Acts 26:18

January 11

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (KJV)

Are you willing to repent?

As you are coming to an understanding of what spiritual warfare actually is; the Lord God is opening your eyes. Repentance is a revelation, and it changed your life when the Lord saved you. If you are not saved, there is no better time than right now.

You can stop reading and go to the box at the bottom of page 5. Follow the instructions and return to this page; Saved!!!

If you returned, saved, congratulations. Please know, repentance is not just a onetime thing, it is an all the time thing. Repentance makes you rethink your choices. What used to be okay will not be okay anymore. God, through His infinite wisdom and unfailing mercy, will allow you to see what you thought was light was actually darkness. His forgiveness is wonderful and is available for you and to you because of His love.

1 John 1:9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose]. (AMP)

Confession and repentance break the strongholds the enemy created because of past activities. Then the Father will forgive you of your sins. However, He does not stop there. He will also cleanse and purifying you from the pollution of all the sins you have committed (unrighteousness). His boundless love provides even more blessing and benefits of repentance.

  • God will refresh you.

Acts 3:19 So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day]. (AMP)

  • You will draw closer to your Father in Heaven, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Zechariah 1:3a Therefore say to them [the Jews of this day], Thus says the Lord of hosts: Return to Me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you. (AMPC)

  • You won’t just talk the talk; you will walk the walk.

Matthew 3:8 So produce fruit that is consistent with repentance [demonstrating new behavior that proves a change of heart, and a conscious decision to turn away from sin]. (AMP)

  • You will prosper.

Proverbs 28:13 He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, But whoever confesses and turns away from his sins will find compassion and mercy. (AMP)

When you think about what repentance has done for you, you can open the eyes of others. It is just like any other good thing that happens to you. You want to share it. You will want to be a part of someone else’s breakthrough. If you don’t repent, you won’t be able to share the blessings.

Please agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response:

Heavenly Father, I am overwhelmed and excited because of Your love for me. You care enough to give me revelation on the continual need for repentance. In doing so, You brought me out of darkness into Your light. Right now, I repent for the time I could have been living for You in a deeper way if repentance was a way of life. You love me enough to forgive me for my ignorance and disobedience and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I am extremely grateful for the ability to repent; it puts me back in right standing with You. My faith is increasing with each day that passes, with each wrong I confess, and with each time You forgive me. Thank You!…
