SUMMARY:Hebrews 7:19
DESCRIPTION:Hebrews 7:19 In its ability to reunite mankind with God\, the law did not succeed even once; that is why it was superseded by the introduction of a far superior hope\, a new order in which we are perfectly represented before God. (TMB) \nIs your relationship religious or spiritual? \nAdhering to religious practices and activities does not and cannot make you perfect before God. This is important for you to know. Why? Because you could get sidetracked on your journey to a closer walk with the Lord. \nMark 7:7-9 In vain (fruitlessly and without profit) do they worship Me\, ordering and teaching [to be obeyed] as doctrines the commandments and precepts of men. 8 You disregard and give up and ask to depart from you the commandment of God and cling to the tradition of men [keeping it carefully and faithfully]. 9 And He said to them\, You have a fine way of rejecting [thus thwarting and nullifying and doing away with] the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition (your own human regulations) (AMPC) \nIt does not matter how many songs you sing\, programs you chair\, prayers you pray\, tongues you speak in\, people you transport\, demons you cast out\, or meetings you attend. Works you do “for God” will not reconcile you to God. These activities cannot make atonement; they do not have the power to pay for your sins and cannot put away guilt. \nRomans 4:4-5 Now to a laborer\, his wages are not credited as a favor or a gift\, but as an obligation [something owed to him]. 5 But to the one who does not work [that is\, the one who does not try to earn his salvation by doing good]\, but believes and completely trusts in Him who justifies the ungodly\, his faith is credited to him as righteousness (right standing with God). (AMP) \nPlease don’t believe you can earn and/or sustain salvation by doing good works. Your good works will not restore things to the way God wanted them before man broke the Law and became a sinner. Thank God for Jesus! He is the new promise. \nColossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception [pseudo-intellectual babble]\, according to the tradition [and musings] of mere men\, following the elementary principles of this world\, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Christ. (AMP) \nDon’t get entangled in the old way\, walk in the newness of Christ! \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather God\, I thank You for ending the need to work to have a relationship with You. Thank You for sending Jesus to die. He established my relationship through His shed blood. Thank You for not requiring me to sing a million songs or be in charge of a million programs. As if a million would be enough. Thank You most of all for the steady and quiet reminder in my spirit\, “It’s not You\, It Is Me”. The tendency to want to do things that are pleasing to men\, thinking it will please You\, has been present for as long as I can remember. I thank You for being in control. You check me when I stray off the path. I honor You. You make countless provisions for me to be transformed into Your image. I repent for every time I chose tradition instead of Your command. Thank You for never giving up on me…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:1 Peter 3:18
DESCRIPTION:1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins\, the just for the unjust\, that he might bring us to God\, being put to death in the flesh\, but quickened by the Spirit: (KJV) \nAre you living like you are in the presence of God? \nIt does not matter whether or not you think you were worth the sacrifice. It was not up to you\, and it’s done. Jesus died not only for you\, but for the entire world. Because you accepted His invitation to salvation\, He brought you to God. \nEphesians 2:17-19 The Great Preacher of peace and love came for you\, and His voice found those of you who were near and those who were far away. 18 By Him both have access to the Father in one Spirit. 19 And so you are no longer called outcasts and wanderers but citizens with God’s people\, members of God’s holy family\, and residents of His household. (TVT) \nThe benefit is not only heaven\, there is also much more. \n\nGod will never forget you\, leave you\, or abandon you.\n\nDeuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of good courage\, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God\, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (NKJV) \n\nThe Holy Spirit is your teacher. You have clear communication with Him.\n\n1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence (the assurance\, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan)\, He listens to and hears us. (AMPC) \n\nYou don’t fight alone.\n\nIsaiah 41:10 “Do not fear [anything]\, for I am with you; Do not be afraid\, for I am your God. I will strengthen you\, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice\, of power\, of victory\, of salvation].” (AMP) \n\nYou have the Spirit of God dwelling in you.\n\nJohn 14:17b But you know him (The Holy Spirit) intimately because he remains with you and will live inside you. (TPT\, edited) \n\nYou are a partaker of God’s Divine nature.\n\n2 Peter 1:4 By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises\, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature\, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (NKJV) \nArmed with these truths\, live like someone who has access to the Father in all you do and say. You are dead to sin and alive in Christ. It should be evident in how you live your life. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for the revelation that Jesus’ death brought me to You. While I am alive\, the only way I can be in Your presence is in the Spirit. My flesh has to be crucified. I repent for not laying aside what I think\, how I feel\, and what I have determined You should do in any situation when it is time for You to speak. My ego has no place in Your presence. My intellect should not determine how I should act. I am grateful I do not live in the days where the priest had to wear bells at the bottom of his robe in the event he came to You unworthily. I submit myself to You completely. You decide the who\, what\, when\, where\, why\, and how of my life. I come into Your presence to hear Your heart and get Your instruction and direction. Our relationship is spiritual. Thank You. This rhema word will forever change how I live my life…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Psalms 25:9
DESCRIPTION:Psalms 25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. (KJV) \nAre you meek? \nWhat is it about meekness that appeals to the Father? What is meekness? \n\nIn a standard dictionary\, the definition is quiet\, gentle\, easily imposed on\, and submissive.\nIn a Bible dictionary\, you see a completely different definition. Meekness is a temper of mind not easily provoked to resentment.\n\nMeekness is not merely a natural virtue\, it is a Christian “grace”. It is one of the “fruit of the Spirit” (Gal 5:23). The translation from Hebrew/Greek to English is difficult because the Hebrew/Greek language is compact. One Hebrew/Greek word could be five or six different English words. This is important because scriptures identify meekness is an attitude or quality of heart\, not simply a character trait. \n1 Peter 3:4 But let it be [the inner beauty of] the hidden person of the heart\, with the imperishable quality and unfading charm of a meek\, gentle and peaceful spirit\, [one that is calm and self-controlled\, not overanxious\, but serene and spiritually mature] which is very precious in the sight of God. (AMP edited) \nThe meek person: \n\nWillingly accepts and submits without resistance to the will and desires of God.\nComplies with the instructions and desires of man only if they line up with God’s.\nFocusses on the wishes of God\, not on personal wants\, ideas\, and goals.\nTakes a back seat and allow God to work to achieve what is good for others.\n\nIsaiah 42:1-4 “Take a good look at my servant! I love him dearly\, for he is my chosen one. I have taken hold of him in my strength\, and I have clothed him with my Spirit. He will cause justice to spring up for the nations. 2 He will be gentle and will not quarrel with others in public. He will not exalt his own voice. 3 He would never crush a broken heart nor disregard the weak and vulnerable. He will make sure justice comes to those who are wronged. His inner being will not become faint or discouraged\, nor will his light grow dim before he establishes justice on the earth. Even the distant lands beyond the seas will hunger for his instruction.” (TPT) \nMeekness is strength under control. Blessed are the meek\, for they shall inherit the earth. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for meekness. You require me to walk in it. I repent for thinking if I was meek\, someone would trample on me and mishandle me. I don’t have to defend myself. You will defend me. You require meekness to be evidently active in my life\, in order that any other gift\, skill\, or talent You endowed me with can shine and give You glory. You knew I would need meekness in order for You to use me. You have taught me many things about being meek. Meekness is not the opposite of assertiveness. Meekness is a quality all its own. It is the fruit of the Spirit. It is not something I put on a take off; I need to let it shine through\, all day\, every day of my life. You are calling me to bring the strength You’ve given me\, willingly under submission\, to You and Your authority. You will use it as You desire. Father\, get the glory out of my life\, please. Whatever has to be done\, do it. I humble myself before You…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Colossians 3:24
DESCRIPTION:Colossians 3:24 Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. (KJV) \nAre you royalty? \nYes. \n1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race\, a royal priesthood\, a consecrated nation\, a [special] people for God’s own possession\, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (AMP) \nWith that understanding\, you may ask\, “Why can’t I have some of the reward God has promised now?” Are you sure you don’t? Jesus died and rose again. Because you accepted the truth of His life\, death and resurrection\, you are an heir and you have ruling power. \nEphesians 2:6 He raised us up with Christ the exalted One\, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm\, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ! (TPT) \nBecause You accepted the invitation to salvation and live the life Jesus died for\, you are royalty. Though you will be with the Lord in eternity\, you also get to live like the royalty you are right now. You have benefits and rewards today. \nMark 10:29-30 Jesus said\, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you\, there is no one who has given up a house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms\, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake\, 30 who will not receive a hundred times as much now in the present age—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms—along with persecutions; and in the age to come\, eternal life”. (AMP) \nHere is just a small list of your privileges as an heir. There are many more: \n\nYou are more than a conqueror. (Romans 8:37).\nYou are an overcomer. (1 John 4:4).\nYou are the head only and not the tail. (Deuteronomy 28:13).\nYou can have what you say. (Mark 11:24\, Matthew 17:20).\nYou are healed. (1 Peter 2:24).\nYou are free. (John 8:36\, Galatians 5:1).\n\nYour “right now” rewards come at a cost. Jesus paid the first part; the rest you pay through sacrifice and commitment\, if you are willing and obedient. \n2 Timothy 2:10-12a Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes\, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him\, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer\, we shall also reign with him: (KJV) \nIt is up to you to realize you are royalty\, along with the privileges and rewards attached. It starts with your perception of your life. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for requiring me to walk and speak like the royalty I am. I am Your child. I have authority\, privileges\, and rewards right now. I repent for not taking the time to understand what it meant to be Your heir. It is so much more than asking You run around with a mop and bucket cleaning up my mess. Thank You for revelation. Being Your child means I walk in a place where I make fewer messes. I am responsible for how I see myself and what I feel about the things happening in my life\, whether they are trials or triumphs. What I do when I face any situation\, and what I say about how the outcome of the situation\, dictate the true level of my relationship with You. Wow\, what a wake-up call for me! I want my relationship with You to be intense and extreme. I’ve been measuring it by what I see in the natural. I will no longer do that. I will measure it by my transformation. I have to see myself as being changed from glory to glory. I am Your heir and a joint heir with Christ. I will live like it…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Hebrews 4:14
DESCRIPTION:Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest\, that is passed into the heavens\, Jesus the Son of God\, let us hold fast our profession. (KJV) \nAre you standing on your profession of faith? \nHave you accepted salvation? Do you believe in the work Jesus did on the cross and in your life? Then live like it. The enemy is not just going to step aside and allow you to live a life free from his attacks. \n1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith\, lay hold on eternal life\, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. (NKJV) \nYou can go to the priest\, pastor\, religious leader\, etc. you have in your life for support. However\, always remember\, Jesus is the one you should run to. He reigns above them all. He is always available and wants you to establish a relationship with Him. He is the great High Priest. Jesus is the one who made atonement for you and for the world. He alone offered the ultimate sacrifice for sins: past\, present and future. He can help you when you are faltering. \nHebrews 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations\, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are\, yet without [committing any] sin. (AMP) \nWho is better equipped to help you\, than the Lord? No one. When the enemy comes\, your response is to stand on the truth. You have confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord; you believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead\, and He saved you. Don’t waiver. Never let the enemy make you question this\, no matter what. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You for my salvation. I thank You I confessed with my mouth Jesus is my Lord. I understand lordship means ruler. I believe in my heart on the third day You raised Him from the dead. I am saved. I repent for allowing anyone to speak over my life and that I am not saved. No one can tell me\, based on what they determine about my behavior\, I’m not saved. No one can say to me\, based on their evaluation of my life\, I’m not saved. No one can take away from me what they could not and did not give me. I stand on the truth when I’m up and I stand on the truth when I’m down. My God\, I will always profess my salvation and I give You glory…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Colossians 1:22
DESCRIPTION:Colossians 1:22 He accomplished this in dying our death in a human body; he fully represented us in order to fully present us again in blameless innocence\, face-to-face with God; with no sense of guilt\, suspicion\, regret\, or accusation; all charges against us are officially cancelled. (KJV) \nHow are you living? \nCriminal investigators round up specific suspects when they are not sure who the culprit is. They analyze the scene of the crime to get clues as to the method used to pull names from a list\, called the usual suspects. Those who have committed a similar crime before and/or who have that M.O. (modus operandi). Once a person’s name is on that list\, they can never break free of the stigma attached to them. Investigators will always know them as one of the usual suspects because of the crimes they committed in their past. It does not matter how old they get or how long ago they committed the crime. \nHere is a reason for you to celebrate. Jesus died for you. He took on your sins\, made a way for you to never sin again\, and He continually presents you before the Father. \nJude 24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin\, and to present you unblemished [blameless and faultless] in the presence of His glory with triumphant joy and unspeakable delight. (AMP) \nNot only can you stand in the presence of God\, you can stand\, without fault\, without blemish\, and without blame! You are no longer on the usual suspects’ list. \nPsalm 103:12 You see\, God takes all our crimes—our seemingly inexhaustible sins—and removes them. As far as east is from the west\, He removes them from us. (TVT) \nJesus canceled the charges\, and He expunged the record. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, I thank You because I don’t have to live waiting for the shoe to fall. I repent for the non-living I was doing\, waiting for my past to catch up with me and determine my future. There was no glory in that for You. You saved me and set my future. I thank You\, Father\, for placing my sins in the sea of forgetfulness. Thank You for washing me and making me whole. No matter where You take me in this life\, whatever I have done\, it is done\, and I can’t change it. What I know\, Father\, is I can celebrate because my past cannot take away what You’ve given me. Not even I can stop the plans You have for my life and going to the places You have ordained for me go. Nothing and no one can eliminate the peace You’ve given me. No matter what list I used to be on\, I have a new way of being known. I am saved\, set free and delivered! I feel Your strength and I’m thankful for Your love…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:

SUMMARY:Ephesians 6:7
DESCRIPTION:Ephesians 6:7 With good will doing service\, as to the Lord\, and not to men. (KJV) \nAre you giving reasonable service? \nDo you measure the level and quality of your service by the environment you are in? For your job\, you might work some extra hours and not require payment. For your family\, you might give up what you want for the desire of the group. At your church\, you might take part\, and serve in some capacity\, on several ministries instead of one. \n1 Corinthians 10:31 Therefore\, whether you eat or drink\, or whatever you do\, do all to the glory of God. (NKJV) \nAlways remember\, the work you do should be as unto the Lord\, not for the praise\, not for position\, not for a promotion\, nor status. When you reflect on the work you do\, you are not the one who measures the level and quality of your service; the Lord is. \nColossians 3:23 Whatever you do [whatever your task may be]\, work from the soul [that is\, put in your very best effort]\, as [something done] for the Lord and not for men\, 24 knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [greatest] reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you [actually] serve. (AMP) \nThe Lord is with you everywhere\, which means you are always working for (representing) Him no matter where you are. As a servant of God\, you don’t do what makes sense to you. God compels you to do what He requires. \nActs 20:22 And now\, you see\, I am going to Jerusalem\, bound by the [Holy] Spirit and obligated and compelled by the [convictions of my own] spirit\, not knowing what will befall me there. (AMPC) \nBe willing to offer all of who you are and ever hope to be\, to serve without need for payment\, to sacrifice without knowing how it will affect you\, and bring glory to the Father because you are grateful for His mercy. \nRomans 12:1 Therefore I urge you\, brothers and sisters\, by the mercies of God\, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves\, set apart] as a living sacrifice\, holy and well-pleasing to God\, which is your rational (reasonable\, logical\, intelligent) act of worship (service). (AMP\, edited) \nIf you run after God with all of your heart\, you won’t miss an opportunity to serve\, now. \nPlease agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response: \nFather\, every time I serve\, I want to work as if I am serving You. I’m grateful You have shown me what it means. I should live a sold-out life all day\, every day. I repent for those times when I do not. I am to be available for You. I am to do whatever You want me to do; whenever You want me to do it; with whomever You choose for me to work with; and however You want it done. I am to be open and willing for You to exercise Your sovereignty over my very existence. I repent for those times when none of those statements were true for me. Help me live my life remembering my service to You is to give myself to You\, entirely\, all that I am and all that You have yet to manifest in my life. I wait patiently for the opportunity for me to serve…\n \nAsk the lord what he wants to say to you about today’s devotional and journal it here:
