Prophetic Training

Prophetic Training  ·  Week 08
WEEK EIGHT

  1. We pretend not to know because we don’t want to take responsibility, this is the privilege of slavery. The prevailing spirit behind our behavior needs to be dealt with.
  2. God can guard His people, is He not God enough to care for me?
  3. It does not matter what it looks like, it is going to be the God in us that prevails.
  4. What happens when a life becomes worship? Our whole being is submitted to the presence of Christ.
  5. My entire life is my response to what He is doing in worship.
  6. When we respond to what God has done in our lives, God releases what is due in that atmosphere.
  7. This is a spiritual battle. I must fight it spiritually. If I have to ask, “did I do something wrong”, then I probably did.

TIPS FOR WEEK SEVEN
  1. Once we say yes to God, He takes His perfect time to carve the masterpiece of His image in us. That is why transformation is a lifelong work.
  2. God’s gift of words, (what I call my ability to say exactly what is on my mind), is not what I need anymore. No need to defend myself, He is reshaping me so that it is not about church, but about Him.
  3. The light of God will shine through me. My life becomes the testimony. God is stabilizing me. Where love is – light will come.
  4. Everything that I do will be under the basis of love. Not emotional, but sensitive and passionate. I must pay very close attention and fully observe what the Spirit wants from me.
  5. There is nothing that has to be created, it is already there. I simply require stimulation of my faith. I need to agree with Him and walk it out.
  6. With leaning on the Spirit to hear, I will hear.
  7. Because God is the Redeemer of time, I don’t have to worry about wasted time.

WEEK SEVEN

  1. The mystery of the ages is solved – Christ in you, the hope of glory – God expressed.
  2. When you acknowledge God, you allow Him to move from observer to resident. Commit to God!
  3. I must demand a change in me. When the first love is compromised, we’ve been functioning out of duty.
  4. My emotions need to be in Him! When we are governed by the Spirit, we are discerning. Trusting what I sense is something that I don’t do.

TIPS FOR WEEK SIX
  1. To evaluate your thought life helps you to determine if you are growing closer to Christ.
  2. We don’t move until we decide something has got to change when we are in a life-and-death situation.
  3. As I lose my life and gain Christ, I find my liberty.

Prophetic Training  ·  Week 06
WEEK SIX

  1. God is my protector and covering, He will have my back.
  2. I have to release myself to the Lord and allow Him to work through me. That is how I can get a perspective of who I am.
  3. I have to be convinced that what God has made is wonderful. I cannot began to discount and discredit my life and everything around me. My faith in who God made me to be is not outward it is within.

What is my greatest fear “our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” Nelson Mandela

  1. When I see how satisfied God is with me, I won’t need to be validated by other people and I become stable. No longer trying to find a happy medium which really is impossible

TIPS FOR WEEK FIVE

  1. Our ability, if we are to get any answers, is not to have dual thinking.
  2. We need to understand that everything belongs to us.
  3. We have to remain in the place where God has called us – to abide in and under the authority and bounty of the Father.
  4. Our prayer life will change. (Lord, I can’t do it but you have already set it in motion. What you have ordained, I submit my person to you. To work through me)
  5. Every person has a characteristic of God in them.

Prophetic Training  ·  Week 05
WEEK FIVE

  1. In this time of being still, I know that God is keeping me still.
  2. The interesting thing is that during this process I see myself as having to impress God with stuff. Being still and not doing anything at all is really difficult for me. I am list and completion driven and it does create stress.
  3. God does not feel any better about me if I do something or if I simply do nothing at all, He is just in love with me.
  4. But the reality is there is no such thing is doing nothing.
  5. I have to expect to encounter adversity in my life.
  6. The closer I get to God the more He will reveal and heal.

I have to remember that I live in a deeply fallen world. I have got to stop trying to find a way to circumvent my difficulties. The main problem with that is an easy lie is that my need for God is masked . When I became a Christian, I infused my life with the very life of God. He empowered me to live on a supernatural plane by depending on him. I have to anticipate coming face to face with impossibilities: situations totally beyond my ability to handle. The awareness of my inadequacy is not something that I should try to convey it is precisely where God wants me – the best place to encounter God is in His glory and power. When I see armies of problems marching toward me I should cry out to God. I should allow God to fight for me. I should watch God working on my behalf and I should rest in the shadow of His almighty presence.    — Jesus Calling (August 18)

TIPS FOR WEEK FOUR

  1. There is nothing lacking in me in light of who I am and who God made me to be. The only lack that I have is in the natural thinking.
  2. Be led by the Spirit of God to utilize everything that is available to me.
  3. If prophecy happens in public there must be interpretation.
  4. In light of moving in the Spirit, you do so by His moving in all things. Once you set your heart to live in that way, it becomes always your perspective.
  5. I will come to find that everything about me and my walk is at peace. I will only relate to others in that sense of urgency for the benefit of those I am relating to. Everything about my life is prayer!
  6. What prayer actually is needs to be identified and embraced. Always be connected to God because we will recognize that God is with us, in us and for us.

WEEK FOUR

  1. I was faced with a question that I had to ask myself.  Why is it that I am always looking for things to be better.  Why can’t I just accept the status quo.  The nature of the call on my life and the nature of someone with the make-up that  have makes me attuned to the apologetics (i.e. defense of the gospel) I am sensitive and mindful that I hear God.
  2.  I was led to watch the Matrix for an analogy of the process that I am in. For my findings click here.
  3. I have to walk in the integrity of the spirit.
  4. It doesn’t matter what people plan, it only matters what God has planned. When we are in the plan of God we have to allow the finished work of God to be manifested. We can’t move until that happens.
  5. Christ has to become everything (i.e. our entertainment, life, joy, clothing), He has to be everything to me.
  6. Things are prudent but not always expedient (Titus 1)
  7. God does not live in our body, He lives in our spirit.

The Matrix

Items from the Matrix will be in blue.

  • Neo was looking for something.
    • I know that I have been looking for my purpose for a long time.
  • He was told that he had a problem with authority.
    • It has been my experience that the perception is that I had a problem allowing those in authority to tell me how to feel and what to do. it would have seemed that I had a problem with authority.
  • He was sent a telephone.
    • He was given personal invitation to the next level in his life. The Lord spoke a word to me audibly and my invitation find out what He had called me to do.
  • He wondering why what this happening to him.
    • And I did also. Why was I continually looking for something more.  Why was I unable to just get with the program.
  • He does not like it when he is not in control of his life.
    • I have always wanted o decide what was happening in my life. Made my decisions and dealt with the consequences.  I came to  understand the God would not share control of my life with me.  It was either going to be Him or me.
  • He has felt this way his entire life.
    • True for me
  • He did not know what it was but he felt it.
    • I have always known that there was something moving me, drawing me. There was a reason that I did not fit in with everyone else. I did not know what it was then, but I know now.
  • Morpheus told Neo that he could not tell him what is was, Neo had to experience it for himself. Morpheus could only show Neo the door.
    • Even though Tyrone did not know that he was my Morpheus, he was.  When we began the training, I was unsure of all that he was telling me.  So much of what he said was contrary to what I have believed.  It was up to me to seek the Lord, study the word and find out for myself.
  • Morpheus told Neo that he was only offering him the truth.
    • That is exactly what Tyrone said to me. Though a lot of what he was saying was hard for me to take, I had to allow the Lord to show me.
    • When God is bringing me into His reality, everything that I have accepted a spiritual will be challenged and He will take it through the cross. “Change the world” Christendom teaches us to be small and ineffective.
  • Neo had residual self image, he had to free his mind.
    • When trying to make a change, it is often hard to let go of what you are accustomed to. It is a residual image of yourself.  I had to free myself of who I thought I was and what I used to think about myself and allow God to show me who He created me to be.
  • There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.
    • The interesting thing about this reality is that is one thing to say I understand her I know that this call is on my life. But it’s another thing entirely to begin to walk in the way that this call requires. The gifts in the callings of God without repentance, but to allow this anointing this gift to be mature in my life requires of me. The only thing free is salvation everything else, costs.
  • Ultimately Neo discovered a world without rules and controls, borders or boundaries were anything was possible.
    • It is the desire of God for us to understand that the rules and controls in the borders and boundaries that this world would place on us are there only if we allow them to. The word of God stands that with God all things are possible. Nothing is impossible. I want to walk in a way where I live out that reality.
