Corinthians 10:13

January 16

1 Corinthians 10:13 Your situation is not unique! Every human life faces contradictions! Here’s the good news: God believes in your freedom! He has made it possible for you to triumph in every situation that you will ever encounter! (TMB)

Do you realize you have the victory?

Are there times when you feel as if you are alone in your situation? Do you tell yourself, “No one else is going through what I’m going through”? You may actually believe it; however, it isn’t true. The enemy uses the same tactics on everyone.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it. (MSG)

With every attack, he customizes his approach to be more destructive in your life. He has learned what to do to make you feel overwhelmed. It is simply a part of the war. Learn what God has already done for you to have victory. Then you will lessen and even counteract his attacks. You can also get to the place where you wills stop them.

  • God delivered you from the devil.

Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. (NKJV)

  • God gave you authority over every evil spirit and demon.

Luke 10:19 Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. (AMPC)

  • Jesus destroyed the works of the devil.

1 John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. (NKJV)

  • God has released you from fear

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (NKJV)

Take comfort and walk in confidence because you know the Lord God has made a way for you to be victorious in every situation you will ever encounter.

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. (NKJV)

Please agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response:

I thank You, Father, for victory in my life. At various times in my life, I don’t feel victorious, and I repent because I know Your word says I am. Continue to remind me that my walk with You is not about what I feel; it is about who You are and what You have done. I am not experiencing anything new. Others have gone through the same and You have brought them out. You have also given me a way of escape. Help me stand and walk triumphantly. Show me I can take it. I can bear my trials because of the blood of Jesus. You have made me an overcomer. Right now, I stand in the victory You bought for me, and I thank You…
