Psalms 29:2

November 6

Psalms 29:2 Honor the LORD for the glory of his name. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. (NLT)

How many compliments have you given the Father lately?

How do you feel when someone tells you how pretty you are; how smart you are; how well you did; etc. Doesn’t it make you feel great? Stop and take stock of what the Lord has done in your life.

Do you feel special and loved?

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (NKJV)

Romans 5:8 But think about this: while we were wasting our lives in sin, God revealed His powerful love to us in a tangible display—the Anointed One died for us. (TVT)

Isn’t it wonderful to count the blessings you’ve receive from the Lord?

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus the Anointed One, who grants us every spiritual blessing in these heavenly realms where we live in the Anointed—not because of anything we have done, but because of what He has done for us. (TVT)

Psalm 103:2 Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? (TPT)

Does it bring you joy to think about the blessings you are going to receive in the future?

Titus 2:13 Awaiting and looking for the [fulfillment, the realization of our] blessed hope, even the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). (AMPC)

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. (NKJV)

How often do you count the blessing you give to the Lord? Do you stop to marvel at the God you serve? Do you set aside special time to tell Him how wonderful He is?

Psalms 96:8 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. (KJV)

Your God is the God of gods. He created you to worship Him.

Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor, and power, for you created all things, and for your pleasure they were created and exist.” (TPT)

Take a moment and do it right now.

Please agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response:

Father, I spend time in prayer, thanking You for all You’ve done; making my requests known unto You and listening to hear Your voice. Though I know those are all good things, I repent for ending my time with You without making sure I lavished the same love on You that You cover me with every day. I am sorry I never thought about setting aside time to talk to You about You, and not about me. I am adding to the time I spend with You now and from now on. I will make sure I tell You that You are great. You are awesome. You are mighty. You created the world. You spoke and there was life. You created the magnificence of a body that can heal itself. Doctors and scientist are still unveiling Your work. You hear the prayers of every person on the planet. You know who is praying at any given time. You number the hairs on our heads. You are an amazing God, all by Yourself. If You don’t do anything else for me or for the world. You sent Your Son to die. You are able, because of Your power, to deliver all of humanity. I agree with Chris Tomlin, indescribable, uncontainable; You are an amazing God…
