to forgive\, yet I felt as though forgiving would give leeway to more of the same behavior. I thought it would give my stamp of approval\, and/or appear as if the behavior was not wrong. This was such a struggle for me. I repent because I know thinking like this is judgement\, and I placed myself in a position that is Yours alone. I repent for affecting anyone’s life negatively. 70×7 was just an example Jesus used to denote the number of times we should forgive. I know there is no actual number. I used to be concerned about forgiving and what it would mean for someone who didn’t seem to be remorseful. Did that mean there is no need for a standard? Was it okay for them to do whatever they wanted? Would they take my kindness as weakness? Was I giving them permission to repeat the behavior? Thank You for showing me I am not the record keeper. Thank You for helping me see forgiveness is for me\, not for the one who offended me. I want to live a life where a person can come to me and find love\, forgiveness\, and understanding. (KJV) \nHave you given up on someone? \nHave your friend\, relative or acquaintance adapted a lifestyle you know was ungodly. What was your response? Was your first thought\, it’s their life? Did you somehow eliminate your need to speak to them? Did you convince yourself you would be nosy or pushy if you spoke to them? Did you wonder what happened to the joy of their salvation\, their relationship with the Lord\, their passion for the things of God? So many things could have happened. Here are a few\, to take into consideration\, to stop you from getting too judgmental: \n\nThey kept letting their schedule rule instead of making sure they did not use God’s time for something else.\nThey set their heart on things that really don’t matter and the enemy lured them away.\nThe trials in their life caused them to become discouraged\, and they focused on those problems and took their eyes off Christ.\nThey wanted prosperity and wealth. They sought after that first and not the Kingdom of heaven.\nThey drift away from God because they have habitual sin in their lives that causes them to feel guilt when they show up at church\, reluctant when they pray\, and hypocritical when they read their Bible.\n\nHave you ever been there? What does the Bible instruct you to do? \nGalatians 6:1-2 My spiritual brothers and sisters\, if one of our faithful has fallen into a trap and is snared by sin\, don’t stand idle and watch his demise. Gently restore him\, being careful not to step into your own snare. 2 Shoulder each other’s burdens\, and then you will live as the law of the Anointed teaches us. (TVT) \nDon’t give up on them. Do battle on their behalf. Today it’s them\, tomorrow it could be you. Keep their names in God’s ear. Ask Him to use you in their lives. If He gives you an open door\, speak to them with love. Prepare yourself to celebrate their return. Always remember\, He did not give up on you. \nLuke 15:8-10 8 Jesus gave them another parable: “There once was a woman who had ten valuable silver coins. When she lost one of them\, she swept her entire house\, diligently searching every nook and cranny for that one lost coin. 9 When she finally found it\, she gathered all her friends and neighbors for a celebration\, telling them\, ‘Come and celebrate with me! I had lost my precious silver coin\, but now I’ve found it.’ 10 That’s the way God responds every time one lost sinner repents and turns to him. He says to all his angels\, ‘Let’s have a joyous celebration\, for the one who was lost\, I have found!’” (TPT) \nGod may use you as water that softens the ground\, in order for Him to bring the increase. It doesn’t matter who they are or where they are. God’s grace and mercy can reach them. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. How dare I deal with someone as if You cannot help them? Maybe they are not my assignment. I repent for giving up. You never give up. You continue to send someone to speak a word. I don’t have the right to decide if a person wants You or not. How could I know? I have often quoted the Bible\, “A tree is known by the fruit that it bears.” Somehow\, I thought that gave me the right to let go. I am sorry. You are God\, not me. There is nothing You can’t do. There is no one You can’t reach. You reached me. I repent. Don’t allow old legalistic mind-sets to trip you up again. (TMB) \nIs your path obstruction free? \nGod has a plan for your life and a path for you to walk. You have the responsibility to make sure the path you are walking on is what God desires. \nJeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you\,” says the Lord\, “plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster\, to give you a future and a hope”. (AMP) \nAlso\, God has designed your path to be as plain and as easy to follow as possible. That is the way God does it. No hoops to jump through. \nMatthew 11:29-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (MSG) \nAlso\, keep in mind other people are watching you and trying to walk the path you are walking. \nYou cannot allow obstructions to cause you or anyone else to stumble. \nHebrews 12:1 Therefore\, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness]\, stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us\, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us\, (AMP) \nWhat are obstructions? They are addictions\, distractions\, afflictions\, distresses\, etc. Ask the Lord to show you the obstructions in your life. When He does\, whatever they are\, get rid of them. They need to go. Don’t make excuses for your wrong behavior or it will just get worse and cause you to stumble on the path and possibly cause you to fall or fail. And the sadder part is\, it could most probably cause someone else to stumble as well. \nRomans 13:14 But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)\, and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts). The thing is\, there was no reason for him to live as a slave. He did not realize the relationship he had with his father did not end because he left. It was still intact. He was still his father’s son. It did not matter where he was or how he was currently living. When he returned home\, his father proved that to him (Luke 15:11–32). \nLuke 15:20 So the young son set off for home. From a long distance away\, his father saw him coming\, dressed as a beggar\, and great compassion swelled up in his heart for his son who was returning home. The father raced out to meet him\, swept him up in his arms\, hugged him dearly\, and kissed him over and over with tender love. You are being changed into the image of God\, day by day. Some days you reflect on your walk\, you can see the hand of God and identify major changes have happened in your life. Some days when the enemy catches you in a moment of weakness and you will slip\, you see yourself as if no changes have happened at all. Remember\, in both instances\, this is as far as you can see. Always make sure you are looking with the eyes of the Father with a clear\, not distorted view. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, my salvation is a difficult thing for me to wrap my head around. I am not saved because of something I did. I am saved because of what Jesus did. No matter what I do\, I can’t undo what Jesus did. Though my heart is toward You\, sometimes I stumble; I falter; I slip and I behave in a way not indicative of someone who loves You. Father\, I thank You I’m not lost in those moments. You don’t throw me away. Jesus died and made forgiveness available to me always. I just have to ask. Jesus bought and paid for my forgiveness with His death on the cross. I just needed to repent. I can’t really understand how or why. I can only say thank You. I will not allow the enemy to convince me You would turn me away. I will especially not allow the enemy to convince me I am not really Yours. He will not stop me from doing what You have called me to do with lies about who I am and what I possess through salvation. DESCRIPTION:John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him\, I am the way\, the truth\, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father\, but by me. (KJV) \nWhich way are you walking in? \nTrains run on tracks monitored by the traffic operations center\, driven by the engineer and coordinated by the conductor. Though the conductor has overall responsibility for the train\, sometimes things happen the conductor is not aware of. Then\, the traffic operations center determines what needs to be done. It could be a reduction of speed\, dropping some weight\, switching to another track\, etc. The traffic operations center notifies the conductor and can even change what track the train is on by triggering a railroad switch called a turnout. The traffic operations center activates the switch\, if the train needs to change\, and the train can safely transfer from one track to another. The engineer’s job is to make sure the train moves when and if directed to do so\, in order for the train to get to its destination safely and at the appointed time. \nThe Father owns the tracks and is at work in your life with Jesus\, your traffic operations center. The Holy Spirit is the conductor\, and you are the engineer on the train called your Christian walk. \nPsalm 1 Blessed (happy\, fortunate\, prosperous\, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice\, their plans and purposes]\, nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk\, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. 2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord\, and on His law (the precepts\, the instructions\, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. (AMPC) \nYou are to make sure all aspects of your life are working to glorify God. God will test you. You will either pass or fail every day. As the conductor\, you use your body\, your mind and your spirit to drive the train. The body\, and all the lusts that entice it\, has to be disciplined\, through prayer and fasting. \nIsaiah 58:6 “[Rather] is this not the fast which I choose\, To undo the bonds of wickedness\, To tear to pieces the ropes of the yoke\, To let the oppressed go free And break apart every [enslaving] yoke”? (AMP) \nYour mind will war against what the Lord commands and desires because you want what you want. If left unchecked\, you win\, not the will of God. \n2 Corinthians 10:5-6 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture\, like prisoners of war\, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. 6 Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry\, we stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion\, as soon as you choose complete obedience. (TPT) \nSalvation created the spiritual connection (the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). You cannot live the life God designed for you if you are not listening\, at all times. Discipline yourself and fine tune your ears\, because the Lord is speaking to you at all times. \nIsaiah 30:21 And your ears will hear a word behind you\, saying\, This is the way; walk in it\, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left. (AMPC) \nEvery time your train is running\, and a change needs to be made\, Jesus\, who is always making intercession for you\, signals you through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lets you know you need to stop\, slow down\, switch to a new track\, change what you are doing and/or how you are doing it\, etc. With the Holy Spirit’s guidance\, you can accept the change and choose Jesus\, no matter what He requires\, every day. However\, you are in control\, and you don’t have to. \nProverbs 16:25 There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him\, But its end is the way of death (AMP) \nChoose wisely. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, even though I know You’ve already planned every step in my life\, I sometimes look at my situation and try to plan what I should do next. I repent. Even though I have history showing me there were ways that seemed right to me\, I also have history that shows what I thought was the right way turned out to be the wrong way. Yet\, I still try to plan. Again\, Father\, please forgive me. Help me allow Jesus to be my traffic operations center and trigger the junction switch. He alone can keep me on the path leading to You. I thank You for loving me enough to order my steps. I thank You for teaching me how to bring my flesh under submission to Your word. I thank You because my mind is not ruling my activities. If I am willing and obedient\, my spirit\, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead\, determines my actions. I will stay close to You in order to see the glory that You ordained for my life. Because you could get sidetracked on your journey to a closer walk with the Lord. \nMark 7:7-9 In vain (fruitlessly and without profit) do they worship Me\, ordering and teaching [to be obeyed] as doctrines the commandments and precepts of men. 8 You disregard and give up and ask to depart from you the commandment of God and cling to the tradition of men [keeping it carefully and faithfully]. 9 And He said to them\, You have a fine way of rejecting [thus thwarting and nullifying and doing away with] the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition (your own human regulations) (AMPC) \nIt does not matter how many songs you sing\, programs you chair\, prayers you pray\, tongues you speak in\, people you transport\, demons you cast out\, or meetings you attend. Works you do “for God” will not reconcile you to God. These activities cannot make atonement; they do not have the power to pay for your sins and cannot put away guilt. \nRomans 4:4-5 Now to a laborer\, his wages are not credited as a favor or a gift\, but as an obligation [something owed to him]. 5 But to the one who does not work [that is\, the one who does not try to earn his salvation by doing good]\, but believes and completely trusts in Him who justifies the ungodly\, his faith is credited to him as righteousness (right standing with God). While I am alive\, the only way I can be in Your presence is in the Spirit. My flesh has to be crucified. I repent for not laying aside what I think\, how I feel\, and what I have determined You should do in any situation when it is time for You to speak. My ego has no place in Your presence. My intellect should not determine how I should act. I am grateful I do not live in the days where the priest had to wear bells at the bottom of his robe in the event he came to You unworthily. I submit myself to You completely. You decide the who\, what\, when\, where\, why\, and how of my life. I come into Your presence to hear Your heart and get Your instruction and direction. DESCRIPTION:Psalms 25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. (KJV) \nAre you meek? \nWhat is it about meekness that appeals to the Father? What is meekness? \n\nIn a standard dictionary\, the definition is quiet\, gentle\, easily imposed on\, and submissive.\nIn a Bible dictionary\, you see a completely different definition. Meekness is a temper of mind not easily provoked to resentment.\n\nMeekness is not merely a natural virtue\, it is a Christian “grace”. It is one of the “fruit of the Spirit” (Gal 5:23). The translation from Hebrew/Greek to English is difficult because the Hebrew/Greek language is compact. One Hebrew/Greek word could be five or six different English words. This is important because scriptures identify meekness is an attitude or quality of heart\, not simply a character trait. \n1 Peter 3:4 But let it be [the inner beauty of] the hidden person of the heart\, with the imperishable quality and unfading charm of a meek\, gentle and peaceful spirit\, [one that is calm and self-controlled\, not overanxious\, but serene and spiritually mature] which is very precious in the sight of God. (AMP edited) \nThe meek person: \n\nWillingly accepts and submits without resistance to the will and desires of God.\nComplies with the instructions and desires of man only if they line up with God’s.\nFocusses on the wishes of God\, not on personal wants\, ideas\, and goals.\nTakes a back seat and allow God to work to achieve what is good for others.\n\nIsaiah 42:1-4 “Take a good look at my servant! I love him dearly\, for he is my chosen one. I have taken hold of him in my strength\, and I have clothed him with my Spirit. He will cause justice to spring up for the nations. 2 He will be gentle and will not quarrel with others in public. He will not exalt his own voice. 3 He would never crush a broken heart nor disregard the weak and vulnerable. He will make sure justice comes to those who are wronged. His inner being will not become faint or discouraged\, nor will his light grow dim before he establishes justice on the earth. Blessed are the meek\, for they shall inherit the earth. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for meekness. You require me to walk in it. I repent for thinking if I was meek\, someone would trample on me and mishandle me. I don’t have to defend myself. You will defend me. You require meekness to be evidently active in my life\, in order that any other gift\, skill\, or talent You endowed me with can shine and give You glory. You knew I would need meekness in order for You to use me. You have taught me many things about being meek. Meekness is not the opposite of assertiveness. Meekness is a quality all its own. It is the fruit of the Spirit. It is not something I put on a take off; I need to let it shine through\, all day\, every day of my life. You are calling me to bring the strength You’ve given me\, willingly under submission\, to You and Your authority. You will use it as You desire. Father\, get the glory out of my life\, please.
