Hebrews 7:25

June 20

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. (KJV)

Are you sure of the complete work of Jesus?

Partly saved is like being partly pregnant. There is no “almost or part-way” with the Lord Almighty. He saved you completely. There is nothing left undone.

John 19:28, 30 Jesus, seeing that everything had been completed so that the Scripture record might also be complete, then said, “I’m thirsty.” 30 After he took the wine, Jesus said, “It’s done . . . complete.” Bowing his head, he (voluntarily) offered up his spirit. (MSG, edited)

Hold on to this scripture when the enemy tries to make you think there is something you have to do in addition to what God has already done. God’s mercy saved you. There was nothing you could have done.

Titus 3:5 He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit. (AMP)

Because Jesus finished the work, when you cry to the Father, in your time of need, He hears you. There is nothing in your past to keep Him from intervening. Salvation wiped your slate clean, and repentance keeps it clean. You have this blessed assurance, and it is crucial when you are warring for yourself and on the behalf of others. Stand on the word.

Romans 6:4-6 We have therefore been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory and power of the Father, we too might walk habitually in newness of life [abandoning our old ways]. 5 For if we have become one with Him [permanently united] in the likeness of His death, we will also certainly be [one with Him and share fully] in the likeness of His resurrection. 6 We know that our old self [our human nature without the Holy Spirit] was nailed to the cross with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin. (AMP)

As you continue on your journey with the Lord, whether you are the planter, or the one who is watering; remember to speak this to encourage someone else.

Please agree with me as I pray. Then ask the Lord what your prayer should be and wait for His response:

Father, I thank You for assuring me of my salvation. I repent for thinking there was something I could do or not do that could change what You have already done. You have given me Your unshakable assurance. If I repent, there is nothing I could have done, am doing now, or ever will do, You wouldn’t forgive. I thank You because I can walk on the path You set for me, with Your assurance. I know You have ordained for me to speak to people as I travel along. Not only do they need to hear the words that I speak, they need to feel Your presence in the truth of them. There is no gift given, in the past, present, or future, that is greater than the gift of Your love. It is available to anyone who wants it. To let a dying world know the truth of Your love, I must live a crucified life. I must live the word and demonstrate it by faith. I have to adhere to it, rely on it, and completely trust in it. When I am faithful to do as You command, those who I come in contact with won’t have to be convinced. They will immediately sense Your love and desire it for themselves…
