(KJV) \nAre you disciplining yourself and studying as a way of life? \nIn order to live a life that God approves\, you need a training plan. You have to study. It is a commandment\, and it requires discipline. You need to read commentaries\, different versions of the Bible\, devotionals\, books\, etc. You should continue in prayer\, as you read\, in order to get revelation. Revelation is a necessary thing. Add to your training plan\, spending time worshipping and praising the Lord daily. You develop and construct your plan based on who you are\, your experiences\, and the information you have gained. Finally\, and most importantly\, you need the presence of God\, evident in your life\, to make “informed choices about your plan”.  \nProverbs 4:1-2\, 5 Hear\, O children\, the instruction of a father\, And pay attention [and be willing to learn] so that you may gain understanding and intelligent discernment. 2 For I give you good doctrine; Do not turn away from my instruction. 5 Get [skillful and godly] wisdom! Acquire understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment\, mature comprehension\, and logical interpretation]! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. (AMP) \nThis is the foundation of your plan. God’s manifested presence intensifies when you spend more time with Him. Time spent with Him when you study\, pray\, praise\, and worship makes your relationship with Him stronger. The stronger your relationship\, the more you will want to spend time with Him. Can you see the circular motion of this plan? It keeps repeating itself and you get stronger and stronger with each cycle.  \nPlease agree with me as I pray. DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some\, apostles; and some\, prophets; and some\, evangelists; and some\, pastors and teachers; (KJV) \nIs who God called you to be more important than your training? \n “What is the call of God on my life?” Is this a question you may have asked more than once or twice? The enemy wants you to be hindered if you don’t feel you know the answer. God designed much of your training to help you understand how He gifted you and to perfect His gift in you. Your life is the training ground. How you respond or don’t respond; what you feel or don’t feel; whether you can see God at work\, etc.; all help you identify who you are in Christ.  \n2 Timothy 1:9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling\, not according to our works\, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began\, (NKJV) \nYour need to be able to say\, “God has called me to _________”\, can be a powerful weapon in the hands of the enemy. He can whisper in your ear and cause you to miss revelation and pass up answers to prayer because your focus is on completing that sentence. The important thing for you to do is gain from the training. If you keep your focus on God\, in His timing\, you will fill in the blank. The surprise is\, you will come to see The Father filled in the blank before the foundation of the world. You just needed to learn\, through your obedience\, who God created you to be. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. I want to understand who I am as You unfold Your Will for my life. You guide my footsteps by giving me the opportunity to choose You every day. I repent for those days when I chose myself. Thank You for stopping me from creating my purpose and my plan because I had such an obsession to identify Your call on my life. I say return Him to the center because if you can’t find God; it is because your focus is on you.  \nIsaiah 26:3-4 You will keep the peace\, a perfect peace\, for all who trust in You\, for those who dedicate their hearts and minds to You. 4 So trust in the Eternal One forever\, for He is like a great Rock—strong\, stable\, trustworthy\, and lasting. (TVT) \nBeing overwhelmed is an indication that your problem\, your issue\, your situation\, etc. is the only thing you’re focusing on. Remember\, God loves you and whatever you’re going through is for your refining and development. Instead of thinking about the difficulty of the problem\, think about the majesty of the Lord God\, your Father\, who loves you. Your life experiences will train you to focus on God in order to have peace. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, there have been many times when I have come to You overwhelmed with life. Sometimes I was overwhelmed because of the choices I made and sometimes because of choices that were made for me. Whichever the case\, as I continued to call on You\, I came to realize I should come to You worshiping and thanking You\, not complaining and whining. I am truly sorry\, and I repent. I have learned to move my problems from the center of my consciousness and replace it with the knowledge of You. You reassure me\, and You lift me up. You continue to tell me that no matter what life brings\, Your love is greater. Your love supersedes the feelings I may have about my current state. I then shift my focus to the truth of Your love. You covered all my faults\, pains\, and fears. Just basking in Your presence keeps me from staying down and sustains me through that moment and every other moment to come. I can celebrate. DESCRIPTION:1 John 4:6 6 We [who teach God’s word] are from God [energized by the Holy Spirit]\, and whoever knows God [progressively to perceive\, recognize\, and understand God by observation and experience and to get an ever-clearer knowledge of Him] listens to us [and has a deeper understanding of Him]. Whoever is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know [without any doubt] the spirit of truth [motivated by God] and the spirit of error [motivated by Satan]. (AMP) \nAre you too concerned about being accepted? \nWhen people agree with you\, it makes you feel approved and recognized. Wanting to be accepted is a part of being human. As you live your life each day\, you will come in contact with people who do not understand why you feel the way you do; why you make the choices you make; why you respond the way you respond\, etc. It is okay. As a believer\, the only way a person can and will understand your “whys”; is if they understand who God is. It is not enough for them to see who God is in your life or even who He is in their lives. They have to see who He is to everyone in the world. If you feel you are not being accepted\, you cannot make someone understand or agree with the stand you take. Your actions and reactions come from your relationship with God.  \nOn the other hand\, if what you hear from God does not line up with the people who are offering you acceptance\, another issue is at stake. It is important to allow The Father to guide you. Knowing the difference between what is right and what is wrong is not always easy\, especially when you are deciding on being accepted by someone or a group you want to be a part of. The very intelligent\, crafty and persuasive people can make error look a lot like truth. God gives you the knowledge and wisdom to know the difference. \nMark 8:34-37 Jesus called the crowd together with His disciples\, and said to them\, If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple]\, he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests]\, and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me\, conforming to My example in living and\, if need be\, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. 35 For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death]\, but whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake and the gospel’s will save it [from the consequences of sin and separation from God]. 36 For what does it benefit a man to gain the whole world [with all its pleasures]\, and forfeit his soul? 37 For what will a man give in exchange for his soul and eternal life [in God’s kingdom]? (AMP) \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather God\, I come to You asking for wisdom as I deal with those who cross my path each day. Help me distinguish between those who don’t accept me and those who reject You. In either case\, show me if there’s something You would desire for me to say or do. I repent for getting my feeling entangled and trying to fix it myself. In every situation\, please lead me in the path You have chosen and give me the words to say that will bring understanding\, enlightenment\, and give me peace. I know it is not my responsibility to change someone’s mind. If they do not know You\, then they will not understand my words and my actions will not make sense to them. Help me not to give up my life with You\, bit by bit\, as I compromise what You require\, to get what I desire. Help me continue to live a life that pleases You. I realize You are teaching me how to take away the struggle in my interactions\, how to eliminate the need for acceptance\, and how to change my desire from convincing to demonstrating. They increase the intensity\, and they develop more. They are excited about what they see and continue to work toward perfection.  \nSo it is with your walk with the Lord. As you live your life in constant communion with God\, you will begin to develop into the person He created you to be. You will get greater revelation and clarity. Don’t stop seeking\, praying\, and studying. This is not the time for you to stop training and start trying to identify your “ultimate call.” It is a trick of the enemy. If you stop training\, you be like the unsaved Israelites. \nRomans 10: 2-3  For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God\, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness\, and seeking to establish their own righteousness\, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. (NKJV) \nStay the course and allow God to move you at His will and pace. \nPhilippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing\, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; (NKJV) \nIt is not enough to know what gifts God has given you\, you also have to allow Him to develop those gifts. Then you can complete the tasks He has assigned to you. \nHebrews 13:20-25 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead\, that great Shepherd of the sheep\, through the blood of the everlasting covenant\, 21 make you complete in every good work to do His will\, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight\, through Jesus Christ\, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (NKJV) \nThough you should not run ahead of God\, you also can not rest on your laurels\, either. There is much He has to do in your life. Even more than you can imagine. \nJames 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work\, that ye may be perfect and entire\, wanting nothing. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I seek You every day to make sure that I am walking in Your perfect will for my life. I study and I wait because I know You have an appointed time to reveal the next thing You have ordained for me. You continue to show me who I am in You. I know\, at the appointed time\, You will guide me to fulfill Your purpose. I repent and ask for Your forgiveness for the times when I was in a hurry. Thank You because I am not anymore. Now\, I only want to be diligent in my walk. I know You have ordered my footsteps and they will take me right into my destiny. Keep me close to You. Help me increase my commitment and communion with You. I will not stop because of what You have done with my life up to this point. Help me keep training. Fight against the spirit of rejection\, indifference\, and isolation by having compassion.  \nLuke 6:32-36  “Are you really showing true love by only loving those who love you back? Even those who don’t know God will do that. 33 Are you really showing compassion when you do good deeds only to those who do good deeds to you? Even those who don’t know God will do that. 34 If you lend money only to those you know will repay you\, what credit is that to your character? Even those who don’t know God do that. 35 But love your enemies and continue to treat them well. When you lend money\, don’t despair if you are never paid back\, for it is not lost. You will receive a rich reward and you will be known as true children of the Most High God\, having his same nature. For your Father is famous for his kindness to heal even the thankless and cruel. 36 Show mercy and compassion for others\, just as your heavenly Father overflows with mercy and compassion for all.” (TPT) \nWhether a person knows what kind of vibe they give off or not; they know what kind of vibe they receive. When you show empathy to a person who is without kindness\, you make a difference. Not only in their lives\, you also make a difference in your own life. Every time you show kindness instead of judgement\, you are developing compassion. As your compassion grows\, your capacity to love grows as well. Use as your example the love Jesus had when He died for you and still has as He makes intercession for you.  \nEphesians 4:32 Be kind and helpful to one another\, tender-hearted [compassionate\, understanding]\, forgiving one another [readily and freely]\, just as God in Christ also forgave you. (AMP) \nYou don’t want your actions to be a “onetime” thing. You want compassion to become a part of who you are and become an “all-the-time” thing. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nMy Father\, I did not really understand compassion until I got old enough to understand what it took for You to save me. Then I realized\, when I was not thinking about You; when I was Your enemy; when I was lost in sin; You loved me and gave Your life for me. Even now\, I try to be obedient and do what You require. Sometimes I miss it\, and I repent. Thank You for forgiving me and continuing to love me and bless me despite me. You are compassion. I thank You for every opportunity to represent You. I desire for my actions to show You to a world who doesn’t know You and therefore cannot understand who You are. I know You are training me to show love and mercy in any and every situation; not just when it is shown to me. Your love has to show through me\, especially when it’s not shown to me. DESCRIPTION:1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly\, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith\, giving heed to seducing spirits\, and doctrines of devils; (KJV) \nIs your foundation in God secure enough to survive being tested? \nAs a part of your training\, you will get plenty of opportunities to depart from the faith. This is when your faith is being exercised and developed. Someone will say something that triggers certain emotions. Or you will experience something that shakes you. In either case\, you might make statements like: \n“If this is what Christian love is\, I don’t want it.” \n“Maybe he/she is right\, and this Christianity thing does not make sense.” \n“I am the master of my fate and the captain of my ship.” \n“I make things happen for me and no one else can.” \n“This is too hard\, no one can live the way God wants.” \nWhen you get to that place\, run to the Father. Don’t stop to think\, just go to Him and say: \nPsalm 61 O God hear my prayer. Listen to my heart’s cry. 2 For no matter where I am\, even when I’m far from home\, I will cry out to you for a father’s help. When I’m feeble and overwhelmed by life\, guide me into your glory\, where I am safe and sheltered. 3 Lord\, you are a paradise of protection to me. You lift me high above the fray. None of my foes can touch me when I’m held firmly in your wrap-around presence! 4 Keep me in this glory. Let me live continually under your splendor-shadow\, hiding my life in you forever. (TPT) \nPlease know the one who is whispering in your ear is a professional liar\, the Father of lies\, designed to cause you to question what you believe. The devil is good at his job. Be good at yours as well. \n1 Corinthians 10:13-15 Any temptation you face will be nothing new. But God is faithful\, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can handle. But He always provides a way of escape so that you will be able to endure and keep moving forward. 14 So then\, my beloved friends\, run from idolatry in any form. 15 As wise as I know you are\, understand clearly what I am saying and determine the right course of action. (TVT) \nKnow what you believe\, know that you are not alone\, and stand on your faith. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather God\, I don’t want to be seduced by the enemy. I know he is calculating. I know he has a well-designed strategic plan for my destruction. I repent for trying to skip the training because I thought it was hard. I know I must continue to submit to Your guidance and instruction. That is the only way I will be as strategic in my stance as the devil is in his. My life is my training. Help me continue to look at it from that perspective. Help me evaluate the godly choices and the ones that grieved You. I want to learn from both. I want to know how the enemy attacks me; so\, I am not deceived. I know the only way I will resist satan is if I continue to draw closer to You.
