Colossians 1:13

January 13

Colossians 1:13 He rescued us from the dominion of darkness and relocated us into the kingdom where the love of His son rules. (TMB)

Are you fighting alone?

The enemy does not want you to walk in God’s truth.

2 Corinthians 4:4 For their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, leaving them in unbelief. Their blindness keeps them from seeing the dayspring light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the divine image of God. (TPT)

Though the devil’s plan was to hide the truth from you, sin no longer has dominion over you. God translated you.

Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: (KJV)

God changed you from your old form, functionality, and state of being into His design for you. He changed you from who you were to who you are now. What you do now is different from what you did before God transformed you. He changed what you used to think about to what you think about now.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (NKJV)

Though you are in this world; you are not of this world. Because of this truth, which the devil tried to keep from you:

  • You will always be victorious.

2 Corinthians 2:14  Yet I am so thankful to God, who always marches us to victory under the banner of the Anointed One; and through us He spreads the beautiful fragrance of His knowledge to every corner of the earth. (TVT)

  • You don’t have to worry about the weapons being used against you.

Isaiah 54:17 But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord. (AMPC)

You are never alone.

Romans 8:38-39 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. 39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! (TPT)

When you understand and accept these truths; you gain more victories in this warfare. The love of Jesus Christ engulfs and protects you. You don’t fight alone. You will be victorious.

Please agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response:

Father, thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ. Thank You for moving me from a place of darkness where no victory is, to a place where Your love covers a multitude of my faults, gives me strength and reigns Lord over all. I repent for acting like I was fighting alone. I know I only have to believe You and trust in Your word, and I will not make that mistake again. The victory is already won, and I give You glory for it…
